Good place

Close to the airport. Nice, clean, cosy. Rooms with AC. Friendly staff, a very clean big swimming pool in the courtyard. Breakfast was also good.

Stay here every time we fly out of GYE...close to the airport...great price...pool...wifi and breakfast included great staff

The room was pretty basic. Very basic breakfast, but no dining otherwise on-site, but a restraurant was not far away. Pretty close to the airport which is convenient.

Absolutely recommend this hotel. We stayed for one night but we were treated amazing! We arrived late at night but that wasn’t a problem. Check in was quick and easy. Our vehicle was safe in a parking lot right across from the hotel. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was included in the morning and it was delicious! Will come back again! Thank you

Very friendly staff, accommodated our needs perfectly. Extremely nice location for us, close to people we met with and close to the airport. Safe. The only thing wrong: only one chair in the room.

This is a small quaint little hotel. Very handy to the airport and places to eat. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful.

A family-owned business that is really nice and comfortable. I absolutely recommend it if you are staying for a few nights, and are looking for something affordable and homey.

I’ve stayed here quite a few times. This time was for an early morning flight. As always, friendly and helpful staff.

The place is near the airport, it's not fancy, I would only use it to get to the bus station or the airport. It's bare bones, but the cost is low. It does have 2 emotional support dogs that you can pet. This is a big boost, and makes the stay nice.

Nice place, good price, close to the airport..always stay there the night before a flight.

I stayed there for a few days, very affordable and comfortable. I believe it is family-owned, which is lovely, and the owners were friendly and welcoming. Recommend if you are looking for a cheap and comfortable space.

I travel extensively throughout central and South America. Normally I stay in four and five star hotels but this time because I had plans change I needed to stay somewhere near the airport. When I arrived at the hotel I wasn’t sure I had made the right choice but after the first night, the next morning I was surprised at the level of service and for the first time and all my stays, I had a very good night’s sleep. No barking dogs, no loud music, Nobody making noise in the room next door. The staff was super friendly and the service was excellent. There is parking, good Wi-Fi, a restaurant, and taxi service to the airport. It might be a three star hotel but I’d give it a five star rating. By the way, they also speak English

Just they put us into a room next to the office and staff was very noisy , the room and are old in a bad way . Price was high for the room.check in was fine.

Stau elsewhere, this place is a dump

This place was a dump. I walked in lobby and immediately knew we couldn't stay there. I have been to some inexpensive places with good reviews that were actually nice. Since i had a 3am flight the next day i thought i could rest at this hotel for the night, but no this place is a dump and the 9.0 rating is a scam of false reviews. Dont stay here i walk to main road and found a nicer hotel for a few dollars more.

The place its great, people employees are amazing, the only issue was the water pressure. other than that i was very happy with my stay

Safety is a big plus. Water pressure not so much, but i will come back, amazingly close to everything, staff members are great!

My go-to hotel in Guayaquil

I always use this hotel for flying out and arriving into Guayaquil. Convenient location, clean, and friendly staff. The people here make flying a lot less stressful.

This is a very small hotel with 15 room. The staff were very friendly. Some did not speak any English. The pool was covered and was clean.

Friendly little hotel near the Guayaquil Airport.

With Ecuador in a lockdown I couldn't get a shuttle home to Cuenca after my flight to Guayaquil. The hotel shuttle isn't considered "essential" but luckily taxis at the airport are. This is a little family run hotel and no pne speajs much English, but they warmly worked with me when I needed to change my reservations twice! I was wrlcomed when I arrived about 11pm. I was shown my room-a simple, clean room with private bath. There was a 'fridge, TV, several chairs, table nightstands, lamps, queen bed and not much more...but I needed nothing else. The hotel was quiet but I don't think many folks were staying. I slept well, the shower had plenty of hot water and had a simple, included breakfast (scrambled eggs, coffee, juice and a roll). They called a taxi for me and helped with my very heavy luggage and sent me on my way. There was a lovely, sparkling pool and an empty hot tub just outside my door, a take one, leave one little library. A hair dryer was available from the front desk. I would stay again when I need an inexpensive place to stay near the airport.

Excellent hotel near the airport

I use this hotel whenever I fly out of or into Guayaquil. It's very close to the airport (without baggage one can walk there in twenty minutes), yet quiet. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is good, and the service is friendly.

Great stay

Check-in was easy. Service was friendly. Room was clean.

Close to where we wanted to be. Only a $4 taxi ride from the bus terminal. And 5 blocks away from the big shopping mall. The staff were excellent and spoke English.

I arrived at 1:30 in the morning by taxi from the airport and it was $5. Check in was quick and easy. This place was perfect for what I needed. Clean room and shower. Check out was the next day at 12 pm, however the staff (Gabriela, she was amazing and so kind and helpful) let me store my bags there until I left to a new place later that day. She also let me borrow a bus pass and told me about all the cool places to visit. When I was ready to leave they called a taxi for me and honestly, everyone was super helpful throughout the whole process. I am VERY happy with my stay here. I missed the complementary breakfast that morning, and the only reason why I didn’t put excellent on the amenities was because when I was booking my room it said it had a full kitchen available, so I was planning on being able to heat up the food I had brought with me. Honestly though, that’s the only thing I can’t put the full rating on and it’s just because it didn’t have an accessible kitchen, which was listed. I would highly recommend this place.

Only used the hotel for 1 night because of closeness to the airport but happy with the service.

We had a low cost room close to the airport. Except there were hair on our pillows and some sheets did not appear clean. We slept in our clothes on top off the covers

Clean and family friendly hotel

It was a short stay due to business, the hotel is right in front of the airport

We were met with a wonderful warm welcome, close to midnight, when we arrived at the Airport by members of the family of this family owned hotel. They provided us with fantastic service and a great room suitable for our family of four and ensured we were safely back to the airport in time for our continuing journey to the Galapagos. We certainly will visit Mundial City Hotel whenever we are in Guayaquil and can highly recommend them to travelers looking for superb service and a friendly face on their travels to Ecuador.
