Excellent hotel and friendly staff. Facilities are great for the family and kids

Very nice neat clean rooms. The check-in was very smooth. The animation team was very active and had amazing shows everyday. The food had amazing variety and good quality. All restaurants were open everyday to everyone. There were snacks available all day and beverages were good and well made. The staff was very hospitable. The property is very well located close to farsha cafe, old market and submarine water safari. The slides and wave pools were the highlight for the kids.Only issue was that the pillows were very very hard and the Aircon rattled a little. Overall had a fantastic experience here and would recommend to anyone with kids!

Amazing holiday!

We booked a last minute holiday to pickalbatros aqua blue and our expectations were exceeded by miles! The resort was lovely, staff were very accommodating and helpful, food was nice and general atmosphere was 10/10. We were offered a free upgrade upon arrival which was greatly appreciated and our helper Ahmed made out stay just that extra bit special.

Decent option if not for the key cards

I went with friends and the rooms were comfortable and clean, the food was about what you'd expect from an all-inclusive (nothing to write home about but not horrible), and the water park was fun. The biggest downer was the key cards/lock system for the rooms. It is no exaggeration to say that between our two rooms we went to the front desk over 10 times in under 48 hours because the key card worked at most once before failing. And I say at most because a couple times we came back with freshly written keys that still didn't work at all. Luckily we never had any emergency where we needed to get into the room immediately but it was extremely frustrating going back and forth multiple times a day just to be able to get into our rooms and by the end of our two days there I was extremely over it.

Aqua Blu Sharm

Excellent staff and great place for family vacation.

The resort is clean and beautiful, the staff are great. The buffets are a bit crazy at times and you sometimes have to wait a bit for the food to be prepared. Overall a very nice place to visit and explore the area. The excursion sales people are a bit aggressive and annoying when you are just trying to relax by the pool.

They stay was very good but i had a very bad experience in check in which led to enter my room at 4:30 pm

Amazing vacation

The aqua wax amazing, most of the staff was incredible except very few, the food was good except for the desserts, the beverage was average no fresh juice, no bottled water except in the rooms, Allover the experience was amazing

Tres bon établissement avec un service irréprochable

The property was excellent. The staff all around were professional. Life guards all around the pools and slide area. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The food was lovely and the entertainment team was amazing. We will surely come back. Great place for family.

We loved this place!!!!! We were just there for a five right before a dive trip in Sharm. Gym was awesome!!! Wifi didn’t work so well BUT who cares honestly when the food was terrific, all inclusive was the best, best waterslide on the Magic loop I’ve ever experienced in my life!!! Late check out was a minor fee. Worth it!!! I want to go back already!!! Oh and they made a cake and everything was setup at a restaurant for me to enjoy my bday!! They sang and danced with me! So fun!!

Aqua Blu Sharmtastic

Overall amazing trip and many thanks to ‘Aqua Blu’ and ‘Hotels.com’. Short distance from airport and easy transfer. Warm welcome and speedy check-in even at 2am! Staff across resort were very supportive, caring and helpful. Great water park for all ages. Variety of resort restaurants with all kinds of food imaginable. Lots of resort activities for all ages. This is an all inclusive resort. Sharm is not a dangerous destination, completely the opposite.

Great stay

Bit cold but still plenty to do here.

Food specially the fruits and salads are not good

Kids enjoyed the water park but for outside trips. the hotle has worst trips center. Do not trust the people who are comming to you to offer trips outside the hotle. Most of the trips are not safe specailly if there is a cruise in the red sea, like life jackets are given during the trip. My trip was in my opinion should be rated 3/5.

Great Value for Money Water Park Resort

This is our second trip to Aqua Blu in as many years and we will return annually. The resort is very well organized, the staff friendly and always available to assist. We will return next year.

Bad Hotel

Very bad experience the room was very bad, the staff don't care about the guests, just they want to steel your money, the actives was bad also, they will take us on a groups and we will wait two ours to do one activity for 5 minutes

Nice kids pools, a bit dated.

