The hotel layout is definitely different, almost labyrinth like. Loved that, almost needed a map to get from point A to B, really cool. And the staff could not be better and nicer!!!

Great hotel, and great staff! The buffet was good with a good variety, and not the same repeat dishes everyday. The only downside is I wish the kids pool was near the adult pool, as it’s actually separated by the hotel itself from front vs back. Regardless, would stay here again!

Great hotel, shower room after check out was a nice option. A couple of the staff were terrific, yet one was quite rude. Overall really good though.

Nice, quiet and clean comfortable stay. The breakfast was good. We got twin bed when requested for double, they added a nice thick topper. Very helpful staff. And added bonus as they gave us free olive oil gift as well as Easter gift hamper. Just a note to remember that you get water only on your arrival then you need to get your own.

It's an old hotel, but was recently expanded with a new building at the back. We were lucky to get one of those rooms, which was a pleasant surprise. Even though it's on a very busy road, those rooms were very quiet, as they are at the back of the hotel. No sea view from our room, but a nice beach with services is only a 3 minutes walk away. Breakfast was included and was nice. Due to COVID protocols, the cleaners would not clean the room every day, but at least we got fresh towels every day. They even provided us with pool/sea towels. They should try to use the sun to heat the pool. The water was not warm enough in October.

Great hotel stay! Definitely a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was great and the vibe was great. Rooms were decent, staff was very helpful and overall service was great! Recommend staying!

Biutyful Cretian Hospitality in Rethymnon

At this hotel I have stayed 9 times its a place I love to go when I am going for my work in Rethymno! People are very friendly rooms are nice and very good quality of food! The hotel give us a bicycle to go around bat you have to arrange it !

Wonderful hotel

Absolutely great two week holiday. Hotel was fabulous, staff amazing, food excellent and room lovely. We couldn't fault hotel staff, all very friendly and helpful. A lovely pool, our room was super with view of the sea. All meals were excellent and restaurant overlooking the pool with lovely staff.

Good value for money

The hotel is situated near the old town, (walking distanc ). Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. We had an upgrade for free which was nice. Never had problem with sunbeds, always some available. Near the beach (1-2 min walk). The only negative thing was their very poor wifi.

We stayed only one night at the hotel. Arrived late in the night. Night manager not really welcoming. Day team was nice and breakfast was good.

Good hotel but needs some improvement

This hotel is very nice but is let down by poor wifi connection in rooms, this was slightly better in the communal areas but even then the speed was very slow. The air conditioning system was also a problem; we had problems with this from day 1 and it was never properly fixed by the time we left 9 days later. I repeatedly asked the reception desk to fix it but they usually suggested I hadn't closed the doors properly and this problem was never resolved. This made sleeping very difficult as once the sun came up the room became very hot quickly.

Meaness of management.

I didn't get there due to mistaken double booking!Waited 1 hour to see the manager but he didn't help me at all ( lady aged 71,not nice ?

Vriendelijk personeel en heel schoon en netjes in het hele hotel. Mooi ingerichte kamers met luxe afwerking in de badkamer. Er zijn voldoende faciliteiten om je gezin te entertainen, van verschillende zwembaden tot een spelletjeshal.

Im ganzen hat uns hier in Minos Hotel gut gefallen, dass essen war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich, es gab nationale Gerichte sowie Meeresfrüchte, Salate, Dessert, Eis und Kuchen. Wirklich große Auswahl. Was die Zimmer Sauberkeit angeht, großes minus Punkt, auch nach der Zimmer Reinigung schmutziger Spiegel nicht gewischte Tische einfach mangelhaft. Für 3 Personen auch sehr kleines Zimmer, ein Pluspunkt war der herrlicher Meerblick. Jeden Tag Animation mit Life Musik Band, Bauchtanz Tänzerin sehr nett. 4 Sterne Hotel?? Eher nicht

Huone oli ok, ilmastoinnin kanssa hiukan säätöä mutta viikon kamppailun jälkeen homma alkoi toimimaan. Yksipuolinen aamupala, joka 10 pvä:n lomalla alkoi tökkimään. Neljän tähden hotelliksi allasalue ym. yleiset tilat nuhjuiset

Excellent établissement ! Personnel très aimable et très professionnel. Chambre propre et bien aménagée. Bonne isolation phonique. Excellent petit déjeuner avec du choix.

Excellent läge

Trevligt hotell med väldigt bra läge i Rethymno. Frukosten var riktigt bra med stor variation. Sängen var bra och rummet tyst. Stranden var ett par kvarter bort vilket gjorde att jag badade ofta. Kaféer och tavernor väldigt nära. Gamla stan nådde jag på 20 minuters promenad och där var det fina promenadstråk. Massor av restauranger och en handfull skoter-uthyrare längs strandpromenaden.

