Loved the large room and the separate tub and walk in shower. Breakfast was included, they were next door to a great Spa (I recommend Irene) and they had a restaurant/bar attached. Perfect!

We loved staying here! Breakfast was wonderful. All staff members were warm and pleasant. It was very convenient having the restaurant within the hotel and we enjoyed many delicious dinners there. We would absolutely stay again!

Thi hotel had great large rooms with a comfy bed, a bathtub and a separate shower, and even a bidet! They were super helpful with laundry and transport, when we needed it. The breakfast was really good, they made us omelettes and poached eggs on different mornings. They also granted us early check in and late check out. The spa and restaurant were also great, I had 2 massages and we had a couple of really nice meals and drinks at the Canoe House

Wonderful!

We stayed at the Palau Central for one night before a liveaboard and one night on our return and both stays were terrific. The staff were absolutely fantastic - friendly and super efficient, couldn't have asked for better. The hotel is perfectly situated to walk to various restaurants etc, would definitely stay here again.

Twice the value at half the price for me

After checking out of an emotionally cold and expensive 5 star resort, I was so happy to have experienced Palau Central Hotel. The staff are accomodating genuinely, happy and friendly. Nothing is a problem. I really appreciated the courtesy drop offs to restaurants etc, the Canoe Bar adjoining the hotel is iconic and fun. Big comfy beds great air conditioning and big rooms too. Service and culture like this are winners . Thank you for restoring my faith and enhancing my holiday

Staff were very helpful

We liked our stay at Palau Central Hotel. Betty the cook made a mean omelet. The room was a little small but we liked the inroom safety deposit box. The hotel is next to Koror's hotspot- the Canoe Restaurant & Bar. They have a daily live band where the action is. Our room attendant was very nice & accommodating. There is a fee for airport transfer. The hotel is close to Koror's main shopping center where one can buy souvenirs, groceries, fresh produce, toiletries. They also have an outdoor pool. I recommend this hotel.

We arrived the morning of check-in and was able to store luggage at front desk and enjoy the pool and outdoor games while waiting for check-in. We were able to check in a few hours early which we really appreciated after long travel days. The staff are friendly, accommodating and the room and facilities are clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the chauffer service around Koror. We would highly recommend this hotel to future travelers and can't wait to stay here our next trip to Palau!

The staff was kind and helpful. Great restaurant downstairs. The rooms and bathrooms were updated. Central to downtown and restaurants. Access to tea and water all day. Great WiFi. Hotel provides transportation to nearby locations and was helpful with great tours. All staff were very friendly. Cons: not the close ocean view that we expected. Breakfast was the same every other day, but you can order off the buffet. Far from the ocean, but the hotel can take you there. Shower didn’t get hot, only warm.

Liking the food very much & service very helpful. Unique hospitality and leniency shared from workers allowing him to stay extra few hours with out charge before heading to airport. Dislike not seeing the pool view as booking room is in the corner, very short time to sight see the place. Place is beautiful!

Looks can be deceiving. Out in front was a kareokee party ar the Canoe House (which is attached). Once you walk into the hotel that you go loud vibe fades. The hotel has beautiful wood work and firstly class n service My husband was in the ER and they immediately checked me into my room, helped me deliver the bags and asked how they could help. Whether you have needs or not they are always asking how they can help. They have a shared car service for free. Meaning they will drive you anywhere around the island an in a van or car free. The morning breakfast is free and can also be turned into room service for a small amount. Same with the famous Canoe House and their food can also Ben room services for a small fee. Now we did meet another couple on the island who rented a car and said the parking here wasn’t so bad they left. I don’t know aa i only used the car service. He was so nice when i needed to ho get a prescription he dropped me at the hospital and waited with me. Great hotel and would stay again!

This hotel was super central in Koror and easily walkable to many dining options. Hotel breakfast was good and service was excellent. We found the staff to be super helpful with our questions and miscellaneous requests. Would happily stay here again

We stayed here for three nights before a 12-day dive trip, and again for one day prior to our flight out to Guam. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, they took such great care of us. The room was spotless, beds super comfortable…breakfast daily served downstairs. The adjoining Canoe House resto/bar was a great spot to have a drink and a bite. The staff here is lovely. They helped us with dinner reservations, transportations, and even car rental for a day. The location is perfect for getting out in Korror, and it’s still very quiet. Loved the view from our room of the pool and the island greenery. Really, this place is a gem in the heart of Korror, and we cannot recommend it enough. Hopefully, one day we’ll be back to Palau, and we’ll definitely stay here again! Sulang!

