A gem near Gibraltar
I stay regular with the hotel . Clean large rooms staff friendly.breakfast good selection. Price good. With pool. Bar. Very close to Gibraltar. And Spanish restaurants bars . Safe area with the locals and views of the bay and boats in the marina
When visited Gibraltar we find this a great hotel to stop at been many times.
Very good value, and conveniently located for exploring Gibraltar and the local area.
Clean rooms and walkable to the Gibraltar. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. Great stay
We loved the proximity of this hotel to the bus station. It was a close walk across the border to Gibraltar as well. I think this was a beautiful hotel at one point. It just looks very tired and definitely needs some upkeep. Overall, the room was clean and the staff were nice.
Super nice stay in Jan 2025. Property is updated, comfortable. Very nice staff. Thank you.
Great!
Great place to stay when visiting Gibraltar! It’s so much easier to walk across the boarder than to drive. The hotel has a parking garage and everything else you could need. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Great breakfast buffet.
The breakfast experience was outstanding. A great mix of hot foods, breads and fresh fruit was wonderful. I was very satisfied and thought it was worth the price
Overnight stay before flying home
The hotel was comfortable but looked tired, Our room was a good size with a lovely bathroom but some of the furniture in the bedroom area was slightly marked/damaged. when we stayed there was not a good selection for dinner but probably because the hotel was quiet with few people staying there.
Not the best
Our stay was ok, the room smelled like sewage. They tried to fix it but the smell returned. The hotel was dated and needed some sprucing up to look better. It could also be more clean. However, the staff was amazing and helpful!
My go-to hotel.
Convenient & comfortable half-board accommodation, for regular work trips to Gibraltar.
Breakfast and convenience to bus station and centre. Lovely common patio and view near pool. Picky point..like hot plates for the freshly cooked egg dishes and cold plates for lovely tuna salads..
Room with a view of the Rock
Fortunately we got a room facing Gibraltar. The view from our 6th floor balcony was spectacular!
Excellent staff, so helpful. It was a really exceptional stay. The room was comfortable and well designed. The breakfast was brilliant and the staff were friendly and no request was too difficult. We will return soon.
Best value stay near Gibraltar. Good size rooms with Balcony. Breakfast great value with eggs cooked to order and fresh orange juice.
AC was switched off. They turned it off for while building. I ask for fan they said they didn’t have one. Lots of facilities close like the pool which was not advised. A bit disappointing
It was not bad but it was not great. The staff was super nervous ce and helpful. The view is one of a kind especially at night
Visiting family
We were visiting family and the hotel was great for everything we needed, breakfast was delicious and loads to choose from, beds comfy, we have booked again for next year
An excellent location and nice room. Would stay here again. Great value breakfast. Only negatives were a very hard bed mattress, and room had a slightly musky smell.
Great location for Gibralter, clean, & friendly. Ideal for solo traveller
We booked this hotel due to its proximity to the Gibraltar border. We expected basic, clean hotel. We got only the basic part. The positive: The location -close to the border on one side and the city on the other. The breakfast was excellent, the $9/day parking -convenient. Now the negative: The rooms are basic, ours was not very clean (I cleaned the dusty surfaces with wet wipes), and the bed was hard as a rock ( no pun intended), beyond uncomfortable, likely the worst bed we encountered in our travels. The carpet in the corridors were dirty and covered with nasty spots and stains - a problem a simple steam cleaning will likely take care of. We were there for Gibraltar, so thanks God we only spent 2 nights in this hotel.
This was a good value for money stay. Only a few minutes walk from Gibraltar Airport. A good place to stay for any onward journeys into Spain.
Comfortable
Comfortable with good view of sea
Good hotel handy to border staff friendly
Good location but needs work
Fridge in room was in dreadful state! Plughole grill in bathroom was rusted and a piece of food from previous guests was flapping underneath the hole! Room floor and balcony floor were dirty in parts! Grout in bathroom was very black in places. Lifts were dirty inside and outside! Glass on way to restaurant was dirty! A previous guest had written ‘….you’ on the mirror in bathroom and it appeared on it after a shower - mirror obviously hadn’t been cleaned. Location was perfect and with a bit of work/supervision this hotel would be much better!
