Well not sure where to start, not too many options for the food. Service was ok. However the bell boys, front desk they were excellent helping out. There were only two restaurants and food options are minimum. We were not notified about earth worms and sandflies. Sandflies are bad, I got bit by them terribly and don't even know how long this will take to feel better. There are bumps all over my body. I don't think I will ever come back to St. Thomas.

Beautiful property and service was excellent everywhere, starting from the interaction: Chris in valet/bell men was attentive and responsive, Cody in registration was superb. He was professional? Friendly, efficient and responsive. We were coming from another hotel due to poor conditions and were making last minute registrations. Someone in our party was looking for an upgrade to ocean view. The hotel had a cancellation and they found her at the bar to make sure she could take it. Tyshell at the Salt Shack was excellent and another young lady. Good and service was very good!! I would definitely stay again.

The beach is amazing!

Loved the close proximity to the private beach areas. Access to the Westin amenities and the short rib sliders and passion fruit frozen margaritas were the best.

amazing professional and beautiful hotel

From the shuttle service by Cruz Bay Watersports to getting drop off at the resort the entire staff was awesome, willing to help, courteous at all times. I will definitely recommend the shuttle service as well as the resort.

There was absolutely nothing I did not love about this property. From the ambiance, to the service, to the amenities, everything was on point!! You really did make this trip Paradise!!! BEAUTIFUL ❤️❤️❤️

Facility and surrounding areas were very nice. We went in slow season so the fact that the hotel was empty was a plus. The service was very good. Having the Nespresso pods was a big plus. We will be back!

This property was more than I expected. The ocean views were amazing. The staff was impeccable. Anything you asked for they made it happen besides having to pay for every little amenity what was offered it was great if you like Luxury, peace and quiet.

This is a premium property for the island. The rooms are quite nice, well designed, with great views. There are great linens, furnishings and other accoutrements. Upon my arrival, my room was not ready, which is shocking giving the very low occupancy during the off-season. As a premium property, nothing is cheap. Restaurant prices, valet, parking, and bar prices are top of the range for the island. But that’s to be expected. What is not expected is a relatively poor beach - with mostly rocks except for one narrow strip away from the rooms. You can see that the facility has probably seen a lot of sand erosion along the beachfront, as stairs that should land you on the beach actually stop about 3 feet above it. I would stay here again - but be aware of the limited beach and higher prices.

We had a wonderful "babymoon" stay at the Buoy House property and enjoyed the various dining options available on-site and from the sister property adjacent (Westin). The service team of the Buoy House was clearly dedicated to customer needs and comfort. We were impressed by and very comfortable with our room, and satisfied with the overall value. My wife and I would return to the Buoy House with our soon-to-be family another time, as we were encouraged by its boutique and tranquil atmosphere while still being family friendly.

Awesome time at the Buoy Haus. Rooms were clean, beach and amenities were top tier. Restaurants were convenient and food was good, especially breakfast at Salt Shack. Pool was the highlight, Wendy and his crew are the best in the business. Cannot say enough good things, hope to be back soon.

Bouy Haus is a fantastic resort for a quiet vacation away from the crowds. It has its own private beach and infinity pool, and non-motorized water activities. The rooms are nicely appointed and maintained well. We stayed in the ocean front room in first floor which was just a few steps from the beach. The two restaurants on site have good offering but limited vegetarian or vegan options. The beach front location more than make up for the average service which is still above par by island standards. Neighboring Westin has good food options. Very happy with the stay overall.

The staff at Bouy Haus is the absolute best! They go above and beyond to assure your stay is the absolute best! I hope I’m spelling their names correctly, Kalique, Mica, Christina and all the other staff are superb. No matter the time, day or moment a pleasant smile and hello is the least you will receive while passing any of the by. I didn’t want to leave…

My husband and I were seeking a quick getaway for the 4th of July weekend, and the Buoy Haus Resort in St. Thomas was exactly what we needed. This lovely resort seamlessly combines luxury with a laid-back atmosphere. Every aspect of Buoy Haus exudes relaxation, from the stunning ocean views to the cozy yet stylish rooms. The pool and beach bar are like paradise. The staff is exceptional, always making jokes or offering a delightful drink. The last time we visited was 17 years ago when the hotel was called the Morningside Beach Resort, and what a fantastic renovation it is. The front desk was attentive; when I mentioned where our room was 17 years ago, they arranged for us to stay in the exact same location in the same building. It's all about the details.

The employees and villas was amazing. We have deemed Buoy Haus our special getaway place we will be back soon

The Buoy Haus was a beautiful property with a magnificent beach and beautiful pool. The staff was incredibly polite and helpful. I also liked that the Westin was an option dining and shopping.

Peaceful, beautiful views, so relaxing, wonderful stuff reflection. My only small small caveat which is worth .3 stars was that there was no accommodation or customer service for military veterans for my experience. Everything else was exceptional and exceeded my expectations, especially considering rebooked the day before we flew due to change vacation plans.

This this a very modern and clean resort, which shares amenities with the adjacent Westin Resort. The views and ocean are spectacular at this resort. Everything is expensive, but was expected. Take a short trip downtown to eat affordable and feel the local vibe and get snacks at the local market. The locals; however, are not friendly, except for resort employees. Hotel staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating. Our pool attendant, Jamal went over and above for us and we know he will succeed greatly with his personality and work ethics. If you like a dark room to sleep, late don’t get ocean view. 🌙

Best place ever

Love the property! Rooms were fresh and clean. The resort was nicely remodeled. I highly recommend the Buoy House. Some staff unfriendly. We were ask to clean up our towels and take them from beach to pool area when they had your staff members standing around the beach hut chatting. Also, our checking was terrible! We waited and waited from 1pm to 4:30. At 4:20 we overheard other staff speaking about someone else still in our room. Not sure what was happening but the person checking us in did comp our dinner at Isla Blue that night. Thank you for taking the extra step to make our experience really nice!!!

Other than food being a bit pricey, all was really great!!

We had an excellent stay at the Buoy Haus Resort. The staff were very hospitable and very welcoming! We loved every minute of our stay. The service was excellent at the front desk, the bar and the Salt Shack restaurant. Beach and pool services were amazing as well. The rooms are clean and spacious with a beautiful ocean front view. everywhere were we went, the staff were friendly and warm.

The property is beautiful, relaxing and secluded. You cannot walk anywhere from this property and that is a small inconvenience. Cab ride is $20 for two people to downtown each way. The food at the property is just ok, so go downtown to eat. The majority of the staff is great with the exception of a few restaurant workers. Bring small bills for tips, they don’t make change on the property. Overall we had a great time and got what we came for. We will absolutely go back!
