Not too bad, staff is nice
Convenient to stay
It’s not Bad. ???
The hotel is very close to Bukit Bintang food street.
Good stay for the price
Staff was extremely helpful. Woman at the desk lent us umbrella when it was raining. Nice room
1st night of my 3 night stay was in a very sub-standard room. Thankfully, the female receptionist had warned me, and offered a replacement, which was good. Hotel in the heart of the rather seedy tourist strip. Everything very close. Budget hotel, but would stay again...just not in Room 207
Not in a good neighborhood
Saw several rats when I was walking from the hotel to the KLCC park
Overall ok
Very convenient location with a friendly host
Very convenient location, close to train, jalan alor eat street (touristy food), 3 local shopping malls, local restaurants and great massage. Hotel has all amenities you need, reception is friendly with good local recommendations.
Rude front desk
Hotel in a vibrant area, without any noises !!
It's a nice and simple hotel in a very vibrant location. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping options around. Location is well connected to public transport. The exciting part is I could see partial view of PETRONAS towers from my Room. Value for money. Don't expect any prominent channels on TV. Staff are friendly.
Central located at Bukit Bintang area..
Horrible room
The room is terrible. The chair, kettle, lamp are spoilt. Terrible view. The toilet is old. The plus point is just the location
It is a steal to get a place in the heart of Bukit Bintang for this price. Athough rooms are compact, if you are a solo traveler this is the spot. 2-5 min walk from any kind of bar / restaurant, 10 min walk from shopping malls. Staff is amazing and super-friendly. Highly recommended.
No proper signage to our room. Our room is located behind the lift. But the signage for the room numbers is in front. Our room number is not listed there. Who on earth will check rooms behind which looks like hallway to pantry or whatever.
The room is small but has the facilities. Can be noisy at night during sleeping hours.
Good location
Interesting hotel at the back alley
Room was ok, well equipt with fridge, tv, kettle, mug, tea coffee sugar. Toilet was a bit moldy. There was no daily housekeeping in my four nights with them. The room i stayed in has a window that couldn't be closed or lock. I carried all my important items with me, but it did felt a bit unsafe even though i was on the 3rd floor.
Convenient location and that’s it. Old tiny room with things not working. The top of the bed under the window and the curtain doesn’t cover over the edge of the window so you have street lights shining right on your face while trying to sleep. Would not recommend to stay here.
filthy walls and carpets. shower drain blocked. electrical sockets loose, and risks electrocuting guests
Very pleasant accommodation
The room size was just perfect for what I need, and just a very pleasant stay. I’ll definitely recommend this to my friends and family in future!

Directly behind Alor Street
Hotel is located directly behind Alor Street which is excellent, as you can get food easily at nights and it is a bustling area, especially towards the weekends. There's also spectacular mural artworks in front and behind the hotel. The hotel is less than 5 mins walking distance from the Bukit Bintang Station. (Dark green line, entrance A). Service from the front desk is impeccable. One can also request for housekeeping only when required. Love the glass bathroom in the single room that I had.
Everything is good. You get what you pay for the price and the ease of access to different necessary establishments is a major plus! ❤️
Sangat bersih, kemas dan sesuai dgn harganya.
So far so good
So far so good
You cannot ask for more from a hotel, great rooms, friendly staff, helpful security guard, central location easy to get what you need when you want. The only down side is I could not stay longer. Everyone that works there does an outstanding job and should get a pay rise.
The front staff was horrendous. We made a request for early check in which was never responded to. We had no choice but to arrive at 10 in the morning, completely exhausted, and the lady at the desk informs us with a big smile that we can leave our bags at reception and come back at 2 for a room ! Someone else stepped in, thankfully, and sorted us out. That aside, the advertised free parking is three.lots. Three. These were all taken and we had to park on the road and got a fine ! Room was much less clean than advertised. There was I unflushed urine in the toilet bowl when we arrived. Terrible.
the ceiling was leaking with water
Excellent location
Small room but I was traveling alone so it was fine. Location is excellent, only a 5 minute walk to the metro and lots of food and nightlife right down the street. Staff was accommodating when I showed up early and very polite. Breakfast was simple. Overall would definitely recommend!
