Great location! Walkable to everything. Staff was kind. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. We had a great stay w/our 5 adult children.

My room was very small, we also had issues with the shower. However services was great.

Center of Taormina.

Hotel is greatly located in the center of town, 100% walkable, with great friendly staff. Great pool area and rooftop bar. Rooms are very comfortable. We had city and sea views - amazing and highly recommended for a romantic Taormina stay.

Simply the best In Taormina!

Looking forward to going back to this ‘gem’ of a hotel. It was a wonderful place to spend a week in Taormina. The staff, Sarah, Clarissa, Alberto, Carlo and Angelo did their very best to make us feel most welcome. The rooftop dining and bar are very comfortable and breakfast was delicious and staff gracious. By the way, the location of this hotel is great too!

Excellent location, friendly staff, the room was better than expected.

First they advertised parking. Second we requested an early check in as VIP members which they did not honor. You really need to use the expensive valet if you want 24 hour access to your vehicle. Room was nice but the pictures make you believe you are close to the beach. You are not. You need to find the cable car or make a significant drive. We chose this hotel to go to the beach and never made it. We did splurge on the room and had a leaky hot tub on the roof which you couldnt heat. Its really a soaking tub you need to fill to keep water hot. We had the Presidential suite and there were no perks. We had to ask for them. When we did they were iimmediately delivered and they were wonderful. We appreciate it very much. Staff was immediately responsive to our concerns. I would give this hotel a 4.5 but not 5

I enjoyed my stay at the NH, however was very disappointed that the water temperature for the pool at the premises was very cold... what is the sense of having a pool at the premises if it is not heated ?

Great option in Taormina

This was a great stay in Taormina. The hotel was well located, within a nice walking distance to the city centre. The hotel staff was lovely and really made us feel truly welcomed. They had partnerships with 2 beach clubs, which was amazing, as they provide the shuttle service from and back to the hotel. Would recommend it for sure!

The surroundings are very beautiful and everything is accessible by walking in the town of Taormina. The Cable car is excellent to use for a day out at the beach, what i didnt like was the size and configuration of the hotels bathroom, it wasn't easyto shower or use the toilet considering the cost of the room per night.

Fantastic location away from main tourist area but only 5 minutes away. Great stay. Very helpfull staff especially regarding my delayed baggage.

The incredible staff was amazing The management is doing everything right at this property! Every department the staff was top notch- doorman, front desk, breakfast room, roof top deck, maid service everyone was top notch. Angelo was especially helpful always and delightfully. The bartender Giuseppe made absolutely stunning drinks and was most hospitable and Stefano took great care of us on roof top and at Breakfast. The front desk was always very very welcoming! We were very impressed by the entire staff each and every day we were there for 6 nights.

Loved it

The staff was exceptional. Any question or assistance I needed was responded to quickly and competently. In particular, I needed help to find options for transport to the airport. The time and patience offered me to search and purchase bus tickets was exceptional. thank you to the whole team at the front desk who were kind and helpful, every day!

Good hotel rooms were quite small

The staff were amazing. Particular thanks to Angelo M. who was so helpful! We had a car which we paid for valet parking which worked well. The room was good. Location is fantastic. Pool area small but good and great view.

The staff was outstanding! Every interaction we had with the staff was very professional, friendly and they were always trying to make your stay better. The location is perfect and the scenery is incredible. We will come back!

Lovely Hotel close to Downtown

We had a lovely time at this hotel and seeing beautiful Taormina and Mt. Etna. The staff are very accommodating. When checking in you are given a map of the town and the main sites are pointed out. The front desk gentleman when checking out was very informative about the legal pricing of a taxi ride from Catania airport to Taormina (€125). People we met were charged €190! We took the bus from the airport €7 each) then a cab from the Taormina bus stop to NH. We were slightly over charged at €20. Going back it was €15. Also, the gentleman told us the cabbie must accept a credit card and not demand cash as our first man did. The town is lovely but be prepared for the ups and downs of hills and stairs.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is convenient and very walkable.

I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. It was expensive and definitely not worth the money. I had reached out to the hotel in advance of our stay and upon check in they did not have the right room and caused us to get a 2nd room. There was a bug in our bed and mold in the shower. The manager was rude and not accommodating. I am a frequent traveler and was very disappointed at how expensive this room was and the terrible, terrible customer service!

Bathroom flooding!

Where to begin. The hotel is ideally located in Taormina. The staff is friendly and helpful. In particular, Sarah, in guest relations was incredibly helpful. This individual was exceptional. The hotel itself is very clean. The lobby is comfortable and accommodating. Had it not been for the particular problem that I am about to explain I would give this hotel five stars. Now for the problem. we were assigned a room that was apparently designed for handicapped individuals. This room had a shower which flooded the bathroom on every use. In order to take a shower we were required to roll up towels and dam up the doors to the shower so that we could keep the water in check. I have photographs of this problem and have added them to this review. Simply unbelievable! Little or no effort was made to resolve this issue or change our accommodations. So, the moral of the story is, do not let them book you into a handicapped accessible room because of the bathroom flooding problem. The rest of the room was fine. The view of the ocean and the town were outstanding. This could have been a great stay had it not been for the bathroom problem. Every time we took a shower, we had to go through an extensive process to keep the water from flooding the bathroom.

Sarah was the most helpful. All her recommendations and reservations (beach visit) made our stay a joy. We will definitely comeback soon. Your hotel room was so comfortable and for the first time & after many different hotel stays through all of Italy, your hotel had kleenex/tissues in the bathroom! Angelo's smile and attention to detail were fantastic.

Fantastic. Property and people are too notch. Service is unbeatable. The spa is out of site and Federica is by far the best masseuse and gives a facial that’s magic! We’ve stayed here twice and will be back.

