Pros: Very quiet place, staff were friendly, comfy overall Cons: I got charged three times and had to call several times to get it reversed correctly, the water temperature is set to lukewarm so when I tried to take a hot bath it was a big disappointment

Room was clean and service was great. Not really a complaint, but you can tell that the place is a bit older and ran down. Still a perfectly find and acceptable place to sleep.

I definitely liked my stay, it was peaceful and no disturbances, the only downside is limited toiletries provided, like towels. And the bathroom is super cold all the time. Even with the heater on, its just a wall heater so it mostly keeps the area around the hed warm

The bed was comfortable, the facilities worked quite well and were very clean. There are lots of rules though regarding Ice Machine, what you can use towels for, and how to turn in your keys. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast is just a few muffins, some fruit and coffee. If you are looking for a real breakfast, you will need to head into town.

Hotel is Rough around the edges

The room was full of signs. Don’t use towels if you are wearing makeup. The fridge was turned off so i had to trash all my food. Owners had scary looking dogs, and getting ice was an huge inconvenience. Won’t stay here again. Loved area north of Florence. Crab chowder in town was amazing.

Cute hotel great staff

Very cute, comfortable place to stay. Beds were firm and room was extremely clean. We will definitely be there again.

This is an older hotel where you pull up to the room door. It was quiet.

Price reasonable

This old-school motel was outside of town away from restaurants, etc. There was no air conditioning but there was a small electric portable fan. There was no staff on duty at all after we checked in. There were many “signs” attached to the walls of the room with “do not…” and threats about being fined for such and such. Not very welcoming. The room was clean and roomy, however.

Unfortunately, my daughter and I arrived late in the evening and left slightly before check out so we were not able to fully enjoy the property. The property itself appeared well maintained as did the room we stayed in. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the front desk clerk. She was kind and very helpful. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and cozy. It looked to be very well maintained and was very clean. I can tell you that my daughter and I slept well. We only wish that we would’ve have been able to fully immerse ourselves in our stay. However, we were grateful to have experienced what we were able to experience.

Very easy to find. Room was adequate, clean quiet and easy to use TV. Bathroom was clean nice and big. Check in was easy with good parking all on one level.

For a one night stay, while passing through the Florence area, this motel was just fine. It seems older but rooms were a nice size and tidy and clean. Reasonable price. It is situated south of the bridge right on Hwy. 101. Despite being right next to the highway traffic noise was not terrible. No A/C but there was a small fan provided in the room which was nice. Beds were okay (one of the two beds in our room was really creaky).

This reserve was for parents. They said it was very well kept inside, but even with a online reservation, the motel charged them a deposit or other fee, which they weren't explained what it was for. They would recommend this as a cheap place to stay in the area, that has clean rooms and good service otherwise. Close to town and family fun.

Easy access but noisy. Office closed most of the time. Room smelled stale upon entrance. Counter around sink too small. Liked the beds in separate rooms.

Hotel has seen better days. The room was old and dated but well maintained. Our criteria is simple. Clean, quiet, and good bed. This had two of three. The bed is foam and too soft...we had the feeling we were falling off the bed. We have been using hotel rooms for the past 11 weeks and, comparatively, this one was overpriced.

Clean place and quiet even for a Friday night in August. Huge, updated bathroom with hairdryer and good hot water in sink (I didn’t try shower/bath). Quick check in through Expedia and pleasant staff. Enough of the essentials to get by but if you’re a morning, coffee or tea person, you might want to bring your own fixings. Small convenience store across the street. I liked having the mini fridge and microwave. For the discounted rate of $125 I would stay again and I liked room 11.

NIce quick stay overnight easy check in and out and quite comfortable for an older place. I would recommend putting a lighted ceiling fan over the bed for a little more comfort when the weater is warmer, ( no AC ).

Very clean

Stayed here for one night. The owner Tom gave us the best hospitality possible and we really appreciated it. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Despite located along Hwy 101, our stay was quiet and peaceful. We didn't hear any traffic noise.

The people who check in are the owners, very kind. The room was clean and had a microwave and fridge. No a/c and when we stayed there wasn't any hot water. A plumbing issue was getting repaired. Nice clean maintained property. We would stay here again.

I arrived early and asked if we could check in. We were told check in was 4 pm. I asked if there was any chance our room was ready. It was but we were told there was a 20 dollar surcharge to check in early. That is ridiculous considering the place was already extremely overpriced!!

Clean, quiet motel a couple minutes from the ocean and from downtown Florence. It has small-town, family-run vibes that left me feeling nostalgic for long road trips with my family as a kid in the late 1980s. Actual keys, office hours, a drop box, the whole nine yards. There was a hiccup with Expedia sending the itinerary but the owners were incredibly quick with fixing it. It was a really great experience when I'd usually be worried about a larger chain shrugging their shoulders and leaving me out in the cold.

