Beautiful hotel
Very close to the mosque. Walking distance very important. Highly recommed
Walking distance to the Haram and to malls nearby. The hotel is a little outdated but the service is great and the breakfast and lunch options were good.
The property needs renovation. The rooms are old decor and bathrooms need to be updated. Breakfast buffet quality is extremely poor for the money you pay. Very crowded public areas.
NA
Very near to Haram clean big and renovated breakfast is good
Excellent location. Walk to Masjid Nabwi less than 3 minutes. Excellent service by Mr Badar.
Breakfast fees were very high and food quality was not that great.
Great place to stay.
Excellent location & friendly staff
The quality of food in breakfast and dinner buffet were phenomenal.
The location and service were excellent
Recommended
It is very near to Masjid , kitchen food good ,room cleaning just standard staff on the counter average
I didn’t like anything there and the food was the worse.
proximity to the masjid makes me come here each visit. A clean and well maintained property
Amazing accommodation!
The most beautiful city Madina Al Munawara we enjoyed to stay in this hotel while visiting the Profit SAW, Masjid.
very nice place
Like: -Location -cleanliness Dislike: -we were inspired with the facilities of Macca (Hilton-Jabl Omar), unfortunately this facility lacks certain features such as complimentary items (fruits basket, sweets etc). -Long waiting on lifts after prayer times
Nice stay near Al haram.
I had a comfortable and classy stay at the hotel. Loved it
Excellent Hotel . Small issue at Check out . Reception Staff need to be trained on customer service.
Regular visitor to this hotel but they have changed the decor, customer service was way better than previously experienced.
Very nice area and close to everything
Clean
Alhamdulillah, so close to Masjid Nawabi and great hotel overall
This is an excellent place to stay if you care for Women’s prayer areas in the masjid.
Door key had trouble working
Proximity to Grand Mosque, stylish design and excellent service
Lovely hotel ,we traveled from Canada . It was very good . At first we were waiting so long for check in , but the room was very nice and clean. Location is great .
great
Excellent location,Excellent service
Excellent location, central to the masjid Large shopping area around the hotel so you can get everything you need in a few minutes Staff are all courteous
Average
I know I was in one of the most peaceful place on earth. But Hilton continued to extend that tranquility from the Prophet’s mosque to its hotel. Loved it here.
I book the hotel they show me the room
Staring with food: it was amazing. Everything is cooked well and we didn't need to be worried about getting sick. The people were very nice and we had one waiter at the resturant that was willing to give us anything we needed for food (his name was Ahmed). The room service and the room cleaners did a great job and nothing was dusty or unclean. The stores around the hotel were very convenient and there were more than enough places to shop from for literally anything you may need or want (there are nearby pharmacies and grocery stores as well). Everything was in walking distance and the weather was great as well (we went in February). Definitely reccomend :)
Positives: Proximity of location to the Prophet's mosque, and the reception staff was nice and welcoming. Negatives: Although smoking was not allowed inside the property, we still smelled lits of cigarettes from nearby rooms, when complained, nothing was done. The room and toilet were really dirty. The condition of furniture is very old. Thia should not be rated 5 or even 4 stars.
!
location was grate and near to my visiting plan. not like the parking area very tight and not organized.
Just 3 to 4 minutes walk to Majid Nabvi
Excellent service and friendly staff
Stay was excellent.
Makkah Hilton
Hotel fo the price we paid was well under expectation, the hotel rooms are tired AC not workinf properly although they sent someone to fix it, but thr hotel is in dire need of refurbishment. The bathroom is in need a complete makeover together with room. The rooms are quite small as well.
For the price that it is charging, it is a very average property. The best thing about the property is the close proximity to the Holy Mosque. Also, booking via Expedia was a nightmare as the hotel emailed me only 12 hours before my arrival, asking me for wire transfer as they could not secure the credit card payment from Expedia. I had to reach out to the hotel personally and it was very difficult to get hold of their reservation department to make sure that they don’t cancel my booking. Expedia wasnt any help is resolving the issue either
Compared to our experience in Makkah hotels, the experience at Hilton was underwhelming. The staff ar reception was less welcoming , less smiles, less enthusiasm and overall less special. Facilities are old and less maintained, breakfast was really good but expensive.
