Fantastic Customer Service

Fantastic service and great value for money. The team are friendly, welcoming & helpful. Something we’ve not always received in Bali. The rooms are large & very comfortable with excellent big beds. The pool area is very clean with enough sun beds and a sufficient gym for a workout. Loved our stay !!!

We felt unsafe and only stayed 1 night, no safes in room, the door to bathroom any had like a toilet door snib lock and then just a blind for one of the walls. You could get a suntan sitting on the toilet. The pool had cigarette butts around the lounge area. The bed was as hard as a rock. The walk to eat street is only short however very tight and no sidewalk(some open gutters as well) and very dark. Old school key entry and seperate keys for entry to villa garden and actual room. Main area of resort pool very quiet and felt quite deserted. Gym was locked. I tried getting a refund for nights that were paid for that we decided not to stay and move to somewhere safer (2 females travelling alone) Expedia and resort both refused to refund (very disappointing to not refund any of the stay, so I would be wary of pre booking and paying for multiple nights because if it’s not for you you don’t get your money back? So of course they can put someone else in your room and get the money over again! Overall very disappointed and frustrated at this establishment with our personal experience!

I’ve stayed here before in one of the other rooms that was nice. The 2 bedroom villa was dirty. Pots had mould, shower heads had green copper stains and the jets were clogged. Knobs on the cooktop were broken. Cigarette burns on the couches stains on the cushions. I only make these comments in hope they lift their game a little. Otherwise I like staying here. The price this time did not reflect the quality of room.

A great place to stay, the only reason it lost one star was because of hot water issues until they moved me to another room. The staff are the real gem here. Above and beyond. A special mention goes to a gentleman by the name of Sucita. His service, cultural knowledge and dedication to his work are above reproach. I shall return.

Had one week at Mutiara for a break and it was the perfect antidote to a challenging year so far. The staff were absolutely perfect and in particular, Sri, who was a delight to be around. Walking distance to local shops and restaurants and not too far from the beach. Will definitely return to Mutiara.

Walking distance to the main road in Seminyak with the bars and restaurants. However, hotel is on a quiet road so peaceful. Nice staff. Big room but hotel lacked atmosphere. Wifi did not work. I struggled with no hot water and the bathroom was incredibly hot.

Mutiara was just fantastic. A smaller resort, but one we enjoyed thoroughly and am already planning our next trip! The staff were incredible, greeting us everyday. The rooms were clean and the pool area was perfect. Location was unreal, in the genuine heart of seminyak on the main strip. We were close to spas, restaurants, bars and clubs. We were also close to the flea market and lots of shopping. Wouldn't think to stay anywhere else.

We booked the 3 bedroom villa, all were a great size and air conditioned. The pool was beautiful and staff were absolutely lovely and accommodating. I think the fridge in the villa needs replacing though and that would my only negative.

Very good value, nice place

This is a really nice hotel. Stayed in a deluxe room on the ground level near the pool. Room was fine, bed comfortable (given, how i like it), outside toilet and shower were good (clothes storage is outside). Pool was wonderful and swam in it daily, little Jacuzzi spot a bonus. Breakfast, despite all the negative reviews, was pretty good and tasty. Ate breakfast daily in the restaurant area. Staff were friendly and location was wonderful.

Enjoyed our stay

Yes the hotel is a little tired but it is in a great location and a good price ! Don’t try to book a pick up from the airport as they did not respond , but no issue with drop off for a small charge ... There are some great restaurants in Bali just check .. trip advisor ! Bali itself is very commercialised but felt safe.

I enjoyed my stay. I thought it was good value. The service was friendly and efficient. The room was clean. The pool area was relaxing and the location was good. What they do, they do well.

First time at this property overall pretty good but rims need a bit of love very tied. Great position very close to everything pool very nice didn’t like the outside bathrooms in the family too hot but overall good value for the money threat location

The staff were friendly and helpful, the property was amazing. We enjoyed our stay. The only things that I would add would be to have the room cool when guests arrive, have conditioner as well as shampoo and our tv coverage was poor. Weren’t there to watch tv though. Overall would highly recommend, was tranquil and close to everything. Will definitely return. 😊

This is in a great location with lovely staff. Rooms are good with great wifi and air con but could use an update. Outdoor look showers in the ensuite are starting to wear a little.

Older property and bathrooms need remodel in hotel villas were lovely.