I cannot say enough good things about Palau Central Hotel - the staff were exceptional, the food was great, rooms are well-equipped and clean. The location is near shops and dining... you get to experience island culture and life! I am sure one can opt for one of the "resort hotels", but that's would be missing a whole lot of the experience in Palau, IMO.

The property is magnificent! Nice place to bring in the New Year. Very minimal issues at this location. Only gripe is the Orange juice at breakfast time isn’t refilled after it’s empty or close to becoming empty.

Very comfortable and great location

The staff at this hotel was very friendly and helpful. They were on time to pick us up at the airport and offered transportation to our diving liveaboard. The rooms was very spacious, clean and the bed was so comfortable!...a great place to recover from the long flights and relax. The pool is smaller than pictured but suffices and the view of the Rock Islands is perfect.

Clean and comfortable! GREAT FOOD! In walking distance to gift shops and grocery stores. Staff go above and beyond to assist you in parking your car and keeping you taken care of! This is a GREAT hotel!

Fantastic service! Excellent room! We needed a day room while waiting for our night fly from Koror. After booking, we requested an early check in, 8am, and a rental car. All was handled via email without any trouble. Also, our scuba live aboard call the day before and asked to have us picked up by the hotel shuttle. They were waiting for us as we arrived on the dock and took us straight to the hotel. All was ready when we arrived, including the car. We requested a ride to the airport that night and they took care of that too. The staff was happy to incredibly efficient in doing all that we asked. Room and amenities were great. Our highest recommendation! Our best stay in Palau! Thank you soooooo much!!

Clean comfortable accommodations in downtown Koror

Palau Central is a beautiful clean establishment. They can some of the most comfortable accommodations we experienced during our stay. Everything was immaculate and well maintained. The Canoe House was also a delicious place to eat. The only thing that would’ve made it better was if it had been locally owned and operated.

Nice clean modern hotel located in town.

The staff at Palau Central very helpful. Nice clean room with plenty of space and with a view of the lagoon. My flight didn’t leave until the afternoon so they extended my checkout time. If I were to return to Palau I would definitely stay here again.

the room is very good size. just need say a small sofa and night light in it. the breakfast can be upgraded though.

Best place if you are a diver

Hands down the place to stay if you are a diver , clean and comfortable and central to all restaurants and shops

More a business hotel than a resort, Palau Central is nonetheless a really nice place to stay on a vacation in Palau. My room was super comfortable. The bed and bedding were fantastic. Great shower. Nice safe and wi-fi. Great AC. Nice, little balcony. Mine (on the side of the building) faced up the main road but by turning to my left, I had a really nice view of the northernmost Rock Islands. (Rooms at the back of the hotel have that view directly). The hotel has a nice, if smallish, pool with a little bridge and waterfall set within an artificial lawn. Not fancy, but nice. Breakfast was pretty good. The attached restaurant is good, and sort of loud and fun. Location, in Koror, which is pretty spread out, is pretty central. (Note that many places will pick you up if you lack a car). The hotel located me a rental car for one day with less than an hour notice -- so good service there. Also by renting a car, my airport transport became complimentary, a nice surprise. Since all flights depart at night, you can remain in room until at least 8 p.m. for one-half rate for the day. I would definitely stay here again. One more thing: Palau is awesome.

Amazing staff, beautiful facilities, great location.

Some balconies face the road, which is not scenic. Other balconies face the river. However, The location is great. You are walking distance to good coffee, eclectic restaurants, local museums & some shopping. Staff is attentive and very good resources of helpfulness. Highly recommend before or after a live aboard.

In the middle of Koror

Great AC/ fan situation in the room. Great bathroom as well, easy stand alone shower and a Korean/ Japanese toilet. Staff was helpful and is easy to walk everywhere from the hotel.

Palau Central ....you got it all!

Palau Central Hotel is situated at an excellent location. Close to shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful view from our balcony. Breakfast was an array of different things and the menu changed every day. Here too, service was excellent. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Palau Centrak, for making our stay so oleasant!

