Totally relaxing

The location was perfect right next to the beach and a 10 minute walk to supermarkets and a couple of restaurants. Amazing views from our large balcony. We chose to eat in the restaurant most nights as the view was so lovely as was the fresh seafood. Totally chilled location and the staff were all super lovely and friendly and can help you organise more personal tours. Highly recommend and would return.

Time travel to a stress free era

Nice lead back retro styled hotel, located straight on the beach. Sea view. Only 19 rooms, so very quiet. Good food. Friendly and helpful staff. Some restaurants and a supermarket nearby for convenience. Easy access to Vallee de Mai national park.

We had an excellent stay in the Palm Beach and it was just what we were looking for. You are literally seconds from a beach that we pretty much had to ourselves the whole time. The food was great - fresh tropical fruit and eggs for breakfast. They also do a great set evening meal of four courses for a reasonable price which included some excellent fish dishes. We took day trips to Anse Lazio and La Digue and the hotel arranged return transport for us to these places which was great and gave us the real VIP treatment! Staff were brilliant, Natasha and Jo-el and the brilliant waiter at dinner whose name escapes me – but he was so very wonderful (thanks). I cannot praise this place enough and would be sure to return if I am ever on Praslin again – which I hope I am one day. Brilliant job Palm Beach!!

Hotel Manager Natasha is a star

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 days at the Palm Beach Hotel, an interesting and pleasant locally owned and operated establishment. Comfortable room overlooking the beach and pool. There's not too much nearby but very reasonable and efficient on site car hire meant that was not an issue. Best of all the manager Natasha really went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Decent restaurant with fruit and fresh cooked eggs for breakfast.

The staff were amazing. They were super accommodating in helping us plan our trip. Also, the food was great and very affordable for the quality.

Old colonial style hotel

Lovely friendly atmosphere and the staff are always willing to help with directions, can offer advice about excursions, and have useful information about the Island. My suggestion would be to liven up the restaurant, and look into upgrading the quality and choice of breakfast options. Also update and increase the choice of piped music and maybe have some live music in the evenings and a bbq!

Fawlty Towers in Praslin

Palm Beach is a pleasant colonial-style building with large, comfortable rooms, a decent freshwater pool and located on a spot for beautiful sunsets. All of which is completely let down by the manager, who has seemingly caught some episodes of Fawlty Towers and mistaken it as a guide to hoteliers rather than a classic British sitcom. Around the hotel he marches, lording it over guests and staff alike, making you feel less like a paying customer than an interloper on his private estate. The hotel lacks wifi included in the room rate, happy and empowered staff, and a Cybil to keep its Basil in check.

We arrived at 7:15am and they are very nice to let us to check in earlier, but the room is just okay. The hotel location is good near airport, valle de mai and ferry

Lovely hotel on the beach

Made to feel very welcome. Staff very friendly. lovely room with a big bed.

Barely a 3 Star standard.

Not only was there no welcome drink there was no welcome at all. The management staff were generally disinterested and left junior staff to do the work. The TV was limited to 2 channels and Wi-fi was charged for, but access was slow and limited to reception area and only part of the restaurant.

Families can have great holidays here.

Very nice and quiet ... Palm Beach H - Grand Anse

This is is a very nice small hotel. In my view it was worth the money. The view was spectacular, but perhaps not unusual for Seychelles. The beach was beautiful, but not ideal. Elsewhere, I would have said "wow" but in Seychelles, I found myself disappointed by sinking pits of mud underwater in the beach. Also, while nice and quiet, the beach is so flat that I never reached a depth of of my armpits (and I think I went out nearly a half mile ... or so it felt). However, the staff is exceptional. While they may not seem over-the-top friendly, they know what they are doing and they pay attention. My GF had a very odd request at one meal, and by the next morning all the staff knew about it and it was ready for every subsequent meal, even though the menu is supposed to be fixed and not a-la-carte. If you are a "germa-phobe" you might not like it, because the tiny ants that are everywhere. They don't bite and are harmless, but (at least at the ground level) they are pervasive.

Clean Rooms, WiFi, No Cable TV

This was a very clean two star hotel. The rooms were clean and looked like they had been recently updated. All public areas were open air including the restaurant. The room had a very good AC. The TV was small and had only one channel in French. WiFi Internet was available in the room for a small fee.

Das Hotel ist ganz nett, allerdings sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Es liegt ein gewisser Renovierungsstau vor. Ansonsten Restaurant okay aber mehr auch. Ausgeh- und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten dind fußläufig erreichbar. Strand eignet sich nicht zum Schwimmen, aber tolle Sonnenuntergänge.