Great place to be.
Maintenance is very poor! Strong odor was coming from bathroom!! Housekeeping is very poor!!!
Better food menu
Amazing Location, Great Service!!
thank you
Great place to stay in
Best place to stay at Holy Masjid Medinah 5 min walk to Holy Masjid Haram and best breakfast I ever had
we had a good time, staff were very helpful with all requests we had.
Great location close to the masjid Nabawi. Lots of shopping and food options near by as well.
Very friendly
I didn’t like the room
Convenience
The hotel is conveniently coated next to the gate
Good
The room accessories are quite old for it to claim to be a 5 star property. For cleaning follow up was required. Breakfast was good.
Very nice hotel
Had a great experience with my family. Staff are so helpful - from reception to the check out. Great location! However the guy and the lady at the fresh cooking station for breakfast were really grim and unwelcoming - not what I expect from someone working in the service industry. Other than this, it was very good stay.
Excellent stay. The check in staff were very friendly and helpful. The only down side is that some of the furniture is out dated and needs renovation. Other than that everything was amazing in out trip.
I liked the convenience of being close to haram and staff was very friendly especially during breakfast time. However, being a mom and having a stroller with me all the time made a difficult to manuver because the automatic door was shut down without a reason. When you going to haram 5 times a day entrance becomes uneasy. Also, the bathroom was missing a hairdryer. Other than that it was a nice experience.
Good for the Money
Thank you to the recipients, she upgraded my room as I’m a golden member. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I like staying at this hotel because it’s walking distance from the Haram and shops.
Very courteous and accommodating staff. Our checkout time was 12 and our flight was at 10:15pm, they allowed us to stay till after Zuhar and checkout at 2pm. Excellent location next to Masjid e Nabawi. You could hear the azaan and the prayer from your room. Fast food, shopping options easily accessible. Best decision to stay here for someone new to the area.
Room was pie and needs updating, service wasn’t good had to ask several times for more water and clean towels and boiler noise kept me up all night
Good location for women entrance to prophet’s mosque.
3Stars Hotel.
١- I CONTACTED THEY IGNORED ME. 2- I REQUESTED COTTON BED SHEETS FROM RECEPTION AND ROOM SERVICE THEY IGNORE ME. 3- NEXT DAY I ASKED RECEPTION THEY SAID THEY DONT HAVE. WAHT TAIPE IS THIS HOTEL. POOR HOTEL. I AM ALLERGIC OF PULOSTREN MATERIAL
Umrah purpose I staying in Medinah Hilton Hotel ..I feel very comfortable and happy to stay here .All staff is very caring ..I extended my room 2 times front desk is very helpful for me . Specially thanks to Amjad mehmood who look after me very politely Highly recommend inshallah next time I will stay here
Really amazing place, front desk team & specially Amjad Mahmood, humble guy, great help whenever you need. Highly recommend this place. Ideal hotel to stay
Don’t stay here !!
In terms of value for money, this has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Decor is from about 30 years ago, the hotel needs a complete refurb. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The housekeeping staff were very nice but the hotel overall is not even 1*. Awful. Avoid !!
- the hotel is beautiful however it lacks proper facility to accommodate Disable people. The ramp outside for wheel chair is far too steep, the Door to the hotel isn’t always manned so it’s difficult to get in and out with Wheelchair. Apart from mentioned above the hotel is absolutely brilliant in every other area from the room to location right outside masjid nabwi
Loved the Staff, Good Hotel but needs upgrading
Amazing location. Hotel staff was superb and very sweet. The food was decent too. I do feel the hotel furniture and fixtures need to be updated as they felt a bit rough. The AC was super loud and hard to manage too. I only make these suggestions as I feel the location is unreal and with that access to MAsjid E Nabwi they can really make this a better hotel
Very conveniently located near the Haram. very friendly and polite staff
Great hotel, however, the sink in the bathroom was clogged. The issue was addressed and the overall experience was pretty good!
