The staff made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in the door. Our room was perfect for the few days we were spending in the city. Parking was convenient and restaurants were easily accessible. It was also nice to return from a long day in the city to a kitchenette with drinks and snacks. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I booked Pestana for a two night stay and let me tell you it was fabulous. We have already started planning our next vacation and planning to make Pestana Park Avenue Hotel apart of it. This place was very clean and it has an unusually refreshing scent that you can smell even before entering the building. We loved it!

From the time my husband and I walked in we felt welcomed. The staff shared all the wonderful things to do locally. Our room was clean, smelled amazing and the final touch was the robe & slippers! What a wonderful and comforting atmosphere at Pestana. The view from our room was stunning!

Hello my stay was wonderful i wasn't sure aboutthe area that i chose but i have to say it was very pleasant and the hotel was very comfortable clean i would recommend this hotel to my co- workers thanks again for the stay at the pestana

It was excelent

The property is conveniently located but the staff was inconsistent in offering five-star service. The bathroom was far too small and the soap dispensers did not work. The VIP perks were not offered.

Everything was great! Bed was comfortable, shower was amazing, coffee machine was a nice touch. We loved it.

Great hotel with friendly staff!

The Pestana was the perfect hotel for our one-night stay in the city! It’s walking distance from all the places we wanted to explore and the hotel itself was beautiful. Bagels and coffee in the morning on our way out was perfect and the staff was super friendly. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay. The small number of rooms on each floor was nice and kept noise to a minimum. I also enjoyed the coffee and bagels in the morning.

Pestana in June

When you walk in, the scent is inviting. Staff was very helpful with our requests. Room was clean and nice, but smaller than we thought. Location was great and the continental breakfast was a plus. We would definitely book again on our next visit.

Perfect for a solo business trip (if you're small)

Pestana Park Avenue was a lovely boutique hotel experience! The room was extremely small (expected for New York) but well-organized and chic. Excellent lighting and everything felt very bespoke. Croissants in the morning (better than expected!) were a real highlight!

All the guys at the front door are very helpful and gentle. Miss Judith, the manager, was always doing her best to fulfill all requests with much professionalism and courtesy. The hotel is well-located, and the rooms are clean. The shower is perfect, and the soap is next level. I got an upgrade to a city view, bigger room for free! I will definitely be back! Great weekend getaway!

Great hotel for a short stay in the city. Close to NY Library and subway stations. Room is small but comfortable and quiet. Staff are super nice and they have free coffee downstairs all day.

The thermostat in my room was broken and the 90-degree heat wouldn’t turn off. The staff at first gave excuses (“we’re transitioning from winter heating —> summer cooling”). They then realized the condition was unlivable and tried to fix it. And after too long waiting, they finally moved me to another room. The kicker was I had to pay the full ~$500 price booked through Orbitz for this bad night. I was told by staff to email the hotel manager, which I did. But her email bounced back! Too much effort for too much money and too little service.

Stayed for the first time in this hotel for a couple of days and i have no complains. Clean areas/ room & amazing staff, specially “Jobaldy” was his name if im not mistaken. (Curly hair name start w “JO”for sure. ) Loved it &Would stay again next time in nyc for sure. Amazing location too!

Great hotel in an excellent location to explore the city. Minutes to grand central and Bryant park metro access. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff always greeted us with a smile. Parking $40 per day right across the street (no in and out)

It is ideally located for all main attractions. Staff were really friendly. The room is small but the view was amazing. We were on the 25th floor with a balcony. The free pastries in the morning and coffee and water on tap was a lovely surprise.

The rooms are SUPER tiny, they say all the hotel rooms in NY are small, but these are exceptionally small. There is no room to even open your suitcase on the floor. You have to put it on the bed to open it up. There was no A/C the first night and had to be moved to a new room the next morning, which they were glad to do and it was a seamless transition. The "food credit" or breakfast is just bagels and croissants put out at 6:30 and first come first serve. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful.

