The overall stay was good, however the bed we had was squeaking and bent down on one side. No problem other than that, very clean, convenient with coffee shop right next to the hotel. Walkable to touristy areas and the local areas (seeing two sides of Danang). Thank you for the hospitality.

Hotel was gorgeous, rooms were a bit dated but they were huge and the windows were large with a nice view of the city.

This is not worth 4.5 star, it should be 3 only. The room is very tight and stuffy; a bed is very firm, I can’t sleep. Staffs are not friendly. I am very disappointed

Lighting in the bathroom is not adequate for women to do make up in the bathroom. The light above the mirror should be brighter to be used for this purpose

For all Muong Thanh hotels in Ca Mau, Hanoi and Danang where I stayed: Hallways and elevators very hot . Need to add air conditioning there. Bathrooms need more lightings, especially infront of the mirrors. It’s too dark for women to make up. Other than that, rooms were clean and staff was very helpful.

Not as nice as the pics!

We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport. The pictures are a little bit nicer than the facility is currently. I’ve think back in the day this hotel was a lot nicer. We had two twin beds on the 14th floor, and over my three week vacation in Asia these were the most uncomfortable beds that we slept in. Not by a whole lot, but you can cab or grab your way around.

Everything was PERFECT! Only two girls weren't friendly... one of them manipulated us with taxi... last day the supervisor come to our room and did apologise... and we had apologise from hotel menager... All staff of breakfast restorant were so friendly and they worked very hard to make guests happy. Last day they surpassed us with little birthday cake for me... this was so nice of them... thanks to them! I got a birthday present and card from reception staff as well thanks to them to! So our stay was really nice. Security and cleaning staff olso was so frandly and they looks after guests so well.

Staffs are the best. Breakfast buffets great. Price is right during this tough times. Enjoyed my stay. Will come back again when things back in normal. Currently mostly amenities not opening.

only booked for the 1 night as we had booked accommodation elsewhere . but would have liked to stay longer . this is a great hotel that go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. the breakfast area was superb and the staff were wonderful.a lot of smiles and waves as we left you would think we had been there for weeks. all in all a great hotel with very friendly staff that i would highly recommend . it is also close to everything you could want in da nang.

A truely fantastic hotel in Danang!

Fantastic hotel in the city center of Danang. Wonderful staff from Management to sweeping staff. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at because of the friendly and attentive staff. It is an old hotel and the bathrooms have been upgraded to a good standard. The bedrooms are spacious and nice, but a new coffee table could be put in to make the room look nicer and be more comfortable.

Everyone was so anxious to help in any way. The rooms was very clean, the food excellent when we ate breakfast. Next time we are in Da Nang, we will stay here.

Opera One, the place to stay in Da Nang!!

Opera One first off is amazing deal for a 5 star hotel, it is also right in the center of Da Nang and provides great location to go anywhere in the city or to Hoi An. The staff is all very friendly and seek to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I was personally greeted by the manager when I arrived and the whole experience was great!

One Night stopover.

Only stayed for one night here as it was very close to the airport and we had an early morning flight. Overall we were happy with it, the check in was quick, and the room was very good. The only drawback was the restaurant. I would suggest looking elsewhere to eat. That was the only disppointment.

This is a very old hotel in need of a pint of renovation and modernization. Air-conditioning very loud, drain the water from the bathroom clogged, the water goes away very slowly. Cleaning and maintenance of very inaccurate .... WiFi internet very slow and disconnected many time's. According to my estimation, the hotel does not meet the required standard for the 5 star hotel

was a good hotel. everything we needed or anticipated was provided. however there was supposed to be a bar on the top level which I think was closed during our stay (understandable if this was low season but every tour we had said it was high season); also the bed was not the comfiest

One night in Danang

One opera is a good hotel with very friendly staff and a good overall service. They allowed us early check in after arriving from an early flight. It's 5 min away from the beach, airport and good seafood restaurants. The rooms are VERY spacious and the aircon is a split type so it's quite.

Nice hotel but stuffed up reservation

Nice hotel but stuffed up reservations on 2 seperate occasions email address on web site doesn't work so wasn't able to email them in advance. Its the same email found on their business card. That said though we did get upgraded as a result of their stuff up.

We booked through Wotif and were told our name was not on the hotel list when we check-in and it took a while from the staff to allocate us a room.

Excellent location.

Walking distance to Han and Con markets. Less than one kilometer to Dragon bridge. Large bed room with as large bathroom. Very good selections of dishes at breakfast. Staff are friendly and speak reasonably good English.

Room is spacious but old. Hardwood Floor needs replacement.

