Super cute & clean location, with a bar and ice cream spot within walking distance. In the heart- downtown- of Beijing. Lots of shops/ restaurants nearby. Staff is superb! Not only did they order DD Aka Ubers for us, but they even walked us to meet our DD drivers, helped us get around on the subway and when we couldn't communicate, would happily get their Chinese to English translator out. They even checked in with us via WhatsAPP to make sure my girls and I made it to our DD after a wild night out at the club! Friendly, tentative and exceeded my expectations. Definitely recommend. Can't wait to go back!

The Best Family vacation

Friend from Beijing recommended ManXin hotel's location for our family vacation traveling with our 90 years old Mom and 76 years young Mother-in-law. We had received some of the best personal attention from hotel staff as compared to our world-wide traveling experiences. The breakfast every morning is 5-stars with wonderful selections. The only reminder is the hotel is located in the walking-only area, so cars can not reach the front door. But the hotel staff are all very helpful with your luggage. We highly recommended.

Wow! A real gem! Beautiful hotel on a pedestrian only street. Modeled after ancient homes but with modern design and function. The service was outstanding! Maybe the best service in Beijing! The breakfast buffet was insane! Fresh, well prepared, massive variety, and all delicious! The rooms are cozy and the beds are so comfortable. This is a luxury hotel.

Really charming, historical feel located on walking street in Old Beijing. Staff doesn’t speak English but was able to answer questions through Google Translate. Breakfast was decent though limited seating in dining room. Bathtub in room was delightful.

The hotel is very nice, cozy and clean overall.It has very convenient location.Our room was clean, comfortable,stylish with an excellent gathering.Breakfast was very good and sufficient even for foreigners. One thing which was total disaster was an extra bed.Extra beds are not comfortable ever but this one was that kind of bed you start thinking about lying on the ground instead.About stuff:they were mostly nice even cute but kind of unsure and confused.Most of the staff can't speak English but try to swing them into it and they finally know the basics.There were some preparation for government meeting in connection with the 70th Anniversary of the Republic and we,as the foreigners,hadn't chance to know about it.I think that the decent and caring hotel should have told us about this because it took 4 hours to get to the hotel instead of one.The situation on streets were absolute mess and every roads were closed and guarded by hundreds of policemen who unthinkingly propel us like a herd of cows and almost nobody speaks English again.Hotel didn't pick up phone.Finally we did check-in but it looks like they didn't know about our reservation and it took really long and even if I wrote to the hotel about an extra bed it was not prepared.We wanted to go to sleep but it took half an hour to prepare. And they firstly claimed 300RMB but after we demanded it for free after all problems we get it for free. Better EB, better English and bit better service and the hotel is perfect!

Pleasantly surprised

The staff was incredibly helpful. Not all of them are comfortable with English but most do a fine job of communicating one way or another. Michael, the front desk manager was absolutely fantastic. He went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The free breakfast was very nice and a lifesaver since we wouldn't have know where to go for breakfast anyway. One thing to be aware of is that you can't get all the way to the door of the hotel with a vehicle. You have to be dropped off at the end of the walking street about 100 meters away. The good part of that is that the street in front of the hotel has no traffic noise. The wi-fi requires a password sent to a Chinese phone (the staff will set you up using their phone). Wi-fi was also slow and spotty at times. Not sure if it's the hotel's fault or service in general.

They didn’t give us the room we ordered on Expedia. It was available. They didn’t say why. They initially didn’t offer a lower price for the smaller room, but did so after we complained. The new room was fine. They worked hard to please after that. We didn’t care for the free breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay at ManXing very much! Receptionist and cleaners are all very nice and friendly. Breakfast buffet are very nicely and thoroughly prepared, there are also other simple dishes that you can request. They gave us some local snack when we leave too. Very sweet of them. Great location with food street located just 5-10min walks. Definitely a place you would love to come back again!

We were turned away to another hotel. The staff was apologetic but still a bit ridiculous.

Beautiful Hutong Hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful (Thanks Michael!). Taxi drivers have a hard time finding it as the road is blocked for most vehicles unless construction vehicle or police. Odd no coffee or hot tea at breakfast. With the road outside front door being covered with large metal plates to protect the roadway from ongoing construction in surrounding areas, at night when a car or truck does use the road it was extremely loud. This isn't the hotels fault however.