Perfect location and scenery
Friendly staff
Clean and have good view.
We stayed one night and it was fine. Room was big and the view was nice. Dirty walls and missing grout around the shower area. Air conditioning wasn’t very efficient.
Two elevators for a hotel this size, NOT ENOUGH! Very poor in-house services. Blinds for west facing rooms would have been good. Overall, adequate, but I would look for somewhere else if we went back.
Very clean and tidy. Some of furnishings and fittings were dated
Great budget hotel
Great little budget hotel. Close to Gibraltar boarder crossing and airport. Rooms are a good size and clean. Very nice bar and hotel restaurant food was good value.
Gibraltar 2024
Near boarder, walking distance to Gibraltar and bus station. 4 star hotel with 2 star price. Highly recommended.
Nice place close to Gibraltar
Close to Gibraltar's border - 10 min walk facing La Linea's marina, couples of restaurant & bars nearby.
Cheap option if visiting Gibraltar. Bus terminal is near by to catch ferry to Tangier. Staff was very helpful and made check in easy . Will stay again
Older property. Air Conditioner was very poor. Would take 2 hours to cool room.
Pleasant stay. Convenient location
Property was perfect location for walking into Gibraltar every day
Very friendly checkin reception staff. Great view of marina and the Rock
Great location-2min from bus station and 10 min from Gibraltar border. Rooms are very good size with king size bed and a good size bathroom. The hotel have a swimming pool in the sunny terrace which was the best place to get the suntan as it was windy at the beach. Great service, friendly staff and a fresh food every day.
Just outside Gibraltar - 10 min walk to the border. Lovely room with a balcony and great views. Excellent buffet breakfast was included with our booking. Convenient paid parking under the hotel. Easy to drive to the hotel. Would recommend
The views were brilliant location was good and special mention for our cleaner kept room clean and coffee topped up which was essential as my husband was poorly and I spent a lot of time in the room.bar staff were great
Helpful staff, area outside a bit rundown
Expensive mediocre hotel but still cheaper thn gib
Family stay. Have stayed here many of times. On this occasion i found the hotel expensive for what it is. Pool used to have music all day thats gone. Rooms used have little extras in the bathroom combe ect. Thats gone. Tv only had minimal channels net flix option didnt work nor did it in the 2nd room. Breakfast selection has gone down hill. Lifts take an age to come. Air-conditioning has been altered to only go down to 20c. Staircase hand rails i would class as unsafe definitely would of been condemned in other countries.
Great hotel and location if Gibraltar is required as part of your trip highly recommended
Large room with huge balcony. Pool area not too exciting but nice when it's warm. Walkable distance to beach. Our focus was visiting Gibraltar but the local area was very nice in the evening.
.
I have emailed the property 3 times with no reply, we had a few things within our room which was extremely dangerous to my child and disabled mother. The property needs updating, redecorating. The staff were amazing and really friendly. But when we explained our problems no one turned up to fix them in the 3 days we were there. I’ve still had no reply.
Great
Good location, clean, comfy
Nice hotel near Gibraltar
Stayed a number of times over the years always clean .staff polite breakfast very nice and rooms nice and big .
Very uncomfortable beds
Hotel is clean and very close to the Gibraltar border, but the beds are very hard and uncomfortable, the wife had to use the extra pillows to lay on , which is not ideal.
The best part about the hotel is that it is located at a walking distance from Gibraltar border. The downside is that hotel provides bare minimum comfort, cleanliness and services.
They remembered my birthday and left a bottle of champagne in room very nice touch
Great place to stay. Recommended
Would recommend.
Great service, great location. No real complaints. The only thing I can pass comment on is that the beds are a bit hard.
Satisfaction
Yet another satisfying stay in Ohtels.
