Great location. A bit disappointed on the quality of breakfast buffet - not as robust as in prior years.

I would stay here again for meetings in the area.

Excellent Stay

Melia Hotel is my only choice to stay in Paris since long time. Friendly staff, clean place, and quiet neighborhood.

Service

Staff was very helpful and kind. But half of the elevators didn't work. When I checked out I didn't have any problem to walk down the stares from 6th. But other on higher floors had to wait for quite some time after elevators.

I’ve gotta give it to the staff…..EACH & EVERY interaction I had with them was absolutely superb! They were very knowledgeable about the area, gave great advice, & were SO friendly while doing it! I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Paris! 10 out of 10 recommend!

Le doy un 10 a este hotel, super cómodo para coger el metro, literalmente bajas las escaleras y esta ahi, los empleados siempre muy amables y con disposición para ayudarnos y recomendarnos, los lugares.

The AC wasn’t working in my room, I reported it twice and they never sent anyone to fix it (as I was told) At the gym a piece of 2 usd was broken, so it wasn’t possible to use the machine for two different exercises. No one is taking care of the maintenance of it. It’s a shame!

I stayed for 8 nights on a business trip. The hotel was convenient to where I had daily meetings and the hotel staff at the desk were very nice. However, the shower in my room was scalding nearly everyday with only one day where the cold water worked to make showering more pleasant. The cold water in the sink was also inconsistent. It worked less than half the time. There were two nights where there people arguing late at night and on one occasion a woman was screaming in the hall. It sounded like security did arrive. The rooms are quite spartan which is fine but they don't have wash cloths. The downstairs bar closes early at 10 p.m. I suggest staying elsewhere.

Nice place

Very accessible and good !

The overall stay was superb. There was too much good stuff...just know that if you stay here, you wont want to stay anywhere else...it was absolutely. Arvelous...frim the staff,room, service, food,drinks, and most of all...helpfulness. 10 out of 10 for their service in any requests we had and even went out of their way to help us navigate the city during the Olympics. One example: we came back late one evening and thebar / lounge was still open. We walked in at 10 52. We looked at the menu, resigned to the belief that we couldnt order anything given the restaurant closed at 11. Without us even asking, the restaurant manager asked if we would like anything, and allowed us to ord we r dinner and drinks within 7 minutes prior to closing. Understand...we did not request this service...it was offered. That alone would make me come back and stay there again. The experience was nothing short of fabulous.

Clean and easy access to the city

Had a great time at Meliá. Really great hotel, me and my girlfriends trip was made a lot more enjoyable by this hotel

All was great

We stayed at this property because it’s within walking distance to La Défense Arena-the staff was very friendly and very helpful with everything-we would definitely stay here again!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, we would highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is in the financial district, we felt very safe exploring and in the evening. Lots of restaurants and the arena for us was a 15 minute walk.

Fantastic vacation

Thank you, Meliá Paris La Defense, for a beautiful vacation. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly pleasant and helpful. Our room was perfect and we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. My son sat up at his bedside every night admiring it, which will always be a beautiful memory for me. The location was great for us, with easy access to the Metro so we were easily able to explore the city. We also found many things to do around the Esplande and Grand Arch area. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will plan on using other Meliá properties for our future travels. I could not be more pleased.

Our room was perfect and we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. My son sat up at his bedside every night admiring it, which will always be a beautiful memory for me. The location was great for us, with easy access to the Metro and we found many things to do around the Esplande and Grand Arch area. Beautiful, clean and updated property. Staff was excellent. The complementary 1st and last night treats were a nice touch.

Good overall

Stay was amazing the level rooms are the best with Eifel tower view. The staff were amazing in our level dining area And Selena was very helpful . Ill recomend the Melia La Defence to anyone. Thank you for your kindness during our stay.

It’s not good at all dirty bathrooms they don’t have windows to refresh the oxygen the room are smelly to very limited parking…

Excellent and attentive staff...

Extremely helpful staff! They immediately responded to the issues I am highlighting below. An A/C system that was difficult to control with instructions only in French (the staff had to come twice to address) and not enough pressure in the sink and shower. Both of these were addressed by the tremendously helpful staff of the Melia. What couldn't be addressed because it is due to the poor architectural design of the building is the wasted space in the suite (hence why the hotel despite its efforts cannot be considered eco-friendly) and no sink in the toilet closet forcing you to have to go around to the main bathroom to wash your hands.

The media la defense was beautiful staff were lovely but it was expensive in the skybar really expensive

I liked the quality of the hotel and everything was fine. The only minor complaint was with the elevators and key cards....had to get the cards reset a fee times. Also the hotel should provide washcloths.

Beautiful property. Very friendly and professional staff. We loved our stay at this hotel. Staff was very accommodating and Helpful as this was our first time in Paris. Stunning and perfect location. Easy to get to popular attractions.

No body lotion in the rooms

The hotel is good , though bear in mind that downside of the hotel is there isn't any body lotion in the room, extremely annoying!

Loved the close proximity to the main metro line. Will consider the hotel again in the future.

Very close to public transportation.

Overall, the hotel is having a major opportunities in two key areas. 1) the staff was careless. We have booked a taxi to airport and confirmed twice. Yet, they said there was no booking only 15 mins before our time to leave to airport. 2) the water pressure in bathroom was a total suffering.