Excellent location, easy to drive to, you can leave the front of the hotel and are very close to the main strip, where there are many restaurants, shops and in walking distance to ancient theater, such a. Lovely staff, great Spa, and our room had a great view with a French balcony.

Beautiful! Blend of old and new, with plenty of comfortable spaces. We loved the lounge in the evening for a quiet place to share a glass of wine and talk. Everything was perfect!

Amazing central location but not five star

We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend in preparation for our upcoming wedding in Taormina. Whilst the location is exquisite - literally a 2 minute walk to the centre - the rooms and facilities are certainly not 5 star. The room was quite small and the bar menu consisted of clearly microwaved meals with dated cutlery with cups that were barely suited for public use. There is a paucity of equipment in the gym but it is modern and immaculately presented. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I have stayed at other NH Collection hotels that were of a much higher calibre (for example, in Livorno). This would be a reasonable 3 star hotel but for the price, certainly not worth its 5 star rating. If you want a 5 star experience, I think the nearby Grand Hotel Timeo would be the way to go!

Luxury property in the heart of Taormina, with access to shopping, restaurants and the Greek Theatre

The room was splendid with a beautiful view of the city and the sea. But for me the most important thing was Agnese , Vicenzo and Marco , the staff of the reception all the time with a smile and always put attention of our requirements. Thank you

Lovely hotel on the edge of the main attractions

Lovely hotel just on the edge of all the main attractions in Taormina.

This hotel has a great location and delicious breakfast. We had a little inconvenience with the first room. The shower overflowed water but the next day they changed our room to a better one. Other than this I recommend this hotel.

Excellent property in an idyllic location with a rooftop view that can’t be beat. Wonderful service, excellent AC and Wifi and one of the best spa treatments I’ve ever had. PLEASE see Federica in the spa. She has magic hands and is a lovely person.

Small Pool and very few beds by the pool. A lot of people leave books and bags on the chairs for hours to save the seats.

It has beautiful amenities-the rooftop is great and the pool is beautiful, but the rooms themselves are quite small and a bit cramped. Half of the rooms face air conditioning units, which isn't ideal especially for price point. Just wish I knew that if I did not explicitly pay for a sea view that I would be looking at AC units instead and not even the city... or another building

Refuse room at the 3rd floor, I booked a premium room ocean view but can’t open my curtain because the guy on the terrace was looking inside my room. Staff is no polite except the door man, food at the restaurant was very poor. Pool’s bar close at 5PM☹️☹️. Clean staff don’t make a good work. Ia asked for late checkout for 2 PM the lady gave a quickly answer, “yes, EUR 50. Location is fantastic to walk to the Corso Umberto, Main Street if Taormina but there are other hotels with a good location also. If you can be far away from NH.

It was a pleasure trip!

From the moment we arrived at the hotel to the moment we left we felt taken care of by NH staff. The room we had was superbly beautiful with the great view of the ocean. Our room was always well-maintained. The room is very nice, spacious and smelled good the whole time we were there. The breakfast is highly recommended and we don’t typically do breakfast when traveling. Overall we had a great stay.

Great stay in Taormina

Really liked this property, location is great, just a short walk from the main street, but still very quiet, we had a premium room with a view which was a good size and had a beautiful view of Taormina. There was a great slection at breakfast, and service was very prompt.

Excellent location We got an upgrade for our honeymoon to an amazing suite for which we are extremely grateful Very clean Staff lovely Pool closed for a couple of days as well as steam room and sauna which was a bit annoying just Advise don’t book the breakfast as a bit expensive as is the parking - 20 to 30 euro per day Drinks by pool very expensive at 12 euro for a glass of prosecco It is a five star hotel so expense understandable - it really is a five star

The hallways were a little bit up. Carpet, wood. The pool need algae removal desperately.

All i can stay is I've already booked a stay at the NH in Rome on the last leg of our trip.

Easy access!

We've been to Taormina three times and have stayed at three different hotels. This property was by far the easiest to get o by car. The location was perfect for walking through the town. The staff was great and the views were fantastic.

A Gem on the Med.

We “wandered” into Taormina with this hotel having been recommended by a family member. We were greeted at the front desk by Daniella, who after explaining that it was the holiday week of ferragosto and the hotel was “full” somehow found space for my family. Truly superior service.

The hotel is very close to the central attractions of Taormina which meant that we didn't need a car throughout our visit. The streets in Taormina are very narrow and parking is a huge issue. Staff were incredibly attentive and friendly and couldn't do enough to help. The spa and massages are excellent as is the pool area (albeit that the pool is too small to really do any proper laps and exercise). The gym is also good and my son and I were able to maintain our workouts throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this excellent hotel.

The hotel was wonderfully located and the view from the room (605) was unreal!!! The room was well equipped and pleasant but the best of all was the immaculate service! We couldn’t ask for more :)

Taormina hotel and experience

Taormina was wonderful. We spent time in the old city, took a day tour to Etna and saw an opera in the Ancient Greek theatre. The hotel was excellent. The staff was so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend the NH.

Great hotel, just steps to downtown

The hotel is relatively modern, clean, and has excellent service. The staff got us checked in right away with multiple people helping and prepared our room early. Breakfast is quite a spread with a number of included items that can be ordered and cooked fresh to compliment the buffet. The gym is adequate and the pool area, while a bit small, is nice and relaxing.

This is an amazing hotel for so many reasons. Firstly the staff are incredibly friendly, kind and extremely helpful at recommending and booking places to see & do. Secondly it’s situated perfectly next to the centre of Taormina, a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. The food at the hotel was also fantastic and the rooms were also really comfortable, quiet and spacious! We had a perfect stay, I can’t wait to go back!