We had a lovely stay; staff were very friendly and helpful. Ideal location, so close to the Main Street and short ish walk to the beach. Was the perfect sized hotel and had a good sized pool with floats. We had a huge balcony which was also great. Only downsides; Our shower nearly overflowed the tray each time (as it was slow draining) which was a bit annoying. Would have been great to see some sustainable steps like a water tap to refill rather than reliance on plastic bottles.

Great position - an easy walk to cafes and nightlife. Would have loved more access to powerpoints in our room. Can get a little noisy at night on weekends.

The best thing about this hotel is undoubtedly location, just a short walking distance from the main drag for restaurants and shops in Seminyak. Also short walk to sunset beach at Petitenget. It also provides a quite oasis from the busy traffic on surrounding streets. We stayed in a private villa and it was good value and ammeneties are adequate. Perhaps a little jaded and dated in some respects, especially the bed linen and towels. The staff were all lovely and polite and breakfast was delivered to order to your villa every morning. My wife used the Spa and liked it. Would stay again.

Arrange airport transfer

Friendly staff, good breakfast. Only downside was failure of hotel to answer my email about transfer from airport to hotel. Email sent two or three days before departure but no arrangement made to meet me when I arrived at airport.

Loved the private villa, set away from the main resort but with full access to the facilities. Breakfast brought in to us each morning was a bonus - not having to leave our villa to go to a restaurant. Centrally located just walking distance from Seminyak Square and many beauty salons it was perfect!

Great clean spacious villa with great food

Amazing villas. Great value for one bed private pool villa. The food was also exceptionally good. When next in Bali, we will stay here! My only two drawbacks are 1) the road to seminal is pretty dangerous and quite dark. It’s only for 5 minutes but the traffic does shoot along the road and we had to jump into ditch a couple of times 2) the staff sometimes had a habit of saying “yes” without really understanding what we were asking for. No doubt there English is much better than my bahasa and we are in Indonesia after all, but many times we asked for something and got something completely different, or nothing at all. Would rather the staff admit they don’t understand or ask for validation first. Was somewhat frustrating

Spacious family room with all the amenities you need, including great Aircon & Wifi. Pool is amazing & clean. Staff go above and beyond to help in any way they can. Very friendly, great location & free shuttle bus to get you to the beach & shops a few times a day. Excellent value for money.

Tha western food was very poor .Foe breakfast the chef produced over cooked poached eggs and under cooked fried eggs nearly every time.Dinner a rib eye steak was rare not medium as ordered and the sautéed potatoes where raw.

The 1-bedroom villa is superb and is extremely comfortable and well-equipped. The pool is exceptional. However, the occasional hot-cold pressure of the shower can be improved and looked into.

It's all about the private pool!

We stayed in the private villa and it was definitively worth the extra money as having our own pool was amazing. The villas are very private and secure with a locked gate and room. The hotel staff were very helpful and the hotel is in a convenient location only a few minutes walk from restaurants and bars.

We loved our stay at Mutiara Bali! The location is great, walking distance to everything in main town Seminyak. The staff is wonderful and attentive. They will help you with anything you need. The resort is not too big so it has a great homey feel to it. Breakfast in the morning is great. The room is spacious and the housekeeping team does a great job of keeping it clean. Thank you Mutiara!

Nice pool and bathroom. Cleanliness was generally ok. The breakfast was nice. Location wise, it's not too far from the beach. Staff were friendly. Bathroom was a bit stuffy though

pretty basic hotel, staff is wonderful, close to everything

Stayed in the 4-bedroom villa, which was ok it’s very out dated and probably a little over priced its in bad need of a makeover as the fridge was small and the shelves were broken inside the fridge the draw that homed the plates / glasses was broken so you had to be very careful pulling that draw out and the dining table was just covered in marks and scratches. The rooms are big but there’s know where to put your suitcases except on the floor, all the bedding and towels were very stained in every room with food, makeup and who knows what! Beds were hard and showers were very low pressure. However, the villa was in a great location close to restaurant’s, clubs and markets all in walking distance and the staff were very friendly and helpful… we all loved the selection of breakfast we got to choose from each day and it was brought and served to at your requested time in the morning. It was our son’s birthday so the brought him a pizza so that was really nice of them.

Spacious, quiet villa near Seminyak eat street.

