Good location, a 10 minute walk into town.

Fine. It's a good clean place to stay, and is good as a budget option but there's not much to it and they weren't particularly responsive to messages. We never met a member of staff who spoke English. Room was accurate to description and the website linked with the room had lots of helpful tips and advice about Naxos

The info provided by the property about the island is the best we have ever received in any city, country, resort or hotel. The studio is very clean, very close to where you need to be on the island, it is very safe and people is nice. You need to read their instructions if not you will mistake the entrance now that is located at the hill or what you would think is the back. The only downside is that the shower is very small but it will do for what you need. We were a family with small children and we were exploring the island and not staying in.

Absolutely loved our stay here. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. If you need to know anything at all, the front desk staff were incredibly knowledgeable. Really appreciated the drying racks outside each room, they were great for swimsuits and any laundry we did. Very walkable to Naxos town for dinner each night and we drove to the beaches in a short time each day. Would definitely stay here again, can’t recommend it enough. Thank you so much!

It was beautiful and for me the most important part it iwas close to the port

Excellent property very nicely maintained clean and nicely decorated

Very kind hosts. A nice clean and small room with a powerful air conditioner and perfect mattress to sleep on. The door has a code so there is no need to worry about losing your key. The walk from the port takes about 10-12 minutes but there is a bit of a hill so if you have heavy bags pay for the taxi going up. Walking down to the port even with my overloaded suitcase was no issue. The old town is about 10 minutes. Naxos was beautiful and the hotel website was informative and well laid out.

Amazing stay

Amazing place, the room was beautiful and we had a really good time. Close walk to the Naxos port. It was our second stay and we would definitely go back. Good value for money.

Spacious rooms. Very helpful staff. Coffee in the morning. Shared outdoor sitting area and balcony in room. Only thing to consider is the shower is very small so the curtain really sticks to you. Overall a fantastic stay and I would come back again.

Fantastic welcome!

They welcome I received was fantastic, typical Greek hospitality is good. Here I was picked up at the port, given as great rundown of the island and things to do and see.

Amazing place and amazing people. Everything was great

Our go-to place to stay in Naxos

From the moment we were met at the port by Giorgos to being dropped off at the airport by Giorgos, we were completely taken care of by Margos Studios. This is our 2nd time staying at Margos Studios while on Naxos. Last year, we made the mistake to stay at another place and it was no where near as warm and welcoming and comfortable as Margos Studios. We like the location because it is a short walk to the bustling Naxos Town and port and not right in the middle of all of the noise and activity. The rooms are clean and what the budget traveler to the Greek Islands expects.

We recently spemt a week at !argo Studios. Couldn't have had a better experience. The room wss lovely with French doors leading to a balcony where we enjoyed breakfast as well as other meals. Everyone there was extremely helpful. The only negative is that there are a fair number of steps. However, as a couple in their late 70's, we were able to manage them. Overall, a wonderful week in a beautiful location.

Thin walls- absent service sometimes

Very thin walls- dog barking and cleaning lady cleaning made it hard to clean. Shower was very small and flooded easily.

Check in was very easy. The hotel and my room are very clean and quiet. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Perfect location - about an 8 minute walk to the port.

VERY clean, well taken care of property, comfy bed and pillows, fantastic staff, wonderful location. We were sick while there so spent a lot of time in our room and it felt like home away from home. I’m a clean freak and I’m telling you this place was CLEAN. Dedicated staff. Would recommend for anyone!

Great position great host !

George the host went out of his way to make our trip a lovely one. He picked us up from the port and dropped us off. Carried our cases and offered us another room to shower on the same day we checked out and left our bags with him. The room was small but very clean and close all the attractions, buses etc.

Amazing stay

My wife and I spent 3 nights at Margo and we loved our entire stay. George was extremely welcoming and friendly, providing us morning coffee and homemade sweets for breakfast. Also picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. Great location, easy to walk to old town. On the day we wanted to rent a car, George helped us our and had someone bring us the car to the hotel. Great stay, would strongly recommend.

Best Hotel Ever!

