Beautiful property, friendly staff.. we had a great time at the resort, we had the room with partial view of the volcano, the hot springs were amazing, everything was great at the resort, will definitely stay again.
A wonderful location.
The property is fantastic, particularly the various pools with hot springs and the wonderful ambience, all of which are well-maintained. The dining options were commendable, and the chefs kindly adjusted the menu to accommodate my gluten restriction. Overall, it was a great hotel, although we were unable to see the volcano due to the cloudy weather during our two-day stay. The only downside was the heavy rain on both days, which was audible through the roof and made it difficult to sleep due to the noise from the nearby traffic.
Nice Amenities. Hot pools were amazing!
Not that busy hotel. good for relaxing
Great for short rainy stay in Arenal
Lovely place to stay in Arenal for a brief trip! Located in between La Fortuna and Arenal. Rained the whole time we were there so we missed a view of the volcano, but the pools were still quite nice (particularly the reserved pool for hotel guests). Impressed by the service when we requested an extra cot in our room; they set up a full bed in 5 minutes! Room itself was spacious with high ceilings and a large bathroom. Would recommend overall!
Everything was nice the hot pool customer service. We love this day.
Beautiful and clean hot springs. Very relaxing.
Nice friendly staff. Only complaint is that dining option is few and limited in service hours. Also, thermal pools also had rigid time restrictions. Other than that, wonderful resort. Would definitely go back!
Great
Clean and comfortable place to relax, yet nothing to explore around if you don’t take a trip somewhere
We went to celebrate our 30th anniversary and we had an incredibly good time. The service at the restaurant was very nice and the cleaning service was perfect (Selena was very helpful, great job). We recommend this wonderful place.
Out of the many places we've stayed both in the U.S. and abroad, this is one of the best. From the friendly and personable staff to our room, and the hot springs, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Should we return to La Fortuna, we'll definitely consider Paradise Hot Springs.
While there was an amazing view of the volcano and the hot springs was a nice touch, around the hotel was very dark at night and there wasn't many dining options to choose from. The breakfast however was excellent.
Best bed and shower
Spring baths were great
Very clean, nice bedroom, excellent staff
Hot springs view and food amazing.
Liked the hot springs pools, clean spacious rooms, view of volcano from the infinity pool.
This is a very clean place with good customer service and thoughtful touches. The best room they have is worth it with a direct view of Volcano Arenal and a private hot tub. Well done.
Great place to relax
The stay was great, the hot springs are amazing, the hotel is close to activities. The people are friendly, helpful and accommodating. We would like to see more vegan options for dining and a laundry service.
Beautiful, excellent service, high quality hot springs pools, perfect views of the volcano when clouds clear, cows, birds, donkeys, horses sometimes right by the rooms, convenient to all activities but quiet and felt remote, pools are drained each day, and stay open until 9:30 so you can relax before bed. Breakfast was great! Omelette station is included. Be sure to catch the happy hour on the viewing deck. Giant rooms especially for the price. This place surpassed all of our expectations. Only suggestion for improvement would be to post information in the rooms regarding the Wi-Fi password, hours of amenities and the code necessary to access the gym. If you get there late be sure to get that info at check in
Amazing 8 hot swimming pools, great bedroom, very luxury place. People are very kind and useful. Great great stay
Excellent! Love the good, the room and grounds! So pristine!
Nice place !

We loved the convenience of the hotel and our room was comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and the complimentary breakfast was great. We loved the thermal pools and got to relax after our days of hiking.
The property was beautiful with a direct view of Arenal Volcano. The rooms were updated and gorgeous. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The hot springs were relaxing and clean.
Excellent place
We had an amazing time celebrating a birthday. It was relaxing and exactly what we needed. The rooms were very comfortable. We hope to visit again.
It's a great place to enjoy a nice, quiet vacation. There are several hot springs ponds, and the new deck with the volcano view is amazing. Breakfast is amazing, with several options.
