It is a great hotel and excellent service.

We loved the hotel however disliked the rooftop restaurant service was poor and food was awful. Very limited menu and staff not friendly at the restaurant at all.

Our room with a balcony and beautiful view was wonderful, memorable. We were on the 3rd floor, and there was a fair amount of street noise at night, next time I'd request a higher floor, but otherwise it was excellent. Convenient to walk to sites, shopping, dining, etc. Would definitely return.

The decor and atmosphere of the hotel was dark and overwhelming. Truly ugly. Service was fine, and location is great. But, at this price, very disappointing. the website oversold the hotel.

Chris, Vicky and younger Chris at New Hotel were so accommodating! They helped make our stay perfect with suggestions on where to explore, getting around the island and where to dine. We loved our stay and hopefully will be back again sometime:) Highly recommend!

Nice hotel with Art Lounge restaurant that gives panoramic views of city. Centrally located so most things are within 15-20 mins walking distance.

Great location, good rooms and friendly service. A major plus was that they are pet friendly and we were traveling with our dog. Unfortunately, despite offering a dog bed that was never delivered which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Great hotel in the center of Athens

The check in process was easy and the individual was very accommodating. The staff at the restaurant was fantastic and the view was great of Acropolis.

Great location

The property is well located to the Acropolis and shopping and the staff is professional and helpful. The rooftop bar is an amazing location for evening drinks. It was an incredible view. For the price, the hotel lacks amenities. Even some basic ones like an ice bucket. I felt the price was high for the experience. Also, the church bells ring full bore every morning at 7am from about 50 yards away. The first time you hear them, it’s charming. Less so after a few minutes. If you had a late night or just want to sleep in, forget it. The loudness can’t be overstated. It’s impressive to say the least!

No tea making facilities. A great hotel, but slightly over-priced for what was delivered, and expectation was raised too high by the glowing descriptions of it when booking was made. I have to say the staff-all, without exception, were charming, helpful, and very patient indeed. Well done.

Loved the hotel, it's in a great area and the roof top restaurant/bar has a beautiful view of the Acropolis.

Hotel is nice in city Centre, within walking distance from shops , restaurants , museums and syntagma square. Only disadvantage is the noise from the main road. Very nice rooftop restaurant

Fantastic Hotel in the Heart of Athens

New Hotel is simply amazing! The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself has a really cool vibe and is very relaxing (even in the city center)... Which is also great because it is close to everything. The hotel restaurant serves up some delicious food. I definitely recommend this hotel for business or leisure, or a little of both!

Excellent in all respects. Quiet but perfectly located in the center. Friendly staff, comfortable, well-equipped room. Coffee/tea facility in the room would be a good addition. I’ll definitely return.

This is a nice property in a great location. Staff was fine and the hotel is clean and comfortable. Only downside is that the main road is very loud throughout the night, and because of the large windows it is quite loud. Having all the shades down helped a bit.

Great location and friendly/helpful staff

The employees were Amazing, and the location was great. The only negatives were that they show an amazing view of the Acropolis (supposedly from your room) but not really, and no washcloths, and there was no sheet on my bed. Again, the staff was wonderful!

Close to many attractions. We walked to la Plaka and we were close to travernas and shops

A Dream Hotel in the Heart of Athens

Our stay at New Hotel was absolutely wonderful! The staff were super friendly and they did everything in their power to ensure we had an excellent stay. The hotel has the highest standards in covid safety protocol. We felt very comfortable and in "good hands". If you need to stay in Athens, I highly recommend staying at New Hotel.

The location is great. The roof garden is excellent and the manager was extremely helpful as were the rest of the staff. I didn't like the small room I had at the beginning of my stay - it had strange proportions. A good stay - I'd do it again.

Oasis full of Amenities.

Wonderful Hotel on the edge of the Plaka. One of the best beds of my trip. Fluffy and comfortable. So impressed with the front desk. Fantastic service and beautiful restaurants. Excellent breakfast. Very convenient location, right near the Plaka and Syntagma Square. Because it's not in the Plaka, cabs can pick up/drop off right at the hotel. Flipside of that is that there is more noise because of traffic. No view from superior room, but did get some nice pix of the Acropolis (with a zoom!) from balcony of rooftop restaurant.

