Melia resort is good clean excellent ambience and exceptional servuce staff. Only negative this is far from danang city centre hence need to arrange your own transport and there is no shuttle bus to city from hotel.

We loved our stay at Melia DaNang. As it is the off season there was a bit of maintenance required around the place but was still kept very clean. We were very impressed with the staff all very helpful and happy to be at work, in particular the Bar supervisor Viet, Gnan from the restaurant and An from customer service were all extremely friendly, helpful and really wanted to serve and learn from us. Beautiful beachside property with amazing rooms and pools. Certain common facilities such as gym and spa’s thermal jacuzzi are not great in condition or cleanliness but still usable.

Truly a 5-star experience! Hotel room was super clean and had everything we needed. The amenities, including the spa, gym, pool and kids club were top-notch. What stood out the most was the customer service. Wanted to give a big thank you to Trang at Han River restaurant, Jessi at Kidsdom and Tiffany at the front desk for going above and beyond and taking care of us. This is truly a hotel that will make you feel special and a “home away from home.” Will definitely be back! We missed out on touring Hue Imperial City but we will make this our home base when we return.

Just got back to Los Angeles from 9 nights at this beautiful hotel. I can't say enough about it and its staff. Everybody is extremely helpful and friendly. Absolutely wonderful. From the pickup at the airport, to check-in, to my wonderful room and the beautiful pool and ocean access. Nhi & Uyên....always checking on my comfort and stay. Very attentive and professional. Thank you. Housekeeping staying on top of my room needs was great. Really enjoyed their surprise snacks, sweets, and fruit plates. Mr. Hung, the director of food and beverage, and his entire staff of people working the bars and restaurants, were extremely kind and genuinely concerned about my overall satisfaction. While it looks like some parts of the facility are still under construction, with the nearby area still severely underdeveloped, the resort itself was immaculate with two beautiful pools and the perfect beach setting with unlimited access to sports equipments and a great gym. We had fun playing basketball, soccer and volleyball by the beach and enjoyed a delicious hamburger by the poolside (wish they had more Vietnamese food options such as a Banh Mi or Pho like they had plentifully at the breakfast buffet.) There are many newly developing resorts nearby but would still love to visit Melia again.

The staff were very lovely. If you are a family, you need a Level room. They are very good. The beach is beautiful and the breakfast was very good. It’s an easy distance from the airport and the Marble Mountain is easy walking distance which was a really great way to spend a morning.

It's a great place to rest and recharge. Breakfast buffet options were plentiful and fresh. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The beach was clean but cannot be used because of high waves.

I really must say, after all the resorts i have visited, the entire staff from front desk, to room cleaners, bar tenders, roaming staff, and especially the dining room staff, are all simply amazing. You can feel their sincerity in their voices when you are being helped. There is nothing fake about this property employees. "Good" people in general, will feel the experience in their hearts when they relax and just take it all in. Bless these people when they have to deal with rude, self centered, and people who think they are always entitled. They speak their language, if it is difficult for you to deal with and or understand, go somewhere else. Best resort by far that I have had the pleasure to stay at.

Some of the staff members were super helpful, polite and kind. Especially I would like to say thank to Ms Hang, Ms Jasmine and Mr Tan. These staff members made our stay more special. The infinite pool is so beautiful and the beach has the most peaceful view I ever had. Every afternoon, we used the pool and it was the perfect way to finish up each day. We stayed 6 nights and every day the breakfast was full of variety selection. One thing I suggest to change is let the Grab drivers drop the delivery to the reception area especially when the weather is so bad.

The hotel offers good structure and access to the beach. However, the reception staff are terrible at solving problems, they do not contribute to helping guests, there is no communication between them, management does not care about guest problems. The pool and beach staff are wonderful. I do not recommend the hotel for Europeans, especially with children - restaurants do not facilitate food for children.

We booked the Level Villa, Premium Room. It was one of the worst resort hotels we had ever been to. The entrance door was rusted, and the room was dirty and old. The tv didn’t work, room carpet was extremely dirty. The hair dryer was rusted and didn’t work. The bathtub has bugs in it. The bathroom handle was sticky and sprayed everywhere. The service is very unprofessional, I asked if I can change to another room but was completely ignored because they were busy with phone calls coming in. We didn’t mind downgrading to another room since our booking is nonrefundable. But no offer was made, I’m extremely disappointed.

Everything at the hotel was extraordinary!!

Totally it is nice and comfortable stay at Melia Resort. After taking shower, water did not drain well. Except this, every thing is great!

