Honestly, luxurious for the price you pay. Had a great stay there.

The hotel is clean and tidy and conveniently situated. Unfortunately, its very expensive for what you get. No tea making facilities, iasked for a kettle and a mug but was told no mugs, i had to go and buy one. I asked for bottled water and was told only one bottle a day and only given out after 3pm. The breakfast was one small roll full of lettuce and a small paper cup of coffee, only one cup per person, no fill ups! This hotel is not cheap and there are so many more friendly and for a better price. Look elsewhere.

Good

Best budget hotel! It was so clean, and organized. I saw staff even using a lint roller on the sofa in the lobby, which tells me they pay attention to detail and cleanliness. The rooms were very clean, the cleanest in my stay of 3 different hotels in Japan. I felt very comfortable there. I would 10/10 stay here again. The staff were very nice too. I appreciated all the amenities in the lobby and room. It was such a peaceful stay and I would stay here again

The stay itself was pleasant. I had a membership number, but was told I had no points or benefits because the reservation was not made through the hotel website. I would appreciate it if you could add something like other hotel chains do. There were not enough choices of breakfast items, and there was only jam and no butter. In Japan, people eat salad in the morning, but not in the West. Needs improvement.

Great timer here. The room was very clean, and the staff were very accommodating. 5/5 would stay here again.

Nice and inexpensive

This place was great and a 2 minute walk from the train station. Very new and very nicely clean and comfortable. The only negative was the free breakfast which bordered on awful. Inexpensive to boot. Highly recommended!

Hotel was very modern. Good location. Room was decent size according to Japan standard. Breakfast was not good at all. All you get is piece of bread, very small portion scramble eggs and some salad. I was on 8th floor. There from May 8 to May 13 2024. Don’t leave your money or expensive item in room when you not there. I had an Indian older lady that clean my room just about everyday. I thought it was odd that my room was cleaned everyday. After check out and flew to Korea, found out someone at this hotel stole $500 USD cash from my backpack. I was mad, but more so at myself for leaving cash in the room. I would give this place 5 star if breakfast was good and cleaning lady didn’t stole my cash.

Great hotel and location for exploring Kyoto.

Twin room was not too small for Japan standards. The room has a decent size vanity area and the toilet and shower are separated. Great spot for buses and trains

Hotel staff barely speak and/or understand English. It is hard to communicate to customers. In Japan, tourists feel unwelcome because almost every things are in japanese language. Hotel breakfast is not good.

Good hotel

Excellent stay. Spacious enough room, more so than at the APA in Tokyo. Included breakfast is perfect to start the day with a bit of energy. Location is great, a little back from the busier part of Shijo street to the East, but still just around the corner from the Shijo Omiya station if you need transit, and a 30min walk along the very lively Shijo street to get to the Yasaka Shrine to the East of the river. I did everything by foot over the two days I was there, and loved it.

Very good hotel, would stay here again! The room was fairly spacious and the wifi was super fast! Bfast is free for all the customers and the ambitious in my room looked very modern. Staff were nice and also cooperative with me with a few things on my end, and both the AC and Heater worked very well.

I was happy to stay here and dad when the time came to leave. Excellent experience.

Very clean, not close to much

I stayed in Gion last time I visited and probably prefer that area of town to this area. Not much by way of food and none of the attractions we were there for are within walking distance. Daily housekeeping was great and definitely not something I see at this price point very often. I was surprised by the lack of amenities--there is a small selection of things to pick up in the lobby but no hot water kettle/cups in the room. Room is also very small. I put one bag under the bed and one on the small table and had to shuffle sideways to get around the beds. Breakfast is included but is very small and the exact same meal every day. We ate the first two days and went out the second two when we realized it was going to be the same. There is a large lobby with plenty of seating but you are not allowed to eat or drink in there unless it is breakfast. We asked late at night if we could eat since the "restaurant" was closed and they said no. Don't really get that and it was disappointing to not be able to use that space when we were traveling with friends and not space in the room to relax together.

Great stay and great location!

