Great location for what I was visiting the city for. The staff is very kind and the hotel offers a lot of amenities. Well worth the price!
For it to be my first time in Brooklyn, I really love staying at this property. The only thing I would like the room to have is a microwave and refrigerator to keep food and drinks in.
Convenient location, nice lounge
Loved the location and all the eateries that are within walking distance.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly.
Good hotel for Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NYC
The rooms were small but okay. The location is good. The rooms needed more outlets to charge phones, watches and other devices. We couldn’t find an outlet near the bed to plug in a CPAP machine.
Clean, modern property
Great location! The $25 per night bar credit is a nice perk!
Staff was great. Room was a bit small, but that’s not unusual in NYC.
Great Lobby Bar! Nice room and bathroom. Good use of space. Comfortable milky water from faucet in sink no one seemed to concerned about? Was there just one night So drank, washed faced and brushed teeth with bottled water only…
Had a great time! Staff were friendly and accommodating
What a cool hotel with a great vibe! Perfect for NYCM weekend. Can’t wait to come back soon!
Moxy was clean and the staff was welcoming and helpful, id book this hotel again for sure. My only critique is that the complimentary breakfast could’ve been a little better, but other than that- no complaints!
New
Love the rooftop bar
Awesome stay
I Like that it's conveniently locate near my daughter's apartment I did not like that all the common areas are somehow dark
Great location for our event
Stayed for my anniversary weekend with my partner and it was a great experience. Room was clean, modern with a twist of classic style and the view was amazing. Would definitely stay here again if I had the opportunity.
Great property will be coming back again
Pillow issues
The pillows we flimsy and very uncomfortable. A few spots under the beds and bathroom sink were not dusted or swept.
Staff was very helpful and friendly! Loved staying here and will stay here again.
Clean, nice hotel and a nice area to Be around if your looking for a place to stay in
Very clean area is fantastic and staff was super friendly
Bad
great place.
Very Brooklyn Vibe
Quick 4-day weekend trip to Brooklyn/NYC. Hotel is very modern with a very Brooklyn vibe. Rooms are small, but most are in the city. Bathroom offers very little privacy. The bar credit of $25/day is great, but bartenders are overwhelmed at lobby bar. Easy location to access train and ferry. Great views.
The hotel was very cool to stay at. It had a bar, rooftop bar and club right on the premises. The room was small and the bathroom area was unique not having much room. But the beds were super comfy.
5 Stars!!
5 stars for the moxy! My friends and I had an excellent time during our stay and the location perfect. The service at bar bedford, the roof top and Mesiba was excellent. I will definitely be staying here again.
Nice Stay at the Moxy
Had a nice king room on the 11th floor. The room was good sized. The room was serviced every day and they did a good job.
Good hotel, the only problem I had was very foggy and cloudy water coming from the sink faucet. Once the sink was dried the morning after it created a white dust like powder such as calcium or fluoride etc. Very unhealthy for brushing teeth or even washing face in sink.
Awesome Experience!
Great experience
Fantastic!
great experience
Fantastic hotel! Bunkbed room was perfect fir 3 boys!
Would stay here again. Especially loved the lounges/bars/restaurants!
Great location- Rooms were not great though
Moxy was great. We will be back
Awesome property with a great staff. Stayed many times and love it there
Nice modern hotel
Lovely modern hotel, with a great vibe! A few things to note- there is a $25 resort fee charged each day however you do get a $25 credit each day from the bar downstairs. The rooms are minimalist however there is a stash closet on each floor, this is where you find what you need- ie luggage storage racks, jug, even a fridge! Also with the layout there is no bathroom. The shower is behind one door and toilet behind another. So no privacy for getting dressed- wasn’t a huge issue for us but it could have been if you are in a larger family group- esp with teenagers.
Overall it was a good hotel experience. Great location and easy access to the city and subways. Staff was friendly. One downfall was they didn't have a microwave or any other way anywhere in the hotel to heat up left overs. Also, didn't have a small fridge to keep cold beverages. Other than that, great place to stay.
Easy & friendly
On check out day, I was knocked twice by housekeeping. I hope they have accurate information so that I don’t have to explain to them twice.
Had a little staycation with my daughters, First time at the Moxy and will definitely be returning. Staff was friendly and room was beautiful and beds comfortable.
Near subway station, very friendly staff, clean room, big enough room and bed for me and my teenage kid. Not big enough for more than 2 people. Loved the area as I could do my laundry, get water, and eat around the place. Very clean and modern design and feel. They give you allowances for free food and laundering!
