Have enjoyed in the past but bed bug bites ruined our trip this time around

Our room was a decent size with a huge balcony. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We had the best time in Athens and we can’t wait to go back.

Best hotel I have ever been in Athens

Great place. One oddity: The sitting area was smoke and comfortable but oddly and I adequately illuminated. Could not read after dark even w the 2 lights on. Never encountered this before. Otherwise great place.

We picked this hotel because it had perfect Expedia reviews and we were not disappointed! I was afraid room would be noisy because it faced a street but as soon as I closed the window it was absolutely quiet. Comfortable bed and daily housekeeping. Hope to come back someday.

Oniro Hotel in Athens

Wonderful hotel. Walking distance to the Acropolis. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Stayed 3 nights and loved our stay. Great location in a nice neighborhood. Easy walking to shops and literally restaurants and cafes on every corner. Hotel has that wonderful boutique feel and charm. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommend.

The hotel had a quaint, boutique, upscale vibe with an incredible breakfast, friendly and helpful staff who helped coordinate a taxi pick up from airport and taxi drop off to the port. The room was European size but tasteful, beautifully appointed, comfy and clean. Very impressed. It was in a local neighborhood but walkable to plaza.

Four superb nights in Athens

Excellent stay. The complimentary water bottle at our arrival should be renewed every day (four night stay). Simple but we'll chosen breakfast buffet (plus main courses). Super location. Very good neighborhood, quiet, clean and secure. We would definitely come back.

Nice place to stay

The bed and the bedding were very uncomfortable. They felt like sandpaper . The breakfast included was amazing and there servers were amazing . The evening receptionists did not speak or understand English very well . Was hard tk ask questions and or suggestions.

Quiet rooms with quality fit out. Very attentive staff. Great neighbourhood. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

First time in Athena

Great location. Clean, modern and comfortable. Laundry service was a life saver after days of travel. Breakfast offers varied selection and Sofia provides personal attention and friendly service.

This is kind of mixed review as this property could be 10 out of 10… The pros - 1. Nicely decorated, new room, not enough light though. 2. Walkable also a little far from the main attractions and the return is up hill. 3. Excellent and tasty breakfast 4. Nice staff with a smile. The cons - 1. No window in the room other than weird window in the bathroom overlooking interior patio. 2. The staff is polite and smiling but not trained as you would expect from hotel stuff to provide a good advice on the area, this is lacking. 3. My legs got bitten by some insect, not sure it’s their fault but it wasn’t pleasant at all. 4. Not soundproof do you can hear everything from the outside and inside. One of the days there was a non stop barking dog… 5. Didn’t like the bed, too small and the mattress not comfortable (I guess this is personal preference). To summarize- Ok hotel, maybe for younger audience, would try elsewhere next time.

We had a wonderful stay at Oniro City Hotel and would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff for their outstanding hospitality. We arrived earlier than expected, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us, making sure we were comfortable from the moment we stepped in. The rooms are immaculate, well-equipped, and despite some being a bit smaller, they were still very cozy and comfortable. We also appreciated the breakfast – conveniently scheduled, which was especially helpful for us and our friends with early checkouts. The breakfast spread was of high quality with a great variety of options to choose from. Lastly, the location couldn’t have been better. We were within walking distance to all the spots we wanted to visit and close to a great shopping area. The neighborhood is safe and perfect for exploring. Thank you again, Oniro City Hotel, for such a memorable experience!

Convenient and well appointed. In a safe and chic neighborhood. Walking distance to museums and sites. Staff was friendly but could have been more helpful with dinner reservations, information etc. we really liked that the second sofa bed was separated from the mail bed by a screen - it created two mini rooms which was nice.

The only negative thing is that you could hear every movement in the hotel as if your door is open.

From check in to our very early morning departure, the staff at Oniro City made our visit amazing!!! The room was spacious, the beds super comfortable, the breakfast great, the staff friendly! We all were super comfortable and grateful for the hospitality. Thank you!