Fantastic location. 5 minute walk to Seminyak eat street. 20 minute walk to beach and beach bars. Great service from all staff. This was my 3rd stay at Mutiara. 3 bedroom villa bathrooms are due for renovation (1 and 2 bedroom villas have been renovated) but overall 3 bedroom villa is wonderful. Very comfortable outdoor furnishings and beds. Ice cold air conditioning. Highly recommend.

Mutiara is simply a good value Hotel in a good central Seminyak location ..The Hotel rooms are by no means luxury but its represents good value and the staff , pool and Bfast suit me perfectly for a 2-4 night transit stay

Pool villa was very nice, clean & private.

We loved our stay. We stayed in a 2 bdrm pool villa. The villa was nice, very private and really clean. Pool was pretty big and had lots of sun. Breakfast was served in the room. Not cooked in the room which I preferred. Staff was super friendly. The location of the hotel is within 5 mins walking distance to the beach, around the corner from the shopping area and tons of restaurants.

Lovely big pool!

We were booked in for 26 nights, in a large room with a balcony, overlooking the pool. The road along the side of the hotel has quite a lot of traffic going up and down and you have to take care at nightime-take a torch. The hotel was in a good location, around the corner from numerous resturants and about a 10 min walk to the beach. The bed was vast and was very, very comfortable. There was a television that had english channels and the news channels on, a hairdryer in the bathroom and 2 complimentary bottles of water left in the room each day. The towels were changed regularly along with the bed sheets & housekeeping cleaned the room each day. There were pool towels available on request. The shower was very powerful and had hot water but the bathroom is very rundown; it could do with a refit! We had a problem with the water spraying over the toilet roll and the floor became very wet. There is a free safe in th office by the reception. The breakfast choice was huge, nothing was too much trouble for them and it was served with a plate of fresh fruit each morning. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. There were always enough sunbeds around the large pool as a lot of people went out for the day. The only complaint that we had was we had a couple of very noisy childen for a few days that screamed and shouted in the pool. Once they went it was much more peaceful! I would go back to that hotel if we went to Seminyak again!

Comfy, quiet and relaxing

Comfy beds and pillows. The hotel is not too big or too small, so it’s a lovely quiet place. Gorgeous pool. Friendly welcoming staff. Good spa and massages. Good food at restaurant that’s well priced. Room and bathroom are a little dated but very large rooms and it’s airconditioned. I always slept fantastic.

Amazing stay

I stayed here for 2 nights with 2 friends in July 2018. The hotel arranged transport to pick us up from the airport and the driver happily waited for us even though there was a long wait for our baggage. On arrival, the staff at the hotel were extremely welcoming and prepared us welcome drinks. The room was large with a balcony overlooking the beautiful pool area. The room was very clean and the beds were super comfy. The bathroom had a gorgeous shower. We had a fabulous time at Mutiara and would definitely recommend to others!

Lovely Villa, very spacious, great staff, especially ladies at the Spa.

My first room was on level 1 .Room was nice,but view from balcony was to a dirty yellow wall.Water pressure in shower was weak.Payed extra to have a ground floor room near the pool.View was very nice and water pressure was really good.

We stayed in a villa, very spacious , new bathroom , pool with lots of green space around. Great location, super quiet and only minutes from Main Street. Breakfast and room service was a bit of hit’n miss but all was solved with a call to reception. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely property, the pool is fantastic, loved the franjipani trees leaning over the pool ! Room was very clean and staff so friendly, even getting a money exchanger to the hotel whenever we wanted. Breakfast is basic but enjoyable and the same with dinner. Only negative would be the shower, just a small jet of water in the middle of the shower head!! we would go back to this hotel.

Loved the location and the pool area, hotel staff very friendly, the bathrooms are dated and in need of some TLC, hopefully they are looking into this as we are staying there again in December and would love this place to be our regular go to hotel Breaky was ok but could be a hottee

Basic cooking utensils if you plan to cook any meals. Free breakfast - may options but small servings. Served in your Villa.

Perfect place to stay in Seminyak!