Although the property was nicely decorated and beds were comfortable for the price the amenities veered sparse. 2 paper cups in the room. One very small metal chair. Nothing available to warm up some food. The nose relaxing indoor space was constantly unavailable to guests and the upholstered couches and chairs were so stained! Lobby/bar area was small, crowded and loud. Would not recommend unless that’s what you’re looking for at $650/night!
Convenient to the venue we were attending
I liked the hotel, and for the most part, everything was fine. The property was nice, and the staff were wonderful! Everyone was friendly and helpful. This part of Brooklyn is very safe and easy to walk to shopping and dinning. We did have a few issues. There’s no place to unpack your bags - no closet, drawers, etc. The shower is very small, the outlet by the sink didn’t work, and the toilet ran the entire week. Honestly, none of these items was a big deal and we enjoyed our trip and would stay here again.
Honestly, Underwhelming…
From my perspective, if you want to spend a trillion dollars on overpriced drinks and mediocre food, spend time downstairs at the Bar Bedford. The rooftop bar which is hardly open is underwhelming as well. The staff seems apathetic at best, and ill equipped. For being in the hospitality industry, they seem to know very little about hospitality, nor do they execute it well. Drinks cost at least $20 which is a comparable price to the best bars in all of New York and in the world, and yet the drinks are hardly special or that good. A simple one and one (gin and tonic) costing $20 is extremely absurd, even for New York, even for it being a hotel. There was never a trashcan in our room which made keeping the space tidy, really difficult. The space is also incredibly small with little room for storage or organizing. I enjoyed that the toilet is separate from the shower and the sink but there isnt really a bathmat or a place to reasonably hang the towels. Nothing is complimentary in this hotel, for this price, which is crazy. Not breakfast or laundry or any of the overpriced food. The coffee was complimentary. It is a place of smoke and mirrors, that looks fairly gorgeous in the photos, but cheap and plastic-y as well as a bit kitschy and tacky in real life. They lure you in by a seemingly hipster hotel in Williamsburg and then immediately piss you off when you realize how mediocre everything is and at a ridiculous price point.
Amazing staff
Good: Convenience of bar/restaurant at hotel lobby, somewhat near subway line (need to take bus or walk 10-15 mins), a lot of food options if walk down Broadway. Needs improvement: Cleanliness (pillows and towels had stains), need better sound proofing (heard very intimate couple next door), destination fees should be optional. Also, I get that breakfast bar can be busy in the morning but we had to wait 10 minutes before servers even acknowledged ylus and took our order, and the macchiato I ordered was only half full- definitely did not make my morning....
Great stay!
Small guest room room but very thoughtfully laid out in a compact “tiny house” way. Multi purpose Lobby and public spaces nicely designed with clean modern “green” aesthetic.
Noisy, lack of cleanliness, expensive
Very good overall, small room, very noisy overall. Lack of cleanliness
Hotel was unique, clean and very comfortable
Great view! Central to food and night life.
Excellent
Excellent hotel. Clean, staff was very accommodating. The rooms are small but you’re out and about so it’s very manageable. Rooftop was closed when we were there. Closed to train, restaurants and food shopping. Great location!
I didn’t like they had no microwave or fridge
I had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again!
Hotel staff was quick and very easy
The moxy is a nice spot
Excellent location and vibe, very friendly staff and comfortable lobby.
Great location
i stayed from 31-1 and i had a great experience. staff was great! Rooftop & Downstairs lounge was a good vibe after we came back from the concert ! i would definitely stay here again. Thank You
Everything
I appreciates the design and decor. I thought the room space was a bit tighter than expected.
Good vibes
Great location and really helpful, friendly staff are the things I liked most about our stay. The place has a nice vibe and the minimalism of the rooms isn't an issue. Less nice was the Halloween parties on both Friday and Saturday nights which they didn't tell us about until we checked in and that featured pounding music and screaming party-goers until 4 am. I would go back but I would make sure they didn't have any events planned ahead of time.
Location
Wonderful hotel with outstanding staff.
Na
Moxy event ruined it for us
It was some what disappointing as they advertised and offered a roof top event for 4th of July and it was terrible. We had paid for 5 people, got to roof early, found out the sitting was all reserved and had to be big spender in drinks, but no tables left. It was geared for a younger scantly clothed clientele and they should have advertised as such. Never fot my $150 back as the only option was to resell my tickets, but I was unable to. The manager at desk tried to make it up with a couple bar tokens, but was a very disappointing stay.
Will stay at Moxy Brooklyn again
Easy check in and check out, lovely staff, eco friendly. Enjoyed the rooftop bar, great evening views, nice staff there too:
It’s a basic,no frills hotel, clean, rooms are small. Staff was not super helpful or enthusiastic
Dissapointed
If you only have a backpack and do not want to sit in your room or hang anything up maybe. The bathroom basin in the hallway? Really? Maybe considered 'current', but we wont be returning.