Da Nang

This hotel was quite impressive and blended the best of East and West. Staff were extremely attentive and eager to provide assistance...even standing in line at the train station for tickets as I was in an all-day meeting!

Disappointing

This hotel is a bit old and tired. It could do with a renovation. The food served in the restaurant is insipid and uninspiring. I didn't get to try the breakfast as they only serve it until 9am.

Decent hotel

A decent hotel. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Bathrooms are beautiful -- Best shower! Food not the greatest.

High standard but not a great location

More of a business hotel than for leisure. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Location not great, quite a walk from the riverside and main restaurants.

HAGL Hotel Da Nang - to be avoided

The HAGL Hotel is supposedly new but already looks old, and decoration is in very bad taste: it reminded me of old soviet style. Walls are thin so one can hear noise from neighbouring rooms, and since most guests are local, they are very noisy. Internet did not work the day I arrived, was activated only the following day. Service for breakfast was slow and sloppy. Swimming pool has strange design (with barrier half-way), which makes it difficult to swim laps. Overall a disappointing experience. Not to be recommended.

Good Value Hotel

We loved the location, the room was clean and tidy. Everything was to our liking, the size, service, wouldn't hesitate recommending to anyone.

Next time?

With the exception of certain things getting lost in translation, I loved my stay at HAGL. They provided speedy service. My room was all the way up on the 19th floor so I had a spectacular view of the bay. The room was also incredibly spacious (easily could've fit a family in that room) and the people were friendly and courteous for all of my special requests. The only exception was, when I requested certain food items for room service, there was some mis-communication with the kitchen that boiled down to a lack of understanding English. I would still gladly stay here on my next trip to Da Nang.

Central location and good for business

Very nice rooms, good service and an ideal location for business. Providing that you don't need to be on the beach, this is a great hotel.

HAGL Plaza Hotel Danang, absolutely fantastic!

I stayed in the premier deluxe suite and it was wonderful. Good furnishing, good room service and very polite and helpful staff. Perhaps the only gripe was that they were still using a CRT TV! But besides that, the room was good. Staff speak decently good English service and the Guest Relations Officer did a commendable job of arranging an itinerary for me and my partner. The location of the hotel is convenient but not the best if one wants to travel to the beaches or to Hoi An. But no real complains since taxis are cheap and easy to get in Vietnam.

The hotel is verz nice and verz close to the airport. We wanted a nice place to relax before taking an early morning flight. Good international food in the restaurant. The surrounding area was not verz appealinbg to step outside.

BEST HOTEL IN DA NANG- VIETNAM

One of the reasons I selected to stay at this hotel was because of all the positive comments about the GM, Mr. Amir and he live up to all my expectations. I was traveling with a large group. (family and friends) and he made us feel like part of his family. Call us by name during our week stay and made sure that our needs were address and taken care of. There was a situation where our group was involved in a car accident during our stay and we were without our rented transportation. Mr. Amir made all the arrangement to ensure that the hotel van took us where we need to go ( free of charge) until a replacement van came the next day. The hotel location is excellent, right in the center of the town, closed to the airport. Very convenient. The room was beautiful, big & clean. Breakfast was excellent too. Mr. Amir...and all lovely staffs of HAGL Plaza Danang, Thank you for making us feel like part of your family. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel

Good hotel, boring town

This is a very good hotel located in the middle of Danang. The hotel itself is luxurious, with very friendly and helpful staff. However, the surrounding area contains very little of interest to foreigners. The international tourist industry in Danang is very much concentrated around a few resorts on the beach. There are a few places to go for food and entertainment, but Danang is mostly a stopover for Hoi An or other destinations. As a place to stay in comfort, this was an excellent hotel. A nice rooftop bar, and a standard Asian buffet breakfast. Prices were above average, but OK for such an upscale hotel.

Phòng tắm nước chảy lên láng, nhân viên vệ sinh không thay ly cốc khi khách đã sài... món ăn hợp khẩu vị nhưng thực đơn nhìn chán chả muốn thử lần hai. Khi nhận phòng thì phòng bị hôi không biết là mùi gì. Gọi và đã đuọc đổi phòng. Nói chung cơ sở hạ tần kém không đáng giá với số tiền trả cho khach sạn 4,5 sao. Cửu kính không lau... trong khi đặt khách sạn nhìn ra sông ra thành phố mà mjnhf không thể nào chụp hình hay nhìn rõ cảnh ở bên ngoài.

Hôtel triste et démodé

Où sont les 5 étoiles annoncées hôtel démodé et le service n’est pas à la hauteur. Seul point positif les chambres sont très spacieuses mais les vitres sont sales ce qui gâche la vue. Cet hôtel a besoin d’un lifting en profondeur pour retrouver son lustre d’avant.