Such a wonderful boutique hotel in a great neighborhood. The staff went out of their way to make it very comfortable. The breakfast is very good. They are very knowledgeable about things to do and restaurants. We had a mishap in a tour we booked and they were on the phone to get it resolved. Definitely would recommend to people visiting Athens.

Fantastic hotel. So clean and staff was amazing. The breakfast was also much better than expected. Would recommend. Lived up to its pictures unlike many other hotels that are deceiving.

Absolutely fabulous hotel - wonderful location for all the things including great dining options. Jerry managing the property at night provided us 3 great options for dinner and was very helpful. Check in, check out easy a breeze and the breakfast was incredible. Will stay here again.

The hotel's proximity to the main attractions within walking distance was very convenient. The staff were always willing to assist and provide any help needed. We were upgraded to a Jr Suite. The room was very clean, modern, and comfortable. Our flight arrived early in the morning, and we were allowed to check in early. The minibar and snacks were fully stocked with great options. The staff were extremely helpful!! We loved our stay at this hotel.

Great hotel! Very central and in a good neighborhood. The staff were great. We had walked with luggage from the Metro. It is uphill! We are seniors and it was exhausting. I think a welcome drink should have been offered (we were entitled due to VIP status) it was not mentioned and when I asked, the desk needed to call someone. I was told a coke or Sprite. I asked if I could have water. There was a hesitation so said forget it and we didn’t get our free drink! Not a big issue! The room was amazing and breakfast delightful!

This was our first stay upon arriving in Greece before we commenced our island hopping for 3 weeks. Staff were terrific throught the motel and on review after our four weeks in Greece, Breakfast was the best of all the venues we stayed at. Room was fairly small and comfortable but reasonably expensive as the motel is located in "Kolonaki" which is one of the better areas in Athens. Approx. 30 minute walk to Acropolis/Museum, dining and shopping precinct

This property is very unique in design. Small space has been cleverly and artistically redone. However, there is no lobby on common space to speak of. Lighting in our room was dim and for purpose of putting on makeup not bright enough.

Excellent breakfast and staff. They really set the standard. Some delayed maintenance in the bathrooms that were not addressed during our three day stay. Bathroom is right inside the door to your room. Slippers/robe provided. Comfortable quiet sleep. Frankie Restaurant is half block up the hill— best Greek Salad in town! Walking distance to the funicular up to Lycabettus Hill. Do not miss the views. Amazing restaurants/bar/history.

We had a fantastic stay at Oniro City. The staff were extremely friendly and were eager to help. We got upgraded upon arrival and the room is was spotless and beautiful. If we are in Athens again I would absolutely stay here again.

Everything was nice as expected.

Jerry at the front desk was so friendly & helpful at the check in time and when asked for the assistance for a confirmation of certain pre-purchased tour info. The staff in the kitchen was also kind to prepare for the ordered dishes in a quick manner in time for the early morning tour. Thanks much!

The breakfasts were delicious! The staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. This was one of the nicest "boutique" hotels I have ever stayed at. My daughter and I would easily give it a rating of 11 out of 10. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Athens and would definitely stay here again!

NO laundry at this hotel. Expedia provided incorrect info on their website. We ended up do ours at laundry mat. Please correct this info. (I checked other booking websites and they didn't list laundry for this hotel)

This is in a quiet street but walking distance to centre with historic sights, galleries, etc. Staff very friendly and helpful, even got up to see us off at 5.30am. A late change in flights meant we could not sample breakfast but will certainly return.

Staff at this place are fantastic, hospitable and caring. Breakfast is delicious and filling, with a wide range of options.

A great small hotel

I have to say that this hotel lived up to the reviews! It was clean, quiet, big room for Athens, and an AMAZING breakfast. It was walking distance from Syntagma Square station - though mostly uphill. Highly recommend!

Great breakfast!

Frankly we adored the staff here, everyone was so incredibly welcoming and nice. We loved our room and it's big spacious balcony, but it was the people that made it memorable. Gerry at the front desk in particular made it feel like coming home when we were greeted. It's all the reasons we prefer boutique hotels. Also, the breakfast in the morning is amazing.
