The staff at the hotel were amazing- cannot do enough for the customers. Fatih and Emmy at front were exceptional for the hospitality. They went above and beyond during our stay so thank you. The hotel staff contacted me the day before arrival to ensure everything went smoothly. The hotel is very close proximity to the grand bazaar and spice bazaar. The public transport is reliable and easily accessible from the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel always smelt very nice and clean.

Top-notch service. Impeccable design & cleanliness. Close to major attractions. The hotel is located in a pedestrian square so I recommend coordinating transportation ahead of time. Perfect hotel for visiting popular locations in Istanbul. Our fourth floor room on the front alley was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast provided a large array of options to start our day. I love everything about Mest hotel. The entire hotel was beautiful, modern, clean and with amazing views. The staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast far was incredible with so many delicious options and great staff. If you want to stay in a tourist area with great views, near the metro station, near the bazaars and lots of shops, Mest Hotel is the best option.

Beautiful place to stay as a family

What a beautiful hotel in the heart of Istanbul! The view from the top was amazing and the room was clean. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

We came to Mest Hotel after being let down at another property. The hotel and the staff go above and beyond for their guests and it really helped that the room was spotless. Although we stayed in the room ‘without windows’ it does have frosted glass panels in which lets in plenty of light. Breakfast and the terrace view is just outstanding! We’ll most definitely be staying again. Thanks again to the team for preparing sandwiches for us without us even asking for it as they knew we were leaving super early in the morning. Now that’s what I call first class service!

Unique hotel

A real gem of a hotel, truly unique and offering something different. I've stayed in many hotels, but I loved this place for its views, internal style, and room layout. We stayed in the loft room, and my daughter loved the split-level design.

Unique location for a fair price with a great staff

I booked a room in this hotel strictly for the view and it did NOT disappoint! A nice little quiet sanctuary in the hub of the city's bustling center.

Excellent hotel. Lacking a comfortable chair to sit on in room. Early morning wake up call at 5:05am by call to prayer at local mosque. Excellent buffet breakfast and endless coffee.

Perfect location

We loved our stay at Mest Hotel! It was a 15 minute walk from the main sights in the old city and 2 minutes from a tram stop - for us, it was the perfect location for getting around the city! The views from the top floor deck were lovely and the room was beautifully updated. We also loved how kind and helpful the hotel staff were. They gave us maps of the city upon arrival, made us Turkish coffee every morning, and helped arrange an airport transfer. We will definitely be back!

A comfortable nice stay in a convenient location. Although the location is quite convenient, not many driver knows the exact drop off. Great view from the terrace as we enjoy our breakfast. But do expect some noise in the middle of the night/morning as the hotel is surrounded by shops/bazaar as they prepare for opening. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

I chose this hotel based on the reviews which consistently described amazing service and I was not disappointed! The service you will receive here is above and beyond. The staff were incredibly helpful, even before we arrived in Turkey they were very responsive and helped me arrange an airport pickup and turkish bath reservation in advance. They provided great suggestions on places to eat nearby (365 Rooftop Mezze was one we particularly liked) and activities to do (the Sunset Bosphorus tour we booked through the hotel was well worth it, and great value for the money on a beautiful yacht). The daily breakfast buffet was the best I have ever seen, with great variety and everything you could want (coffee, turkish tea, espresso and all kinds of food). The view from the rooftop terrace is stunning. Finally, the staff from the moment wr arrived tended to our every need, were incredibly thoughtful (especially Fatih and Aykut who went out of their way to make our stay memorable). The hotel is quiet and we got great sleep/rest. It is located next to the spice market and is a busy area in the daytime but at night becomes very quiet, and somewhat deserted but still safe, as it is located next to a large mosque (Yeni Camii). It is a 20 min walk to the sultanahmet area, which was not bad. Other options are uber or taxis, or the tram (we did not take this as it takes the same time to walk). Overall, I am super happy with our stay. I definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel delivered exactly what they advertised and more. Rooms impeccably serviced every day. The view from 5th floor dining area is amazing. Arriving during during street closure time, they offered to send someone to guide me from drop off point.

This is a wonderful hotel close to the spice market and other bustling markets. It’s also within walking distance to a few picturesque mosques and about a 25m walk to Hagia Sophia, the cisterns, Topkopi palace etc (about 5m by streetcar). The staff is so very friendly and accommodating and the room was just lovely, with one of the best showers I’ve ever used. Highly recommend !! (One caution: hotel can be hard to spot. If you’re walking from the spice market and have reached Burger King you’ve gone too far …)

We had an amazing stay at Mest Hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious, with incredible views of the New Mosque from the balcony. The breakfast buffet has so much choice and is delicious. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, going above and beyond to help us with an issue we had with a taxi overcharging us. Without Akyut’s help we wouldn’t have got this resolved, he was incredible! Thanks so much for a wonderful, memorable stay :)

Newish hotel in old building. Great staff. No facilities (dining, gym etc) and small rooms. Next to Spice market and hordes of stree vendors right outside front door. 10-15 minute walk to Grand Bazaar and Blue Mosque (uphill). Not the Ritz, but very nice for what it is.

