The best restaurant and waiter/waitress are so polite clean and good customer service
A property with potential
Our stay didn’t start well. We tried to contact the resort to say we would be checking in late, but no one answered at the number listed on Hotels.com. A Filipino friend was able to contact them through Facebook messenger. We learned they had no record of our reservation. I used the chat feature on Hotels.com app to find out what we should do. They were also unable to contact the property. I then spoke to the reservation support person who gave us some options. One was to pay the price of the reservation and they would book another place. I didn’t like this option because we couldn’t check the possible places because I only had my phone and I was busy chatting with the online support. We decided to go to the resort and see what we could work out. We were able to get the room we had booked at the price we wanted. The resort is understaffed, but the staff they do have is friendly and helpful. The place looks like it is still trying to recover from a major typhoon from a few years ago. Our first room was deluxe garden view. There were a few problems: no towels, tv remote didn’t work, the bathtub wouldn’t hold water because of a bad stopper, the bulb on the veranda was burnt out. We called the front desk and things were fixed quickly. The next day we moved to an ocean view room. It was much nicer and it turned out to be a free upgrade. The infinity pool is very nice. This could be a very good resort if the company has the resources to get everything fixed.
The property needs better customer service. I booked for my daughter who is currently on her summer vacation. She was with her cousins, so we booked additional rooms because the resort refused them to walk around or even check out the place. Even if they walk to the side of the swimming pool, someone will follow them and bring a piece of paper to try to collect payments. The resort collected other fees upon checkout, saying it was for an upgrade. Please stay away from this resort. They're ripped off. The resort itself is terrible—tiny swimming pool and bugs all over.
We chose family suite, the couch soo dirty, there' a terrace but wont provide tables and chairs if u want room service..i've stayed here before no improvement sa room, locks and the breakfast food, what happened, no longer buffet?!!..ok lang ala carte but longganisa of jollibbee is much yummier than what they served...never ever will i come.back to that resort!!!
Will definitely go back
Will definitely go back
May we request for rebooking of our schedule. When we arrived at the resort on December 20, 2021 at 11pm due to 3x delayed of air flight it is not operational. The resort has no prior notice or advise that they were not operating due to typhhon affected. Hoping that Expedia could help us to rebook our schedule since it was not use and it is paid already.
Just OKAY
I am very satisfied with how friendly and courteous the staff members are but I am not happy with the room condition. The air conditioning was so bad. I did ask for electric fan but they do not have any and ended up not having a good night sleep. The bathroom drain are clogged too causing the water to flood the floor and bathtub. Food was great, simple yet tasty.
It can be improved!
The surroundings is very dirty and untidy. The bed linens and towels looks very old and dirty. Breakfast choices in the buffet must be improved including hygiene. Staff must be trained in terms of customer service and attention to details.
First of all I have 2 room for three days, I was so disappointed for what I paid, my reservation was in each room one double , and one twin, which what I paid online, when I checked in was given me two twin, of course I did complain to receptionist, and she said no available room, to be given to me, this is a big mistake, every day I ask for towel hand towels coffee some creamers some towels are brown colors already means too old, that’s why I ask again sometimes, Room service are very poor, this all my experience on this hotel,
STEER AWAY FROM THIS RESORT
BEWARE AND BE CAREFUL WITH THIS RESORT FOR CHARGING ITEMS YOU DID NOT CONSUME. I AM A DISGRUNTLED CUSTOMER. IT STARTED WITH WAITING FOR OVER 2 HOURS FOR OUR ROOM TO BE AVAILABLE. NEXT DAY WHEN CHECKING OUT THEY CHARGED US FOR A BOTTLED WATER WE NEVER TOOK AND WHEN WAITING FOR THEM TO SORT OUT, I DECIDED TO PAY IT AS WE STILL HAVE A LONG TRIP AHEAD OF US UNTIL THE WOMAN SAID WE BETTER JUST PAY FOR IT. THIS MADE ME MAD THAT I REFUSE TO PAY INSTEAD. A GOOD MAN AT RECEPTION, WHO SERVED US THE DAY BEFORE, ADVISED THE WOMAN AT RECEPTION TO DISREGARD THE CHARGE. THERE ARE A LOT OF GOOD ACCOMMODATIONS IN THE AFEA. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESORT 😡😡😡
Below average
Hotel was not exactly what was represented in the pictures online. Rooms were dated, dusty, and had unprofessional looking ad-on lighting installed. The “beach” was terrible. The water was laden with seaweed and not swim able. The staff were friendly and accommodating. If not for them, the hotel would have been a bust.