Lovely courtyard style hotel, great location, amazing breakfast and excellent service above all-else.

Overall hotel and location was great. Friendly staff. Only issue was with checkin - room was not ready at 2:30pm checkin time and the staff was unable to find out info after we returned to check in later.

The Staff was great! From reception all the way through to the Lady who tended the breakfast area and the cleaning staff. The location was convenient on walking streets near important sights, good food and shopping. (It was away from the areas with high concentrations of American and European tourist.)

The furniture and decoration of the rooms and common areas was very pleasing. Working with the the staff who don't speak English requires a little extra effort but the people are so nice and helpful, we didn't mind at all. Breakfast was different every day and very good. My wife thought she detected a little sewer gas smell in our room. Possibly a problem with the drain trap? Whatever imperfections this hotel has are more than compensated for by the genuine friendliness of the staff. Looked forward to coming back to the hotel every evening after a day of sightseeing. I would stay here again.

Amazing hotel in renovated hutong (little typical neighbourhoods ) of Beijing. Close to restaurants and main touristic points of interest of the city. Employees are really nice and ready to help. Just be prepared to be a bit lost in translation as they are not all fluent in english.

Good location and staff was very polite. Tea, snacks, fruits and drinks were all free of charge. We got the classic double room, it was extremely small! The floor space was not big enough to open a medium sized suitcase. Room design was not logical for travellers. Buffet breakfast had a good selection, but the restaurant has only 3 tables. I would recommend getting in before 8am if you don't want to wait around for a table. Although there is much to love about his hotel, from my experience here I would book elsewhere. The new Muji hotel near by would of been a better choice.

Great experience staying there. Very friendly and helpful staff, serving me hot tea evey time I got back from outside and offered late night snacks as well. Each room is in a siheyuan, very unique. Location is also continent for tourist. It is close to tiananmen and forbidden city. Also within five mins walk from subway station. Lots of good restaurants in this area. Not much night life around here though.

Great location

The hotel was superb but the heater in our room was too intense and the hotel could not fix it. We were sweating as we slept... They eventually upgraded us to a better room after I complained repeatedly. Would stay here again for sure! Location was superb.

ManXin BeiJing Hotel - Hutong Central

A very modern yet quaint little hotel centrally located and within a 10 minute walk south from Tiananmen Square and Chairman Mao's Mausoleum as well as the Beijing Metro. Buses and taxis also frequent the area. The hotel is also located really close to Qianmen Street shopping and restaurant precinct. A modem twist to the traditional hutong setting, the hotel has a warm, friendly and inviting appeal. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and modern. The King size bed was extremely comfortable, although the room was only just wide enough to fit it in. Or standard room was small and compact but comfortable for a day or two stay. When we asked for a late check-out, we were kindly given until 3pm which was a great help, and after mentioning we were in our honeymoon, free complimentary breakfast was also provided for my wife and I which was unexpected but very hospitable. All in all, a very good experience. It's definitely stay there again.

hutong hotel great location

the hotel is newly renovated from a hutong. the room is spacious, heating is gd. the location is excellent, in the middle of the qiamen shopping district with lots to see, eat and shop. the staff are very helpful. short walk to qiamen. qiamen has a subway metro. takes about 20min to walk to wangfujing. booking taxi and bringing out the luggage to the main road. note that the taxi is not able to come in, have to board/alight from the main road. hotel is about 100m from the main road.

Great service, good location, interesting site.

It is an interesting one of a kind experience to stay in converted Hutong old building. The rooms are well designed, however lacking in details. The staff were very attentive and helpful.

Hôtel Magnifique et confortable, très bien placé au calme et à deux pas de la promenade Piétonne Qianmen . Situé dans un Hutong restauré. On y accède par une rue piétonne. Le personnel est très chaleureux et professionnel. Certains employés parlent très bien l’anglais, les autres communiquent par une application de traduction sur leurs téléphones. Ils vous accompagnent vers la rue jusqu’à votre taxi pour lui expliquer votre destination. Un petit buffet de biscuits, de fruits, eau, thé et café, en permanence à disposition. Chambres et équipements très confortables et modernes avec une belle décoration chinoises. Un petit soucis de vis à vis et d’insonorisation dans les chambres. Petit déjeuner occidental très limité. Nous recommandons!