Nice small boutique hotel right in the heart of Bukit Bintang.
Service, location and fee are affordable and well balanced.
Awesome Review for Melange Boutique Hotel.
It was an amazing experience to stay in Melange Boutique Hotel, the front desk is very approachable and courteous with their guests. They are informative whenever ask for some inquiries. Very passionate with their respective jobs, room was kept clean everyday.
The hotel was very clean, its location was good but the area hotel was located there was very dirty and smelled very bad, shower was excellent hot and good pressure, room was small and the breakfast was really poor, that was the first hotel that tea and bread was not self service, and the worst in all my trips.
This is the 2nd time I stayed there. But the property ran down. Staff are nice though.
Staff very warm welcoming and give a good advise. We will back later
Very good location, room was clean and good customer service but wifi is poor.
Good location and service.
Melange Single Room
The Melange has a fantastic location, the staff were excellent, my studio room was great including fridge, safe and self contained bathroom but my only issue was the room carpet really needed cleaning.
Bag robbed or taken my mistake? You decide.
It was a good stay until the day they throw (or stole?) a plastic bag full of gifts for my family (food items). And the worse thing was the careless and rude attitude of the staff to whom I complaint. He did not even apologize for that! On the next day, again I complained to someone who seemed to be the manager, but all he could say was:" Our staff took your bag by mistake, thinking it was garbage." What? What kind of excuse is that? When I questioned him if the staff did not check the bag contents to verify if it was garbage or not, he gave me an even more amazing answer'" Our staff is strictly trained to not look inside any bags, so whatever they judge is garbage, they just throw it!" For you who is planning to book a room in Melange Hotel....be very careful, otherwise they might end up throwing your passaport in the garbage as well.
Fast check in but room numbers are actually labeled on the floor rather than the wall or room door. I had a hard time finding it.
Breakfast ruins a great stay
The Melange Boutique Hotel is conveniently located near the Bukit Bintang MRT station in a lively tourist area of KL .The single room I stayed in ,was well designed ,modern ,comfortable . However all this is let down by the shockingly bad breakfast .This is a shame as food in Malaysia is mostly very good.AVOID eating at the hotel.
Staff were lovely, stay was easy apart from the deposit on card which meant even though I got it all back I still got charged because of foreign currency. The last night there were people running up and down which kept some guests awake. Breakfast was nice
The room was cool and comfortable, and breakfast was OK. If you're just looking for a place to sleep and don't wish to pay too much, then this is the place! The only downside was that on arrival, there were what looked like 2 stray dogs at the hotel entrance and my room on the 1st floor overlooks a rubbish dumpster and dark alley. The only pluses are the location and price.
Good location budget hotel
Overall good, with friend and the location is just behind the alo street, many food to eat and near bukit bintang subway. Room is small but everything is included especially the slipper. Considering a budget hotel, it is recommended but not suitable for business trip.

Small budget hotel but good location and clean

Nice and quiet hotel. Cosy place to stay. Very near to a lot of eateries. Spoilt for choice.
Excellent location but cleanliness could improve
located 2 min away from the action in KL and from metro station. nice staff. nice rooms but cleanliness could improve
Hotel and room quite ok beakfirst was not good at all
Centrally Located
Carpet was very dirty with yellow spots. They should have an extra hand towel besides bath towel and a bath mat. Mirror in washroom should have lights right above mirror for ease of shaving.
Close to shopping area and eating place
The size of the boom is small but it’s ok for a single occupancy. It’s near the famous food street, just link at the next street. Convenient for shopping.
Close to street food and to the public transport (mrt). Staff waw very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend. Rooms are bit smaller but didn't bother me at all.
Don't bother
Very cramped room, no storage- had to live out of suitcases. Breakfast was mediocre at best.
Comfortable stay
The staff was very helpful and kind. Room was a bit small and I was a little disappointed with the area as the surroundings were dirty, my view was a bit yuck, I didn’t even open my courtains. The location of the hotel overall is great as you get EVERYTHING right around the corner. Breakfast was very simple, just 3 choices to pick from, I actually skipped bf 2 days :/.
