Air quality for smoking is horrible

I’ve stayed multiple times at this location. Last night was the first time on the 6th floor which was extremely warm. So that being said turned the air on in the room to make it more comfortable for sleeping. It didn’t really cool it off, and it had like a rattle coming all night from the room. That’s my only complaint, unfortunately it was a very uncomfortable and enough it kept me away a lot of the night.

We have traveled to many casinos in the country and have NEVER experienced the lack of amenities at the Wilkes location. I realize I should have seen this in the review if the facility but with the high price for new years 488plus anda4 star location. I just assumed There are no valet swimming pool refrigerator in room Limited hot water in shower. Drain in shower slow and almost overflow no maid service unless necessary no spa services. Only in weekend. Minimal table games Cafe in casino couldn’t not charge to room or credit card. Limited food options no buffet Cash only No room service No daily coffee resupply The facility was clean and service staff nice but a very very limited casino not a 4 star or even 3 star Will not return

No valet!?

Only negative feedback is there is no valet for the Hotel. Parking lots for the hotel are all above ground level and require a significant walk down steps while carrying luggage. Asinine not to offer valet service at the hotel entrance.

The elevators are slow and one of them was out of service the whole time we stayed. The service in the casino Bar Sucks. Even if it is empty it takes the bar tenders more than 20 minutes to get to you.

When we checked in at 230, there were technical difficulties and they would call when my card went through . So was fixed at 4 and then everyone was checking in and then there was only one elevator working. No good start to our stay

There was no microwave, how are guest supposed to warm up their food? Our stay was uncomfortable. They basically made us waste food. No 24 hr restaurants in the casino. Our bathroom lights went out. They keep checking for id its annoying, give out bands or stamps

Over priced for what you get. The entire place smells like cigarettes. Luckily, that wasn’t the case for the non smoking room. You pay a $15 resort fee to use their gym, coffee and tea (no tea bags) in the room, and access to pay for their spa services. They give you a $10 voucher which doesn’t really cover anything. Additionally, Expedia reported that breakfast was included when I booked. This is not true and the hostess confirmed it. The room was nice, but definitely not worth the $169 plus $15 resort fee. Will never return again. Honestly the cleaning staff for the rooms was the best part of my visit. They were very thorough, friendly and warm, more so than the desk hospitality staff.

The room was spacious, very clean, quiet, and the shower had great water pressure. The bed was very comfortable.

Overall the property is well kept . However there is no bell hop available for luggage to be taken to the room, If you are open to doing it your self there are not enough luggage carts for the guest.

Loved our stay! Quick highlights: - Our king room was beautiful. - The bathroom was sparkling clean. - The TV was easy to use offered streaming capabilities. - Fitness center was clean had enough equipment for a quick pump. - Had fun in the casino. Our stay could have been even better if there had been more table games & restaurants open late. We would definitely return to Mohegan PA!

Unfortunately, there is no valet parking. Short walking distance, but with steps. I got surprised that smoking is allowed in major part of the casino.

Morgan Son Hotel and Casino was well kept and staff are very friendly. The only issue we had was we thought the show we were going to see was on property only to find out that the Mohegan Sun arena at Casey’s Place was 15 minutes away and we had to deal with traffic and pay $20 for parking.

Liked playing Mississippi stud Saturday, didn't like that it wasn't open on sunday.

The check in was so easy and check out. The staff was awesome! I had to leave the night before checkout because of a stomach ache and the staff was very concerned and accommodating

Easy parking

We stayed at Mohegan midweek and the property was nice and quiet. All areas were clean and although there is smoking in nearby areas it was not noticeable in the air. The room was very clean and newly renovated. Overall I enjoyed the stay. The reception host was a bit snooty but only saw her once.

Disgraceful, i made an error with the booking for wrong dates and they were not interested at all in working with me, just took my money and turned the head the other direction. I didnt even get to stay but i did pay, so enjoy the review

No military discount if booked on Hotels.com.

They advertise a 20% military discount, but because I booked thru Hotels.com they said I already got a discount and could not get the military discount. The casino eventually takes your money, food was ok, but a little high. Room was nice and was very clean. Overall two day trip was expensive.

The motel is very upper class. Very clean everything you needed was a touch of Elegance! The staff was very friendly check-in was very easily. And the casino is phenomenal. Looking forward to the next trip!

Mattress's on beds sagged and uncomfortable. Bathroom night lite too bright.