Excellent Hotel. Great pools and breakfast. They are making improvements, but they made sure not to bother anybody very well upgraded and managed. Will be back again 🙏
The staff was not helpful for the food . They need to be more helpful for the snacks after 8:00
The room is clean and cozy. The hot springs are well maintained and gave me paradise-like experience.
Nothing
Clean and relaxing
Hot springs were nice and beautiful property.
Perfect
Amazing stuff. Great luxurious place. Loved everything about it
Amazing stuff. Great luxurious place. Loved everything about it
The property was well-kept, and the staff was friendly and very helpful.
Great property and amazing hot springs to enjoy.
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff
The hotel stay was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and breakfast had a lot of options. Thermal pools were clean and had many options with different temperatures.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were very welcoming and communicative.
I really enjoyed this place. The hot springs are really nice. Not far from La Fortuna at all. My kid loved this place. The hot spring are just the right size and not overwhelming. Everything is so close to your room so you walk out and the hot springs are right there. It’s right across the street from Kalambu the water park so my kid loved that as well. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was great too.
Pura vida
The overall experience was excellent; from the check in process, to the room, to the staff, to the spa, to all of the pools, it was incredible. The level of cleanliness and upkeep of the pools and the grounds was top notch!
The hot spring pools were amazing!! The room was very comfortable and modern.
I loved the friendliness of the staff and breakfast! I was not able to enjoy the pool so much due to construction and renovation which was also around my room.
Small and nice property with family atmosphere
Nice but can be crowded
We had a nice 2-night stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good, especially breakfast. Parking is limited. Noon checkout is great and allows an early morning hike, etc before packing up. My only complaint was that the hot springs could get really crowded and loud. We attempted to use them one evening but there were just too many people and kids. I had the impression that this hotel allows passes for non-guests to use the springs, and I really wish they would not do that as it impacts the guests' use of the amenities.
We stayed here for 3 nights in early July and we loved our stay! There were not as many guests this time of year so it was always nice and quiet. The staff was super friendly, the rooms were nice and clean and the grounds were gorgeous. Because there was so much rain, we would do our activities in the morning and then come enjoy the hot springs once the weather got rainy. I was expecting there to be both pools and hot springs but the largest “pools” were 96 degrees Fahrenheit. I love hot tubs and loved exploring the different heated pools (hottest was 126 degrees Fahrenheit) and there were still two smaller ones that were cool and refreshing. We also got a couples Swedish massage while there and it was much needed! Highly recommend staying here!
The peace and quiet and the view was tremendous. The hot spring pools were excellent
This hotel is truly amazing. The staff is excellent, and the family-friendly atmosphere made our stay memorable. We had a party room just for our family to hang out at night, and the thermal pools were a hit with the kids. The spacious rooms and safety measures added to the overall positive experience
Hot springs "paradise"
The resort was immaculately clean. Service was five star plus. Helpful, accommodating and well located with hot springs on premises
We enjoyed having the hot springs available to us. The staff was very kind and attentive throughout our stay.
Loved the place. Friendly people
The staff was exceptional. Helpful, friendly, answered everything prompt. Truly outstanding
Our stay at Paradise Hot Springs was absolutely amazing! We loved the size of the property which was surrounded by empty land on all sides with Arenal volcano directly behind the property. The staff was attentive, rooms were spacious and the pools were always the perfect temperature to relax in. If you are staying in La Fortuna this hotel should be a top choice.
The Hot spring is very good and the view from the cafe is amazing. The room and bathroom were very clean and the staff is very friendly.
Excellent roomy room for the whole family, looking at the green below the volcano. Staff nice and very helpful. Front desk helpful but they need to let people know that they can do hanging bridge tour on their own as well and need to make people aware about free sight seeing opportunities. We rented a car and could have easily have done that.
