WiFi service was spotty. Everything else was excellent.

When we first checked in, I provided my feedback, as I was not very impressed with the Hotel infrastructure. On the next day, I was visited by the manager, Miss Rose, who was very polite and kind. She wanted to find out more why I had that impression. She listen to me, and addressed some of my concerns straightforward. I was very impressed by her approach and professionalism. On that same occasion, she kindly offered us a free pizza and a late checkout. Since then, we were very well treated, and everything ran smoothly. Hotel staff were also all very kind and polite. There is naturally room for improvement in regards to the hotel facilities, but overall I was very happy on how the manager and her staff dealt with my feedback. This is what is expected and I commend them for that. Thank you for working so hard to make our stay so pleasant. Hats off to you all:)

Believe what you see

Read through the reviews before booking the room and a few said that the hotel staff say that the hotel is full and you need to seek for refund etc. In my experience, this almost happened till I showed them the original receipt from Hotels.com! Waited about 20/30minutes JUST to check in. The staff, Arm, seemed unfriendly with the way he talk to us. The staffs were also gossiping in thai language after check in. Otherwise, the room was all good to me.

I had a 28 day stay here and the staff are so helpful, friendly, always smiling and happy to assist. I didn’t eat much in the hotel so I can’t comment however theories plenty of local options with short walks. I really enjoyed my stay at Patong Lodge. ขอบคุณ

I loved everything at Patong Lodge. From the moment we arrived to our departure nothing was a problem for the staff. Particularly enjoyed the vast array of food for brekky, the pool, the room. All was really great.

The hotel, staff, pool and bar were great. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay there, but the beds are incredibly hard and uncomfortable!

I like that it wasn't to expensive. Still close enough to everything and they make it convenient to check out any of the day programs/activities.

Everything was ok but no wifi in room, always had to go to lobby…

You have to leave your room key at the front desk any time you leave your room. You have to check our pool/beach towels at the front desk which must be returned by 7pm. Why not just charge the customer’s credit card if the towels aren’t brought back to the room instead? We had drainage issues in both the showers in our 2 bedroom hotel room. We requested they fix it 3 times and they told us to pull out the drain cover to alleviate the issues. Disgusting! The real issue was the drains needed to be cleaned. The room was outdated, dingy and old-nothing like the photos on their website. Very disappointed and frustrated by the service and condition of the room. I would definitely never stay here again. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. There are plenty of hotels nearby for the same cost that were much nicer. Location of this hotel was directly across the street from the beach. There are no sidewalks to get to local bars and restaurants, so I would not recommend staying here with small children. Also, this is a predominantly Russian tourist location and the Thais definitely cater to them. We felt a little discriminated against being American at this hotel. I requested late check out and the front staff tried to sell me on checking out at 4pm so I would have to pay extra. I told them 3 times I wanted to know how late I could stay without paying extra. Just seemed unprofessional for them to “up sell” me on staying longer so they could charge me.

Very polite staff. The accommodation was clean & comfortable but in need of maintenance in several areas. TV wasn't working in our room & some lights not working. Was not repaired while we were there. (5days) Swimming pools were great & clean. King beds were firm & we slept well. Breakfast included in price was adequate & fresh. Location is walking distance from beach & we enjoyed our stay there.

Nice hotel for price

Really nice hotel for the price, rooms modern and clean, pool is a decent size and we as a group of 4 had no issue with getting loungers. My only issue is no tea or coffee in rooms but there was 7/11 shop 1 min away. Would stop here again.

Good location to walk to the beach and nice restaurants. Staff was kind but very slow, check in took over an hour.

This hotel had a great atmosphere and pool area. It is around a 6 minute walk down to Patong Beach, but you will have to walk along the road in some places as the sidewalk disappears. Might be a struggle if in a wheelchair or with small children to walk. Hotel room was spacious with a nice deck. Room didnt have many decorations and the bed was rock hard. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Rooms cleaned every day and towels replaced with clean.Overall the hotel was very pleasent. Staff were friendly.

Lovely Hotel Out of the Way

I chose this hotel because it was on the outskirts of Patong so it was great that you didn't hear passing traffic (as it's away from the road) or any hooligans walking past etc. The pool/out door facilities were lovely though more deck chairs would be good as I was there during peak season and a lot of families would take up the hotel pool area. There was a huge selection at breakfast (mostly cooked) that would please everyone and there was a great atmosphere with the music and open air restaurant. The staff didn't speak as much English as at other hotels I've been to but enough to get by (it seems they know more Russian as there are lots of Russian guests). One very disappointing aspect was the WIFI only works in the lobby - not in the rooms!!! My room was acceptable, spacious and clean though smelled a bit mildewy which you soon don't notice. Another draw back is you can hear everything going on in the corridor out the front, and then everything being said on the neighbours balconies out the back. Overall I think it's a great hotel if you're not worried about using the internet much and if you're a heavy sleeper.

Good value hotel 5 minutes from Town

Patong Lodge Hotel is just a short Tuk Tuk ride from the town and beach. The staff are awesome - extremely friendly and helpful and their English (for most) is good . The facility is clean, rooms are adequate and serviced every day. The pool is clean and lovely to lay by with a cocktail or two in the afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend others to stay here. It's not the Sheraton but it IS Good value for money!

The staff were friendly. No WiFi in the rooms. Toilet blocked all the time and we asked for a quiet room and were put next to a building site of noise.