I'd double check before booking, some things are misleading. Hotel may have 7 restaurant/bars on the property but only 1 is currently open. Resort had hardly any people during our stay in March and they booked everyone on one floor which also brings up how thin the walls are. Could hear everything going around us in the neighbouring room. On our last night we got back to our room after the room was cleaned to find a few things missing, at the time we thought it was only my girlfriends birth control pills but after flying back home the next morning we discovered also some of her make up/ female products also went missing. I will no longer be staying at any of their resorts, shame too as i like their resort in Cuba. Book one of the other many resorts in that area instead.

The nastiest condition since opening.

Our luggage did not arrive but the Melia staff were very attentive to our needs and took care of us very well. Thanks to the team involved.

Service was great. Only issue was that all of the f&b facilities were closed due to covid. Had to go out to the city centre for food or order in for most of the days.

Great facilities.

This is a very nice hotel with many facilities. There are lovely swimming pools, situated by a wonderful beach. The gym was good with nice view of pool & beach whilst working out. Spa area has sauna, steam room & jacuzzi plus the option to have many types of massage treatments. The staff were lovely. My only small criticism (very small) was the distance to Danang City centre. Though Marble Mountain is a short walk from hotel.

The staff and facilities were great. The separate comfortable check in of the LEVEL was amazing. The pools and grounds were great. The Gym was good. I did not like the buffet at Cap Nao. The food was too cold being outside in the brisk evening breeze. The food should be inside and over warmers. The Cleaners need to do a proper cleaning at least every other day.

Good, but give "the level" a miss

Very nice overall - although the construction was a bit loud. However, the reason for my score is that we paid a lot of extra money for the "level" package, as we had done this before at the Melia resort in Bali. To our disappointment, the level was not on the same "level" -- screaming children everywhere, no real sense of being special, no free food or drinks other than in the level lounge, and at certain times.... If you want to stay here, for a normal booking its great, but I dont recommend paying the extra money for the level.. its not worth it in my opinion.

This hotel was terrible. There were no people it was a ghost town and beach was closed. We didn’t see any other people the whole time which made us only last 1 night. They were not helpful in the cancelling process. Breakfast was mediocre and their was nothing to do in the resort. Would not stay here again.

Was perfect. The level rooms have evening cocktails and noon tea included. The choice was good.

Had a great stay at the Melia again! Friendly staff and efficient service. The room was clean and in nice condition. I also enjoy the breakfast buffet that is offered at the hotel. The gym is very nice and good for a quick workout. The hotel has a wonderful selection of swimming pools.

Dated property but undergoing improvements. Sometimes cleaners didn’t fully clean up and under the bed looked like it had never been cleaned. On site restaurants were poor quality and at Cape Nao they didn’t even know what cuts of steak they were serving and to what table

The staff were more than accommodating and ensured that the room was ready before the allowed check in time. Rooms were beautiful and clean. We took the upgrade offer for the first night. I wasn't impressed with the afternoon tea-thought that there were quote poor choices and no pastries as advertised. But the breakfasts were great.

I arrived very late for check-in and this resort, but after some room issues, I was helped by the check-in manager, Ms Ha, who went out of her way to ensure that I was happy at the resort. I cannot fault the room that I had and would advise anyone to book the Level Villas as the location and rooms are splendid. The beach is the best in this area and better than the adjoining 5 Star hotels nearby. The pool staff and the lifeguards looking after the swimmers were excellent, so many names to mention. The resort is being expanded, and some more hotels are being built nearby. I fear that this is going to spoil the charm of this resort. It caters really well for families as well as couples. It price of drinks and food could be reviewed or included in a package to ensure that the beach restaurants and bars are used all the time. I would also like to see 1/2 board facilities and or free minibar offered as part of a package like some resorts do. Overall, from the experience I personally received and the room I had, I can only give this resort a five star review.

Need more attention and staff

May be we were unlucky but we got no help with our luggage upon both check in and departure. I have never experienced this in Asia. The male reception desk keep asking very personal questions that was inappropriate. There seem a lack of leadership although individuals were very nice. The positives were the beach and the pool, very good.

Everything was good till the last night they ruined what they have done. We called for two baskets of ice and they said we had to wait for 30 mins because of Hotel was holding a BBQ, we didn’t complained but ice never came. Besides, it needs golf cart to transport from lobby to my villa but hotel staff said they needed two hours to recharge the battery....

It was extremely comfortable, the spa massages were great and everyone was very friendly (important to me as I was travelling alone). The upgrade to Level was definitely worth it.