Okay but not great
Room we stayed in was dated however hotel in general was nice, staff also didn't apply happy hour when we used the bar and we had to ask them to do this
Eating out side, not good parking, hard to find, small beach
Terrible service. Charge for everything. Far from anywhere. Very dirty room
Good trip
It was good
They charge 900php for an airport transfer when a cab or any other transportation is half that price. 50% of your food order from outside the resort so you’re forced to eat their overpriced bad restaurant food (club sandwich hard meat, pizza with cardboard dough, fettuccine with 4 little shrimp, adobo fried rice with adobo on a teeny tiny sauce dish to mix to the fried rice, etc!). Breakfast was free for 2 so our son (our 3rd confirmed companion) was 600php with basically last night’s leftover meat dishes and powdered drinks! Not to mention the loud music and groups all over that they host activities for. Was not relaxing at all. The beach area had so much washed up trashed on the side during low tide, specially on the concrete walkway out to the ocean (yuck it stunk!). That concrete walkway is also not complete done and breaking apart towards the end with metal wires. The pool on their main photo is not accessible to just anyone but only to guest who booked that building behind it. The cabana cushions, pillows, and towels were dirty and dinghy. Oh and not to mention the snake at the walkway to our room! Only great thing about the place are the friendly staff. Playing off as a 4 star resort with 4 star resort prices for a 2 star hotel!!!
Rooms are very tired
The beaches and restaurant were reasonably good. Staff were good. The rooms are clean but really tired and could do with a lick of paint. We stayed on 2 different occasions during our hilidays, first stayed in 2 double rooms, 2nd stayed in a family suite and could see a lot of paint coming off on furniture. For the price we paid per room, it was not up to standard. Then we requested if we could check out 3 hours later due to our late flight back, they could not accommodate us in the same room so they had to rebook us in a different smaller room and we had to pay full price for this. Very disappointing. Their security was very good and restaurant staff were excellent. the infinity pool highly recommended.
Staff by far the best on this place. they were very friendly and helpful. Worse staff managers, I try to talk to them but they were always on break, facilities are not well maintained. beautiful paradise but they allow it to follow apart. (bathroom malfunctions, pictures on the web does not match what we experienced.
Room 308 spa villa, is NOTHING like the pictures, maybe 10yrs ago, save your money go somewhere else
The facilities are quite good. The restaurant food is quite poor especially the dinners. At one stage five of the silver breakfast bowls were empty at the same time. the breakfast options are limited. The restaurant/pool service is hit and miss. We were at one of the secondary pool and there was nobody serving. Security called them and we ordered a drink. I asked for a menu and the waiter took 20 minutes to deliver it. It was on the bar 10 meters away so I had already gotten it myself. I ordered a spa room but the spa was unusable for 2 of the 6 days because there was a lot a leaf litter on the netting above the outside area and the rain washed in loads of brown water that covered the walls, floor and spa. Waste of money there. The parasailing was good but the island hopping with BBQ lunch was not worth the price. Lastly, we ordered a car for the day to go into Cebu City and the driver hit on my girlfriend asking her for her mobile number.