Hotel okay but wouldn't go back

Stayed 4 nights. Hotel was good, breakfast was alright - had a large variety of food to choose form. Short walk into Patong beach (5-10mins). Hotel staff quite rude and quick to tell you if you break something or take your key out of the hotel you get fined - hotel staff lost our room key and the receptionist yelled at me insisting we took it out of the hotel and that I would be fined - 10 minutes later she found it at the front desk. Kettle supplied in room but not tea or coffee for some reason? Our room was one of the nicer larger rooms air con was good, shower water pressure not so great. Bed quite firm (usual in thailand) and pillows too high - we called reception to have our pillows changed to thinner ones and they would only allow one more pillow and it was no thinner than the ones we already had. Pool area was good but pool opens at 10:00am so if you want to swim early in the morning you cannot. Pool bar (where you get towels from) only open from 11:00am. Mostly russians stay in this hotel. Overall had an okay experience, but wouldn't go back to this hotel.

nice hotel , nice people , very clean , very limited English ; but enough . Hot Breakfast foods served cold , especially eggs ; browned bottoms with runny whites and cold yolks . Internet so poor , it would be fair to say that it didn't exist . Buses park next to restaurant and leave engines running constantly , so that you can breathe nice fresh diesel fumes while eating all three meals . The hotel communicates with housekeeping via telephones placed in the hallways , and during the day they are constantly ringing . Trying to take a nap can be a challenge . It's a long walk to town and the fares are rigged . $6-7 each way . Lobby is not inviting , or comfortable . They charged 30 cents for a one minute local call .

What isn't mentioned is the fact that a vast majority of the guests are either Russian,Chinese or Japanese which at times could make you feel that us as English we were in the minority. They are catered for immensely and even the food special board was in Russian,wouldn't really recommend to anyone because of the facts stated

Good location, very good for the price

Hotel is in a good location if you want to stay in Patong but just out of the hustle and bustle. Staff were so helpful and friendly- (I noticed some rude visitors didn't get as nice a reception as us- see below comments). Booking outings was easy and I recommend you do it at the hotel for best prices and less hassle. Room is basic but more than sufficient- fantastic for the price. Pool is lovely and the food wasn't bad at all. Overall a great experience for the price I would definitely stay there again

12 night stay- basic accommodation but no complaints at all. Friendly staff, clean room, good location, awesome food. Can't wait to come back

Pain in Patong

Terrible! They were not aware of our booking and insisted we pay despite me providing evidence of my booking with my email confirmation. We did get a refund when a staff member checked their emails. They were rude and unhelpful. I asked for assistance booking a taxi car (not tuk tuk) to the airport. I was made to google the number as they didn't know a number. And then I was charged twice for a local phone call because I took too long ordering. My daughter (5) was charged for an adult buffet breakfast despite me pointing out the fact she had one bread roll and one juice.

Good hotel, good room

The room smelled a little of humidity but, once lived-in for a couple of days, it was fine. Shame WIFI is not included in the room rate, you can add-it for extra cost. It is also not available throughout hotel, only in selected areas. Staff was pleasant and helpful when engaged. Hotel restaurant a little lack luster with very simple food.

Basic, but not more!

The hotel is OK! A little old and run down at some areas, although there are newer parts of the hotel as well. The breakfast is basic, and mostly asian food. My biggest complaint is the internet. You had to pay for it in your room, and I think the prices was ridiculous high! And the internet it the public areas gives you a flashback to the first age of Internet, it was really, really slow.

I will repeat the visit in this hotel

鬧中取靜的地點，天氣好可以步行到市中心大街跟商場，週邊也有海灘， 唯獨就飯店鄰近山邊，不開空調地板就會潮濕

Todo estuvo bien, solo tuve un problema contraté un tour con ellos para ir al carnaval el cual debí recogerme y traerme de regreso para a la hora del regreso nunca apareció, tuve que tomar un taxi pagando más de lo que pague por el transporte, hablé con ellos y me dijeron que investigarían, se comunicaron nuevamente conmigo para decirme que seguían investigando pero ya no obtuve respuesta ni devolución de mi dinero, se que los tours son agencias aparte por eso sé que no es su culpa pero si deberían ejercer más presión en la investigación.

Alles ok, nur das Zimmer roch etwas muffig.

Horrible a fuire

C etait nul. Horrible.... j ai dû check out a 00h30 car apres 2 changement de chambre la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas. Et il y en a meme eu une qui a pris feu et y avait eu de la fumée partout dans la chambre.... L accueuil de journée sympa le soir pas tres amicale... plus jamais je ne remettrais les pied dans cet hotel

Altes Hotel mit teilweise renovierten Zimmern, aber wunderschöne Anlage mit sehr viel Bäumen und Sträuchern. Der Pool liegt wunderschön inmitten der Anlage und durch die Bäume gibt es sehr schöne natürlich beschattete Plätze. Liegestühle und Badetücher sind ausreichend vorhanden. Ein wenig störend, die angeblich typisch deutsche Angewohnheit (aber jetzt voll in russischer Hand) schon morgens Liegestühle mit Handtüchern zu reservieren um dann erst nach Stunden zu erscheinen.

Bon rapport qualité prix.employes très professionnels. Petit déjeuner moyen mais acceptable.le séjour de 28nuits s’est très bien passé.un petit bémol,un manque d’equipements Dans la chambre(style ,petite table,une chaise supplémentaire,penderie limitée).et sans oublier le manque de savoir vivre des chinois et autres russes (bruyants sales) mais ceci n’est pas la faute ni de l’hotel,ni du site hotels .com

Godt hotel og venligt personale

Dejligt sted, der ligger i den nordlige udkant af byen. Tæt nok på bylivet til at det ikke er et problem og langt nok fra bylivet til at man ikke bliver vækket af. Lækker pool og meget tæt på Kalim Beach, hvor man kan ligge rimeligt ugeneret. Morgenmaden var acceptabel uden at være prangende. Sengen var meget hård og ikke nogen udpræget fornøjelse at sove i.