酒店位置理想，設計古典清雅，但最令我們難忘的是各位員工的熱誠和盡心的幫忙。那羣幹勁沖天的前台小哥小妹，給我們打車，引路，訂票，畫地圖...無所不至。早餐更也是一大亮點，種類多又好吃，阿姨忙個不休卻笑臉盈盈。 住了十天、真捨不得離開。

Ottima posizione, a pochi minuti a piedi da piazza Tienanmen. Quartiere molto tranquillo. La via è pedonale quindi bisogna camminare qualche centinaia di metri con le valige.

四日三夜；為了感受一下四合院住房；寧願支付貴一點的租房價格；但酒店安排房間太久等了3-4小時；但酒店安排一間在大堂旁的房間；完全不是四合院建築和不值訂房費用！我只能在最後一晚额外支付一千多元費用；才能享受四合院建築

服務態度好

員工服務很好，有禮貌，酒店新淨，地點位置佳，離前門地鐵站很近，酒店附近多商店。整體不錯。

酒店優雅的裝修跟四合院的環境很匹配，能給人心境平和舒適的感覺。地方十分整潔，員工服務態度亦很好，感受到他們真的是盡心盡力去打理好這間酒店。地點優越，就在前門的後方，旁邊便是鮮魚口美食街，吃飯跟買手信也很方便。更重要的是，北京的地鐵繁忙時間真是十分擠擁，而前門站所在的2號線比較沒那麼繁忙，下車回酒店也容易點。

美中不足

服務員態度很友善；酒店別具特色，中西合璧，但建議浴室及洗手間加裝捲簾。鄰近前門大街，購物飲食皆方便，但附近有地盤工程，車輛出入比較嘈吵，影響睡眠。

满喜欢的，前台服务员很热心帮助解答问题，提供了不少便利，如水，小吃，水果等等，早餐也经济实惠，酒店地理位置优越，去哪里都方便，就是不可以指定园内房间。

入住時房对面维修路，晚上很嘈，後來轉了房，就非常好。另早餐的餐廳座位了，住了皿天都要等位。另外服務員非常親切有礼.

El lugar es único, excelente ubicación y la construcción es excelente. No muchas personas hablan ingles lo que complica un poco la comunicación pero de ahí en mas muy buena elección.

地段好，酒店管理混乱

为了避开高峰年初八入住的，我们中午到的，说暂时无房，理解的。周边景点逛完，17点回来依然无房，很无语。前台坐了几桌无房入住的客人，已经吵起来了。第二天外出回来16点半，房间没有打扫过，再一次无语了。收了五星的价格，管理却十分混乱，服务人员除了态度好，就没有其它的了。不知道是人手不够呢，还是客房部无人管理。房间打扫和餐具清洁做的很马虎，总之入住感受不佳。酒店地段是十分好的，出门就是前门大栅栏，周边吃的很多，离地铁公交都近。可以考虑住周边的其他酒店，比如WUJI 无印良品hotel。

Raffiné et aux petits soins

Magnifique hôtel tout neuf, très bien situé à proximité de la place Tiananmen. Le personnel est aux petits soins, un vrai bonheur. Les chambres sont splendides. Déco soignée et audacieuse. Excellent petit déjeuner très varié. Une bonne découverte à Pékin.

Great location, very helpful and polite staffs. Rooms are tidy and clean. Staying in the traditional Chinese courtyard style is a great experience and the atmosphere is fantastic. Breakfast is good also. Must stay again when next visit to Beijing. Strongly recommended.

直得一試的四合院酒店

很有特式的四合院，很新淨，地點位於北京市中心，很方便，但的士不能在門口落車，要在附近對面馬路落。 房間很大，是加大雙人床，厠所是開放式，有浴缸，但設計不方便，要把所有窗廉關上才能安心用。另外，我訂房時說明有3位成人入住（3位比2位價錢貴），而介紹說明可以加床，但原來要另外收費，即變相多收費，而且早餐只包2位（他說每間房都只包2位），感覺酒店政策有點奇怪！