Great location, modern hotel. Excellent staff
Ideal location , ultra modern and super clean rooms. All staff were excellent. Bargain Will definitely stay again.
Someone tired to open our door at 5am. Lucky we have the door latch on. This is very scary.
Poor WiFi
WiFi was slow to non existent, with constant crashes or unable to connect. If WiFi is important, you will want to stay at another hotel. If it’s not important, then Hotel is good value, located conveniently 5 to 10 minute walk to Jalan Alor street food, Lot 10, and bus stop for free GoKL bus. Breakfast is included, but the menu is the same three choices everyday.
Oasis of peace
Beautiful little hotel just off the mayhem that is Bukit Bintang. It offered an oasis of air conditioned calm and was beautifully kept and maintained. Some quirky little features that I found entertaining (the M16? brass plated standard lamp in the foyer)
short stay at Melange
When choosing a budget price hotel, the toilet is the most important thing to me. It has to be clean, odourless, in good condition with adjustable water temperature. Melange hotel fulfills all of these. It is 1-2 mins walk from Alor street, aka food street, which is great.
Convenient and relatively clean budget option.
All in all, very good except the surrounding area is slightly sleazy but it is a safe area. The hotel has a great location, 5 mins walk to Bukit Bintang Monorail and the MRT station. You can get from the airport easy. There are three (3) free Go KL bus lines nearby just outside Arab Square. Getting to most tourist places will not be a problem. Food wise: Jalan Alor is the adjacent street with lots of mainly Chinese food options, touristy and the restaurant owners are slightly rude. Lot 10 and Pavilion Food courts are walking distance and have better value food with a wider range. If the breakfast in the hotel is not filling enough, there are nasi lemak sellers nearby where you can eat good for less than £2. Changkat Bukit Bintang has lots of bars and clubs so no lack of diversions. Nearby the hotel there is a self service laundrette with two 24 hour restaurants - TGs and Wynns. Hotel room was slightly small but adequate and the bathroom was spacious. Really good aircon as well. Staff are friendly but lack the knowledge of the greater KL area. Only down side was the slightly stained carpet. But cannot complain for this price and location. The bed was comfortable.
Good value for the money
Clean and comfortable, and in a convenient location. Searched 3 star hotels with 4+ ratings on hotels.com then narrowed down by location and looked at customer reviews. A good choice.
Nice hotel but situated in a non-salubrious area.
The hotel was nice hotel but it was situated in a non-salubrious area of Kuala Lumpur within walking distance of the Petronas Towers and the Pavilion shopping centres.
Overall a pleasant stay
Everything about the room was lovely, spacious and clean, except for breakfast at Rococo Cafe. Such a beautiful restaurant with so much potential but maintained/serviced by incompetent employee. Cutlery was dirty, table was dusty, food was cold and of lowest quality ingredient... like cut-up chicken burger patty instead of actual grilled chicken. The waiter was just in the counter looking at his phone unless when there's food needed to be served. Doesn't even bother clearing away the dishes after guests had left so almost all tables were occupied.
Great value hotel, modern and clean
I was very impressed by this hotel. I had a single room as I was travelling alone. Although the room was small, it was plenty for one person and importantly was very modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable with daily linen service if desired. The room had air conditioning, refrigerator, and television. I had my own bathroom and shower with soaps and shampoo included. The shower even had two options, one of which was a rain shower from the ceiling. I also opted to include breakfast during my stay, which was at a cafe on the top floor of the building. There were three choices for breakfast, all of which were great. I also got unlimited toast and coffee. The location is very convenient as it is quite central and KL's main attractions are quite walkable. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. No issues checking in or out - it was all very professional and easy. Overall I had a great stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting KL!
Good hotel in a dilapidated area.
The hotel is situated in a very run down area. We were on the sixth floor and the view out the window was not very appealing. It is not an area that you would feel comfortable wThe room was tiny and very basic. You will be better off in a hotel closer to down town.