The hotel was within easy walking distance to Gibraltar. It was not far to all the shops in La Linia. The cost of staying at the hotel was not excessive. The food in the restaurant was very good and the staff at the hotel were very helpful. The snack bar near the swimming pool was very convenient and inexpensive.
Nice staff, check in seamless
Lovely hotel , pool area needs extending \ remove fence ! More sun loungers required ! Otherwise super 👍
Room was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable. Difficult to get a sun-bed by the pool. Hotel very convenient for local restaurants and bars and close enough to the Gibraltar border crossing.
Easy to get to Gibraltar
Review
A lovers hotel that has very friendly staff and is great value for money
Not bad, not that good either
Average hotel, needs a little TLC, however, clean and has everything you need
Great location for visit to Gibraltar
Nice modern hotel a stones throw from the border to Gib and a much cheaper option than hotels on the Rock. La Linea also has some nice bars and good restaurants. Nice pool.and bar area. Recommended.
Convenient location to visit Gibraltar, city is cute, too
It is very near the border to Gibraltar. I commend the front desk for accommodating my request right away for an extra bed. Unfortunately in general neighborhood looks rundown. The rooms need more cleaning such as dusting, disinfecting, etc.
A wonderful experience in La Linea de la Concepcion!!
Very good hospitality and professional treatment of guests.
Very good hotel situated close to the Gibraltar crossing.
"Ohtels Campo De Gibraltar exceeded our expectations! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful surrounding area. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast options and relaxing by the pool. Highly recommended for a wonderful stay!"
Great stay
So convenient to Gibraltar crossing. Staff was friendly and allowed early check in. View of Marina and rock of Gibraltar was beautiful from the patio!
Errol in Gibraltar
Excellent hotel. Room was big with balcony. Very comfortable Desk had a light which is unusual. Sraff very helpful.
Great place to stay if you want to walk to Gibraltar. Excellent breakfast options.
Air conditioning was too warm, unable to adjust cooler. In the heat of summer, would be a problem.
This hotel did not match the expectations set by previous guests. In contrast to our previous stays on this trip, the staff were not welcoming. The hotel was “tired” looking with cigarette burns on the furniture and an austere bar and reception areas. The hotel was advertised as having laundry facilities - this had been important to us as this was the mid-point of our European trip, but we were told it was a 24-hour service. It should be said that we found the town to be amazing and really enjoyed visiting the local bars and restaurants.
Handy for crossing to Gib. Check-In lady seemed a bit short around booking.
The hotel location was fantastic for us. The room was fine but the hotel's maintenance was not up to par.
A fine enjoyable stay
Going downhill
Used this hotel many times and compared to the prices across the border it's a no brainer. However being a 3 or more times a year customer you expect the staff to join the dots up and sort you a decent room rather than a run of the mill room. No such thing as gold upgrades here dispite plenty of rooms available. Breakfast always seems rush and never hot unless you que to get fried eggs. Bacon, sausages beans and mushrooms luck warm and only one microwave now.
Excellent location to visit Gibraltar and linea de la Concepcion. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was amazing. My only suggestions is to provide AC no matter the seasons. We practically suffocated and dehydrated in the room. We select the hotel with AC included. Also, open windows or doors the whole day limited your privacy and expose you to robbery from neighbor balconies.
Best Breakfast
About 10 min. walk to Gibralter border to walk over to the Rock. Spacious underground parking ( keep a key card as you need it to open the exit door and there is a box right there to put it in after). Wonderful buffet breakfast with lots of choices included with our stay. Looked like a nice outdoor area but weather was not that great and only stayed one night so didn't get a chance to go outside.
Dining is limited, room needed to be updated. Very noisy due to the wind.
Large, clean rooms. Well managed facility. Easy walk into Gibraltar.