The Aqua Blu is a bit further from the airport than most of the resorts in Sharm El Sheik. The water park is large, but most of the slides and rides are for kids 120cm tall and 10+ years old. Our kids did enjoy the two kid zones and some other pools. The rides at the resort have had a lot of use and are not in the best of shape anymore. Rooms are very basic and quite used as can be seen by the gaps around the doors. AC worked well and the rooms were clean. All inclusive included meals and drinks. The food was buffet and very repetitive and was pretty low quality food in general. Drinks were local alcohol varieties, but suggest to avoid the wine, and the beer was safest. The resort appeared to have a lot of large tour groups from Eastern European countries. We were constantly pressed for purchasing spa treatments or add-on trips while sitting around the pools. We did try massages and they were quite refreshing. Pedicure was not worth the time or money. The glass bottom boat trip to the reef was not really worth the time. There was an onsite clinic, which seems useful for this type of a resort. The kids had fun, but we probably won't go back.

Not 4 star in my opinion

Really disappointed with this hotel. It was really run down, very basic and outdated rooms. No kids channels either. The staff had very little English and were not very pleasant to deal with. The only good thing was our kids enjoyed all the water slides and pools.

Terrible food

Rooms were very basic - definitely not 5 star! Food was disgusting - same food for lunch and dinner everyday. No fresh juices or any fresh fruit other than bananas We ended up going to other hotels to eat our lunch and dinner.

You can enjoy your stay if you are well prepared

Be prepared to get the a good experience. The administration is not very well organized. After the email confirmation I received from expedia, I called the hotel 3 times and asked them for an email confirmation from their side. Despite all of that I had hard time in the check in: it was late after midnight, 4 staff trying to check us in and the process was more than one hour!! First, the telephone number I called was their main office in Cairo, the staff at the park did not have record of my booking. Luckily my phone records the telephone conversation and I had to make them listen to the phone calls I had made with their cairo office to confirm my booking. So they settled the matter quickly and gave me a nice room! My advice: 1- Pay Directly to Expedia & do not take the "pay at the hotel option", the American Experess I used while booking online didn't work on their machine, it was simply declined; luckily I had a visa card too. also the conversion rate they made to the room rate from US$ to Egyptian Pound was high, when converted back to US$ in my credit card's bank I ended up paying 5% extra. In addition, this will make the expedia reward points wait for weeks to be reflected in your account. 2- Call the hotel on both numbers at Cairo office & Sharm El Sheikh, and make sure you know the name of the person taking your call and ask for a confirmation email from hotel. 3- Hotel Taxi is unreliable, we reserved a car for airport in advance but it came 30 minutes late!

Nice Resort for Families

The hotel facilities, food, and rooms are great. Checking in was a bad experience for me as the reception staff (M.Y.) I got wasn't aware of making reservations on Expedia. First he wanted to charge my credit card instead of Expedia's provided card number, I had to ask him to show me the Expedia reservation voucher to prove it. Secondly, he had us wait for about an hour until he charged the Expedia number (the hotel's wireless credit card machine wasn't working well). He refused to let us go to our room and settle the charges later (it was 4 pm when we arrived). Because I spoke English and Arabic, I was able to overhear staff conversations which were always geared around flirting and talking about customers. The hotel management needs to train their employees well. they will probably do better with female life guards. Restaurant staff (and supervisors) were great.

Impeccable service

It was an excellent choice for me and my family, our holiday was filled with fun and hardly any worries. Even when my son fell ill with a fever, the hotel doctor was very professional and efficient. Definitely recommend it to any family or anyone looking to have fun.