The beds were heaven! Got some much needed sleep. Loved the staff and the decor.
Stayed here for 4 nights and it was so much fun! I was a little hesitant to book because of some of the negative reviews, but honestly the room size was just fine! It’s true there isn’t a ton of storage space but there was space under the bed to store your luggage and compartments where I stored my shoes and bags. There was a clothing rod which we used to hang our dress clothes as my husband and I were in NY for a wedding. (Added bonus was the steamer included in the room.) There was also enough room to hang some other garments. The room also had lots of hooks which we used to hang our bags, hats, and towels. Honestly, you just have to be organized with your belongings and it works. Also, how much time are you actually spending in your room when you’re visiting New York?! I will say that my husband and I are not shy about bathroom duties, but I can see why it could be uncomfortable for some as the bathroom door won’t cover all the possible sounds that would come from a bathroom. ;) Anyway, the vibe of the hotel was great. All of the staff were super friendly. The $25/day was also a nice excuse to unwind at the bar. Drinks were awesome! Didn’t get around to trying the food. The location is also fantastic. So much to walk to! And, best part is there is a market right downstairs open 24hr with a chopped cheese sandwich that I’m still drooling over now :( Definitely would stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a fun spot!
This hotel has a fantastic location and the staff is helpful. Some picky negatives are that the check in process is slow, the hotel has a busy social scene that can be disturbing late at night and one other detail! The pegs in the compact room are very useful, but please add some to the bathroom area! We stay here often and will continue to do so. Thank you, MOXY.
Rooms are small and no place to put your luggage up. Employees all very nice. Woken up in the night by people screaming in the hallway.
Room was very clean, but not very spacious. There was not a working iron. Another thing of note if you get a double room, the shower and bathroom doors are frosted glass, but still very transparent.
The lobby was beautiful and the amenities in the building were nice. The quality of the room did not match the cost though. We also had a sub par experience. The AC unit wasn’t working and wouldn’t get cooler than 71 degrees even when it was set to 65. The worst part was all of a sudden at 4am every single light in our room turned on which obviously woke us up. It was a very unsettling and disturbing way to wake up because our first thought was someone entered the room. It took forever to fall back asleep and for someone who is pregnant, this was just not a good experience. I told the front desk the issues which they took a measly $50 off our $800 bill. Don’t plan to stay here again unfortunately.
An excellent hotel close to WB bridge and Domino park
It's a Great hotel, with a nice Location. A lot of amenities in and around the property. Great rooftop space and Staff with good vibes. Wish the rooms were a bit bigger, but nice & unique in all¡♤🙌🙏
Everything was great
The pics of the scenes of water and other things from rooms is fake I only seen tree’s and another building from my room Was told I could switch tomorrow 3 days in a row then every day they booked and can’t switch my room
Excellent
Great
The property and location are fantastic, but be mindful of the rooftop bar, which can get quite noisy. I stayed on the ninth floor and found the music to be overwhelming, prompting a move to the sixth floor. The music typically quiets down around 10 PM. According to the front desk, it's common for them to relocate guests or offer headphones for this reason. The rooms are lovely and clean, but they are quite small.
Beware this hotel is noisy. I paid for a city view room however when I checked in the only room available was on a room immediately above the subway and Williamsburg bridge. It was so noisy. I was moved to room without a view. This time I could hear the roof bar 😬 No effort was made by the staff to compensate me for my financial loss
Staff was ok but rooms too small jot even space to open bags, toilet didn’t work properly
Yes the rooms are tiny and the storage is well creative! Shower and toilet are separate units and the lack of a fridge and a coffee maker is disappointing. We just used it as a place to sleep really as we were out and about all day so it worked for us as the location is really good with so many things to do on Bedford Ave. Subway is 10 mins away. Rooftop bar is LOUD! And the $25 daily charge is just annoying as you can get a credit on some purchases but not all. Overall nice place if you don’t plan on spending much time in the room!
Overbooked hotel.
Love love
This hotel was unique and modern. The rooms are smaller but great for the time we needed and the area we needed to be in. It’s a convenient location with corner stores and restaurants in walking distance. They have a rooftop bar, lounge, lobby bar, restaurant that’s also super convenient and cute !
Love it
Great
Great stay
Great hotel
The property over charged me. Please correct

Worst hotel inventory ever been to, first what they called complimentary breakfast consisted of apple, granola bars and yogurt. no actual nutrition or real food. Rooms are small and I asked many times for toothbrushes, they said it was coming to our room, never came.