We are really impressed with this place, we have visited Greek islands many times but now we found another reason to return. The location is perfect, 5-6 minutes walking from port, into a traditional Greek island neighborhood but only steps away from the restaurants bars and shops. Our room in the middle floor was spotlessly clean with big balcony facing the hammocks garden and all the facilities, safe box, kettle with a variety of coffees and teas, fridge, fast Wifi, hairdryer, toiletries beach towels and other. What makes this place special though, are their owners and their authentic hospitality. Our experience in Naxos wouldn't be the same without their valuable advises and tips. Thank you so much our friends, we will definitely visit you again next summer.

Lovely clean modern appartment - welcoming staff very helpful! Location is very nice, very peaceful 5 minutes walking to center and port, definitely returning back next year!

Lovely staff and comfy room

I only stayed for one night, but was very comfortable and had a kitchenette in my room. The Studios were quiet and clean. My only reservation is that the location was a little farther from the port than I had realised and walking back from dinner in the dark - with all the traffic - was not pleasant. The staff at Margo Studios are very friendly and helpful.

Nice Place, Good Location

We enjoyed our brief stay at Margo Studios on our way back home. The reception was warm and helpful and the room met our overnight needs - clean, spacious and comfortable. We were given a ride to port which is very helpful. The location is walking distance to the port and quiet.

Wonderful hosts

Located on a busy road but only 5 minute walk from the main part of town. This place is very nice and I can't say enough about the hosts. I would stay again.

Lovely family, very clean room

Family run business, very lovely family. The mum packed her home baked cake for me to bring to airport! They provide free transfers too. Room is very very clean, tea making facility, safe, iron, toiletries and good water pressure shower. Perfect stay in Naxos. Great hospitality! Don't miss this gem. You will not regret.

Excellent location; superb staff!

My experience as a solo traveler has been excellent. I stayed 23 days at Margo Studios this spring (2017)--using it as a base to explore Naxos and nearby islands. The spring previous I stayed for a similar period of time. So I know it quite well. I see the staff interact with other travelers on a daily basis when I'm there. The location is in the area known as Grotta, a ten minute saunter to the harbor. From the hotel you are within a few minutes walk of the best location to see the sunset over Naxos town. It's quiet at the hotel. The faculties are new and kept in superb shape. The cleanliness is excellent. Towels abd linens are changed every day. Great attention has been given to details that benefit the traveler. For example there is a kettle in the room with packets of coffee and tea that are daily refreshed. There is a new television (wall screen) and a lighting arrangement that is excellent (two wall-mounted bedsides reading lamps that are perfect). Hot water on demand in a spotless bathroom. Adequate closet space, a stand to put your suitcase. I enjoyed sitting in the courtyard and having coffee. Coffee and bottled water are free in the lobby. There are always fresh cakes and cookies set out for guests. Niketas, the manager, makes every effort to help guests organize their travel around the island. It's just a great place to stay--and inexpensive!

The host was really friendly , picked us up at the port and took us to the port as well!! He was really helpful and kind ! Also,going to the beaches is quite convenient by bus. Margo is Highly recommended!! We had a good time .

It was one of the best experiences ever. We have been welcomed and overwhelmed (in the best possible way) by information and support with warmth and real authentic human willingness to help (not just cos we were customers if you know what I mean). The accommodation was super clean and felt brand new! We have been given tips for places to visit and not to visit based on our available time and transportation. We have been given discounts for rental due to them recommending us and finally, we had our luggage taken from the Hotel to the port cos we were running late for our ferry. They also picked us up on the way to the port and dropped us right in front of it! We were astonished! :o Beside, we loved Naxos so much that we want to return, and Margo's studio will be our place once again for sure!! Thank you so much for everything! You were truly amazing.

Nice hotel close to port

We recently stayed in Naxos at margo studios and found the whole experience really enjoyable. Nikittas was really helpful and welcomed us by picking us up from the port and presenting us with a couple of beers. The staff were really great and made our stay really relaxing. Fully recommend this place !