Great hotel for families with kids

We went to this hotel a few days before new year, and stayed until 5th Jan. Boy can they throw a New Years party!!!! A banquet with every cuisine you can imagine: Indian, Chinese, Middle Eastern, English and Russian food all delicious. The polite friendly staff are very attentive and helpful. Very clean hotel, great entertainment every day and night with the kids animation team that teach dances to the kids. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Only down part is room decoration is a bit plain, but the rooms are cleaned up to 2 times a day with fresh towels and towels for the sun beds. Outside most of the hotel rooms are swimming pools, then there are around 14 other swimming pools with an array of slides and water playgrounds. I would advise going for the all inclusive, breakfast lunch and dinner are very fresh and tasty, and it will keep the kids full!! I would definitely go again!

Great Hotel for Families with Kids

Relax on a lounger whilst your kids play in one of the many pools or on the slides. All ages of children catered for and a great kids club too. Huge choice of nice food, no long queues and easy to find a table. Great staff and well managed. We would all go back!

Great hotel for family holiday

Loved this hotel and cant wait to go back! The staff made our holiday more enjoyable, all very friendly and helpful too many to mention by name! The rooms were big and very clean, new towels and plenty water everyday. The grounds are very neat and clean. We loved the slides, plenty to please everyone. The food was reasonable good, not posh restaurant but we found something decent to eat every meal (even 2 fussy teenagers) plenty fresh pizzas, salad and loads more. People go on about the spa/excursion sales people bothering you but a firm no thanks is all that is needed and they soon leave you alone.

Un seul point négatif ,la chambre lui a été refusée jusqu'à ce qu'ils lui ont demandé de rajouter une somme dès son arrivée alors qu'elle n'était pas mentionnée sur la réservation.

تجربه ممتازه واستقبال رائع

Zeer nette en mooie kamers, leuk aquapark met tal van glijbanen. Jammer dat het personeel niet zo vriendelijk was (met uitzondering van sommigen die wel vriendelijk waren natuurlijk) jammer dat het eten absoluut niet lekker was en er bijna elke dag hetzelfde aanbod was ... verder een prettige vakantie gehad.

فندق ممتاز لكن بدون شاطئ

انها الرحلة الثانية فى اكوا بلو استلام الغرف كان سريعا و موقع الفندق جيد فى بداية المدينة فى منطقة حيوية الغرفة جيدة مناسبة و مريحة لاسرة 4افراد النظافة ممتازة و الاكوا رائعة للاطفال و الشباب و الطعام متنوع و يرضى جميع الاذواق خاصة الركن الهندى اكثر من رائع لكن المشكلة فى الفندق عدم وجود شاطئ فخلال اسبوع انتقلنا الى ثلاث شواطئ مختلفة فى شاطئ الباتروس كان متوسط و شاطئ سيرين كان جيد لكن بدون بار مشروبات و بعيد جدا و شاطئ الخيمة كان مريع و سئ جدا اشبه بالشواطئ العامة

היינו 3 חברים במלון, פארק מים ענק עם מלא מגלשות מים ממש כיף חיים. הכל על בסיס הכל כלול בכל מקום אוכל ושתייה. מגוון רחב של אוכל בחדרי אוכל. דוכנים של גלידות קרפים ועוד. צוות נחמד מאוד ומקום נקי

الاستقبال سريع والغرفه عائليه بخمسة اسره واسعه ونظيفة ومطله على المسبح الاكوا جدا رائعه للصغار والكبار وهي الافضل في شرم الشيخ وقد لاتحتاج الخروج من الفندق ... العيب فقط بمستوى الطعام في الافطار والعشاء دون المتوسط .. فندق يستحق التجربه

Fantastiskt vattenland som vi upplevde väldigt gästvänligt!! Tillgång till två vattenland som man kunde gå emellan. Bra mat trevliga små restauranger, fina och fräscha hotellrum.

الفندق جميل في وسط خليج نعمه اخذنا غرفه عند الاكوبارك بس عيبهابعيده عن الرسيبشن والفطور عادي والمسبح عند الرسيبشن مزدحم مسبح الاكوبارك اجمل وانظف عند عمل التشيك ان اخروني تقريبا 3 ساعات وبعد المجادله والصراخ استلمنا الغرف فيه معامله خاصه للسايح الاجنبي عن الخليجي