This is a great small motel. A great find!! Quiet, clean, close to activities: dune buggy rides or rentals, eatery's, horseback riding & shops. Haceta lighthouse is up the road, a short easy hike, beach access too!

For being an older hotel, we were quite surprised. It has been nicely refurbished with comfortable beds. Even though it's right on the 101, it was very quiet. We were in rm 12 with 2 queen beds. It was very spacious. Short comings were poor water pressure in the shower, sloping floor, and thin towels. If we go back to stay in that area again, we will return.

Clean and comfortable but also outdated and a little shabby. Bedding was clean but definitely low-end. There were no privacy sheers on the window so your only options are letting anyone who walks by look in your room or shutting out all natural light. Staff was very accommodating and friendly when we had to change our reservation date last minute.

The hairdryer and alarm clock didn’t work. There was no pot in the coffee maker and only two bath towels. Staff was friendly, but we had to wait an hour to check in.

Older building & decor, but clean & comfy.

Room was a little dated, but clean & comfy. Has mini fridge, coffee maker & microwave. There is no A/C, so it may get a little uncomfortable in the Summer. The only con I can think of is that the shower head is the "low flow" type, so that made it harder to rinse out the shampoo from your hair. All in all, a very nice room for the price.

Clean and quiet

Pamela welcomed us at her motel with a lot of kindness, and provided us with an excellent recommendation for dinner at the Waterfront Depot (it was indeed delicious)! It was her birthday a few days after our stay, so again—happy birthday to her!

The woman who worked at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Our whole experience was a very good one..The price was good..

Very helpful manager. Comfortable bed. However, the stench of chlorine required us to sleep with the window open which allowed for road noise from Hwy 101. If the level of chlorine use was to be reduced considerably, it would make for a comfortable stay along hey 101.

Easy off the hwy. Plenty of parking and quick, friendly check in. Room is cozy and great for my lil dog too.

Nice, clean place to stay for individual or family

The manager is very friendly and accommodating. We have stayed at the Ocean Breeze Motel several times and find this meets our needs. They have upgraded the rooms and some of the amenities. Weather permitting there is a nice fire pit area with wood/log type benches, there is a picnic table under cover and a small off lease dog area that is fenced. It is south of Florence but close to the city and to dunes further south..

Great place to stay

The room is large with a comfortable bed, TV, microwave and frig. Manager Pamela is friendly and efficient. Downtown Florence is close. I always stay here.

It is an older motel, but in fine condition. The room was quite clean, and the property manager was great. Be aware you’ll be hearing traffic as the moral is right on 101, but it didn’t keep me up. Would stay again if ever I find myself in the area.

Loved this place!

Convenient and clean room.

Reminds me of watching Schitt’s Creek…in the best ways possible! This place has been a delight to stay in. The manager treats this place as if it were her own! She’s gone all out with the Halloween decor and creates a feeling of “family” here. Our room was immaculate and welcoming, spacious and comfy. ADA accessible and pet-friendly. Safe fire-pit to warm around some evenings. I would absolutely come back.

Quick overnight on our way to Eugene, OR airport early next day. Friendly staff, nice room, very comfortable king bed! Will stay at Ocean Breeze again!

The Ocean Breeze motel was a great stop on our drive of the PCH. It’s an older motel, so don’t expect luxurious amenities, but it is a great little stop with a clean and comfortable bed to rest for the night. Pamela in the office was fantastic! She was super friendly and helpful. This was a nice stop for the price as we worked our way up the Pacific Coast Highway.

The lady managing the motel was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean and the ground outside as well.

Great place to Stay

First the manager is the best, Very attentive and wanting guests to have a comfortable stay. The Motel maybe older but you don’t feel that way because everything is painted and clean, especially the carpet which is always my biggest pet peeve. Mattress is comfy and clean, I liked that there was a sheet on top of the blanket. There is plastic protecting the mattress which makes it a little sweaty but I get it. It made made me feel secure I wouldn’t see little critters crawling on me while I slept and it was clean under me. They stop check in at 9pm which is a plus, this is a small Motel and you wouldn’t get any sleep if people were checking in at all hours. We have family near here so this motel is definitely on our Save to stay again.

This is an older property but still nice and clean. Manager Pamela was delightful and easy to talk to. Property was pleasant and well cared for. Downside is it is not close to restaurants and other amenities. There is a convenience store across the street but that is it. They do have a small refrigerator/freezer, microwave and coffee maker inside the unit. Decent internet; I was able to work remotely with no problems. Local amenities were within close driving distance. We will probably stay there again!

We had room 12. Super clean, spacious, one firn and one soft bed (perfect for us), comfortable area outside the city. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice this little place is!