Relaxing but lacking in service
The resort is very nice but service is lacking. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the city which is nice but they don't seem to push or offer any activities unless you go ask. Very nice if you want to relax and just unwind but not if you want to party. Food was okay but seems to cater more toward Asian taste. Rooms have wall mounted A/C units which do the job but can be loud and never seem to turn off. The room also had a small step down into the bathroom which we did not notice till I walked in and took an awkward step. My wife tripped on it coming out of the bathroom. Not a big deal but a little heads up would have been nice. We had an awesome ocean view room but then they had a few outside events that set up right outside and were loud and it would have been nice to know that it was happening. Raffy in the dining area was the only one that was friendly and attentive. Everyone else you have to flag down to get them to come over. Massage in their spa was excellent but the building needed some attention to the courtyard leading to the rooms. I got bitten on the top of my feet and it seems like a very small bite till the next day when it starts to itch like crazy. Not sure where or what bit me but other than that no issues.
It was amazing experience!! Will definetely coming back!!!
Great view
Front desk just asked for my deposit and didn't explain Breakfast times and where. I didn't know that I bought my package with breakfast included so I assume I didn't have one. On my second day I asked the Front desk about breakfast. She said I should have received a Voucher for it since my stay comes with breakfast. Transportation going out is a problem. No help from staff to call Grab or taxi. Have to use the Hotel service transport and it is very expensive. My room has mold all over the ceiling of the bathroom. I requested for another room and at first the Front desk was hesitant and will just send Housekeeping to clean it. Housekeeping came and I guess it's too much to clean so I was given another room, much cooler and better. I'm happy with their quick action to solve the problem.
Old resort; aircon is old; loud and let run 24 hours to stay in a cool room. I could not open the window since there is no fly screen. I paid AU$ 198 for sea view but not worth for money,
relax
nice relaxing time with nice pools and beach
The place was nice but not a child friendly. They have 4 pools, 3 never allows kids 7 years old down. Their kiddie pool was big but up to waistline of a child as in flat. My children are advance class in swimming and practicing for competition already, how can a child enjoy a water that short? It would be okay if they at least observe the child first before saying no. Their rude lifeguard will just say, complain it to the management. A big points off... Breakfast buffet has less options of food, beach was beautiful but ones you step in the under ground water, no good.
Staff were excellent, but this hotel lacks property management. It was much better 2 years ago when run by the Japanese owner. What I didn’t like was the room, which was located on the second floor in mass housing, shower head does not fix to the wall without falling off, fridge doesn’t work, no wifi in the room, boat trips were extremely overpriced (9k peso for 2 people is ridiculous!). Also everyday during peak Japanese holiday season the hotel let the entire village in with bus loads of locals and noise forcing guests to have breakfast in a smaller area further away. Hotel staff refuse to order a taxi leaving us stranded and paying 200 peso for pregnant wife to take a trike to the local mall. Clearly management are putting profits ahead of customer service. I used to love this hotel but now I probably won’t go back.
Great but far!
Is really far from everything. Even though is really nice is not convenient if you want to explore.
The room had free water and cookies :) Free buffet breakfast as well. Good selection of cocktails. Nice clean sand. Cool walk out bridge
Terrible
This was by far my worst experience. The hotel is located out of town they refuse to call a taxi. And insist on you using their ride service at 900 peso while a taxi cost aproximately 1/3 that amount. The hotel smelled of sewage. The room was dirty and their garden is really just a patch of lawn
Pros: The pool was great when the weather cooperated. The staff was nice and polite. Good live band singers (the guy has a very nice voice and speaks good English, female’s English wasn’t as clear) Cons: The gym (or lack there of) The food was a bit too salty and selection was limited. (Stick to the fettuccine and deep fried squid head, they are probably the only acceptable dishes there) The room’s facilities looked much nicer in the picture. Our outdoor jacuzzi and sunbathe area was dirty. I found a lizard inside our room on the front door...
