Amazing stay at Jeju Shinhwa Marriott

What an amazing stay at the Marriott Shinhwa. You never need to leave. The Marriott is beautiful and the service top notch. The breakfast buffet is great in the morning. The dinner buffet was above the best I’ve ever had. They bring a whole lobster to the table! Our suite was extra large and very comfortable. Very nice bathroom. The pools at the Marriott also amazing. Large and well heated. It was not too crowded while we were there. All this plus the entertainment of shinhwa made this a great stay

Amazing room and space. Clean and good resort style. The free minibar despite attractive as part of oackage, it really is just 2 beers, 1 pepsi, and one pack of chocolate cookies.

This resort is great for family which has a water park and theme parks, perfectly for the kids. The swimming pool is well maintained and clean. my only disappointment is the missing of club lounge for the elite Bonvoy members.

This resort was absolutely beautiful, well maintained. Starting from when we started walking in to the hotel someone took our luggage right away to help us. The front desk staff was so friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was bigger than we thought, very clean and it had a great view. If you don’t want to leave your resort this is the place to go, because it has many choices for you to eat, not just the restaurant food if you are on a budget. It has stores (but high end) which it made it feel like you were in a mall so it was pretty neat. It also has water park that they give you a one time free pass but we were not able to use. I would definitely stay there again if I have the chance to go back to Jejù island. Five stars!

Very nice resort and ammenities offered. The shower leaked into the toilet area, so needed to put down a towel to soak up the run-off of dirty shower water.

Good service

I love the the stuff, very helpful. Shopping is great. Kids can be loud, however, they only showed up the last day of our stay. Could try to book people with no kids in a separate floor if possible. We used whole day taxis service with hotel, they are excellent. I also love the theme park.

The room was smaller than the other rooms we stayed in during our stay in Jeju however was clean and relatively modern. The hotel also had access to a large range of facilities which occupied us for the length of our (short) stay.

Great short vacation for a family.

Perfect and Intimate

Great place to stay with ample entertainment options. Would be perfect for family vacations or anniversaries with a loved one. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful with whatever needs you may have.

My wife and I took a mini vacation rom South Korea to Jeju Island. Our stay at the Shinhwa Resort was great. The resort provided us with everything we needed. Although it is designed around families with children, adults can have just as much fun on the property.

Experience not 5 star hotel…

The hotel itself and all the staff were nice. It was June and the hotel was fully booked as reception desk said. But the breakfast facility on the 5th floor was so full and we needed to wait in line about 20-25 min every morning. When it was our turn to get in, we realized that there were many many tables which were not get cleaned. We guessed that they didn’t have enough staff who needed clean up the table since the hotel was fully booked. Under the circumstances with COVID, I was worried standing in line in the narrow alley 20 min every morning. So I asked the breakfast room manager if I could pick up the take-out box instead of waiting to enter and get a table 25min in line until I wait to get a table. And the manager said they don’t allow take-out box and need to wait in line if I want to have breakfast. It made me worried if I get COVID standing in line closely with people behind me. Also outdoor pool is closing at 7pm and all the people who had day activities and who checked in late got packed in the indoor pool. And it was not the winter season and I have no idea why they close the outdoor pool that early. From 7pm the indoor pool was getting really crowded with people since the hotel was fully booked and outdoor pool is closed at 7pm. It made us anxious and uncomfortable since it is COVID time and wish they open the outdoor pool until 9pm at least. We stayed other 5 star hotel in Jeju and they were opening the outdoor pool until 10pm.

Staffs were very kind and nice. I heard the hotel restaurants are good too and I am hoping to visit them on my next visit.

Once getting inside, it feels like you're in Seoul

The hotel complex consists of upscale hotels, an adventure park, an outdoor street lined with numerous restaurants, a pool, a waterpark, a casino, and fancy indoor alleys filled with high-end restaurants, bistros, and luxury coffee shops. You will not be bored even if you decide not to drive out. One thing missing is the TV did not have apps. Neither Google Cast nor Miracast was possible, which was odd.

A great example as a resort

As a part of honeymoon, this was a perfect value for money, activity-based stay. An easy access to the shops around and the swimming pool as well as the water park, not to mention the comfortable room that you look forward to going back, made things very relaxing. We just hope that the facilities conditions and services remain as is and not decay over time.

I am a hotels.com gold member since 2017, in four consecutive years, which means I stay at the hotel for more than 30 nights a year. As you may see, I have traveled around the world. Sometimes I have stayed in the hotels regarded best. I can say Marriott Jeju is one of the best because of its staff's hospitality. I sent the prior notice to the hotel that I am on honeymoon, and they tried their best to accommodate. The front staffs were extremely courteous and caring, including the professional manager Ian Kim who greeted me at the lobby around every noon during my stay. Marriott Jeju is a newly-built hotel with professional service people and amazing facilities.

