The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Also, the hotel has a fitness center and a swimming pool. In addition, there is a shopping center nearby, and it's easy to get an Uber. Last, Kiley a receptionist is very helpful and friendly.

I check in at 1.00 pm at 2.00 pm i call the front desk we were 4 guest only 2 towels the tv control didn't work they told me someone be right up with the towels and fix the tv they never call back or show up the same thing at 5.30 pm same result nothing at 8.20 pm I went down to the front desk same result nothing what kind of lousy service

The internet did not work at all in room 116. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay.

Great Hotel for $41 per night, but if it's more money - then not worth it. Usually something is wrong with the room's maintenance or functionality; i.e. door locks not working properly, not good internet service, many faulty tv remotes, no ice machines, no hand towels, sink and shower drains not working properly (usually have plumber/maintenance fix it and take up my time), some electrical plugs missing/ or not in order, outdated TV'S, etc...

I liked staying at the Red Sun for the reason that they weren’t strict with rules and I felt like I had my privacy. What I really disliked was the fact that they say they have laundry available in the property and that’s false advertisement here on Expedia. I had to figure out a way to do my laundry outside but luckily I found a new laundry mat near by that had literally just opened the day I walked in😅

As this was but a mere stop to rest as part of a long road trip, we were not interested in anything other than that. We booked two rooms. It was convenient, and we were pleased by the cleanliness, but there were a couple of details that could be made better. In one of our rooms, the shower was perfect (128), while in the other they could not manage a steady flow of hot water. It would turn freezing every minute (136). In 128, there was no working outlet next to the bed on one side, thus no way to plug the night light or charger (it was actually exposed, which is dangerous), and the pillows in both rooms seemed as if they’d gone to war (bad). All this could be made right.

The bed sheets were no clean

Rooms do not have hangers, shower water temperature is not consistent, and usually some electrical outlets do not work. But the the rooms are comfortable, smart TV, comfy beds, spacious layout, modern look, high-ceilings, and good central Ac/ Heating units. I especially like it when there are discounted Room prices.

It was decent, just was in a very industrial area. Not a huge negative but worth noting there's no fridge or microwave.

Buyer Beware

Security seems fine. The bathroom smelled like the bottom of a well used ash tray. The waitstaff were seemingly untrained, teenagers. The free breakfast was a fruit buffet with the option of a meager ham and cheese omelette or chilaquiles. I’m not complaining because I subscribe to the theory that you get what you pay for, but buyer beware here. This hotel is a motel located in an industrial area. I stayed here due to its proximity on a business trip. I would stay here again if necessary but I’d also be open to paying a bit more for a better experience.

I don't recommend it if you need rest and privacy

The hotel is in good shape BUT is way too noisy, you can hear perfectly what happens in other rooms and the busy street outside. If you ned a little privacy IN your room, forget about it, shower and toilet doors are cool BUT they're glass (and they don't close completely) so you can see and hear everything going on in there. It has a restaurant with limited hours open and there´s nowhere close to get food or anything. Breakfast was ok, I'd expect more for a more than $90 USD room. WiFi reception is shutty so you need patience.

Good experience , rooms where clean and very comfortable. Pool was kind of dirty but there was Lots of parking. The housekeeping girls seems a little impatient and would try tonopen the door when we where asleep no do not disturb sign... besides that everything was good room was very specious

My Stay

Not a hotel a MOTEL. No breakfast service, no fruits , no continental breakfast, nothing to order. Restaurant is nothing but a stand. No smoking area. No English speaking staff. Location poor. For the price not worth it. No laundry service. It's a Motel six renovated. The best thing was having to move rooms because no heater in room. Positive nice room. Polite people.

New hotel, bad service

The hotel is very nice, however they did not respect our travelocity price. We had to pay more and it took 2 days for them to give us back what we had overpaid. They do not respect kitchen hours. Receptionist told us the kitchen closed at 9:30pm, and the cook hesitated to take our order at 9:10 because it supposedly closed at 9:00pm. In addition, it's location is horrible, there is literally nothing there no where to walk, no restaurants, even taxi drivers got lost.

Fair priced, ok area

Hotel was ok. No safe in room, didn't like that. No iron, and when you asked the front desk for it you had to leave your ID... not pleased with having to waste time doing that. The property should say it's a Motel, not a Hotel

Ok hotel, ok area, clean rooms

The rooms did not have cups, coffee makers, irons (although there was an ironing board) and worst of all... no safe. They reception wanted me to leave my I.D. with them so I could use the iron... ridiculous.

Hidden From the Public

MBM Red Sun Hotel was a pleasant experience. However, 1) it's hidden from the city 2) there are plenty of potholes surrounding the building giving it poor curb appeal. Other than that, again, the experience was awesome & Monterrey, Mexico is a wonderful place.

Great Place For Tigres Games To Stay

Place was great. Everything was new and clean. It was about 1 mile away from Tigres Universitario statium. There was a group of young guys having a party all night, but i'm sure it doesn't always happen. I would recommend this place.

in an industrial area with no places to eat within

a clean hotel. Continental breakfast varied from table to table. I had to ask for things I saw others receiving. Was not given an orientation to the hotel on arrival. There was a guard and a gate at the entrance for security. Front desk friendly but nothing extraordinary.

El hotel está bien, solo paso un incidente, alguien fue a tocar a mi puerta a las 5am, mi familia se asustó e inmediatamente hablé a recepción para reportar lo sucedido pero no me dieron razón alguna de lo que había pasado

Las habitaciones del hotel estan bien, solo considero que hay que darles mantenimiento a ciertos aspectos como lavamano tapado y algunas cuestiones electricas. Tambien el internet falla mucho. Pero en general me gustó que las habitaciones son amplias y limpias.