Not what the pictures show
Some of the reviews talk about dirty rooms, etc. Our room was actually very clean. The resort is somewhat older, and there are some upgrades that could be made, but for the most part it was comfortable. I had two, very big, problems. First - The beach is not a beach. It is just a bit of sand, with muddy rocky water, no waves and scum floating in it. Kind of a pool that needs a good cleaning. Second - Trying to get somewhere else is hard, since they are located off of the beaten path and they do not have a steady flow of taxis coming in, so you are at their mercy to try and go have a dinner out elsewhere. They will have a car for you, but be prepared to pay a lot for it. One way to go about 3 miles was going to cost us as much as coming all the way in from Cebu City Center, and they would not call a taxi for us, so we opted to eat our meals there, which were - at best - mediocre, and the prices were a bit high for the area. You should take your own car if you want to explore any other options. Would I recommend to a friend or family member? Nope.
I had booked via Expedia and indicated 3 adults in each of my 2 rooms. When I arrived, the resort gave me one room with a double bed and a twin and another room with two twin beds. I asked if there was another room available and was told no. The resort provided a third bed in the second room but as my arrival was well past midnight, I found that this hassle at check in was unnecessary as I did indicate 3 adults on my reservation. The resort is also isolated, you would need to take a tricycle to the nearest city centre. The hotel staff is not allowed to call taxis on your behalf and only offers their relatively expensive car service. We worked around this by asking our tour operators to drop us off in Cordova where we would have dinner and then use Grab to go home. Otherwise, the staff and resort were great. I would recommend to my family and friends.
The big turn off was that they refuse to call you a taxi and ask that you take a hotel shuttle which is triple the price of a meter taxi or walk about a half mile to catch a tricycle. Also the security guard was pretty rude to us. Other than that the hotel is pretty good value for money in comparison with other Mactan Island hotels.
This was our second visit to the property. Great service by the staff, good accommodations, and was a great dive trip.
The location was not near restaurant and massage shop-takes 15mins by car. Impossible to catch a public taxi and expensive hotel taxi-more than 3times(at least 650- 900 peso) The taste of food in Restaurant inside of resort including breakfast is terrible. Water quality of Private inside beach is dirty. Nobody go inside and I neither. We called 3 times to get towel because There was no towel in the room when we checked in. The staff was really slow. Pressure of shower was really really weak. Takes more than 30mins to clean whole body and hair. The air conditioner might be maken in 1980. Can not sleep if you turn on the aircon beacuase of horrible noise. The resort is big, beautiful with blue colour, peaceful but you do need to improve.
A bit far from everything. Not too many transportation options. You pay a lot just to go somewhere even close by.
A decent resort with a great pool with a sea view
This hotel is in a rather secluded part of Mactan Island, which has its advantages and disadvantages. The "beach" which is a dammed off stretch of water with some sand, it's too shallow to swim in but it is quite beautiful when you look at it from the beach side pool. It's dammed off for good reason, as there is quite a lot of marine traffic nearby and there is also a swamp next to the beach (which is hidden well by vegitation. Don't book here if you want to swim in the sea, but the pool overlooking the beach is great. There's not much in terms of tourist friendly shopping or dining nearby, but there are malls near enough by taxi (alaya mall and SM mall come to mind), but the food coming from the restaurant was amazing and not too expensive, so it could be a lot worse. Speaking of taxis, getting a good one is a pain. Getting the hotel to get you one is a rip-off, so you need to book one by grab car(basically asian Uber, and the only way to get a tourist friendly taxi), but this is difficult as the hotel is in a secluded location. Give yourself 40 minutes to hail a taxi with the app. As with basically all hotels in cebu, including 5 stars like raddison, maintenance is a low point. It's clean, but could be maintained a lot better. There is also a diving shop with classes, as well as a desk to book experiences in the resort.
Pleasantly surprised at this property, for the money charged I thought it is a top quality resort by Philippine standards Great staff, nice spacious rooms with good hot water in the shower. Great amenities, plenty to do at the property. Dive shop is very professional. I will return here one day.