The staff was great. The hotel policy was weak . The hot springs supposed to open at 9am by 11 we ignored the closed sign. 9 pm on the dot bar closes. Restaurant closes. Place left money on the table. Even the workers didn’t agree with that policy
Even though , there was construction going on around our rooms. It was a nice experience
Really cool resort with a super relaxing laid back environment!
Beautiful
Great stay everyone was friendly and felt safe with two girls
This small, boutique property is literally at the base of the Arenal volcano. It is on the main road like most of the other thermal springs hotels, which has easy access to restaurants to shopping. The breakfast was amazing and we looked forward to it every morning. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was huge and it included shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The thermal pools were Literally outside of every single hotel room door. They are drained every night cleaned and refilled every morning for cleanliness.
The view of Arenal with animals grazing in the pasture in the foreground was amazing. I loved having easy access to the hot spring pools (surrounded by well cared for and thought out flora and fauna) throughout the day and until 10 pm each night. Great free breakfast each morning and a short drive to most adventures you’d seek in La Fortuna area!
Great stay, hard working staff, location perfect.
Great location, cozy, some new construction makes it hard to nap, but only in one part of property and they are only making it better. Volcano view is amazing!!!
Good stay
Great hotel to stay at in La Fortuna. A beautiful view of the Volcano from the back patio. It’s a smaller hotel, with a few hot springs that we never spent any time in. This was a short trip. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was very tasty and they had ok iced lattes (they were just a bit watery). The dinner menu wasn’t super impressive, but most of the dinner menus we saw in Costa Rica are not.
Should have one private pool for guests
It was amazing and the hot springs pools were amazing. It was nice a quiet when we checked in. Looked around excited. Went to our beautiful rooms and changed into our bathing suits to relax in the hot springs. When we had gotten back 3 buses of day pass people had arrived and taken all the lounge, chairs and filled up the pools and bar. It was sad. They should change the children’s pool since it was the only one barely used or one of them to a guests only pool. We paid a lot of money so we wouldn’t be at an over run Baldi resort but it happened here anyways. Everything else was perfect and when they all left about 6 pm it got peaceful again. Unfortunately we had already made 6:30 reservations for the restaurant. We ate later the next day so we could have some of the zen we were looking for. Staff was amazing
Very rude property manager lady at front desk
Great Stay! Clean, quiet, comfortable.
Great Stay. Amazing view of the volcano. Close to town. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable! Breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed the local Costa Rican cuisine and fruits. The resort is smaller than I imagined. It would be nice if there were nature trails or areas to walk. But the smallness also has it's own charm as it was not crowded at all.
NA
The hotel is very quaint with beautiful vegetation and very peaceful; beautiful views of the Arenal. The staff were very friendly. It was quiet and clean and felt like we were away from everything yet it was very close to the center of town, which was great. My 2 suggestions would be to accommodate the rooms with a small dryer for clothing/bathing suits as there is no where to dry the bathing suits and due to the moisture and humidity of the area clothes do not dry overnight. Second, the thermal waters at night were colder than they should be, I understand that it was raining, however each different pool, which is supposed to have different heat temps, where all similarly cold. Someone should be making sure the waters remain the same temperature all thru out. Leo, kept the temps perfect during the day but they were reelatively cold at night. Other than this the food was great, accommodations where great and staff was lovely. Thank you
Beautiful location and hotel
The view was breathtaking. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
This property is located at the base of La Fortuna Volcano and is absolutely amazing. The hot Springs are an added bonus to the view. They also drain and clean the hot springs pools. Food is good and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay again.
Staff was friendly, food was excellent and rooms were clean.
Very nice place to stay. Excellent breakfast included. Nice volcano view from our hot tub.
The property is simply confortable with all the necessary amenities. I think itnwould be great to have a second washroom towards the coffee station area.