Great stay and location was awesome. The bus and train to all of the temples was a 2 min walk from the hotel. Everything is new and clean. Self check in and self check out are great, and there’s staff there to help. We had a huge bed which was very comfortable. We only had carryon size luggage so the room was fine for us, but if you have a big luggage, you might find it tight. Room was cleaned everyday which was nice. Only downside is the breakfast which we knew in advance we wouldn’t be eating there. We did try it one morning but it wasn’t for us.

we had a great time at Prince Smart inn Kyoto Shijo Omiya Hotel. it is near the Shijo Omiya station that makes travelling to Arashiyama very convenient.

Good service, clean, convenient

Very clean hotel. The check-in machine was not fun, but the staff were super helpful. The room was small, like many less expensive hotel rooms in Japan, but the toilet was separate from the sink and shower. Breakfast restaurant on site gave a small but filling and it's involved in ecological work. Great location near railway and bus stations. There was a window but it was a frosted one, so we had no view.

7 night stay

2 min walk to bus stop to go to the jr railway clean friendly hotel. Good variety of restaurants in the area. Good size room our aircon fan was loud. No tea or coffee in room.No English breakfast offered. Netflix channel available. Good value

Really nice bed and pillows. A bit tiny and without ventilation because we couldn't open the window, but the showe preassure was really good too

Great location and modern facility!

Its about 5min walk from Kyoto Omiya station. Super clean and modern hotel. Rooms are nice and cozy and staff there are very very helpful. One plus points is that after your check out, they let you use lockers and you can come back to sort out your luggage as many times as you want for the whole day. Very central , bus stops and metro st nearby. Super easy access. From Kyoto st, it took about 30min door to door by bus. Recomend !

It's modern beautiful hotel, very small free breakfast

The staff was very kind and accommodating. They were very helpful. Everything was very clean and comfy. They had very good security. The area around was very nice and only a 20 ish minute walk to the gion district. I will be back here next time I’m in Kyoto!

とても快適でした。 静かな部屋をお願いしたら向かいから丸見えの部屋でカーテンが開けられませんでした。残念。 モーニング，サンドイッチは美味しかったですがコーヒーが不味くて飲めなかった。これも残念でした。 少し不便ですが部屋は快適でした。

全てがスマート

前々から気になっていたホテルですが、ようやく宿泊することができました。チェックインもストレスなくでき、宿泊特化型の高級版の印象を受けました。私にとって便利な立地なので、また宿泊したいです。

受付スタッフの態度が悪い

My stay on the hotelroom was very good, the room was nearly new, and the shower was also for high people 👍the only bad thing thing was that there was no view from the room, only view to the wall. The breakfast was poor, like being in a prison, a very little sandwich, some jelly and cold or hot the or coffe, they should have saved a little on cleaning and then have upgraded the breakfast.

saubere, aber kleine Zimmer, zentral, Taxistand , Seven Eleven , diverse gute Restaurants und ein Family Mart direkt in der Nähe. Check-In nur über Automaten, für ältere Reisende gewöhnungsbedürftig. Frühstück ( complimentary) für europäische Gaumen gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber es sind 2 Coffeeshops in der Nähe.

値段の割には

立地的に便利な場所でその割に安価でした。 ただ、部屋にバスタブがないのと洗面所の排水が悪いのは残念でした

安価なのに清潔・オートロックでカードキータイプ・お風呂とトイレが別・テレビでYouTube、Netflix等が見れるのはすごくいい点だと思います！ただ部屋に電子レンジがなかったりコップすらもなく紙コップをフロントから持っていくスタイルのため少々面倒くささはある。

50代後半の機械(スマホ操作)オンチの私でもわかりやすいチェックインの仕方で、迷ったとしても、側で優しく教えてくれるスタッフがいて、とても助かりました。部屋も綺麗で快適でした。

朝食が美味しくありません。無料なので文句は言えませんが。

Hotel smart con letto matrimoniale piccolo, consiglio 2 letti singoli come in camera dei miei figli. Attenzione la colazione compresa è molto ma molto minimal.
