Great place, better than home away from home!
Great experience
The property is gorgeous! Loved my room and amenities!
Very welcoming, luxurious and clean, the staff are all very hospitable and kind and the service provided is excellent, highly recommended
Excellent and friendly staff who always went the extra mile. The layout of the hotel is bizarre and made it very easy to get lost! Need to be aware that no alcohol is served on site and there are separate swimming pools and spa facilities for men and women.
Awsome
Very good service, clean room, nice and helpful staff
The staff at reception were particularly very helpful in my case, they took care of my elderly parents
It was an okay place
It’s was an average place to stay in
Excellent in every way I highly recommend it
quiet and close to the airport but far from downtown
Everyone was super nice and helpful. The free breakfast buffet was full of so many delicious foods. I loved that they had hookah in the restaurant in the hotel.
The hotel is good But the problem is the amount of noise caused by celebrations until late at night. Lack of sufficient cleaning materials such as toilet
Nice Hotel
Staff is excellent but there is no gem
Very nice and friendly staff. Good price
Room was not ready at check in. Had us wait for over an hour
Best employees
Excellent team and kindness and service of the people, wonderful property, very clean. Would advise to have additional ironing boards in the hotel as this hotel is also a wedding venue, and there was not enough irons for the guests at times.
✌️
Good
Close to the airport, clean and very friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing and had variety of options.
Good hotel
Very good
It was very clean and fancy place
Absolutely gorgeous and decadent
Friendly staff
.
The staff is very generous and helpful. The room is clean and big. The hotel in general is very good. Hope you add replacements for the boycott products such as coca cola
So clean
Staff are professionals
Didn’t give me what I booked on Expedia And the room was really bad
Excellent Staff & Service.
The hotel is a wonderful resort just outside of Amman. There isn't much to do around the resort but there should be plenty to keep you occupied until you want to head into Amman or another part of Jordan. There's a cafe, restaurant, and spa all with excellent service!
Excellent stay.
The staff were extremely helpful & pleasant. It was very clean & safe. The breakfast was amazing (that comes with the room). I would definitely stay here again. The location is great from airport, but a little further from town. Thanks for a great stay!
Good breakfast. Stayed just one night, nothing to complain about, but palatial gold and marble decor slightly too much for my taste.
It was a nice and clean room and the staff was nice
Overpriced but close to the airport
Only booked this hotel due to proximity to the airport with secure parking. The rooms were very small and bed rather uncomfortable (two singles pushed together with barely any mattress topper. The restaurant was very expensive but there isn’t much around so no other option if you arrive late.
One the best safest places you could stay in , staff are absolutely amazing .
beautiful hotel with lovely staff
Nice place- good value-easy check in with.helpul management.
So so hotel
Staff was not friendly and at times rude. There DO NOT have an airport shuttle service. The simply call a taxi and charge double the fee for making the arrangement. Not worth the 💰 ney.
The staffs are very friendly. The breakfast choices are alot and yummy. The hotel is clean and room is spacious. Nice location near to airport.
Its style. Location. Quite. Excellent customer service.
Very welcoming staff really professional.
I recommend you look elsewhere..
It’s difficult to describe how bizarre this stay was. Check in was fine and Porter was very helpful showing us the room. Once you get past the grand entrance and reception, the accommodation area is very dated and in need of a refurb. The staff in the cafe and restaurant are rude, and also tried to charge us for unopened water that we didn’t ask for. They then gave me the wrong change. The gym was closed. The biggest issue we had was that they accommodated us in a room directly above a wedding which had loud music and heavy bass - not what you need when you have an early flight. When I called reception all that they could say was that ‘it should finish around midnight’ - 2 hours later. No compensation offered. By a significant margin, the worst hotel of the 5 that we stayed in during our visit to Jordan.
Opal hotel is a good place to stay.
Very comfortable and well-equipped hotel. Food and service was amazing. The hotel iis only a short drive from Amman international airport and Amman itself. This was a good introduction to Jordan.
Beautiful hotel within close proximity to the airport and city. Very friendly staff, great rooms and good breakfast.
We stayed for one night. It was ok not a great experience. The room we got was unfortunately one of their defective rooms. The room card would not work so we could not get in by ourselves. Someone from the reception let us in. One of the bathroom drainage was not working so it flooded after a shower. Other than these the stay was good.