Great pools, gym facilities and restaurant options, especially Cape Nao Restaurant. Enjoyed the happy hour sessions at the level lounge. Yhi spa was also great - visited twice during our 3-nights stay. Could improve breakfast choice/quality and wish there was more recreational activities. Our toilet flush was out of order one morning but was fixed same day. Overall a wonderful stay!

Lovely hotel for a relaxing stay.

The resort is lovely. It has a private beach, two big swimming pools (if not part of The Level club) and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. There is very little nearby in terms of restaurants but it's walking distance to the Marble Mountains and easy to taxi to the heart of Danang for meals out in the evening. I definitely would recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway.

They are building a new hotel on the site, there is noise. The main part of the hotel is dated. There is no courtesy room in which to have a shower after check out, for a beach hotel this is poor. You can have a shower at the spa but you have to pay for the privilege. Breakfast is average.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Melia Da Nang. It is a very well balanced resort with excellent, well trained and courteous staff at all levels....rooms are comfortable (stayed in the Levels) without being overly ostentatious. breakfast was excellent and the additional afternoon teas and afternoon snacks well presented. Room service was excellent. Tours were enjoyable but you felt slightly "on the clock" but us tourists must be herded sometimes. I managed to fit in some enjoyable golf at the nearby Montgomery links course....so Dad, Mum and the kids all left very happy and wanting to stay longer than the 5 days we originally booked. I would recommend Melia and compliment the staff and management on their commitment to making sure we enjoyed ourselves

A pleasant stay

Overal a pleasant stay. We would definitely come back. Went on national holiday but the place was so quiet and somehow not crowded at all. Cant tell how much we loved the atmosphere. Reasonable pricing and happy hour promotion re food. We had fries and margarita at the pool and loved it! Several pools and very clean Some suggestions for the hotel - you should probably consider some colorful flowers instead of all green :) also, beware that the bathroom and bedroom are not separated

We were upgraded to The Level room which is much spacious and closer to the pool. Though there are 3 restaurants, only Cape Nao serves good a la cart dishes. We highly appreciate the waitress’s help, especially Loan to take our takeaway order and deliver it to our room at 10pm. We originally wanted to try the daily activities but most of them are not held because no one joined. The hotel provides shuttle bus services to Ba Na hill and HoiAn old town, but as there is no one taking since bus to Ba Na Hill, the front desk suggested us to take fixed charge taxi which is even cheaper and more flexible than shuttle bus.

宿泊したビル棟の部屋は広々して清潔でしたが、ベランダがなく水着を干す場所がない点と、シャワールームに扉もあり床に僅かな段差もあるもののシャワーの湯が外の洗面室に流れ出してしまう点が不便でした。クリーニングは普通のコースでも半日で仕上がってきました。

Beach beauty

What a gorgeous hotel. We loved the personalized service, the myriad activities, and of course the beach. A bit out of the way for downtown Danang, but that’s kind of the point. Stayed in a Level villa and would definitely recommend the experience. Grounds staff were so friendly. The food was decent, not spectacular. We had a great meal at Cape Nao, but the other restaurants were middling.

Great beach front with lots of beach chairs on the beach and around the pools. Great client service from Arturo!! He corrected my booking mistake which allowed me to enjoy a great vacation at the resort.

Average short trip

Had a good time but we’ve been disappointed by the worn condition of the room. Lots of little dings in the floors, the furniture tired, the bathroom in need of a deep clean. Very inconsistent service and house keeping. Pools and beach are nice but if you look around you’ll find resorts in better condition along the beach from Da Nang to Hoi An!

A great four star stay.

The Meliá Da Nang Resort is a beautiful property on the beach just a short taxi ride from downtown Da Nang. We booked a “family” room configured with a king bed and one single. The room was very large and also featured a sofa, desk and mini bar. The large shower was very refreshing and the double sink made it easy for three people to get ready to go out. The pool and beach staff were helpful and food and drinks were readily available. The includedbreakfast in the Market Place restaurant was fresh and plentiful. A good choice at a reasonable price.

Melia Hotel is a beach front hotel with excellent customer service. We have a sea view room, but it is partially blocked by a construction of their new building.

Hotel staff is nice. Environment is good. Only the area around without nice restaurant I booked the delux habitacion room, they didn’t arrange for me at the beginning.they changed after I ask.

The room is clean. Manager has kindly upgraded us to a bigger room with a Seaview upon request. Given the rainy season, we were stuck in hotel and this gesture is greatly appreciated. Melia has its own private beach which is really beautiful(when not raining). They also have an inifinty swimming pool too which allows you to swim with a beach view. The service is good and everyone greeted with a smile. A good escape from the city, will come back again for vacation!

