Hotel great EXPEDIA SUCKS!

Clean, friendly and acxomodating

Room was much smaller than were used to and beds were a bit odd as the mattress kept falling off the box spring but it was not uncomfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was fairly quiet but hotel was exceptionally located right n the middle of this vibrant city

This hotel is in a great neighborhood with convenient location and access to food, shopping district. Also the breakfast has lots of options. The room is clean and big. We stayed for four nights with an awesome experience.

This hotel is very convenient as it is just 2 train stop fr Sapporo Station. It is at a busy district with lots of restaurants & shops. I must compliment your staff Karim who is absolutely helpful & cheerful. Yi Wen also very helpful in directing us to our destinations. Overall we are very please our stay in your hotel. Will definitely recommend/promote your hotel to my friends. If only there are some daily day tours conducted by your hotel or merge with some travel agency for short tours for sightseeing will be a plus for yr hotel guests.

Near to many food and service establishments, walking distance to Nijio market and in between multiple railway lines. Beautiful hotel with great facilities. Will definitely come back again.

Property located 2 stops on Subway from Sapporo Station. Great selection of eating options around the hotel. Room was on the small side - shower over a bath but terrible shower head - a jet of water and not adjustable Very limited amenities.

The lighting was too dark in the room. Especially in the bathroom, the lightling was too dim and had yellow tint, which made putting on make up needlessly difficult.

Room was spacious like western style & clean similar like Hilton hotels. They were able to accommodate us in the same floor with my son’s room. Staffs at front desk were friendly & were able to recommend restaurant nearby that would accommodate 2yrs old grandson with cast in his legs.

My only negative feedback is that although I sent an email one month earlier to secure rooms next to each other as I am a single occupant with my family, the hotel did not action on it. even when I was willing to pay. this communication can be improved as the hotel said that they were full upon my request again at check in

I paid over $300.00 per night and felt like been robbed. The room is small and almost the entire hotel was occupied by tour group (probably due to the Snow Festival), I have to wait in line for an hour to get the breakfast. It was a terrible experience!

Great hotel, location, though beds are hard

We had a great stay at the Mercure Hotel. They have an excellent location in Susukino, so there are many restaurants close by. Our package included breakfast, which was very nice. Good variety and tasty. Also has bus service to ski areas The only negative in the hotel was that the beds were quite hard.

Great stay, they cleaned everyday for us, bc we had diapers. Breakfast was good, everyone used gloves. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, but a little chilly at times

Amazing location and hotel!

Excellent location right next to Ramen Alley, night clubs, and the train station so you can go anywhere from here. Lots of shopping around this area. The room was larger than most traditional Japanese hotels I’ve been to. Bed was really nice, bathroom was clean. The only thing I would change would be the pillows, they weren’t very comfy. Check in was fast and easy and the staff was very helpful and spoke english.

It was super cozy staying at Mercure Sapporo. The bath and toilet area is clean and it has a very nice and relaxing feel.

I'm very satisfied with the hotel very much.. There are gym facility in the hotel as well, I really like it. Lunch & bar is also great, various food and dessert. However I didn't manage to try the breakfast cause I alway woke up late haha. There's convenience store nearby as well so it's good to get midnight snack. Staff service is also great. One thing that I really feel satisfied is room design. color, furniture, they are all matched together. If there's next time I'm going to try the breakfast, dinner for sure

The location is great. Walkable distance to Tanukikoji Shopping street, Nijo market and lots of shopping and dinning places at susukino. Two stops away from Sapporo station and can take either Namboku or Toho lines back to hotel. There is also a airport shuttle bus nearby and is very convenient as it goes straight to airport. Definitely will go back to this hotel the next time.

good location. room is quite spacious. they gave us complimentary drinks coupon, however due to a private event we had to bring our drinks somewhere else to drink. nonetheless, will stay again.

very close to Susokino entertainment district. Perfect for restaurants and shopping. Close to entry to underground city walkway. Shuttle bus on the hour in the morning is convenient to take you and luggage to Japan Rail station for onward journeys. Would recommend JR to get between New Chitose airport and Sapporo.

Weeks before we arrive Sapporo, we sent email to hotel to ask them helping us to book restaurants in Sapporo. But hotel staff replied that they would not do so until we check-in despite the fact that my booking was non-redundable and could not be cancelled. Their reason was "due to previous experience". For very popular restaurants, advanced booking is a must to secure seats. So if you want hotel staff to help you book in advance, choose another hotel though hotel location is very good.

Total disappointment... The front office manager make a huge mistake by over charge me of 10k yen instead of 8.3k yen. I am using youtrip card ( a cash top up debit card) and because of their mistake, the whole trip my fund is stuck and ended up I had to use my credit card to settle the bills..( meaning a higher interest). Instead of feeling sorry , the front office manager given me a rude attitude during our check out. I can't believe such behaviour appear in a so-called 4 star hotel. No apologise, nothing from the hotel, just giving me the simple excuses, the staff is trainee ... That's all. Won't recommend this hotel to all my friends and relatives.. 0 rating ..

Very nice at all. Close to shopping street and train station, which is very convenient to access other area.

Location is less than 1min walking distance to subway. Another subway which is on the left, is less than 3 min. Bus stop (to New Chitosei Airport) is less than 3 min walking. Walking distance to the market, shopping areas and parks as well. Room is clean and spacious. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Check -in and out were very fast. Recommend.

Amazing but improvements required

Amazing 5 nights stay for me... Great and fast service in check-in and check-out. Great housekeeping too. However, shuttle bus service needs some improvement so that those hotel guests using this service can have a more memorable stay as Japanese are well known for their excellent service. Buffet breakfast also needs some improvement as only 1 food item was changed during my stay and it was the egg soup. The egg soup was way much better and more delicious than the corn soup.

Location is great, just right next to the subway or a 25 mins walk from the Sapporo JR. Great view from my rooms of the Susukino area.

The hotel is positioned well to do local shopping and a short taxi ride to the Sapporo beer garden to do bbq lunch and all you can drink. Whiteliner bus also picks up in the morning from hotel to travel direct out to Niseko ski fields if you are staying out there. Also bus from Chitose airport drops off around corner about 500m from Mercure hotel. Bus from Chitose airport is caught from front of domestic terminal to suskino bus stop in Sapporo for 1100 yen per adult, then a short walk to hotel Mercure.

Small rooms !! Super small lobby No help with luggage ... no free parking

Good location and front staff. Downside is hotel very busy, full of foreign tourist who can be pretty loud as demanding.

Mercure is a very nice hotel surrounded by shopping malls, restaurants, and shops. It is suitable for families. Additionally, breakfast is delicious. However, the bathtub and the shower area should be separated from each other.

Overall very good hotel in Sapporo in terms of priced performance. The only issue was about the insufficient number of elevators between the ground floor and the lobby.

Wind down vacation

Location is superb, near to lots of food! Hot water shower would be perfect if water is hotter.

I was happy with the location of the hotel, we were able to get the bus from the airport and the bus stop was less than 100m from the hotel. We were near 2 train stations, the undercover shopping mall and underground shopping arcade.

Bigger room than other hotels in Japan

The room and the restroom is big and full of baht accessories. They have a free shuttle bus to JR Station.