Slow at front desk, not enough information in the room. Staff weren’t friendly especially at front desk
Lovely Resort, Lousy Food
Resort is good quality for the money - nice pool by the ocean with separate kids pool a bit far from the main area and the seaside pool. Ocean view room was worth teh extra monay as garden view has not even a sliver of an ocean view and can be quite far from teh bar, pool and dining area. Speaking of which, the food is mefdiocre at best and the dining room service is some of the worst I've experienced anywhere in the Philippines - 20 minutes to get a menu, 30 for a glass of water, and over an hour for food to arrive at all and definitely not worth the wait. Crispy pata so overcooked it was inedible, 40 minutes to be told they were out of the pizza we ordered, wilted lettuce in the salad and unfortunately, the resort is at the end of the road so there's nowhere else close to go for edible food. It's a shame because this could be a wonderful find if the food was even up to the usual low standards elsewhere but it isn't. And that's sad.
Nice resort with good views of sea, sunrise/sunset
Check in was not welcoming, made us wait till exactly 2pm even though room was ready. Did not give any advice unless asked on the amenities in the resort. Staff and service are friendly.
It is okay resort for a short stay. Maybe other rooms are fine but not impressed with our room little bit old and not even a garbage can we have to request to have one.
On the beach. Lobby is nice. But rooms are older and not updated. Bathrooms are also older. The gym they list has minimal and old equipment. About an hour away from the airport with all the traffic. Resort isn't within walking distance of any major roads with optional food. Wanted local (street food) but it was at least a half hour walk.
Horrible
Ocean with trash, main pool closed whole week. Housekeeping clean up came till 3pm or after, no refill on shampoos, towels, soaps. Did not felt safe at all.
Decent hotel on the beach
Overall was a good experience for the family. Though the pricing gets up there when you account for food and other things. You see, I live here in PH with my filipina wife. I know how much things cost locally and I noticed most things are 2-3x the amount. Over all though it was well worth it. Most of the staff were on point and there. Granted there were about 3 staff members who will avoid you "Too busy" I guess? Check out was pretty strait forward. Front desk when we first got there was not too helpful in finding stuff. Make sure if you need a lighter to have the service stop at a sari sari store to get one. I as well noticed that the overall view of the hotel seemed a bit misleading. They show a large sandy privet beach. It is privet however it feels a lil isolated and it cut off by a large cement divider. I'm assuming to keep the fishing boats out however it feels and looks a bit tacky. Once you get past that though "rent a boat or going scuba/snorkling." You will realize the ocean is really nice. Granted it was a bit pricey to rent the boat. Though my one dive was not too bad nor was my wife going snorkling. Though we had her sister as a ride along in the boat and that was way overcharged. We where three on the boat. Now i'm not in anyway talking bad about the boat/ the dive/snorkle/ sea workers. They were all highly professional. Just that price tag for the one ride along nudges me the wrong way. Over all it was a great trip and we had 7 in the group.
Stained white bedsheets, main pool closed 2 weeks was not notified until less than 24hrs of booking. Says ocean view got sm island view! Main view was putrid waste at the Ocean's Edge. Outdated resort from the 90's and was the most expensive i used in Philippines! Toilet seat broke!
this resort is very nice with it's own dive shop on site. The staff is somewhat accommodating, but it's a bit out of the way and if you plan on touring out of the resort it can be a challenge and a bit costly.
Poor
More expensive than others locally but not worth the extra. Old dated tired resort better places to stay nearby
Relaxing place good for family
Having great time .
Not a great experience
We barely entered the room and the toilet was working properly. They sent people to fix it but they never did. We spent 9 days their and had to use a bucket to flux the toilet. They never offered ghe room to be changed even though I requested it. I requested transportation to the local mall and it took forever for the driver to show up. For three days we try ordering a certain food from the menu and they didn’t have it, which forced us to go out to eat or order delivery. Their staff need some serious training, I paid for my drinks with large bill and it took almost 20 minutes for the girl to come back with change and even then she didn’t have the correct change but that was later returned to my room. When they start a task they keep on stoping along the way and talking to each other which the customer is the one who has to wait. It is not all bad, few of the staff were very good and attentive to the job they do, but most are really in need to of training. The location is not the greatest but at least the are is ok. They really need to take better care of the lagoon, there is trash in the water and around it. Upon checking out they were not able to provide any documentation that I was clear, all they said was our system is down and we will send you an email. They do have some great people working there, but they surely need to train their staff better because they rent doing a great job.
