Airport to hotel was a 30 second walk across from Arrivals to bus station (AP bus) that goes direct to city centre (three stops in the city outs was last) and ends in the main bus/train depot). 30 seconds walk across the road to the hotel. Great dining and shopping area.

Superior hotel. I will mention that on the second of my two nights there, hot water in the shower was not functioning.

This is a hidden gem for sure. Service was excellent. Staff went above and beyond. Rooms were very big, clean, modern and comfortable. Do yourself a favor: stay here!

Great Hotel in Katowice, Poland

The Mercure is a super cute hotel with a great lobby bar and a even better hotel breakfast. The rooms are clean and new and the bathroom products are great. They also have incredibly cozy beds. Definitely reccomend staying here the next time you are in Katowice!

Good to be back home

Located a few steps from Central Train Station with connections to almost everywhere in Europe. Only two years old but with excellent service, friendly staff and visiting town that is constantly changing is a plus

Zatrzymałem się tu na nieco ponad dwa tygodnie w październiku 2023. Personel był bardzo przyjazny i profesjonalny. Jedzenie w Winestone było bardzo dobre (zwłaszcza rolada), a dwie minuty spacerem do stacji kolejowej było niezwykle wygodne. Pokój był bardzo ładny, z podgrzewaną podłogą w łazience, dobrym widokiem na miasto i częstą i profesjonalną obsługą pokoju. Pomogli mi nawet poprawić moją znajomość języka polskiego. Jeśli kiedykolwiek ponownie odwiedzę Katowice, nie ma innego hotelu, w którym zatrzymałbym się.

Located right opposite the main railway station and bus terminal with plenty of shops restaurants cafes Spodek and NOSPR within walking distance. The historic Nikiszowiec district by bus terminal inside the train station. Clean and spacious standard double room and breakfast plentiful.

What an absolutely stunning, modern hotel that befits this modernised city. Very high quality on everything, including the many, many breakfast options, the very helpful staff and the well equipped rooms. Positioned perfectly to take advantage of the two sides of the city (old and new).

The bathroom sink and the counter around it are very narrow and there is almost no room to put two people's toiletries. Apart from that, the hotel is excellent in all respects In the restaurant, the duck leg portion was small and not respectable.

We had a lovely stay here at the Hotel Mercure. The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our first stay in Poland and would very happily come back here.

I had some problems with one of staff about a fire alarm drill — blonde lady at reception — her attitude was just plain wrong.The property is pretty new — rooms are fine — bathrooms are a bit tight. Property is in an excellent position very close to shopping and the railway station.

I loved this hotel. Very new and chic, and so central. Staff were very friendly. Basia from the bar made me a coffee, outstanding member of the team. Breakfast was really good. Liked the view from the gym, which was overlooking the city.

Die Lage ist perfekt, da man mit den öffentlichen überall gut hinkommen und man ist mitten in der Stadt. Die Zimmer sind verhältnismäßig groß. Die Ausstattung ist auch gut gewesen. Frühstück war ausreichend man hatte an kalten und warmen Speisen eine gute Auwahl. Rundum war es eine gute Erfahrung und wenn wir wieder in Katowice sind. Dann werden wir ganz sicher wieder hier übernachten. Das Hotelrestaurant ist auch sehr gut.

Veldig flott hotell

Flott hotell. Veldig god beliggenhet. Gode senger. Frokosten hadde alt man trenger. Muligheten til å velge om man ønsket vask av rommet fra dag til dag var noe vi satt pris på. Rommene var rene og pene. Vi hørte ikke noe bråk fra gaten selv om det lå rett ved stasjonen. En av grunnene til at dette hotellet ble valgt var lovnader om støytette rom, og det var som lovet.

Top neu sauber freundlich

Sehr angenehme und empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, nur die Betten waren für den persönlichen Geschmack viel zu weich und das Fenster ließ sich nicht öffnen, so dass wir auf die Klimaanlage angewiesen waren, was den Schlafkomfort doch etwas senkte.