Housekeeping was subpar

Housekeeping was a mess. One day they did not come. One day they left linens in the room. One day they did. not replenish the toilet paper or towels. The mini bar is free and should be restocked daily and that was not done until we complained to the front desk. Front desk was nice about it and gave my kid a stuffed character. I have never had housekeeping issues like this before.

Room quality was very nice and amazing, but a parking lot outside of the property, so it is not convenient. the staffs are just providing right services not quit make you exceptionally welcomed. one more thing, the Gym was so small compared to other facilities in this hotel.

Everything is fine, place is clean and tidy. Service is good!

Friendly, excellent service, starting from check in. When they knew we have 7 rooms booked for our family and celebrating our parent’s 50th wedding anniversary, they made sure our rooms are all close to one another and also prepared a complimentary bottle of wine and fruits for us to celebrate. Hotel Is quite new, rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with high tech toilet. Stayed only 2 days but enjoyed the in room dining, indoor and outdoor pool, and Bowling. Great hotel to stay if traveling with family and kids.

한번 가보구 싶다 했었는데 역쉬 메리어트는 네임밸류가 있네요 직원들 모두 친절해요 미니바도 무료이고, 워터파크, 놀이기구도 3가지 탈수 있는 티켓도 있어서 호캉스 하기 좋아요 단, 외부에 있는 식당들은 가격은 비싼데 맛 없어요 그리고 오전에 방음이 잘 안되는지 소란스러웠어요

시설은 새 건데 관리가 잘 안돼서 여기저기 부서진 곳이 보입니다. 드라이기가 고장나있어 새로 가져다 달라하니 40분이 걸렸습니다. 복도 길이가 너무 길어서 방까지 가는데 힘들었습니다. 전체적인 분위기나 숙소 상태는 괜찮다고 생각합니다

메리어트관 2박 3일.

메리어트관에서 2박 3일 있었습니다. 룸 컨디션은 전체적으로 나쁘지 않았고, 소음도 거의 없었고, 침대도 푹신해서 잠을 잘 잤습니다. 다만 아쉬운 점은 워터파크, 수영장이 껴 있어서 그런지 아니면 비가 많이 와서 그런지 약간 습한 느낌은 있었지만, 에어컨이 시원하게 잘 나와서 지낼만 했습니다. 여러 호텔들이 모여 있다보니 식당 이용도 나름 괜찮았습니다.

입구.주차장.편의점 찾아 삼매경.

숙소입문시 사이트나 예약하는 곳에 주차장 주소가 제대로 적혀있지 않아서 주차장 찾다가 부부싸움할뻔했음.나만그런게 아니고 친하신분도그러심 편의점은 편의를 위한 곳인데 스타벅스 명품관은 가까운데 편의점 찾느라 한바퀴 이상 돌고 다리 아팠음 그러나 실내수영장은 좋았음 테마파크빅3를받고 가보니 모든게 빙글빙글 어른이 타기에도 어지러웠고 이용 인구가 없어 놀이기구 안 쪽은 먹을꺼리가 없었음. 다음엔 가고싶지 않음 한번이면 족한 숙소임

친절하고 매너있는 직원분들의 세심한 배려를 많이 느 낀 시간이었습니다. 호텔내의 모든곳이 청결했고 건물내 쇼핑이나 식사등 부대시설 이 많아서 편리했어요.

딱들어가면 규모도 크고 쇼핑, 식당 등 있을거 다있어서 저녁식사 해결하러 굳이 밖으로 나가지 않아도 되서 좋았는데.. 그 밖에 특별함은 없고요. 그냥 쏘쏘합니다

전반적으로 만족스럽습니다. 호텔내에 간단한 쇼핑몰과 레스토랑들이 있어서 편리합니다. 여러번 투숙했는데 점점 좋아지고 있는 것 같네요

만삭여행으로 메리어트 투숙했습니다. 들어가자 마자 욕실에 머리카락 두세개 보이고, 방이 어마무시하게 건조해서 룸에 있는 동안 목도 아팠고 피부가 간지러워서 잠을 못잘 지경이였네요. 가습기 남은 수량이 없다며 수건 널어놓고 자라고 하시더니 그 수건도 한참뒤에 다시 전화하니 갔다 줌. 조식도 가격대비.. 불꽃축제 중인데 애기들 장난수준입니다. 다음엔 안갈래요 돈아까움

가족들과 메이어트 2객실을 조식포함 예약했고, 요청되로 옆방으로 배정해 주셔서 편하게 이용하고 왔습니다. 5층에 모실수용장 뷰로 해주셔서 같은 5층에 있는 조식부페도 매일 이용하기 편하고 좋았습니다.다만 조식부페가 생각보다 다양한 음식이 있지는 않은거 같았어요. 간단하게 먹기는 나쁘지 않았습니다. 하루 저녁은 신화월드 안에 있는 신화흑돼지 집에서 고기를 먹었는데 분위기도 좋고 맛도 아주 좋았습니다.