We stayed 1 night. Checked in late and checked out early so don’t have a lot to comment on. Facilities were nice, food was good. Our room did have a wet floor from the toilet. Maybe condensation??
Overall ok
Overall the resort was good. The taxi ride to the resort was an hour trip and it cost 300 php, what I didnt like is my trip back was same trip and it cost 700 php, I feel like the hotel and the taxi service has a deal because the taxi driver would not reveal his meter to me and said that it is a straight fee but due to the language barrier i could not explain to him the cost to get there. This upset me because the resort would not allow me to get my own cab and they had to call it in for me, so if you ever stay at this resort make sure you take care of your own transportation if you care to save a few bucks. It's not really a lot of money with the currency exchange rate but the principal of the thing.
No beach- is sand next to lagune
Excellent staff, despite remodel, property is old and cannot rise above 3 * No beach , despite pics, no ocean swimming, wifi is daily problem. Buffets are over priced and due to people eating, always out of best items. Juices are too watered down on dispensers. Of the pools, only one is good, the pool with bar seating in water has needed paint for years according to older reviews. Staff is excellent, however that does not overcome the old wornout property. Had i read the reviews or NOT booked thru Expedia, i would not have booked there period.
Nice hotel
Staff are really friendly and accommodating. Easy check in and out.
Nice place to stay
Nice hotel by the beach with 4 pools, restaurant service in the afternoon was very sdlow
Except the room cleanliness, room service and mosquitoes the experience is OK. The reception and view outside is good.
When you go there, they will give you nice service and they’re friendly. But the resort is too far. If you want to stay at the hotel and enjoy the feciality, that’s your best choose, but if you want to go to Cebu or arrange other plans, I hope you won’t love to live there. Food is delicious and it’s good to take a rest there for few days.
Disappointing experience
- Should put in booking sites their rules such as deposit of 1000pesos, no debit cards for the deposit. Not all uses credit cards and ATMs are nowhere near - booking confirmation says 1 queen size bed but in actual 2 single size beds - no towels inside, we had to call the front desk - during dinner we waited for our food for about an hour. That is so bad especially when you're hungry! Because of the above issues I am not recommending this to anyone.
Gorgeous Resort! Amazing Staff
Paradise & Amazing Staff! I traveled solo here to stay for 3 days, I was nervous after reading some of the reviews and why they only have a 3 star rating. This place was so beautiful, clean, organized, with genuinely welcoming staff, who were all so helpful. Being a solo traveler I always become hesitant to stay at places with low security. This resort is secluded and sits back off the road, you have to give your room number and get clearance from the 24/7 guard at the entrance. I really appreciated the high security features. My room was beautiful, I highly recommend the ocean front view. The food has a large menu with western, traditional, exotic food and drinks. The pools, private beech and peer were also so nice to have, every part of the hotel I enjoyed. I would definitely stay here again and recommend a visit to see Cebu! It was a unforgettable vacation
Not what you would expect
For the price I paid, the room is very small, the shower arm hanger is loose and the height of the shower is so low, maybe good for a person that’s 4 feet high max. Out of the nine calls I made to reception from my room, two were answered otherwise it will keep ringing and no one answers. The breakfast was ok. No free shuttle bus from airport and the wanted to charge 900 PHP to be picked up, so we took a taxi for half that price. I asked for water from reception and the delivered two tiny bottles so I asked for more but I was told that that was max I can have per day. No shops nearby otherwise I would have and bought water. So overall, no I would not stay here again.
Paradise on earth so easy to relax and be completely transformed
Paradise
Excellent resort for value only thing is not much western food on offer
Very Poor, Fake, Hotel
There is no beach, it's concrete with 1cm of sand, no Wi-Fi at all, the food is poor, the air con is like a steam train in your room, your 20 minutes drive to a shop, no local bars or food, over priced, over regulated, over stated pictures create a false image. I was in the spa villa, supposed to be one of the best rooms, simply not worth the money, better value else where for sure.