Room, swimming pool, all other facilities - clean, spacious, nice. Staff - super kind, responsive, always smiling. Private beach - well maintained. Location - quiet, close to marvel mountains but almost no restaurant within walking distance. Breakfast buffet - very good with variety of tasty food. There was a construction going on within the property near the main tower and the noise bothered during daytime. So we got upgraded to Level villa which were premium grade rooms on beach side and the Level area was very quiet. The construction will be completed within some months they said.

There was NOTHING about this resort I did not like. The lobby and grounds are beautiful and beautifully maintained. The pools are sparkling and perfect for enjoying a relaxing time in the water. Our room in the Levels was so comfy. It was beautifully designed and decorated, large, and the beds were great. I particularly loved the huge outdoor shower and the Molton Brown products provided. The breakfast buffet was plentiful-so many choices. We ate at two of the resort’s restaurants and ordered room service a few times. All the food was delicious. The beach was clean and great for watching waves. I really hated to leave.

Love the beach, but room is a bit dated, and check in/ out is inflexible and very slow. Reception insisted rooms are full so they could not grant late checkout, but I could still see rooms for reservation online. I took almost one hour to get my check out completed.

Noisey

Most noisiest hotel I haves ever stayed in due to the design of the place. Pool was amazing Emailed reservations to advise about the noise but they just decided not to reply.

Hidden oasis

We stayed in the level room. Our room was amazing and in a great location as it was close to the pool, spa and the new cape neo which is basically exclusive for the level guests. The tapas and drinks for the level guests of an afternoon was a highlight. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely with two basins and the outdoor shower was really nice and refreshing. The staff in the level check in were helpful with tour bookings and any other questions we had. The resort itself is stunning however, it is pretty far away from anything except for marble mountain and requires either a taxi or a tour guide to go anywhere including other restaurants or sites. The shuttle bus to Hoi An was good and relatively cheap for small groups. Taxis wait outside resorts so arrive quickly.

Relaxing Oasis in Vietnam. Pool was immaculate, staff very helpful. The room was very clean and large. We had a wonderful stay in this hotel for 3 days. The breakfast buffet was extensive and very wonderful. Can’t wait to go back.

Stay at Melia Da Nang

Had a nice stay at the Melia Da Nang Hotel. The staff are very pleasant and nice. The property is also well maintained and clean. The one recommendation I would make for the hotel staff is to vacuum up the gym area from time to time instead of mopping. Hair and dust remained on the floor after housekeeper came with a mop.

Wonderful stay

Me and my husband had wondrrful stay in melia, stayed for 6nights, overall nothing to complain. Nice pool, beautiful beach, clean room, friendly staffs and we really enjoyed breakfast very much. The location would be better, but it was ok using Grab app. Will stay in Melia again, if we can manage another visit to Danang.

Amazing people great location - 10 minutes to Danang beach north and twenty minutes to Hoi An to the south. People at the resort so so friendly and helpful - Prices at the hotel are excellent and the food at the restaurants was amazing...

Average stay at new 4 star resort

New 4 star resort that still has some little kinks to iron out. Staff were friendly and spoke excellent English but i felt at times there were lapses in coordination and communication. Check in at 3pm was delayed as the room was not ready, and we were then shown to a room that was already occupied. It might be a good idea for the check in staff to give a brief intro to the resort facilities in future, we were not informed of any. Breakfast was average, there was good variety but I thought it tasted boring. And the staff seemed to be overly enthusiastic at clearing our plates. We were staying in the Meliá guest room which was in a taller building away from the villas, the windows looked out to the sides, not the beach, but it wasn't a big issue for us. Room was spacious and in good condition. It was great that body lotion was provided, but the tiny bottle that contained the lotion was terrible, it was hard to pour or shake out the thick lotion, and it shattered into splitters when I tried to squeeze it. We had access only to the main swimming pool, which was by the beach. It's big and nice, with sufficient deck chairs which were new and clean. Fresh towels were readily available.

Amazing facility, helpful/friendly staff. The pool & pool bar were great (especially happy hour), the beach was amazing, and we were able to use the resort kayaks in the ocean for free. The room was really nice. One thing to keep in mind is that the washroom does not have a lot of privacy, so it's a great hotel for couples, but not great if shower/bathroom privacy is desired. Overall it was a great experience.

Nice Hotel with good external ambience.

Everything was pleasing except that the design for a family stay was not too good. Two separate rooms, but sharing a common bathroom and WC. Very inconvenient as the bathroom and WC cannot be locked for privacy.