프런트직원들은 좋았으나,입점점포들은 거의 교포직원들만 있어 서비스는 별로였음.

보이는 부분만 청소가 되어있어요~ 청결에 좀 신경 써 주심 좋겠어요.

객실 구조가 넓고 탁 트여서 잘 쉴 수 있었어요. 호텔 위치는 여기저기 놀러다니기에 편했고 메리어트관 뷔페가 가격도 맛도 최고로 좋았어요. 모든 직원분들이 항상 친절하게 서비스해주시는 것도 좋았습니다. 다만 리뷰 중에 객실 위생 상태에 관한 불만사항들을 봤었는데 공감가는 부분이 몇가지 있었습니다. 카펫은 오염이 눈에 띄게 보이고 룸클리닝 이후에도 마룻바닥에 먼지나 머리카락이 많았어요. 수건은 육안으로는 청결했으나 한두개에서 냄새가 좀 났습니다. 이런 부분만 보완된다면 침구도 편하고 다 좋을것같아요. 그리고 어린아이들 동반가족이 많다 보니 복도 소음이 좀 있어요. 말한 점들 말고는 시설도 그렇고 다 만족스러웠습니다.

옆방 소음이 그대로 다 전달되는, 방음 전혀 되지 않는 구조이고 바닥이 전체 카페트가 아니라 마루바닥이라 의자를 끌면 층간소음처럼 천장이 울립니다.

제주 신화 메리어트

친절하셔서 굉장히 인상깊었습니다. 다만 체크인 시 객실 내 테이블이라던가 몇몇 군데 제대로 청소되지않은 부분이 있었지만 전체적으로 만족합니다. 왠만한 편의 시설이 다 리조트 내에 있어서 이용하기 편리했습니다. 재방문 의사 있습니다

워터파크 궁금

여름에 워터파크 한 번 경험해보고 싶어요

객실 상태는 양호하나 전망은 앞에 공사 중단된 현장이 바로 앞이라 전망은 꽝이었네요

아이들과 함께 즐길수있는 놀이공원,수영장,식당들 매우 좋았어요.호텔도 깨끗하고 시설도 좋고가족들이 함께 즐길수있는 곳이어서 자주 이용하려구요.

호텔안에 다양한 시설과 식당 카페들이 많아 즐기기에 제격이었어요. 다음에 또 가고 싶네요

대륙의 스케일을 볼수 있는 리조트이며 조식도 맛있었습니다.가장 아쉬운것은 수영장을 갈때 로비 한 가운데를 지나가야 하는..수영장 락커 이용도 안되서 다 젖은채로 가운을 입고 로비를 지나오니 참 이건 이해가 안되는 동선이었습니다....

신화월드 메리어트관

프런트 직원이 매우 친절했습니다. 얼리 체크인을 적극적으로 도와줬고, 그녀 덕에 꽤 준수한 1층 객실을 배정받았습니다. 처음엔 1층이 좀 꺼려지긴 했지만 어차피 윗층으로 올라가봐야 전망 뻔하고 오히려 드나들기 편했습니다. 무엇보다 융통성 있는 프런트 직원이 사람들 왕래가 거의 없는 곳으로 배정해주셔서 지나다니는 사람들의 시선을 두려워할 필요가 전혀 없었습니다. 더욱 좋았던 것은 객실 창문을 열면 작은 정원이 있었고 밤에 그곳으로 드나들 수도 있어서 다른 호텔에서 맛볼 수 없는 색다른 경험을 할 수 있었습니다. 호텔 밖 독립 구조물에 위치한 수영장도 무척 마음에 들었습니다. 풀장 규모가 넉넉했고, 수심도 아이와 어른이 함께하기에 적당했습니다. 전반적으로 시설이 깔끔했고 모두 비슷하게 보이는 건물이었지만 전날 묵었던 신화관보다 메리어트관이 좀 더 고급진 느낌이었습니다.

뷰도 나쁘지않고 건물내에 아울렛도 있어서 옷 구경도 하기 좋았는데 화장실에 있는 욕조상태가 그렇게 청결하지 못했어요

호텔은 매우 청결하고 침대 또한 일반베드보다 넓어 사용하기 너무 좋았습니다.