Allt var bra på Palm beach hotel: mycket vänlig och serviceinriktad personal. Rent och välordnat på både rummet och i allmänna utrymmen. Vi hade ingen bil men blev guidade runt ön av mycket sympatisk man som hotellet ordnade.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Palm Beach Hotel. Der Service war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück, welches am Tisch serviert wurde, ausgezeichnet. Von den Zimmern aus hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf das Meer, der Pool ist eingebettet in tropische Pflanzen. Auch die Nähe zu einem Ort mit einigen Take Aways und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten war sehr praktisch. Wir konnten direkt im Hotel ein Auto mieten und die Insel erkunden. Wir würden sofort wieder hier buchen!

Schöne Unterkunft mit schöner Lage! Das Hotel verkörpert noch den Kolonialstil von früher mit wirklichem Charme. Uns wurde von dem Personal immer herzlich begegnet und wir bekamen zahlreiche Tipps. Die Unterkunft liegt praktisch gelegen, um mit einem 5-10 minütigen Fußmarsch Grand Anse mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Banken, Restaurants und Take Aways zu erreichen. Ebenso liegt es nahe dem Nationalpark Vallée de Mai. Da eine Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Hotel liegt, kann man auch die örtlichen Busse nehmen. Eine wahre, abenteuerliche Erfahrung, die eine sehr günstiges Alternative zu einem Mietwagen ist. Anzumerken ist aber trotzdem, dass man gerade beim Frühstück Besuch von zahlreichen Tauben und anderen Vögeln hat. Zwar ist das schon süß, aber da sie auch vom Personal gefüttert werden, sind sie über die Zeit zahm geworden und fliegen auch mal auf den Tisch. Außerdem muss man immer gucken, wann man duscht. Es kann sein, wenn gerade sämtliche Gäste duschen oder geduscht haben, dass es nur begrenzt warmes Wasser gibt. Zwar sind die Duschen nie eiskalt, jedoch sollte man sich darauf einstellen, dass es etwas kühler werden kann als sonst, aber noch absolut aushaltbar ist.

nous avions la chambre 17 avec un balcon vue mer et soleil couchant. excellent. le personnel est très gentil et propose le diner en supplément. Très bon petit déjeuner.

Petit paradis

On a passé 5 jours incroyables au palm beach, merci à tout le personnel et Natasha pour leur gentillesse et leur accueil. L'hôtel est magnifique de style colonial avec un très bon rapport qualité / prix, chambre spacieuse confortable et très propre (chambre familiale pour 5 personnes), coup de coeur pour la vue depuis la chambre, la piscine même si elle est pas récente, les petits dejeunés, les kayaks à disposition, les couchés de soleils incroyables, la localisation sur la plage.

Hôtel de style colonial avec beaucoup de cachet. Facilement accessible en bus (arrêt devant l'hôtel). Chambres spacieuses et fonctionnelles avec balcon et vue sur la mer. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Bon accueil.

Très bon séjour à Palm Beach dans le cadre de notre lune de miel. Les + : hôtel en bord de mer, chambre avec vue magnifique sur mer, l'hôtesse d'accueil Natascha qui parlait très bien francais et nous a parfaitement conseillé. Les - (s'il faut en trouver): la chambre manquait de propreté à l'arrivée, le petit déjeuner (manque de jus de fruit et d'accompagnement type bacon ou jambon avec les oeufs)

Palm Beach hotell var fantastiskt. Personalen tog emot på ett personligt sätt och gav tips på utflykter och restauranger. Hotellet hade kolonialkänsla och vi trivdes utmärkt. Pool och strand utan trängsel. Svalt och skönt i lobby och restaurang pga genomdrag. Bästa hotellet på Seychellerna!

Petit-déjeuner excellent. Repas très moyen pour le tarif. Accès à la plage à améliorer. Souvent des feuilles dans la piscine.

The hotel is located a bit off the main areas for tourism and it might be an issue for someone who wants to be close to everything. However: the staff was absolutely fantastic in helping us with everything from planning how to best spend our time on Praslin and how to get around on the island. That being how to get around by bus or arranging rental cars for us. They also arranged any excursion we wanted or reservations. The restaurant is ok, but also very affordable compared to many other places in the Seychelles. It also offers some great views for the sunset. Standard on the rooms is fine but it really was the staff that made this stay memorable.

Un séjour très agréable, dans un hôtel avec une bonne rélation qualité / prix à Praslin. Au bord de mer, avec une piscine, chambre spacieuse, propre, petit déjeuner correct. Calme. Belle vue. Pas très loin de l'aéroport. Une promenade à pied de la banque, des petits supermarchés, des lieux d'intérêt (soit en voiture, en taxi, ou en bus - transport public). Le personnel est vraiment attentionné, aimable. Un grand merci !