The front desk staff was amazing. So friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable and the room was clean. The coffee machine was the greatest. A fresh brewed cup every time. Excellent location.

Great location. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. What I found interesting and unique for me is that there are no closets. Just hooks with hangers!

This is a quality place, with extremely friendly and helpful staff, and very well maintained. The one drawback is that many of the rooms are quite small by American standards, although not so much for Europeans. However, the layout was very intelligently arranged so that all the space is efficiently Used and two people really can do just fine, particularly if they are using the room mostly to sleep. The views on rooms that have them, are quite nice, be sure to ask for a higher level room. The morning coffee/tea/bagels/croissant was Just fine, with the European espresso machine, making a quality cup of coffee. The location is extremely convenient for Midtown in all directions. We would definitely return.

Very new and close to everything

We stayed for 3 nights in one of the superior rooms. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Parking was right across the street. Mid town new York is of course super walkable, can’t beat the location.

The hotel was adorable. It was a delightful boutique hotel and I very much enjoyed my stay. As a business traveler, there was not a desk in my room which would have been helpful but not a deal breaker; I would most definitely stay there again.

Anniversary Get away !

From the minute we set foot into this hotel - we were treated like royalty. Very professional & very friendly. The rooms are small, but very clean, everything you need is there and the location is perfect. We will be back !

Super Cute … BUT very small room

Excellent location. Very cute. HOWEVER, very small. To put into context, I was unable to fully open out my suitcase anywhere on the floor in the room. The designers maximized the space of the room, and the room is very cute. But very little space and I felt a bit catfished. Also super comfy bed. Also GREAT location - close to Bryant Pk., Grand Central and Times Sq.

Tiny gem

This is a very nice boutique hotel and exit location in New York City. However it is a very tiny hotel roOM. There was an ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with it and it was incredibly unique however I'm just accustomed to having a little more space. That is all. I would highly recommend this place because the staff members were absolutely delightful and amazing. They were willing to answer any questions and help you In any way.The hotel's location was amazing.

The space may be small but immaculately kept and well designed for the typical New York, smallish space. The gentleman checking me in was gracious, quick and hospitable though dealing with multiple people. It seemed all about facilitating your comfort. Well done!

AMAZING

It was AMAZING! I’m never going to any other hotel in nyc. The supervisor, Gregory, was the nicest, most helpful, kind, generous, etc person ever. I hope he sleeps really well every night lol. We had an amazing view of the Empire State Building to my surprise as well. The bathroom is everyone’s dream bathroom! The location in the city is also PERFECT.

This is our second time staying at the Pestana Park Ave. Its a lovely, quiet hotel with very nice staff. The rooms are small- after all it is NYC. Staff is very nice and accommodating, rooms are very clean and the bagels in the morning are much appreciated.

perfect to spend a few days in NY

We stayed at Pestana Park for 5 nights in May and it was an amazing choice to explore the city. The hotel itself was clean and the room had everything you need. It’s a short walk to Grand Central and midtown, but on a quiet and safe street. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting.

I stayed at Pestana while on a 4-night business trip, and would recommend it. The hotel staff are lovely and very helpful. The room was small (though average for NYC) but really perfectly designed so it didn't feel squashed for one person (though I'd probably pay a bit more for a bigger room if I'd been sharing the room). In particular, the shower was excellent and the bed was super comfy. It's close to the Public Library, 5th Ave, 34th St, Bryant Park and easily walkable to MOMA, Central Park, and the theatre district though thankfully not so near Times Sq etc that you are deluged in a sea of people and fast food places. I'd definitely recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in midtown.

This hotel is in a great location. It was very quiet and safe. Went for a weekend and the front desk staff were all very friendly, kind, and sweet. Will definitely stay again when we come back into the city.

The view was amazing!!! I’m from NYC but wow was seeing the Empire State Building from your bed incredible. The staff was amazing! Respectful, Attentive, and Helpful. Checking In and checking out was super easy. Overall would stay again, 8/10
