The view was just as described. Convenient on location restaurant. Close enough to walk to town, but far enough to not be bothered by Saturday night crowds. The heated pool was a big hit with the kids. Access to the riverfront for a small fee was absolutely worth it. The whole family can’t wait to book next year’s trip.

Very nice hotel

The room was excellent. Staff was excellent. Everything was clean and spotless. One concern of I had been traveling alone was that the only lock on the door was the lock on the door knob. I would not have felt very secure. Another concern is that the hot water temperature is set extremely hot!!! Be careful especially with kids.

We had a great stay! The rooms are so clean and it is so quiet. Our room was cleaned every day of our stay. So nice to come back after a long day of hiking to a made bed with fresh towels and refilled coffee! The location was great (within walking distance to several shops and restaurants) and the price is affordable. Next time we are in the area we would love to stay again.

Excellent place Would definitely go back. Staff was amazing and extremely helpful. Fire pit was such an excellent place to gather to finish our days!

The room was ok, on the small size. The bathroom is really small, there is no room to turn inside of it.

For a decent nights sleep, it was fine.

Had a dirty towel in the bathroom located on the floor. Paid for a queen size bed and got a full size.

Nice place to stay for a short 3 day getaway

Close to town, reasonably priced.

Nordick's staff was friendly and welcoming. One staff person even went out of his way to accommodate a request. Very nice patio renovation (we've stayed here before); room was clean--good sized fridge and microwave made it easy to eat in; also convenient to downtown Lake George (walking/biking distance--we didn't use our car at all during our stay). Bed very comfortable. This is a great place to stay--we'll be back!

Staff was excellent, nighttime fire pit was great

We have a good experience. The bathroom as others said is small but you manage to do what you need. our bathroom was missing a plastic shower curtain and only had the one use for decoration but we didn’t want to complain since we only were there for 2 nights, other than that all good.

Super amazing staff. So kind and considerate. The only thing I’ll knock is that the room I was in was a little dated. It was comfortable but just was showing its age. I do know that some of the rooms have updated fixtures so I have no doubt that in time everything will be fantastic.

The room was very clean, and the staff is super friendly! My only complaint is the size of the bathroom. It was a very tight fit for me. But I would definitely recommend Nordick’s to anyone.

The rooms were bright, smelled fresh, and were very clean. Beds are very comfortable, and the pillows especially were divine! Front desk help was very friendly. Altogether a great place to stay. Will definitely make this my regular landing place in Lake George.

Very clean. Very small rooms. Small air conditioner, blocked by bathroom door. No beach access, unless paying $10 pp per day to adjacent complex.

It was small, but clean and cozy. The pool and fire pit areas looked great, but we didn't use them. I didn't like how far it was from the stores and restaurants. Too far to walk so we had to pay for parking both days.

The room was small but very clean. Staff was pleasant. It is at the start of the village, so there is some walking to do and you can bring your car to other areas. Parking is a little hard but doable. I would definitely stay there again.

The property is in a great location. Close enough to everything but quiet enough to not get all the noise of the busy street!

It was nice that the lake was right across the street, so it was easy to get to.

Overall the property was great! Very clean. The only issue we had was with the plumbing. The water pressure was not good and it seemed like when anyone else in the building was showering the water pressure would drop to a trickle. Also hard to control the temperature. We had a great view of the mountains and lake from room 23. Very easy to walk to the village but far enough away from the traffic.

Had a nice stay. Staff was great, bed was comfortable, room very clean with nice refrigerator. Beautiful pool and fire pit. Bathroom was extremely tiny, my only complaint

This is my second year going here. Always clean. Staff this year was very nice young people and helpful. I like the view. Walking distance. This year was me and my 4 kids. All went great. Warm pool. Pool is in good condition, doesnt scrape your feet. Firepit.

A last second reservation, literally 1/2hr before on a Friday afternoon! Great staff, low key, nice pool/fire pit…a very pleasurable experience

Liked that it was walking distance to village. And down the hill to other side we could use the beach. Staff very accommodating Clean. Only negative is, id like the pool to stay open alittle later than 9p.m. And be nice to have a hot tub.