No time to waste

Sure

I had heard stories from people about how dirty and unsafe Paris can be. My experience was the totally opposite! This place was clean and beautiful including the surrounding area. The staff members that greeted us during check in/out were fantastic. The location is very close to metro which allows you access the entire area of Paris. I would stay here again hands down!

The staff is amazing, eager to help, especially Olivia:). The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable to sleep.

Bad service for the price

No hot water at all in my room at 7 am ! And solution proposed has been to go one floor down to take a shower ! Crazy! Nobody apologize ! Just incredible For 200€ hôtel not acceptable

Convenience and comfort

Hotel and room are very comfortable. We had to wait almost 3 hours for our room to be ready. The receptionist was curious that she offered us to wait in the club lounge.

Hotel was very nice. Room was really hot and aircon seemed to do nothing, but they sent a facilities guy up in minutes to take a look and fixed the settings. Excellent transport links into the city. Had a great view over the city with Eiffel Tower in the distance. La Defense area itself is a building site, but caused no issues and no noise.

We loved "The Level" and the subway proximity. It was easy to get to Paris and back to the hotel. Everyone at the hotel was attentive and willing to assist with anything we needed.

Gym is bad. Bedroom is clean, but bathroom could use a few touch ups. Staff is nice. There is a feeling that something is lacking to make it great, but it remains a nice hotel I would go back to, hopefully with a better gym.

Good deal

Location is very good. Very close to Metro station. Breakfast is one of the best. Room is very clean, but water pressure was on the low side.

Very average. Service levels are very poor and so are the impolite behaviours if the staff. The restaurant has no variety - not even the listed items from the menu ! Location is convenient and good.

Amazing hotel, staff and location.

Worst experience ever

The last weekend I had the worst experience in my life with a hotel at Melia La Defense. We arrived at 1pm and could easily check in. The problem was that when we arrived at the rooms they were not cleaned. All the mess and trash left by the previous guests were there. Back at the reception it was guaranteed that it was a communication problem between housekeeping and reception, because in their system the room was mentioned as cleaned. We are asked to wait a couple of hours for the room to be cleaned and disinfected because they did not have other rooms to our family. We decide to go explore the city and at 10pm, nine hours later, when we arrived back we received the keys for the same rooms from reception. When we opened the room’s doors we were in shock to found out they were not cleaned! They were exactly the same mess as in the afternoon. Disgusting, disappointing, upsetting! Back at the reception they apologized and found new rooms in some minutes. Nothing else besides this to compensate our frustration, disappointment and, for now on, lack of trust in the hotel services. Indeed it is a shame, because true to be told, the hotel is very well located and has comfortable and spacious rooms.

The Staff were completely unfriendly and not willing to help. Parking was charged for separately; it was very difficult to find the location and the staff when called did nothing to assist. They said park in a parking lot and catch the nearest metro to get to the hotel.

Amazing

The services were of a very high standard, the staff very professional and very good, always helpful at all hours, the view from our room was splendid. I recommend this hotel with confidence, we will definitely return

I always stay at melia La defense Paris. Its my preferred hotel in oaris. Convenient locstion just nesr the metto, contemporary hotel design , Amina, the lady therecalways attends to my requests, very nice manner, profesdional and redpectful. I would definitely recommend mdlia la defense to all ky family and friends when they visit Paris

Very bad service, because there is no mini bar and the fridge is not working and no water in the room only one small water.

Great & consistently!

Modern contemporary hotel, with beautiful interiors, and a high degree of cleanliness and very good service. The property is nicely 100 meters away from the metro station. Restaurants, breakfast, and rooftop lounge offered very high quality food and service. The only inconvenience is the cumbersome access by car.

All good, but the bar closed already at midnight. Would be good if it could be open until 1am

Modern quiet well located hotel. As you exit the M1 train (to all the main attractions), the hotel is at the top of the escalator - so nice and convenient - located just across the river in the business district so quite - the area is nice for walking around at night with some cool outdoor art. Staff friendly but not very informed. We had the Eiffel Tower view - quite nice. However, the heat/AC control on the bed posts didn't work (two rooms) and calls to the front desk were dismissed as a user problem while they said they didn't have anyone available to come adjust or fix it. So it was either too hot or too cold the entire 4 nights in both rooms. They need to upgrade their staff and fix the heat/AC issue, but otherwise this is a lovely clean hotel well positioned on the main train line just outside of the Arc de Triomphe / Champs - Elysees.

A nice modern hotel with a very good location.

A really nice modern hotel at La Défense district with a panoramic view of Eiffel tower. The rooms are so comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good especially the omlettes by lovely chef Ahmed. The metro line number 1 is right outside the hotel. We had some troubles at the check-in and we were assigned an already booked room, but our frustration was well handled by Bilal at the reciption who did everything he could to make it up for us. I would like also to thank Sophia at the reception for changing our room in the middle of our stay to a room with a bathtub.

Amazing. Make sure you book with breakfast and at the level suites

Beautiful hotel, we ate breakfast every morning which was delicious. Excellent location, close to the metro and amazing shopping!