When I stay at a casino hotel, I expect a little bit of luxury. The room was gorgeous. The shower was huge, however the faucet was too far away. My clothes got wet turning it on. There was no coffee except for this rinky dink coffee machine in the room. (I can get that at a $50 a night hotel) No room service and no breakfast in the morning. I stayed here a few years ago and they had trouble with the hot water. Refused to give me a discount for the room. Cold shower. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Had a wonderful time. Casino easy to get to from hotels rooms, just through lobby and you're pretty much there. The spa was unbelievable and so worth their prices. Their beds however were the worst. They are pillowtops and extremely soft. Was not good for my back at all. However, if soft is what you like then great, you'll have an excellent time.

One Day Trip to Visit Friends from Saratoga

The rooms are nice size, the bed was comfortable and room was clean. The only drawback is you have to reach into the shower to turn it on and its at the other end of the shower entrance; hence, you are reaching in to cold water until the hot water starts flowing. Very poor design.

NO Valet Can't find a luggage cart, only 4 for entire hotel No room service No shops to buy toothbrush etc if you forgot something NO shops at all Food court has only a couple of places For the money spent to stay and the fact that their machines take and take and never give , limited amenities won't return

What an enjoyable stay

The Motel itself was very clean and comfortable. Check in was quick and easy. Very friendly staff. The room, bed, bathroom and shower were awesome. Went mainly for the Harness Racing, but was pleasantly surprised by the layout and cleanliness of the casino. Multiple choices of eateries/bars was also a plus. Have to give a shout out to Molly O’Sheas, where the fish and chips and the Reuben sandwich were to die for! While I understand what I might like, someone else may not, but this is my honest opinion of the Mohegan PA And yes, I would go back again in a heart beat!

Mohegan Wilkes-Barre

This is a large casino/conference center/hotel, which was not the best choice for a one-night stay as a stopover. Everything is large and widely separated from everything else, unlike a regular hotel/motel. But that was our choice without realizing its nature. The restaurants from glancing at their menus weren't all that interesting. We ate elsewhere.

Terrible experience with the staffing over there specially the cleaning and room services, there was construction site next-door where construction truck start making noises at 5 AM

Dirtiest Hotel/Room Ever!!!

Where do you start??? Literally have to park a half a mile away from the hotel, no luggage carts anywhere, rude and snooty front counter check in girl, literal dust on every single surface from the time that you walk in the front doors, down the hallways, inside of the elevators and the room!! Absolutely disgusting. There were dark reddish stains all over the lower part of the wall before walki g into the bathroom, hair all over the shower walls and floors, pee stains all on and around the toilet seat. Attempted to call front desk, Zero answer. Trekked all the way back down to talk to the front desk about possibly changing rooms. Only one person was there checking in a line of about 10 people. Literally went back up to the room, grabbed our belongings, took them back out to our vehicle then we went to Ruth's Chris and enjoyed one of the best meals ever for our 18th Anniversary with Cory and Gina!!! It was pretty late by the time dinner was done, soo we sat around then decided to take a nap in our vehicle. Paid for a room that we never even used. Absolutely disgusting!!!

Clean and well put together property, all of the staff were very accommodating as well as good choices for food/drinks. Will definitely come back: we saw Justin Smith at the Wisecrackers comedy show and all of the acts were great.

Needs more shopping

Everything was great. Nice hotel and casino. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Only problem is the parking lot. No valet services. Very long distance to walk with shuttle only on weekends. Staff also very pleasant and helpful.

Dirty

The reno’s look nice. But there was trash on the floor (paper, foam pieces from something) and, even worse, tufts of hair! It looked like someone had a skin condition and scratched themselves leaving small tufts with scabs on the floor! I kept shoes on my feet at all times.

Room was clean, lots of dining options. The room could have used a microwave.

Overall, the room and accommodations were fine. The hotel lobby is open to the casino, so you are hit by cigarette smoke the moment you walk through the doors to check in. There is no hotel breakfast Cafe, so you must walk into casino to the only available coffee shop. The casino itself is low quality, and much smaller than the website makes it seem. I was here for a wedding offsite, so I would not return to this hotel.

Worst experience of our casino visits. Want a refund, very disappointed by our experience. Have never experienced someone sitting next to us and doing nothing and getting kicked out of the casino. We have a party of 20 people here and it was completely ruined.

Didn't like that a lot of the places were not open and we weren't aware that they wouldn't be.