Excellent hotel in Palau

We had an amazing experience at this hotel and would stay here again in a heartbeat! The room was clean and comfortable, the pool area was beautiful and relaxing, the breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety, the WiFi worked really well (we were worried about having reliable WiFi on a remote island), and the customer service was top notch. The location was also perfect - right on Main Street and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

A choice that cannot be omitted

Newly furnished, cozy hotel, very decent n helpful staff. Endless supplies of hot berverages in the cafe lounge, after four dive a day, help relaxing very much. Nice pizza in restaurant Canoe. overall things are perfect and will revisit again

Lovely boutique hotel

Fantastic people who really care about you and your trip. Very generous and helpful. Breakfast included, beds so comfortable and lovely bathroom and amenities. Small plunge pool and sun deck could do with more seating and shade options but overall very good stay.

Great find in Palau

Amazing find in Palau. Centrally located, spacious rooms, completely renovated boutique hotel. It's not by the beach, but if you are diving or doing day trips around the island, it's perfect. Great views from the pool facing rooms, especially on the top floor. Staff are so friendly and are very accommodating. Highly recommend

Lovely Hotel - Great Service

It was terrific - the service & room was amazing. Some renovations are still being completed but don't be concerned - it was still great.

Despite ongoing construction, was great

They were still constructing parts of the hotel (it's very new), but despite that, it was excellent. The rooms are big, with nice amenities (good bed and bathrooms), and the staff are great. They drive you where you need to go, very responsive (I emailed my flight a few hours before I arrived, but they picked me up at the airport), and they are nice. Rooms come with breakfast, which is basic but good, and their room service provider is good too. If you are allergic to dust, you might want to check that construction is done. Otherwise, highly recommended.

The ambiance was warm and welcoming. The staff and service was excellent, very friendly, helpful and personal. I would rate it "Excellent" all the way if it wasn't for the ongoing renovations. I'm sure the place would be exceptional after all the renovations are done. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to friends and family traveling to Koror.

Great hotel in downtown Koror

We stayed here for two nights before getting on a liveaboard. Service was amazing - responsive front desk, great breakfast (with cooked-to-order eggs), airport shuttle. Construction is still underway, but never got in our way or was noisy enough to disturb us. Internet was free, and as good as anywhere on the island (not a very high bar). Easy walking distance to several good restaurants. I'd definitely stay here again.

Fantastic couple of nights in Koror

We had a couple of nights after our liveaboard scuba trip. We booked the Palau Central Hotel. We were immediately greeted, given our key to a beautiful room overlooking the bay. The staff is incredibly nice, every need was met (loved the coffee, hot tea, and cookies always available in breakfast area. Construction is going on, but never disrupted our stay. I can't wait to go back and see the new additions!

Cozy hotel with amazingly attentive and friendly staff. The hotel is still under construction which is why I only gave it 3 stars for condition but the rooms are very comfortable. Great location as well. I'd stay here again

In room amenities are terrific. Toto washlet, clawfoot tub, Keurig. The rooms facing the back (views of the bay) are large and surprisingly quiet with respect to street noise- can’t hear the busy street at all. Hotel construction noise is an issue but the staff is helpful and will ask the workers to stop if the noise is disruptive. Airport transfer is a slow and expensive gimmick, but every hotel does it. The day before your flight out try renting a car at the hotel and dropping it at the airport- this is good value and allows for a tour of the waterfall and capital building on your own time.

Exceptional room amenities and lay out. Newly renovated. Comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was ok. Staff are way too nice. My flight was at 2am. The hotel offered me a room for showering after I check out at noon before I left for the airport. Truly appreciated! Still renovating so sometimes noise and dust were bothersome.

This hotel is under major innovation. It is hard to expect what this hotel looks like next year. You may book all kinds of tours from this hotel.

A PERFECT Place to stay

I have been to Palau three times and booked in three different hotels. I have found HOME. The hotel was completely under construction AND was still wonderful. I can't wait to see how much better it will be when it is finished. The breakfast buffet was GREAT including the staffs willingness to make whatever I wanted however I wanted it. There is Wifi IN THE ROOM (unheard of on the island). The staff is kind and courteous and will go out of their way to accommodate and make your stay the best. The rooms are spacious and clean and perfect for business (and personal) stay. I will not be staying anywhere else from now. Great value for the price!!!