Can't say enough good things about our stay in Mutiara. It was a smallish resort compared to the other polished mammoths in Bali, which resulted in a very cosy and homely atmosphere, which was further accentuated by the balinese inspired decor. The staff was amazing, and due to its size you could feel like you were getting a personalized experience. They even went as far as upgrading our room as we could not book a queen bed for our booked room and was given two singles initially. Nothing was too much hassle for them, and they always had a smile on their face, which was really pleasant. Breakfast everyday was amazing, and we had dinner one night which was great as well. While the overall resort may have been small, the rooms are the complete opposite - the rooms are HUGE, with bathrooms to match, and on top of that, the bathroom had a sunroof over the bathing area which added to the allure of resort style living. The pool was really nice, and included a Jacuzzi which was a nice place to relax after a long day at the beach. Without going on too much about it, the last point to mention would be the location. It's just off an ally by the famous eat street, so quiet enough to relax, but close to the heart of Seminyak - the cafes, restaurants, 5 min walk to Seminyak village and square, and a 10 min walk to Ku De Ta and the beach. All in all, had a great stay, really enjoyed our experience, and would highly recommend Mutiara to everyone.

Excellent Villas close to Seminyak Square

We had an excellent stay at Mutiara Villas. We booked a one bedroom villa with pool and were pleasantly surprised by the size of the pool and garden area. We had full sun all day. We have stay in four different Villas in the Seminyak area and Mutiara are by far the best. The room and location is excellent. Included breakfast choices are more than adequate and the added bonus of having 24 hr room service available is very handy. We used this service twice. It was very good quality and very very reasonably priced. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Great hotel, friendly staff, near Seminyak Square.

Stayed for 5 days in March 2018. Small boutique hotel with beautiful staff, great location, beautiful gardens & pool. Most rooms have pool view. Massages available with good trained staff. Breakfast and meals available in beautiful alfresco style restaurant. Rooms quite spacious with balcony. Need a bit of an upgrade in terms of linen and towels. Other than that beautiful. Minutes walk to Seminyak Square and the beach. Have stayed here 3 times and will go back again in September. Villas also available.

9 days of good service and facilities

The location was good with walking distance to Seminyak Square. Overall I had a wonderful stay, the staff were friendly and efficient. The room was a good size and the bathroom was huge. Overall I would recommend Mutiara to my friends and family.

Enjoyed the stay ... but

First impressions were good. Reception staff and check in very efficient .room was spacious and bathroom area very nice. Internet was poor . And when we questioned were told it is fine. It wasn't . Intermittent and dropped off consistent,. If you require good internet this is not the place. Pool was nice. Not many beds though and there were some residents who hogged them . Location is pretty good. Nice snallish gym . Only issue is you can't access it before 8 .

Quiet hotel close to Seminyak shops

Our time was spent relaxing in a quiet air conditioned room overlooking the pool. We found Mutiara very convenient, as it was close to shops in Seminyak. The cleanliness of the room was great, with staff cleaning it daily. Room service was a treat, and the kitchen was full of great food and happy chefs/staff. The concierge/reception staff were always polite and willing to help with any request.

Great villas with excellent proximity to Eat st

2nd stay at mutiara, in one bedroom villa with pool. Rooms have been recently renovated so very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect if you want a 5 to 10 min walk to all the great restaurants and shops. Room service menu is cheap, if you can't be bothered walking. Will definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel

We were pleasantly surprised how lovely this hotel was considering the very reasonable price We stayed in a deluxe room which was extremely comfortable. The bathroom is novel with the outdoor shower and gorgeous bath Breakfast was exceptional with fresh fruit and juice with every meal ordered be it eggs, nasi goreng or mie goreng and coffee The staff are all lovely and accommodating as you would inspect from this beautiful island.

Great Hotel, great location

This is the first time we have stayed at the Mutiara and we were very impressed. We had a downstairs room and it has a fabulous outside bathroom so would highly recommend booking one of these rooms. Very friendly staff and fantastic location. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and I am sure we will be going back again.

Great location,quiet cosy stay

We stayed in both their standard hotel room and 2 bedroom villa. Standard hotel room was spacious and large, clean and for under S$70 was really very value for $ given its just behind a long stretch of restaurants,bars,retail shops and massage outlets. But quiet enough simply a short 2 min walk from the central happening areas in Seminyak. The 2 bedroom villa was even a level up. We had our own heart shaped small pool to chill in, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in different storeys. Rooms were super cosy and large, we were surprise at how big the bathrooms were with separate bathtubs and shower area in the open. Look up at stars at night or the clouds in e day while showering is sheer pleasure! At S$200 odd per night w 4pax is simply a great deal for a villa stay compared to most other villas in Bali tat would've costed easily S$100 or more per night. Highly recommended given its pricing, comfort and spacious, lastly superb location!!

Loved our stay at the Mutiara. We had a 2 bedroom villa with private pool. The villa was modern, very clean and comfortable and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.
