Great stay. Easy walk to Save on and lots of restaurants. We’d never stayed in shared accommodation before. The manager was very easy to deal with and informative. She allowed us to keep our bags in the building as we had a later flight. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice shared home. Great location.

The only complaint was that the bed was quite worn otherwise this was a wonderful place to stay.

Comfortable bed and everything we would have wanted in the kitchen. Stairs aren’t easy to navigate with heavy bags but good exercise. Bathroom clean and well appointed. Easy walk to Safeway for food.

Family room experience

Our room was very comfortable very clean. The stay was very enjoyable.

This multi-bedroom shared apartment in South Granville is good value for money within easy taxi distance to the YVR Vancouver airport. The staff were efficient and helpful, the room was clean and bed solid, and the hot shower was nice after our long journey. Walking distance to many food options on South Granville.

Enjoyed Our Stay

Quaint little place with very friendly owners. We enjoyed our stay. The only "ding" was that the room was not really large enough to open a suitcase except on the bed. We made do, though, and the hosts were great. Not especially close to main Vancouver attractions, but easy transit system, and it IS close to the airport!

More like a shared house than a b& b.

The owner was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The bathroom seemed recently updated and modern. Very clean. It would have been helpful if there was written info on the area as far as restaurants and stores. The owner was very helpful in the am and shared where to go for breakfast. Food was excellent at the Whitespot. This was within walking distance.

Clean and cute stay

Impeccably clean, friendly and accommodating hosts, safe and cozy home.

Homey atmosphere. Clean room and bathroom. Bed is comfortable. Room is small. Another night stand and a chest drawer will be an excellent addition that will be popular.

Shared bathroom and public rooms!

We were surprised to find out that it wasn’t a ‘shared bathroom’ situation, but also shared living/dining/kitchen too. We wouldn’t have booked it if we had realized. The description in the website is somewhat evasive on the subject.

Check in was a breeze. All went well. Great service

Very quiet area. 20min walk to marine dr. Skytrain. Kind host. Room was clean. Was nice to have a private bathroom.

The room needs a mirror and table, a garbage can, and facecloths included with the towels. These basics made difficult what was otherwise a fine facility.

Had an amazing stay. Love that is was near multiple different bus lines. Very nice and safe neighborhood. Would absolutely stay there again and would recommend to family and friends

We enjoyed staying at Marpole Guest House. We were warmly welcomed. The common areas including the shared bathroom were modern, clean and well stocked. The location is conveniently close to restaurants, groceries, and transit. This is a great place as a base. Note that rooms with shared bathroom are small with limited space to unpack and spread out.

Did not see owner/manager/operator (or anybody else for that matter - we were the only ones there). All communication was electronic. Was a nice enough house. Parking was on the street - the closest we could park when we arrived was half a block away. There was a kitchen available which would be useful if a person was staying multiple days.

Host provided for all sets of extras including coffee and toiletries.

Owners communicate quickly. The property is very clean. We stayed in the king bedroom one night before leaving in the early morning for a flight. This property is located near the airport.

The place was clean and very comfortable. The bus stops, glocery store, and restaurants were in walkable distance.

Interior design was pleasing to the eye and gave me a sense of comfort, similar to one I have at my home.

The property was very clean, bathroom was new and very clean. $23 uber to either arena. Nice area. Host was very sweet and organized. Bring ear plugs for morning traffic noise if you are not from a big city.

Uncomfortably cold bedroom and bathroom - no heat control Owner pesters guests to leave shoes at door but shoes could be stolen, floor is cold and stairway rug has dirty stains. For $190, I'm wearing my shoes No facecloth in bathroom Cheap, flimsy shower curtain, water all over floor Entrance walkway in disrepair, needs rebuild and fresh paint. Vent for fireplace sticking out at face height in narrow walkway. Bumped head and scratched expensive sunglasses 25 min busride from everything but at least its close to busline Expensive even at half the price

It was nice and bright and clean inside. Looked kind of sketchy from the outside, not at all like the photos.

I was only there for one night and literally slept there and left for the airport at 5 am the next day. The bed in the room I rented was incredibly comfortable. The place was clean and the host friendly and professional.