직원분들이 매우 친절했습니다. 방도 편안하고 잘 지내다 왔습니다. 하지만 화장실과 세면대에서 사용할 때 마다 냄새가 났습니다

침대에 깔린 카펫이랑 화장실에서 냄새가 나서 좀 그랬어요ㅠㅠ 시설이라던지 룸 컨디션 좋았는데.. 침대에 깔리 카펫은 차라리 없는게 더 나을거 같다는 생각니 드네요..... 화장실 냄새는 좀 거슬렸는데 카펫은 엄청 거슬릴 정도는 아니었지만 짐 풀고 하면서 좀 역했네요..

지난번 이용하고 만족스러워서 다시 방문했습니다. 편의시설도 다양하고 맛집이나 관광지도 가까워서 만족스러웠습니다. 객실이 좀 낡은 느낌이긴 한데 제가 지낸 방만 그랬을지도 모르겠네요. 전체적으로 만족합니다.

발코니가 없는 객실에 전망은 전혀 기대할 수 없었어요. 그 외에는 여러 즐길수 있는 것들이 많았어서 괜찮았습니다.

메리어트 추천합니다!

메리어트에서의 첫 숙박이었는데 좋은 기억으로 남았습니다. 체크인부터 체크아웃까지 불편함없이 잘 쉬었습니다. 객실은 넓고 깔끔했고 수영장도 잘 관리되어 좋았습니다. 직원분들도 모두 친절했고 문의사항이 있는 경우에도 친절하고 빠르게 잘 처리해주었습니다. 제주도에 다시 방문하게 되면 메리어트에 숙박할 예정입니다.

장점은 비오는 날 워터파크와 리조트 안 식당에서 잘 놀고 잘 먹었습니다만, 다시는 오지 않으려고 합니다. 가족이 함께 머무는 방에서 옆방 민망한 소음 때문에 너무 괴로웠어요. 객실 방음 처리 좀 제대로 해주세요. 그리고 벤틸레이션에 신경 써 주세요. 하수구 냄새가 객실 환기구로 자는 동안 계속 넘어 왔어요. 제가 소음과 냄새에 정말 민감한 데, 서울 콘래드급 시설을 기대했는 데 그 부분 실망했습니다. 하지만 직원분 너무 친절했고 나머지 시설을 다 괜찮았습니다.

가족여행용 호텔입니다

전반적으로 가족여행가기 좋은 호텔입니다

조금 부족했던 룸상태

성수기이긴 했지만, 비싼 비용으로 지급한 거에 비해서 룸체크사항이 잘 안되어있었습니다. 화장실 드라이기 전기콘센트, tv옆 콘센트가 두군데가 안되서 드라이기 들고 여기저기 꽂아보느라 고생했습니다. 룸은 생각보다 작아서 짐을 풀기가 나뻤어요. 몰 올려놓을 만한 곳이 너무 작더라구요. 프론트에 요청한 소아가운은 안쪽이 찢어져서 너덜되었고, 성인 가운역시 상태가 별로였어요. 이틀만 있는거라 대충 넘어갑니다. 물론 퇴실전에 클레임으로 말하긴 했어요. 몰 바라고 한게 아니라, 다음 손님을 위해서요..

애매합니다

객실에서 지린내나요. 침구에서는 안나는데 바닥 카펫이 의심스럽습니다. 서비스도 불만이요. 객실 이용시 리조트 시설 할인받을수 있다는 사항 시설안내에도 안써있어서 쌩돈 날렸어요.

가족이 이용하기에 좋았습니다. 코로나로 수영장은 이용하지 못했지만 수영장이 좋다는데 또 이용해서 가보고 싶습니다.

최악의 휴가

정말 불만족 스러운 숙박이었습니다. 아무리 그래도 메리어트인데... 방음 전혀 안되어 도저히 쉴 수가 없었습니다. 옆방에 초등학생들 정도 되는 아이들이 있는 분들이 사용했는데 문 쾅 닫는 소리며, 떠드는 소리, 아침에 특히... 하... 정말 쉬러 갔는데 아침에 하도 시끄럽게 하는게 들려서 쉴 수가 없었습니다... 너무 심각했어요.. 아침에 푹좀 자고 싶었는데 방음 안되는 문제로 출근할때보다 더 일찍 눈떠있었습니다.. 게다가 침구는 너무 불편해서 심지어 담까지 걸렸습니다.. 근육 이완제에 마사지까지 받으러 가야했어요.. 휴가로 갔는데 돈만쓰고 너무 피곤하고 괴로운 숙박이었습니다.