Good one day trip
Hotel is Great , location is remote from city and on Airport Road. After midnight all closed
Could clearly hear bass from bars in the room until 11:30 pm. Breakfast is ok, but coffee pot was empty. Asked waiter 3 times and still no coffee before finishing breakfast . Window is fake, facing an elevator shaft
Ver friendly staff .quiet place and great food
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable hotel and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the staff. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, providing the perfect sanctuary after a long day of exploring the city. The amenities were top-notch, including a luxurious spa where I indulged in a rejuvenating massage. The hotel's dining options were exceptional, offering a diverse array of delicious dishes that satisfied my palate. What truly sets this hotel apart is the unparalleled level of service. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. I can't wait to return to this hotel for another unforgettable experience! Highly recommended to anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable stay.
Superior 5-star experience
The suhoor buffet was amazing. The room was so spacious and amazing. We did not have a view per se as the bedroom windows had shutters on them. The security at the entrance prior to check-in was intense, but that is a given in this current climate. Kids loved it, and that’s my benchmark. We will stay again when we return to Amman.
Fabulous hotel and amazing staff
Such a bizarre experience
This hotel looks grand and opulent from the exterior, but the rooms are a different story. We stayed in a 2 bed, 2 bath family suite for 2 nights. One bathroom door only opened halfway. The balcony doors would not close. The front door was badly damaged and had clearly been broken down before. The heat did not work, nor did the phones. But worst of all - everyone there was rude, miserable, and gave wrong information. Breakfast is included but in reality if you’re staying during Ramadan, it is not. The 24/7 room service doesn’t exist, nor does anything on the menu they have. It’s in the middle of nowhere. There is no advantage staying at this hotel. Choose elsewhere.
Amazing hotel, and spectacular experiencie, it didn't have a gym though, for he rest it was awsome.
We were not made welcome
Our flight was prevented from landing by over three hours due to fog. When we checked in we were made to feel it was our fault that the taxi driver had a long wait and then gave up. Since we had been asked for our flight number we had assumed they would be keeping an eye on the flight and we had no way of making contact while on the plane. The receptionist was the opposite of welcoming and we were required to pay for the original taxi in addition to the one we used. The hotel was fine but we will never stay there again and certainly don't recommend it due to the attitude of the reception staff
Great food and service.
Nice
Excellent experience
Had a very pleasant stay at Opal. The rooms are very spacious and is serviced daily to a high standard - very clean! The spa services are also great. The staff at Opal are very lovely, kind and helpful. Great customer service. The hotel is also in a good location in terms of access to motorways and easy commute. Would highly recommend Opal.
Great staff, and great environment.
Good
This location checks all the squares. Great staff, good parking, excellent wifi. The bed was so comfortable that I slept through my alarm! Will absolutely stay again.
I believe this hotel specializes in parties/weddings, therefore be prepared for loud festivities. Staff has always been courteous to me. Rooms are clean - Recommendations: add washcloths in the bathroom, add early check-in option on the website, add an Airport shuttle service.
Very beautiful property all services are available and it is easily accessible to the main road. Very private and secure location absolutely loved my stay.
Convenient to the airport.
Beautiful hotel near the airport
Really worth it to stay at Hotel Opal when arriving or departing from the airport. The drive is only 25 mins and the hotel has a ton of amenities. The rooms are fantastic (clean, comfortable) and the bed was super comfortable. I was upgraded to a suite and was impressed by the size and layout - this would be great for a family of four or five (parents would have their own bedroom + bathroom) or even two couples or two “snorers” so they would have their own rooms.
We enjoyed our stay at Opal very much. The front desk staff were so helpful, especially Ismail. We had some luggage mishaps and he called and spoke to the airport staff and assured us that everything would be okay. He was also helpful with recommendations. Very nice breakfast buffet and great dinner options. We would definitely stay here again!
Absolutely loved our stay at Opal Hotel! We booked the night because our flight arrived at 2 am and this hotel was 15 minutes away from the airport. What a pleasant surprise this place was!? The reception staff was amazing, even the guys that opened the gate were all so friendly. The rooms were clean, fully stocked with soft drinks and very spacious. Next morning we had an unbelievable breakfast we’re every single thing we ate was out of this world. The staff kept explaining to us all the items offered in the buffet and personally bring us things to try. Wonderful staff and experience and we cannot wait to come back again. Special thanks to Luai Tamimi from the front desk, he went out of his way to help us to make our stay comfortable and assure our family was happy, he truly is a great example of Jordanian hospitality and culture.
Had a great time. Breakfast was wonderful.
Like five star everything perfect
Friendly staff and great property ,
Great property and service. Definitely need some sort of transportation to get around in the area. The room I got (1king) was very small for one person, I wouldnt have picked it for a couple or more but I loved the balcony. Breakfast deserves the highest praise, it's absolutely incredible and you cannot miss it in your stay. Rooms could also use some upgrading but they were overrall pretty great. Hoping to stay here soon again!