Relaxing

Enjoyed the quiet relaxing location of the resort/hotel Staff was very kind and helpful. Food was ok, needs more international flavors, but I can see myself coming back.

Nice beachside hotel

We stayed 3 nights and it was nice. The pool is very nice and large with plenty of chairs for a busy time, but it closes at 7 p.m.!! Too early! There are 20 beach chair setups as well. Rooms are nice. The restaurants are good. The waiters, waitresses and bar tenders were all extremely friendly. We would stay again.

Fabulous Base for Vietnam Coast Holiday

The welcome we received the evening for check in set the standard for our whole experience. We were booked in for 10 days at The Level section of the resort, and the room was gorgeous, spacious and sparkling clean. Overlooking the Level pool, we enjoyed morning coffees on the balcony and a beautiful buffet/a la carte menu every morning. The main pool was huge with the beach only a few steps away. The staff were so friendly and every one we saw no matter what time of day, greeted us with a cheerful Xin Chao (Hello). Their were different food events almost every night; Seafood night, steak night, vietnamese market night plus more. The Cape Neo restaurant and host Huy, served a range of different cuisines as well as wonderful service. The room was cleaned immaculately every day and if we needed anything at all, help was immediate and well done. The fabulous spa area offered a lot of massage and facial options and I enjoyed a 90 min shiatsu massage with Chu, that I could still feel the benefits of, two days later. Afternoon Cocktail Happy Hour held in The Level lounge was a daily treat, hosted by the lovely Lien, Hoa, Dam, Thao and Chuyen, plus other lovely hostesses and chefs. Evening cocktails and snacks on the beach were also a highlight and you could see the beautiful Lady Buddha shining in the distance. Regret that the renovation is undergoing.

I took my important customers who are staying in The Level Room and requested late checkout service, but in vain due to full occupancy at Hotel. This is OK however I wished to have some other proposal from Hotel, providing other room available. I negotiated and got it finally, however it was not pleasant for me to have negotiation.

Great hotel for the price.

Would recommend to anyone. Beach was clean, staff was excellent. The breakfast was delicious.

Melia Danang - Deluxe Room

Had a 5 night stay in the deluxe room. Standard room in the main building (as opposed to the Level rooms which feature in the main photo). Reasonable size room with an open design bathroom. Overall, hotel was pleasant and staff were great. Location is about 30 mins from Hoi An and about 20+ mins from Danang. Easy enough to get to either - hotel has a 80K per person shuttle to Hoi An and Uber/Grab work well. Don't expect to walk out of the hotel for anything - there is absolutely nothing within walking distance from the hotel (and to be fair, this looks to be true of most of the beach resorts). Eat in or take a car out. Only issue was that the room doors aren't equipped to shut gently and instead slam shut leading to a cacophony of slamming doors in the morning - not the most pleasant way to be woken up.

Hotel is on the beach and next to Marble Mtn

The Hotel sits on what was the Marine 3rd LVT Camp during the Vietnam/American War. The grounds and facilities now however are FAR more comfortable. Both check in & out were very efficient and quick. I ate at all 3 restaurants and thought they were awesome and not too expensive as Hotel restaurants can be. The grounds are manicured and large with a nice big pool that has a bar. All the staff are very attentive, helpful and just playing nice and friendly. The noise is the only drawback. With open halls on each floor people tend to talk too loud and with the Rooms having tilted floors anytime someone drags something on the floor it reverberates. I also wonder if they have sound insulation in the walls. I had loud, rude neighbors that their actions and voices carried into my room. I called the front desk and they seemed to of taken care of it and were very apologetic to me and even offered to change my room. Like I said, the staff are great here.

the overall stay is pleasant and the staff are friendly and helpful, most of them understand English. The included breakfast have some variety. the spa staffs are very nice and professional with good attitude. I will say it is good value for the money. Just at the room we have stayed in have some funny smell, and as the windows cannot be opened, it stayed in. The room service staffs bring a lemongrass fragrance lamp so the smell is gone. however it is more of a wet patch / moulding-smell which the hotel must get rid of or else the lemongrass smell is just covering up some health hazard later on.

Fantastic stay at the Melia

I can’t praise the hotel highly enough and in particular the attentiveness and service provided by the staff throughout the hotel and it’s grounds. They were always friendly and ready to help whenever they could, some of the best service I have received in a hotel anywhere in the world. The hotel is extremely modern, clean and has sufficient facilities to suit our stay. The choice and quality of food at breakfast and dinner was good and all reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking to stay in da nang whether it is as a family, couples or to make the most of the numerous golf courses nearby