Great convenient location, small pools but great value
The hotel is good, and the location has a good view of the volcano, but the service is terrible, the staff is very rude. After we checked out we received a call from the reception called us to charge us 20 dollars because they couldn't find the shampoo bottle, after insisting so much that they would check that we had left it in the bathtub and to ask for the manager's contact She said that they would not charge us. We wrote to the manager to tell him what happened, who did not respond to the message, not even with an apology. After having paid $700 per night and generally poor service and the event at check-out, we do not recommend the Hotel.
Property is great. It was ver clean and my room had the perfect volcano view. I had the last villa in front the volcano. The villa had a spa that didn’t work though. It was more like a little pool. Very disappointing because I paid $1200 for 2 nights and they advertised a working spa in the room. If you don’t like bugs, this is not the place to go. There is about 40 different bug species in the bathroom and balcony at night. Food is ok. If you go out you can eat better. Most of the staff are very rude. They don’t even greet you. The worst part was the check out when Eilyn, one of the front desk staff called me to let me know that my friends staying at a different room had to pay $20x 2 for missing the conditioner/shampoo bottles in the room. Very unprofessional and ridiculous. 1. We were traveling together but we have a different room. 2. The bottles were in the room at a different location. 3. I don’t see the reason for calling a different person not responsible for that room or calling at all accusing us to steal 2 empty bottles. I use my own personal shampoo and conditioner. Don’t need to steal cheap products. We asked for the manager phone number and called him but he didn’t answered. They didn’t put the included bottle of wine and we didn’t said a word. Rooms and hot springs are great but poor costumer service and professionalism. This is by far the worst experience in my life and I travel a lot.
My stay was so relaxing. The staff were friendly. Convenience store in walking distance and love entertainment in the restaurant in the evening. Enjoyed my visit.
The people were friendly. Beautiful birds and saw other wildlife that my family enjoys seeing. Biggest downfall, pools close early.
Great place loves it!!
Nice property
Nice spacious comfortable rooms and great service
Good location walking distance to other hot springs like Baldi is next door. Great view of the volcano from up stair cafe restaurant which has great coffees. Great service, very friendly staff. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The only negative was the buffet breakfast was just mediocre.
Such a beautiful resort. Great service!
Safe and beautiful
Beautiful and safe resort. Free breakfast was awsome. There are hair dryers in room and everything you need. A store a few seconds away. Rooms are amazing and clean. Staff super helpful.
Would recommend!
This mine and my husbands first time traveling to Costa Rica and Paradise Hot Springs was hands down the best place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot springs and the room! The view is absolutely spectacular! Will definitely be staying there again!
This property really had a cozier and peaceful feel than what was pre imagined. Loved the private hot tub on our private balcony for a night soak. Room was large and perfectly cooled. Bathrooms are beautiful and huge. With their waterfall shower Hot spring pools were amazing l. Not crowded at all. All the different temperatures made relaxing easy as taking 10 steps. The view of the volcano is unobstructed and BEAUTIFUL
This is a small quiet property! Great access to many fabulous adventures and fantastic hot spring pools with a nice variety in water temperature. After a day of adventure I went to the spa for an over the top deep tissue massage!!! Would highly recommend!
The property was very clean and felt very safe. All the staff were very friendly.
Las habitaciones están excelentes, los acabados y la limpieza nos gustaron. En la recepción al hacer check in, no nos gustó el trato, fue un trato poco profesional y descuidado, esta fue nuestra primera impresión al ingresar
Had a great time!
Staff were not friendly. Not good value. Food was terrible
Loved this property. Small so was not overwhelming like the resort next door. It was very quiet and felt private. Staff was very helpful. Enjoyed the springs and food.
The room was gorgeous, comfortable, and had a view of the volcano and a farm from our oversized patio. The hot spring pools are amazing and the variety of things to see and do in the area is fantastic.
It’s a great property. The hot springs pools with various temperature was amazing. Limited vegetarian options for lunch and dinner. The portion size are extremely small for the price. Staff was great.