Horrible staff!
Luxurious and top level service!
From the gate to the room, everything left us in awe. We gasped at the sight of the venue and we’re greeted with only the best quality of service. Aside from staff, the room was exactly what we needed and provided a home feel in a hotel. Would recommend anyone flying in to stay here at least one night and experience royalty treatment. Please stay for breakfast, enjoy a selection like no other!
Overall, I like it so much you facility good staff, clean and nice
Free nice hotel
This was the best hotel we stayed in in Jordan. Lovely and kind staff. Helpful in every way getting transportation and any other need. My sister became ill and staff asked about and checked on her condition for 4 days. Very compassionate. Immaculate hotel and quiet! I highly recommend this hotel, Michael.
I absolutely love this place. I left a terrible tent hotel in Wadi Rum and checked back in here for the second time because I knew I would be very comfortable and everything would be luxurious and clean. The staff here is amazing. You will feel like you are a king or queen. My original review of this hotel stands. The rooms are gorgeous and updated. Everything smells amazing and they are constantly cleaning. The only downside is, I would not hire the drivers because they were overcharge you for what you get book your own tours.
I am currently staying at the Opal Hotel in Amman and let me say I wish I could take the staff of this hotel and hire them for myself. Nothing is too much to ask! They are the kindest most service centered people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment I landed and called saying I needed transportation I was treated like a queen. I don't remember the guys name at the front desk that originally assisted me and sent my wonderful driver Mohamed to not only pick me up but also take me on a full day tour at an reasonable price. Mohamed even recommended a restaurant to me and sat and waited in the car as I tried my first traditional meal which was amazing! He then even stopped and purchased me a traditional dessert called kanafe which I enjoyed immensely. After he dropped me back to the hotel I decided I wanted a massage but the QR code in the room that brings up the spa menu isn't in English so I was happy when I received a call from guest services inquiring about any needs I had. I inquired about an English version of the menu as well as the restaurant menu only to promptly receive a freshly printed copy at my door of the spa menu, and then a leather bond menu from the restaurant! I decided to go to the restaurant where I was received by Omar the captain. He waited on me hand and foot and was very patient with me. He not only insured that I was given everything I want quickly but also went beyond his duties and took my left over food to my room. My key didn't work
Really great value. Really helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. Excellent rooms. Stayed for two nights - either end of trip to Jordan. Fantastic Arabian restaurant. Great location for airport. Highly recommended.
Great customer service, hotel was clean and super friendly staff
Service impeccable. I was able to check in early when my schedule changed. They arranged for transportation to and from the airport and also a lovely driver to take me all around the city.
Beautiful hotel and excellent staff, very friendly and knowledgeable
Really nice hotel super safe and rooms are well maintained, will recommend it to everyone that wants to go to Jordan
Loved it!
Got there very late..2 am and the personnel were great! Waited for us, lovely, huge room, comfy king sized bed! And the darkening curtains made the room black! We slept till noon! We are staying at the Opal again the end of the week when we return to the Amman airport.
Everything was great
New, large and very clean room. Staff are very helpful.
Excellent Stay
Opal better than Amman Airport hotel
We have stayed at the Amman Airport hotel in past. Opal is much nicer, cleaner, cheaper only 14 minutes from airport (although the shuttle is 25 jod) and they gave us a box breakfast when we had an early flight I would never stay at the Amman Airport hotel again. Only comment is they promote hookahs in one of the restaurants where children and non smokers share the patio air
Better than Amman Airport Hotel
We were welcomed and shown our rooms. Very nice with balcony. Two restaurants offered decent food with excellent service. Sadly they promoted smoking hookahs which was bothersome and surprising with many children around. If you want wine or any alcohol with your meal forget it. Smoke yes alcohol no. They kindly provided a boxed breakfast for our early morning departure. Only 14 minutes to airport with 25j JOD shuttle. We stayed at Amman airport hotel in past. Forget it. This is nicer and cheaper. Only complain is two wild woman banged on our door at 1am in full covered garb. Wrong address. Not the hotels fault. What were they smoking???
Comfortable and friendly
The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our room was comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. We had breakfast delivered to our room and it was amazing. Plenty to choose from. Whenever we needed a taxi all we had to do was call the front desk and they set everything up including letting us pay for the taxi at the hotel.
What a remarkable property this is!! One of the best spa and relaxation I've had in a while!
A good choice if you want to be out of the city midway between the airport and Amman. You’ll need a car rental to move around. Clean very friendly helpful staff
Beautiful Hotel but slow service