Ottima accoglienza camera superiore molto bella buone la colazione e la cena. L' hotel ha rispettato le misure Covid è dotato di parcheggio e si trova in una posizione favolosa a 100 metri dal mare e 500 metri dal caratteristico centro storico di Rethymmo. A fine soggiorno ci hanno anche regalato una bottiglia di olio extravergine e di grappa greci.Super consigliato

Très bon sejour à l'hôtel Minos. Excellent petit petit-déjeuner varié. Piscine très agréable. Massages de qualité. Personnel très disponible et à l'écoute. Hôtel très bien situé, 5 min de la mer, des restaurants et des commerces

Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat, egyedül az ágy volt picit puha az én ízlésemnek. A távolsági buszt leszámítva - helyi busz a szálló előtt áll meg - tényleg minden a közelben van, a városközpont 15 perc sétára.

La struttura è molto carina, mantenuta molto bene. Bella piscina e camere confortevoli. L unica suggerimento è prevedere una colazione con maggiore varietà di cibi dolci, in quanto al momento la maggior parte del buffet è dedicata a cibo per turisti centro-nord europei, quondi incentrato su cibi salati.

Skønt hotel!

Upåklagelig oplevelse. Minos Hotel levede fuldstændig op til vores forventninger. Fantastisk service, pæne og rene værelser og et hyggeligt poolområde. Hotellet får min fulde anbefaling her fra!

Séjour agréable au minos hôtel

Notre séjour au minos hôtel s’est bien passé. Nous avons séjourné dans le nouveau bâtiment de l’hotel; celui ci est très moderne et les chambres sont grandes avec un petit balcon (avec vis a vis). Il y a des travaux dans les immeubles d’à cote mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé. Le petit déjeuner varié se prend à coté de la piscine. L’hôtel reste un peu loin du centre ville à pied.

Bien placé

Bien placé, à proximité de la mer. Parking minuscule, donc difficulté pour garer le véhicule. Salle de bain petite et mal agencée, presque pas de débit d’eau. Ménage effectué très tardivement dans la journée (17h...) quand il est fait ! Buffet petit-déjeuner correct mais celui du soir très répétitif...sur une semaine on se lasse des plats proposés. Une personne de la réception parle un peu le français. J’avais réservé 8 jours en demi-pension, par 3 fois le responsable du restaurant m’a édité un ticket pour payer les repas...compliqué de se faire comprendre !

Hôtel confortable mais pouvant être bruyant

Arrivés vers 18h00, nous avons bénéficié d'un excellent accueil, avec une hôtesse prévenante. Notre chambre était confortable, avec une literie de qualité. Malheureusement, la proximité directe de l'ascenseur et de l'escalier nous a exposé au bruit, sans compter notre voisin allemand qui a téléphoné à partir d'1h du matin pendant quasiment 1h ! De plus, la fermeture des portes des chambres nécessitent de les claquer ce qui, au petit matin, peut réveiller les voisins. Le petit-déjeuner était moyen, comme souvent en Crête. Le parking offre au maximum une dizaine de places et il était déjà plein alors que la saison débutait à peine (mi-avril), ce qui en été, doit être compliqué en raison des difficultés de stationnement pour cette ville, comme la plupart des villes de Crête. Sinon, nous n'avons pas pu tester la piscine compte-tenu de la météo plutôt fraîche pour la saison. N'ayant passé qu'une nuit dans cet hôtel, je pense qu'en étant mieux placé, le séjour peut être agréable.

A good place to stay near the town of Rethymnon

The staf is very kind at this hotel. We enjoyed the food at breakfast and dinner. The hotel is centrally located in a street behind the main beach road, so its a bit more in a quiet place but Rethymnon is a big town, so if you are looking for peace and quiet (you ear the noise from the street from the pool area) this is not the place, this is a good place to be right next to the beach and the lovely town of Rethymnon. The beach of Rethymnon had some good waves in mid-may, less interesting if you are travelling with kids.

De ontvangst door het baliepersoneel was bijzonder vriendelijk maar efficiënt kan je de hotelorganisatie niet noemen. Als alleenreizende word je als tweederangs behandeld. De "amazing room" die me werd toebedeeld bleek de verst van alles verwijderde, donkerste kamer te zijn met uitzicht op het dak van een warenhuis en daar bovenop het lawaai van de ventilatie.

Das Hotel wird sehr familiär geführt. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind praktisch und liebevoll eingerichtet. Durch die gute Lage ist es in hervorragender Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen.

Vi skal til Kreta igen, men ikke bo på Minos

Velkomsten var god.Vi var der i 14 dg. Men da man spurgte reseptionen om hvor man kunne opleve kultur kunne de ikke hjælpe. Vi spurgte flere dage før hjemrejse om vi kunne blive på vores værelse 2-3 timer mod betaling, det kunne vi ikke. Morgemaden var ok, men buffet om aftenen var dårlig. Det kød man fik var svinekød og af og til kyllingelår. Der var et opslag om at de havde yoga, udstrækning og andre aktiviter ved poolen. Men det var ikke en eneste af de 14 dage vi var der i juli. Da jeg spurgte om det i receptionen sagde de at det vidste de ikke noget om at det ikke var.h

Nice stay but pool closes too early for august

One block from beach, 15 min walk to old town. 2 pools but main pool closes at 18h00 In august !! , Because of restaurant. Dinner and breakfast was good. Dress code for men for dinner ! I had to put back my pant as i had only shorts. Room was good and clean. Some little noise due to doors slam and housekeeping in corridor. Globally ok