The Nordick Inn was clean, within walking distance to everything to do in Lake George and the staff is very courteous and accommodating. The staff feels makes you feel like family and you will want to be tucked in every night. You will leave feeling happy that you found this cozy, comfortable place but sad that you’re leaving.

Front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. Room had a great view and was clean and stocked. Hot water was finicky and could change from comfortable to scalding to cold at a moment's notice.

OK motel that is located a couple of blocks from

We were nicely received at check-in by a gentleman who offered many helpful hints for sightseeing and dining. The premises are well-maintained, with a glistening swimming pool at the centre of the upper block of rooms. Our room, which had a comfortable queen bed, had a musty, old-hotel smell when we arrived, and it was still evident throughout our overnight stay, even with the AC running. The room (#15) and bathroom were quite small. There wasn’t a chair, desk or table in the room, and I do t know how they could be squeezed in. No separate bin for recyclable wastes. But we slept well.

Staff was helpful and attentive.

The room had an unpleasant odor. The windows did not lock or close correctly and the door did not feel secure. When arriving the smoke detector continued to beep and we tried contacting the desk to get someone to fix it. Nobody was available or answered the phone. They were very pleasant when we finally got someone and all the employees during our stay were very friendly. The restaurant on-site is no longer in business.

Very clean room ! We over looked the pool but need to cut tree's so you can see the beautiful view.

Room was clean but there was no access to beach and when we asked for info to nearest beach we were directed to one that was for resident's only and required a permit.

Great little motel close to town and view of lake

If you’re stuck between a few options of motels to stay at in Lake George, book THIS one! Has an unbeatable view of the lake, awesome amenities (fire pit, pool, multiple options of room size) and is walkable to downtown. The staff were lovely and SO helpful and made every effort to make it a great stay. They also mentioned they’re in the midst of remodeling and modernizing so I’m sure they are only going to keep ‘upping’ their game. Would absolutely stay here again!

Security Issue

Rooms have flimsy household type locks. No deadbolts or system to secure room. On return to room in the evening, after office was closed, found door to room unlocked and left open. I know I locked it when I left in the morning. Evidence hotel staff had been in room because there were clean towels in the bathroom.

Lady host at reception is wonderful, big smile and super welcoming. The pool is very nice and readily accessible. Room was very clean and location is great, a nice walk to the downtown shops and restaurants.

Near to restaurants and great staff peacefull area

Nice little spot right near the main strip of lake George; 10-15 minute walk or so. It’s location is nice, you get a nice view of the lake, theres a clean pool, nice fire pit, and the area is clean. Room was clean, bathroom was recently redone. Staff was super friendly, willing to get me anything I needed, and also knew a lot of cool spots in the area to check out. The only thing that I’ll point out was the toilet had recently been repaired but the device in the toilet wasn’t set properly so I had to turn the water off behind the toilet anytime I was done using it or else the water would be just filling in the tank non-stop. Not a big deal at all, but I made them aware of it, and I’m sure they’ll take care of it. Overall I happily recommend this spot, it’s well priced and in a convenient location.

Great place for the family, staff is awesome and welcoming. We were warmly welcomed by a very cute and innocent smile from a Boss Baby “Isabella”. Highly recommend place.

Should have never gotten a rating between four and five. Everything is out dated. Not what stated. Had an issue with getting money back for one night stand did not have any cooperation.

Three of us stayed here one night. We liked our stay. Clean, comfy, safe, good parking, pool was extremely warm (to warm though like 90 degrees), good AC, decent location. Would stay at again if it was a similar or even less nightly rate.

It’s a solid Motel option in Lake George. I only stayed there for a one-night stopover. The room was clean and quiet, and parking was easy.

The reception area is unappealing and the person at the desk was not very knowledgeable about the area. It would have help finding our room if the room numbers were at the front instead of at the back door. How ridiculous!