Upon arrival the staff were cold, unfriendly and unwelcoming. The room was stuffy and stale smelling and there was no air that worked in the room. We were told there is no air except in summer and there was no fan they could loan for the evening. I let them know the website on Travelocity said there was air conditioning so that is false representation. The staff said I know. The bed was very uncomfortable. When blankets pulled back you could see the outline of the springs in the bottom sheet. There was also a large spot with black mold on the ceiling in the shower. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.
This hotel works for what you are here for.
La Linea de la Concepcion is not the cleanest town and this hotel does not have the feel of a safe neighborhood (including a local show highlighting the crime in the area) but I will say that the breakfast was very good, the location is perfect for walking to Gibraltar, and at $9/night parking, it was good to put the car in a safe place. I would stay here again although the room and balcony were a 3/5 at best for cleanliness. The balcony had a nice view of The Rock.
Hotel was clean and conveniently located. Easy walk to local restaurants and Gibralter. Upon arrival staff was cold, unwelcoming and rude, no offer of map or information. Both nights people partied in hallway until 3-4am with kids playing soccer in hallway, screaming and yelling. Bed terribly uncomfortable, which combined with noise made sleep difficult. No air movement in hotel room with false representation of air conditioning which I was rudely told is only in use during summer. Staff aware of false statements and didn’t care. Requested a fan for air movement but staff responded coldly, “No”. Have never stayed in a hotel where staff is so rude and unwilling to assist. Also, huge area of black mold on ceiling in shower. Do yourself a favor and find another hotel, this one is totally not worth it.
Decent for a one night stay. Close to Gibraltar. Great breakfast buffet!
The location works great as a base for a day trip into Gibraltar since the border is about a 10-15 min walk. However, I think calling this an upscale hotel is really misleading and is more accurately a 2-star hotel. The building and the room were dilapidated and outdated. The room was very dusty with moderate to heavy staining on the bedside tables and the bathroom countertop. There was a dirt shoe print near the balcony door and a hair inside the electric kettle.
Near Gibraltar Border
The hotel is older and in need of refurbishment. It is well located near the border into Gibraltar. The services were adequate.
Within 10 mins walking distance from the Spain-Gibraltar border and La Línea bus station. Useful as a ‘stopover hotel’ when travelling from Gibraltar to other parts of Andalusia to avoid the exorbitant hotel rates in Gibraltar. Fairly close to La Línea centro if you need to grab food. No facilities so to speak but generally a clean and pleasant hotel.
20th stay here and just simple but good no frills
We always return here without question. Very well set up taking into account for flight arrivals.
Good stay
So close to the border, food was good but the cooked breakfast was not kept warm Hotel dealt with noisy guests in the next room Room was clean
Close to walk to Gibraltar. Easy underground parking. Nice bar & cafe area for lunch. Would skip the buffet dinner, everything was cold and not very tasty.
Everone was helpful, the area is close to shops, tapas bars and restaurents. The marina is a great view.
Staff are more than helpful
Gibraltar border stay
Friendliness of staff was excellent and the location of the hotel is right on the border of Gibraltar, meaning walking across is very easy. The rooms are old in style and whilst clean, cigarette butts on our balcony showed a lack of attention to detail. We booked half board, expecting a restaurant with choice and perhaps as is fairly common, a value to use against other parts of the menu. What we got was a sparse room of random coffee tables, with a television showing sport in the corner. The menu was a choice of 3 items per course, mostly quite niche items like rabbit for eg. The hotel has excellent car parking facilities and all staff encountered were excellent on reception and in the eating area. I think we expected more.
Excellent value for money, spacious, good location
Easy check in, secure parking under hotel, spacious room, nice shower, balcony. Very handy 15 mins walk Gibraltar airport and 5 mins from shops, bars, restaurants in La Linea Good value, handy bar/restaurant on first floor.
Property is a bit dated but good value overall. Easy walking distance to the Gibraltar border and restaurants in La Linea.

Hotel air conditioning system operates in either cool or heat mode. In January it’s heat mode so rooms getting afternoon sun get very hot. You can open the balcony door but overnight rooms get very stuffy.