Disponibilità e gentilezza

Nonostante un problema sulla prenotazione, per uno dei due giorni prenotati l'hotel era già al completo, lo staff ha proposto la soluzione collocandoci in un bellissimo appartamento non troppo lontano dall'hotel e ci ha comunque garantito l'utilizzo dei servizi dell'hotel, facendoci scegliere se stare entrambi i giorni nell'appartamento oppure farne uno in hotel e l'altro nell'appartamento. Inoltre lo staff si è prodigato per cercarci un alloggio presso l'isola di la dighe nei giorni successivi e ci ha consigliato il noleggio di un auto per andare a visitare l'isola in autonomia. In generale è un buon posto per soggiornare a Praslin, il mare è molto basso e se si vuole nuotare c'è la piscina dell'hotel. La colazione è molto buona. Consigliato

hotel un peu vieillissant, mais le cadre est charmant. Le personnel est très agréable, très serviable et sympathique. L'hotel ne donne pas sur la plus belle plage de l'ile mais c'est trèd calme et très reposant, et on peut profiter de la piscine.

Bra läge på strand

Enkelt, gammalt och slitet hotel i kolonialstil men därmed inte sagt dåligt. Vi trivdes jättebra men vill man ha lyx är detta inget altenativ men bra läge direkt på stranden på Grand Anses södra ände. Tidvatten gör stranden bred dagtid. Frukosten väldigt enkel med toast, flingor m mjölk, juice och en trevlig kock som gjorde ägg efter tycke o smak, man fick även en tallrik med frukt. Vi åt middag en kväll men just det vi åt var lite smaklöst. De hade menyer olika för varje kväll men även ala cart, ville man ha det sistnämda var väntan 1 timme, så det får planeras. Kort gångsträcka till byn, ta med ficklampa kvällstid för inga gatljus eller trottoarer. Vi kan varmt rekommedera Breeze restaurang som även hade Take away, cirka 4 min från hotell. Mycket hjälpsamma i receptionen med tips samt ordna hyrbil. Kan rekommenderas men förvänta er inget lyxhotel.

Séjour agréable

4 nuits dans cet hôtel. La bâtisse est magnifique . Le personnel est d.une gentillesse et la patronne Natacha est toujours prête à vous trouver des solutions . L.hotel est sur une plage mais effectivement la baignade n’est pas facile par contre vous pourrez admirer de magnifiques couchés de soleil de votre transat et profiter de la piscine. La nourriture est correcte. Il faudrait juste lui donner un petit coup de jeune dans le mobilier, repeindre les façades . Et modifier les draps un peu courts et les serviettes de toilette et de plage très usées . Mais je crois que Natacha met tout son cœur pour y arriver. Je recommande ce charmant endroitt.

Clean, small and tranquil hotel just next to the sea. Incredible sunset view. Extremely kind and good-hearted staff, and really nice and tasty breakfast. We missed a bit the small bottles of shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. The hotel is situated away from rush and tourist stuff, so you really can see and feel the vibes of Seychellian life just outside the hotel.

Style rétro et colonial.Le cadre est sympathique et l’hotel globalement correct.Le personnel est accueillant et très serviable particulièrement la gestionnaire Natacha qui est de bons conseils et très réactive.Bien que l’hôtel soit les pieds dans l’eau la plage n’est malheureusement pas adaptée à la baignade mais offre une vue splendide surtout au coucher de soleil.Les chambres bien que pas assez insonorisées sont vastes propres et bien équipées, avec tv sèche-cheveux.Des excursions et la location de voiture sont proposées par l’hôtel.LUne piscine propre et agréable.Le petit déjeuner est servi sous forme d’un’buffet avec du choix. Le restaurant face à la mer offre au quotidien un menu avec des plats locaux au choix.

Hotel ist etwas sanierungsbedürftig, im großen und ganzen aber in Ordnung, Frühstück war O.K. Aber recht ausgesucht. Personal ist super, Lage gut, Preis-Leistung für die Seychellen gut.

Schönes Hotel mit Charme

Es hat uns ( 80jährige Mutter und ihre beiden Töchter) außerordentlich gut gefallen hier. Wir hatten ein schönes geräumiges Zimmer und fanden vor allem den Service an Rezeption und beim Essen freundlich und familiär. Einfach zum Wohlfühlen . Herzlichen Dank nochmal für diese drei Tage im Paradies.

Chambre N° 8 spacieuse avec 1 grand lit et 3 lit 1 personnes avec vue mer et piscine située au 1 er étage . SDB avec baignoire, double vasque, bidet et toilettes. Draps et serviettes de toilette fournis. Possibilité d'obtenir des draps de plage. Ménage quotidien Petit déjeuner continental avec céréales, pains, gâteaux, crêpes, confiture, miel, omelette et assiettes de fruits frais servis à table. Boissons chaudes et jus de fruits. Personnel de l'hôtel à l'écoute : nous avions eu un souci à l'arrivée à l'aéroport de Praslin avec les bagages. Ils se sont renseignés pour savoir où ils en étaient et avons réceptionnés ensuite nos bagages directement à l'Hôtel. Possibilité de louer une voiture sur place. Take Away et quelques commerces à proximité.