Stay in Pacific Cebu Resort
I wish I had read the reviews before I booked. Most of the comments held true i.e. isolated location, faded appearance, beach more like a swamp. Nonetheless, most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Syene in the restaurant.
Awesome cazeboo anniversary dinner
Waiter Joe needs so much thanks for put together decorations, a private band, dinner, I brought him a cake and flowers , he had us picked up in a golf cart and taken to our romantic dinner at the cazeboo, as we approach he turned on the lights and my wife was speechless, Thanks Joe for making our first anniversary so special Ray Darling
My family and I had a relaxing stay around New Year's Day.
Staff needs to be trained they never get orders right. Food was not that good and over priced
One short night's stay. Everything okay. Scenery beautiful
Our rooms weren’t cleaned properly on the second day. We had to call housekeeping to ask for our soap, shampoo and other eccentials. The resort literally lacks towels that is what the staff said when we asked for bath towels. The breakfast buffet ran out of food. The pools were dirty and we can literally see the dirt floating on the murky water. They lack restaurant staff as well as kitchen staff that is why it takes so long to serve us during meal times. The place has a lot of potential if it were managed more efficiently.
We got checked in late. Our room was not available when we get there.
Overall, it was enjoyable!
Toilets and pool need upgrades. But the bed was really comfy! We also enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. Breakfast needs improvement.
amazing staff
I had planned a romantic weekend, asked for violet flowers great bouquet was waiting, matching pillows and towels shaped like 2 swans kissing..... and balloons to .... gf was speechless. room was great, resort well looked after. food room for improvement but mainly aimed for the Asian market, but enough choice for westerners. A big thank you to all the staff all helpful and very polite. we will return.
Absolutely terrible
This place should not even be on the Expedia website it's so bad. I have never stayed at such a roach infested place. I was so unhappy with my stay I checked out a day early and left to another hotel.
Nice Hotel Close to the Beach
Nice hotel close to the beach, but far from everything else. If you want peace and quite and relaxation away from the city this is your hotel. Internet on our unit is slow conplained about it, but still the same after 3 days of stay.Housekeeping took awhile to clean our room request. Staff was friendly though.
Not bad but could be way better
The hotel had a corporate group event over the weekend. It was a big group taking over the restaurant and with very noisy animations. Not exactly relaxing and we came to relax over the weekend! They should tell it in advance to the guests coming. The main pool and various other things need renovation but decent value for money. Food is average but the staff is lovely.
Very nice good food good food and friendly waitstaff. Good internet service

amazing, fabulous, great place, friendly staff. only that the management charged if we order delivery from outside fastfood not nice, previously there wasnt any charges.
It could be nice
The grounds of the hotel are promising. The rooms are not on par. Overall it could be nice but when we stayed there, there was a party with 2000 (!) people attending and the grounds of the resort looked more like a market / fair than an hotel.
Nice resort if you plan on staying in the resort.
It's a nice resort with decent pools and a decent beach. The rooms are nice and comfortable, and the staff is friendly. But it's a bit far from anything if you want to get out and do non resort stuff. During the day there are trikes waiting outside the front gate who you can haggle to get a decent price to get you at least to where you can grab a cab if you need to go much farther than lapu lapu. The poolside bar was always closed and the wifi may aswell have not even existed.
Unsure
I was happy with the room for the good promo price I paid. However the bathroom is mouldy. Bring insect repellent as there is many mosquitos. The pool is nice but could do with some maintenance. The bed is comfortable and air works. The food menu is not good and I disliked the meals. Taxis will charge you an extra 100 pesos to go to and from the resort. However one taxi driver tried to charge me 500 pesos to airport. Make sure they put the meter on. its only a 200 peso fare to the airport. Plus the extra 100. WiFi is useless
Hotel looks better on website
Very disappointed with stay waiting for evening meal 40 minutes. On Sunday was event in hotel so I was asked move hotel guests were treated bad won't book again
Recommend
I liked this place. Staff and food are great. Would stay again. Definitely worth the extra for a villa.