Very happy

The only negative was the size of our room which was very small, that said the staff were lovely, very helpful and the amazing view of the mosque and the river from our room was worth putting up with the lack of space.

The Nest hotel is just in the middle of the old town market with salesmen literally crowding all the side streets around the Egyptian Bazzar. Very atmospheric but sort of being too much even for a tourist, I think. The rooms are nice and clean, all the basic amenities are here.

Amazing hotel with good location close to everything

Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. Gorgeous view from our room, picture doesn’t do it justice. Amazing breakfast with the view. We got to hotel super early and they were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 12pm. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there!

Lovely hotel, shame about the noise

I stayed at this hotel within the last week and overall had a positive experience. The hotel was comfortable and the staff were very nice. The room was also very clean, fresh towels were provided daily and everything was seamlessly spotless. However, there was a big downside. Our room had very little noise insulation (room 107). This was due to the glass inner wall. If someone walked in late at night and wanted to have a conversation with reception and you're trying to sleep, then this isn't going to help. When there's more than one reception worker and they are talking amongst themselves, again forget any chance of a decent sleep. We had friends staying on the same floor in a different room and they had no issues. And the hotel was fully booked so there wasn't a chance to change rooms. Despite these issues, I would still recommend this hotel for it's comfort, location, friendly staff, amazing breakfast views, and cleanliness. However try and avoid the rooms which are on the sides with the glass inner walls.

The staff were incredibly friendly and kind! They gifted me a box of Turkish delights at checkout which was a very nice touch and has made their service stand out. I had a front facing room to a very busy street but the outside sound was completely blocked out. Rooms were very nice and the 5th floor common space is incredible!

Fabulous!

Fabulous hotel in front of Spice Bazaar. Everything that you need is there. Even though outside of the hotel is a market but once you enter the hotel it is calm, relaxing and beautiful. The view at the restaurant is breathtaking. The room is very clean and smells so good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely going back to this hotel.

Good size room, staff were extremely accommodating and polite. Location was excellent, located in the the bazaar. Breakfast was also excellent, great variety. Amazing terrace, right next to the mosque. Would most definitely love to stay here again!

If yr planning on having your luggage dragged by yourself to the hotel and walking into a busy shops area book this place. As the entrance to the hotel is in between street vendors and be prepared to be overwhelmed by crowds around the door. The single rooms meaning if ur not in a room with a queen bed is facing the street vendors and u won’t be able to open the curtains.

Location is great, 1 minute walk from spice bazaar therefore so close to everything else. Rooms very small, not a lot of space for guest luggage. Bed very comfortable but quilt too small for bed. Shower great pressure but lot of mould along grout lines. They advertise balconies on all rooms but this is false, only couple of rooms have balconies, most don’t or have just a French balcony. We were informed on checkin that tea/coffee available 24 hours in terrace restaurant, to help ourselves…again false as was all turned off by about 10pm. Breakfast big selection, average quality, I only had breakfast once there and went elsewhere for remaining 2 days..prefer to pay money and enjoy my meal and coffee. Won’t stay again.

This hotel- mest hotel in Istanbul is AMAZING ! First class service and a genuine care to help !! I will DEFINITELY return anytime I’m staying in Turkey. The staff was amazing !!!!! And even though my layover was only 14 hours … I felt so pampered and cared for.

Excellent beautiful hotel centrally located next to the spice market. Amazing view from our room balcony overlooking a beautiful mosque and the bosphorus. Very well kept and very clean hotel. The room was very roomy and comfortable, all great amenities, very comfortable queen bed, very nice walk in shower. The hotel felt new but with old world charm at same time. The staff was amazing and we felt so welcome since we arrived and through our stay. Front desk staff very nice and professional, courteous, friendly and all spoke english very well. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a lot of delicious choices every morning, on a beautiful setting and with a spectacular view of the mosque and the Bosphorus. Our experience was great at Mest Hotel in every aspect. Hotel is located right at the heart of Spice Market, which allows visitors to experience Istanbul to the fullest surrounded by historical landmarks. Hotel building was a recently renovated historical building, spotless clean and professional service. The location is great for both walking around and public transport links. Would definitely stay here again!

I like the location cuz its close to the most beautiful places

The hotel room was charming and modern with a new bathroom and interesting details. Very clean. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were very nice. Unfortunately, we were told we had a balcony with our Superior Double but that wasn't the case. The terrace off the breakfast room has superior views of the grand mosque. I would stay again.