Great location, but I wouldn't go as far as to call this hotel boutique. A good base to stay for location
Exceed Expectation
Room & Bedding is clean, well kept & amenities complete. Staff are very helpful & friendly too. Great service & ambience for breakfast at rooftop cafe... But surrounding neighbour can be a bit rowdy... with many pubs, bars & massage shops... ok for Adults... maybe not be ideal for family with young kids.
Great hotel, close to restaurants, shopping
Great experience lovely room, great staff, breakfast was good, would definitely stay again
Comfty and very clean. The location is accessible, too.
Excellent stay
It was quiet satisfactory. the amount of money I paid and service I got was good enough. I love this hotel and keeps coming back
Great place to stay.
The hotel was really good. Stuff was helpful. Room was beautiful and I was even able to see top parts of the Petronas Towers from my room on the 5th floor. Location is not very luxury, but on the other hand it is right next to the "food street", which was great for me, because I wanted to try all the different local food. Only downside of the hotel is that the breakfast is the same every morning.
Satisfied Customer
I had to cut my travel plans short ,checked out two days earlier due to a family emergency and I was so impressed when the manager came out to make sure everything was ok . Loved the hotel, very, very clean, changed sheets everyday, room quite comfortable, all amenities. Front desk and housekeeping employees very friendly. Room small but very modern, loved the cleanness, 2 bottles of water every day. Very conveniently located, couple of blocks from monorail. 25 minutes walk to the Petronas, was able to see the top of the twin towers from my room, local market around the corner. The only thing is getting in or out of hotel into the main st, there is like 100 meters of alleyway that could be questionable for some people, beside that this little hotel is a gem. Kiddos to the manager. Thank you for your concern. Definitely I will go back to stay at your hotel.
Hidden treasure
This hotel is a wonderful gem, hidden in the chaos of Kuala Lumpar. Great rooms, quiet hotel and next to great transport links, shopping and food outlets.
Fun and Comfort
I stayed at this hotel from 13/04/2017 till 16/04/2017. This hotel is at Bukit bintang and walk able distance to all major attractions. Lot10, Pavilion, Fahrenheit, Jalan Alor, many spas and massage centres. This place is secure and the surroundings remain opens 24 hrs. You will find all kinds of food joints here and of course KFC, Mcd etc. Monorail is just some 300 meters away. I loved the place and the hotel and its hospitality. Will return and book the same place soon.
Clean but noisy
Overall good, but walls and doors let in too much noise and light
Good one except for restorant (dirty bad food)
Good for the price n for somebody who wants to use as a base n sleep only.
Good room but staff not very good
Get a bit of dirt on the towel and need charge for RM200?! What is this stupid terms? I'll wash it off for you and you pay me RM200. First time experience this kind of situation in a hotel stay.
Close to foodie area and center of action.
Orbitz should not set minimum number of characters in this reviews.
Cozy and comfortable
Location is not at main Street but just behind the popular Jalan Alor. Hotel is nice with different theme and nicely equipped for the good price.
New clean hotel close to restaurants
Although the rooms are on the small side, they are beautifully decorated and fresh. The hotel is close to a string of English pubs (!), a Malaysian-Chinese food court, and lots of local restaurants. Close to public transit too. Get the street address before you head out; none of the cab drivers knew where it was! We left our camera behind, and they retrieved it for us, no problem!
Good price, close to restaurants
The hotel wad very nice inside, as was the staff. But it's on an odd street and a little difficult for the taxi to find. Also not a wonderful area at night. Saw so sketchy looking people each night around the hotel. But the hotel itself is very safe. The doorman has to buzz you in and you need a key card to use the elevator.
Comfortble room and great location
Decent room, enough for 2 persons but best for 1. Some dusty things in the room like the coffee cup but forgivable. Breakfast is awesome. The location is convenient, a minute away from massage parlors / food street (amazing at night!), 10mins walk to Bukit Bintang LRT, 15mins walk to Pavilion mall, 25-30mins walk to Petronas Twin Towers. youll have to pass some dodgy alleys but overall it's okay.