Resort for the local community
For S$140 including taxes for such a resort is not value for money. Similar to numerous reviews already submitted, been a yr and main pool is still rundown and unpainted and doesn't look like it will be done in the near future. Resort allows a Daily Usage rate to its local community so even with its own corner off "beach" prepared for tons of locals. Very basic room but fortunately relatively clean but do not have the comforts of a true resort. Will not stay again personally
Steff excellent, and so nice in every way. Resort very isolated. Drinks over priced. I have had beer cheaper in 5* hotels in the Philippines. Also paid 60 pesos for a Sprite with a price tag of 12 pesos printed on it. Kids pool needs the floor and sides re-coated. My kids got the skin on their feet and knees scraped off from the rough pool coating.
Suggest to provide more transport options to city, car service was relatively expensive. Renewal of hotel facilities, such as pool bottom, some room furnishing, food services, etc.
The hotel pictures don't show reality..
Nice place but see was dirty, pool was small and like a kids pool.. we didn't swim.. breakfast wasn't good..
OK - value for money
1) Slow Wifi. 2) Too much noise from Company Outings/parties during daytime (day visitors only). 3) Poor selection of wines in the restaurant.
The Ocean View room is excellent
We really enjoyed our stay, Staff and property excellent. I highly recommend staying in one of the Ocean view rooms. We stayed in #121, 2nd floor (with a corner balcony) best view of all rooms in my opinion. We enjoyed using the pools. Great place to get away from everything.
Needs more selection of foods and dessert also the breakfast Disappointed at night when some guest doing grilling their food on the table and became very smokey while we have our dinner too
The beach is dirty our room has a lot of ants and cacrouch our toilet clogged up every time we used it,
Food
ALL The food was gross and my whole family got food poisoning. Breakfast lunch and dinner was not good. A place more for Koreans or chinese.
2.5 star rating
The girl at the reception desk who checked us in had no smile on her face. There's only one restaurant in the resort, the food is expensive, the breakfast has not many food choices. The WiFi connection was every bad, it was cutting off, went on and off during our stay, the internet was very very slow, painfully slow.
Good staff and very polite management and Room very clean.
Deserves a better review from guests!
We made arrangements to stay here and were hesitant as to what to expect - they have 3 pools and only one pool is in need of painting and repairs but 2 excellent pools - staff were always attentive and cleaning pools and grounds. Breakfast was adequate and lots of choice for all tastes. Our room was very spacious and a/c was working VERY well. Shower in room needs some attention especially to accommodate taller guests. Short tricycle ride or taxi ride away from EVERYthing. Waterfront is non impressive once the tide goes out.WIFI is very good.We decided to be adventuresome and eat offsite for dinner (Lantaw Floating Native Restaurant - would recommend for sure!) No problem getting to alternate dining options if you want.We would stay here again.
Lovely resort to unwind for a few days
I shared a oceanview room with my son and his girlfiend. Convenient few steps to the pool, restaurant, beach and jetty. The two youngsters did the PADI diving course in the dedicated resort diving pool and had their open water dives off the end of the jetty. Could not have been more convenient. I spent my time in the other pool (needs to be resurfaced but was very clean) and made good use of the pool bar. A variety of Phillopino and western food available on the menu with a buffet breakfast included. A wonderful 3.5 hr visit to the spa left me relaxed and rejuvenated. Staff were friendly and smiling at all times
Newly renovated
The hotel is newly renovated so the rooms and facilities are nice and clean. If you can, try not to book in rooms 732-736 as these are very far from the lobby and the rest of the facilities. The pool by the beach needs repainting though.
☹️
The showers were cold. The rooms had a lot of bugs in them. The breakfast was not good. The overall appearance of the resort was very poor. The water out of the towel was reddish brown Cost of drinks were very high