This is not a 5 star hotel as indicated on your website. There were bugs all over a breakfast chocolate cake at the buffet breakfast the very first morning that we were there. Scrambled eggs were cold every day, displayed in a square pan as opposed to a metal chafing dish with a lid that would have kept the eggs warm as done by every hotel I have used for many years. We had Superior plus rooms that were far from superior. Sheets were haphazardly placed on the beds. Very poor quality sheets on the beds. We

Great location and great Hotel

Stayed at the New Hotel for four days prior to going on a cruise and everyone at the hotel was professional,knowledgeable and attentive to all our needs. We were very happy with the location and all personnel at the hotel couldn’t have been nicer. Came back to the hotel after the cruise and the same professional attention was continued. Great hotel and staff.

Great breakfast. I noted on my initial review that the room was a bit noisy. At our first breakfast, management came and offered to move us to another room. (We declined at the noise was more obvious when we checked in and took a nap during the day)

Wonderful except the sheets didn’t breath so we were hot even though the room was cool - just strange. Otherwise it was fantastic - the vibe the lights the breakfast - everything!

We really enjoyed staying at this luxury boutique hotel. The design and decor was magnificent. Very modern vibe and the scent when you walk in was to die for. We bought a bottle of the spray!! Highly recommend!!

The rooftop patio is lovely, we sat there for lunch and it was a wonderful start to our holiday. The staff are so friendly and the hotel is in a prime location for exploring the streets and restaurants in Plaka. A+!

Excellent Hotel. Rooms clean and relatively new. Design of hotel and rooms is excellent. Location is the best in central Athens at the edge of old town. Breakfast quality is excellent and better than any 5 star chain. Very lovely Hotel and Staff.

Hotel was in perfect location. The stag was super friendly and the decor was so fun and cool. Great rooftop with views of acropolis. Wish I could have stayed longer

The hotel did not live up to its standards. The room was in horrible shape. The shower had no shower door which made the floor entirely wet. The room service food was horrible. The front lobby looked like a lobby you would find at a hostel. Just an absolute dissapointment.

Loved this hotel! Room was fantastic. Excellent service. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Great roof top bar. We had booked a four star hotel in Athens and it was horrible, despite very decent reviews. It was so bad that we walked out on our prepaid three night stay after one night. So I was nervous that this hotel would also not live up to its reviews - but I had no reason to be concerned. This was a truly lovely place to stay. Highly recommend!

Fun boutique hotel.

Great hotel, centrally located, amazing staff, funky cool room with a great shower. Rooftop bar is great for drinks and has an amazing view.

Two things are really great about this property: 1) The location near Syntagma square, which puts you within an easy walk to the Parliament, the National Garden, the Acropolis and a lively restaurant scene 2) The rooftop restaurant and bar which has wonderful breezes and a view of the Acropolis.

The hotel is beautifully renovated. The renovation land recycling of material gives it a unique flair and soul. Basic rooms are relatively small but extremely well done.

Recent stay at New Hotel in Athens from 5/29-6/1, we loved this hotel, staffs were great, friendly, helpful. Location is great, very close to Plaka, Parthenon, Syntagma Square. Hop on, Hop off bus stop is nearby. very convenient for tourists. Buffet breakfast was very good, both in selections and quality. I looked in a few hotels before our trip, finally decided on New Hotel, turned out to be a great choice. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at the New Hotel in Athens. The location was ideal for sightseeing, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the design of the room and common areas was beautiful and unique. The breakfast buffet was delicious, the views from the rooftop were wonderful, the towels were soft, the whole hotel was impeccably clean and smelled divine. We highly recommend the New Hotel for anyone visiting Athens! :)

Amazingly comfortable and beautifully designed hotel. Rooms are spacious and each has unique art. Furniture is comfortable and plush and restaurant is surprisingly good for a hotel.

Very clean/modern feel at this hotel. Centrally located with an awesome rooftop bar/view. The bar downstairs was also very nice. One of the bartenders downstairs named Michael was just awesome..five star service! The room was also very clean and modern. The only downside of this hotel is the neighboring bell tower that chimes very early in the morning, but all hotels in this area are prone to this.

This hotel is gorgeous! The food and drinks are. amazing! I like the security of the building you have to have a key to ride the elevator. It is so close to everything I walked everywhere.