Overall good and worth the money
Overall it was good, wifi was on and off because my room was right at the corner and the router was installed on the middle of the floor. Also could do with double glaze windows on firs floor as it get bit noisy sometimes. The hotel is close to the bintang and imbi station and bintang shopping area, and the food street is right outside. Breakfast is okay and staff is friendly and cooperating.
Great value, clean and quiet.
Single room was small but perfectly proportioned with a good sized en-suite bathroom. Clean, quiet abd great value which included a nice breakfast. One of the best budget stays in Bukit Bintang. Woukd recommend to travellers on a budget wanting all the vasic facilities. Very pleasant and helpful staff.
Good hotel but horrible alley leading up to it
You get a lot of bang for the buck with Melange Hotel. A clean room, a fairly centralized location and good service. The only thing I'm not too pleased is the alley leading up to the hotel. There's open sewerage and sewerage water running down it. Watch your step when walking down this lane!
great location and the breakfast served was actually quite good. Staff was also quite friendly and helpful.
Pleasant and Comfortable Stay
Comfortable bed, clean environment and easy access to restaurants & convenience stores.
Nice hotel. You have what you pay. Rooms are small
Nice hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. Near public transportation, food street and shopping malls.Rooms are small but comfortable to have a nice sleep after many hours of tour and walking. The street where the hotel is located is laid and I was a little shocked when I arrived.
Nice modern hotel steps from Jalan Alor
Great modern hotel near foodie street Jalan Alor and an easy stroll to the restaurants and bars on Jln Bukit Bintang. Also close to shopping at the Pavilion Mall and Lot 10. The AirAsia Bukit Bintang monorail station is less than a 5 min walk, though the current construction in the area that makes it a bit harder to navigate. I found the hotel easily enough but the side street it's on looks more like an alleyway. Just look up when you're at the corner of Jln Bukit Bintang and you'll clearly see the tall white Melange building. I stayed in a deluxe single room on the 2nd floor. Though it was a small room, it was very comfortable. The coziness actually helped with the air conditioning, as the room cooled down much quicker due to the small size. Be sure to leave the bathroom door open or you'll be surprised (unpleasantly, in my case) by the temperature difference when you enter it. The bed was of medium firmness, which is how I like it so I slept like a baby. The best part was the water pressure in the shower--AMAZING (though be careful--the hot water is HOT!). Wi-fi speed was decent. The only problem I had was operating the safe in my room. The reset process is slightly confusing, but the front desk and security guard quickly helped me out when I accidently locked it with the previously set code and couldn't open it back up. (FYI, the reset button to press is on the hinge side of the door.) I'd definitely stay here again if I ever return to KL.
clean and simple yet sytlish designed
awesome
Good location
Was good, Near to bukit bintank street, metro staion and all other facilities
Convenient and close to everything
This small hotel is close to the most for KLCC's attractions, but the condition of the hotel is more like old Inn.
Quiet street
Great stay in a quiet street
Location, location, location!
Great stay. Lovely rooftop cafe which is a great hideaway from a very busy city at ground level. It is just around the corner from a well known seafood street hawker market and from trendy international restaurants and lounges. It's a quick walk to the a metro line. Overall, super value for a superb location. Great that they offer rooms for solo travellers (single bed) without charging for a double room price.
Fantastic Budget Hotel
Fantastic Budget Hotel
Bright dining
Surprised at surrounding buildings but hotel a little oasis of clean and quiet. Area safe and close to many things. Taxis easy at corner. Thank you Tisha; very professional and sincere.

Excellent for budget hotel
Vicky, Bohay, other housekeeping guy & restaurant guy were brilliant, very friendly, polite & helpful. For very low budget accommodation, it has all you need. Free bottles of water, air con, TV, good pressurised hot shower. A very central location, lots of food choices within walking distance & good quick transport links. About an hour depending on time of day from international airport by taxi, inexpensive. Vicky was very kind & let me check in once my room was ready. Feeka coffee roastery, 5 minute walk, very good ☕👌. Night flight, so very tired & jet lagged. Very grateful 🙏