Wonderful family run accommodation

We were picked up from the port by Nikos. He was full of information and so friendly, we arrived late at night but this was not a problem. We were a family of 4, our room was spotless and cleaned every day. The staff were also wonderful and very friendly, we even meet Sofia most days when we went for a swim in the afternoon. Margo baked beautiful food which we had for breakfast some mornings. Our daughter got sick Nikos took us to the hospital, then came back and collected us. Nikos had to go to Athens the day we were leaving but he arranged for his wife to take us to the port on the morning we were leaving. What a wonderful place beautiful family and staff, one day we hope to return.

Great Stay, Will Repeat

Overall, my two-night stay at Margo Studios was excellent. The hotel is very clean but most importantly, the staff are very friendly, and very helpful with all matter related to Naxos - they are amazing! I will definitely book again and I highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Naxos.

Nice hotel at the west end of Naxos.

The hotel is not in the best of locations; it actually is at a 8-10 minute walk from the port but I was very impressed with the cleanliness and most especially with how friendly the staff are. We rented motorcycles which we were always able to park right outside. Their small, no frills terrace is quite relaxing.

Great place!!

Had a great stay at the Margo studios, great location in the old town, close to the port. Extended my stay as didn't appreciate how much there was to see and do. The hosts at Margo were very welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely stay at Margo studios. I extended my stay as didn't realise how much there was to see & do in Naxos. Margo studios was in great location for the port & away from the more touristy side. Was made to feel very welcome.

Close to port and old town

Helpful staff. They pick us up the middle of the night at the port after arriving by ferry! Good hotel with competitive rates. Hotel is close to the port(600m), so it's convenient if you have to catch a ferry.

Wonderful Hotel

A simple family-run hotel. My girlfriend and I loved our stay here, and ended up extending our stay from 3 to 6 nights. Nikitas is friendly and helpful. We will be back next year!

amazing hotel

Loved Margos Studios. We were picked up from the port, checked into our room right away.. the room was HUGE with a kitchenette. We were happy to find ourselves in the Grotto area, vs the popular, and BUSY, St George Beach area. We preferred going to Grotto beach and having the beach almost to ourselves vs walking the distance to St George beach which was covered in sun chairs and umbrellas. Overall, loved Naxos, and Margos Studios was super clean, family was helpful and very kind. There is a supermarket very near the hotel, and a bit farther down there is another market and a place that does your laundry for only 10 euro (they wash, dry and fold it for you!) At Margos, you are in walking distance to the port, all of the tavernas, shopping, the castle, old Naxos and St George Beach, but its less touristy and very peaceful (than the St George Beach area). We will be back for sure, and next time, for a lot longer stay!

Great place to stay

The owner was extremely helpful! After picking us up from the port, he sat us down and served us juice, showed us a map and gave us great suggestions for our short time in Naxos. The room was huge and had a small kitchenette which we appreciated. Not a far walk from town. We really enjoyed our stay!

Cute hotel walking distance to town and the port!

We were happy to find this nice, inexpensive hotel in the town (Chora) of Naxos. It was easy to walk everywhere, and the innkeepers ( mother and son) were helpful, and conversed with us in English which helped immensely since we are hideously limited in our knowledge of Greek. It is walking distance to the port, but they gave us ride back there when we left which was quite helpful. We loved Naxos, lovely interior, and some lovely beaches. Much less the self-absorbed buzz you find on Mykonos.

Great hotel & Nikitas will make you feel at home!!

We had a fantastic stay at Margo. Nikitas was a great help picking us up from the port & making us some much needed espresso !! Hotel is 5 Minutes walk from the very charming Naxos town with it's fantastic alley way shops, bars and restaurants. We will be going back to Naxos & Margo sometime soon !!

Cute hotel with amazing staff

Stay at this hotel for Nikitos and his family! They were amazing when our friends had a major emergency and had to leave for Athens immediately. Without them they wouldn't have made their flight in Athens. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the main road in Naxos town. The hotel room itself was very comfortable.The A/C was very powerful and the room was cleaned every day. We had a little patio area which was great to sit out on every morning and decide what to do. Would be happy to stay here again.
