The Hotel is fantastic. The room, the bathroom and the breakfast were super. However one thing that needs to be improved. The access to the hotel is through a stone access (damage and in very bad shape). One of my group broke the luggage wheel. I would suggest to the Hotel, they should install a steel ramp to facilitate the accessibility.

I chose this hotel because I wanted to be near the Douro River. I didn’t have a lot of expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is super clean and I felt safe. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They don’t have room service but they do offer pastries, espresso and water (where they serve breakfast) throughout the day and night.

Rooms are clean. Shower is excellent.

Lovely hotel close to the river

Terrific gem with fantastic location close to the river. Lovely continental breakfast and love the pastries available all day. Nice little touches made for wonderful stay.

The hotel was marvelous! The staff were all so friendly, helpful with suggestions and making sure our stay was perfect! The breakfast was outstanding! The location of the hotel was on the River.

I had four rooms. Everyone in my family love it. It has a great bed, pillow, big bathroom and great location. The only things that they need to improve is to add a ramp in the front for the luggage (the side walk and stair are a little hard to navigate with heavy luggage).

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. Great location near the river, very attentive staff - Louis was great. The room was nice, bed a bit too soft for us, and breakfast good. Also the offering of coffee, tea and cake throughout the day is a nice touch

Great location, quiet position by river, but only 2 minutes walk to large number of restaurants and bars. Complimentary homemade cakes available every afternoon.

Very clean hotel, breakfast very delicious. Only thing I don’t like is getting picked up. And hotel has no airport transportation.

Great staff all were helpful and couldn’t do enough! All staff could speak English. convenient location. Room was lovely, clean and slept well. The hotel is right by the river and several places to eat nearby. I would recommend and definitely stay here again when in Porto.

It was a bit challenging getting suitcases up yo the front door but the hotel was in a great location.

Hotel is directly on the river and in the middle of all activities. Great view of Gaia across the River. Luis at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel!

Fantastic hotel, perfect location right by the river and heart of Porto and right by the tram. Really lovely staff, lovely new and comfortable rooms and modern bathrooms. Would totally recommend!

The staff was great, even arranged a van to the airport for us without asking. Breakfast was yummy. The rooms were spacious and clean. Very near the waterfront was easy walking.

Fabulous Porto.

The hotel was in a great part of Porto within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Upon arrival we were greeted with a glass of port wine. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very unique as was the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. We strongly recommend the hotel.

The hotel is located in a great location down by the river. The rooms are clean and modern. The breakfast had a wonderful selection and the staff was very helpful. The down side is that there is no parking or easy access to drop off luggage and it would be difficult for anyone who may have mobility issues.

Enchanting Porto

A great location overlooking the music-filled Riberia Square and the enchanting Duoro River. The close proximity to many small, cozy restaurants and their family-style cooking added to the joy and excitement of our visit. The front-desk was very professional and helpful, particularly Luis P.

The twin beds were comfortable but way too narrow. Not normal sized twin beds. The hotel was very historic and beautifully renovated. And convenient to restaurants.

The hotel and staff were great. The restaurants and eating places close to the hotel were not great. we were unlucky that the weather was terrible and this probably didn't help.

Excellent property in the heart of everything, walkable to all areas around Porto, the tram stop is outside the door and there is a taxi stand across the road, the hotel looks newly renovated and everything is clean and modern, nice breakfast included also, will stay again on our next visit to Porto

The location and service were terrific. The room was clean and beautiful. I had to leave early in the morning to catch my flight. They packed me breakfast before I took off. I highly recommend this hotel!

We loved Porto and this hotel made our stay extra special. The room was very nice, bed comfortable, great shower and partial riverview. We were located in a great area with a taxi stand across the street. A nice breakfast was included and all the staff were friendly and helpful. If I am ever fortunate enough to return to Porto, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Room was clean and big enough. Staff was excellent, breakfasts were good. Hotel is on the river with Metro and trolley right outside.

Great location

First impressions had to walk a distance from where can drops off . I am handicapped triaging my luggage was a battle. But once we walked in the door Esibella was exceptional

In addition to having a convenient & central location, the staff at Memoria Porto FLH is top notch; from offering to book car services to assisting with lost luggage reception, the staff went above & beyond to serve their clients. We heartily recommend staying at this hotel for anyone traveling to Porto.

My only complaint was we didn’t know how to adjust the thermostat. Therefore, the room was too hot at night. Also, the air didn’t circulate leaving the bathroom humid following a shower.

We loved our three night stay at Memoria Porto. The staff treated us like royalty and our room overlooked the Douro River. One tip, we can offer is to take the # 500 bus to the coast and pay a lot less for authentic Portugese food, wine, and beer. We will definitely be back. The morning breakfast was filling and delightful.

This was an excellent choice for our short stopover in Porto. So close to everything. The staff was amazing and the room was fantastic. #207 had a view of the river. Bed was very comfortable and the amenities were great. This is the embodiment of a little modern boutique hotel.

Great hotel

Well located hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Free coffee and cake available from about 2PM as you check in. Good sized room. Hotel is actually a part of the historic St. Francis church, so large stone walls in the lobby and restaurant area.

Charming hotel, right next to the river making it very conveniently located but with good windows so it’s wasn’t loud. Our room had a cute balcony and views of the river. I’m pick about my pillows but the bed was quite possibly the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept on which was much needed as we spent the last couple nights of our long trip there and were able to sleep like babies. Staff was very friendly, decent continental breakfast (had everything but scrambled eggs/made to order). I want to know where they get their croissants from cause they were incredible, all the bread was. Every afternoon they left out fresh cakes and cookies that were available into the evening and made the perfect midnight snack. 10/10 would absolutely stay there again!

Everything an everyone was wonderful!

The room was excellent. It overlooked the river with great views. The area was easy to walk to a variety of restaurants and sights. However, the hotel was up on a hill and there were a lot of steep hills in the area. Not good for those who have difficulty walking or in a wheelchair. Nice breakfast.

The property was in a super location, close to the river and to the centre of Porto. The staff were very helpful - would highly recommend.

Such a homie and comfortable place to stay and to enjoy the experience of Porto! Very near to all the good restaurants, and a very beautiful canal to add the beauty of staying here. The only problem is just the parking area since they don’t have any. But it’s okay, Porto in general is small and hard to find car park. We love the place and Luiz has been an amazing help!! It is a fantastic place in the heart of Old Town, with very helpful staff and a great breakfast, the only difficulty is parking (it is very expensive in the parking garage).

Very central to what we wanted to do. Excellent facilities and vsery helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Using your keycard to turn on the lights and power in the room takes some getting used to but it is environmentally friendly and the hotel seems concerned in a good way with the issus.