Madinah trip with family march 2023
All very nice thanks and JazakAllah khair Else then on going construction noise in the premises
10 out of 10 for staff members! :)
Brought my parents to Madinah and the room was exactly the same as the pictures on hotels.com except the sofa bed wasn't actually a sofa bed, so they brought a roller bed instead which was super comfortable. The entire hotel is super dated (looks like I went back in time to the late 80s or early 90s). Please seriously consider renovating the entire building so it is modern. The phones in the room are wicked old. Location is prime (right next to masjid Nabawi, which made it easy for my parents to walk). Very spacious room and bathroom, with really good shower. Breakfast was included and was delightfully international. However, the rates of the rooms are absurdly high for such a dated hotel. Special shoutout to Wael Zaki in housekeeping. He really made our stay so very special with his big smile, warmth, welcome and attention to detail whenever we asked for something. He is respectful, kind and very thoughtful. Promote him, please- but before you do, have him train new crew members so they are just like him in his demeanor. Mostafa in the restaurant was very kind and made sure we were taken care of. And the Pakistani man working in concierge (I believe his name was Jamil?) was incredibly helpful, knowledgable and went above and beyond to help us get around Madinah. He even found Urdu speaking drivers for us per our request & provided a foldable chair for my mother who has trouble sitting, and umbrellas for our outdoor treks in Madinah. 10 out of 10 for customer service!
Very close to masjid nabavi
Good place to stay
Medina Hilton is an amazing place to stay, a bit costly but worth every penny, I personally would go back to it in the future and recommend it to anyone that is looking for the short distance to the Masjid Nabawie combined with all the other features.
Great
Excellent location, amazing staff, great food and best guest relations - quick room service and really nice experience throughout -
Frame of Nice scenery with Church.
Located in the most Holiest place for Muslims, in the City of Madinah, right front of the Masjid Nabwi, with each room has a Frame of scenery with church. What a pick. Regards
Close proximity to the Nabi Mosque.
Everything was perfect and I was really impressed with my experience. Thank you for your hospitality.
Great choice for convenient access to mosque.
Great choice for visitors to the holy mosque. The staff and hotel all suited our needs very well. Would definitely use again.
The Hotel is close to Haram and on the main street. It is a safe and clean place. Food and shopping are right there. The staff is amiable. They know their job. Oh yeah, the breakfast buffet is luxurious.
Property location is perfect
Even though we had to check un 3hrs late it was all fine after that.
Amazing
Everything was great! Service impeccable … staff highly respectable … what more can I say
Hotel was located within few steps away from Al Masjid an Nabawi and was very convenient to go to masjid for prayers. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast quality was very good. However, hotel restaurant buffet dinner was expensive and not inclusive of juice or soft drinks which costs extra.
Room was ready 23 minutes after checking time Room was not the one reserved Smelled awful Spots on couch Dirty carpet Drainage issue in bathroom Manipulative staff I wish to request a full refund for the huge inconvenience and zero value for money
This property is a smoking building. After multiple attempts of telling staff guest are smoking in the lobby of the 11th floor, our concerns went unchecked. Extremely disturbing having to deal with smokers inside the facility while children, elderly, and people with asthma are in company. Overall, the Oud (Arab fragrance) was intense in this location as if they were trying to cover the smoking allowed up. Just unfortunate. Prime location.
Restaurant is not good for breakfast and dinner buffet 👎 dirty
The property needs renovation. Also, the staff was not ready in restaurants
Dated hotel, not kept clean bathroom in clean
Excellent service from all the staff - very friendly and accommodating. Excellent location for Haram.
It was good . The room cleaning was not doing their job and was not cleaning room properly . I had to ask them to clean room
GOOD
Hygienic
Property amenities are outdated, WiFi connectivity remained to be a challenge until we were about to check out, not very flexible or accommodating to the Hilton Honors Members who had to check out early. Breakfast buffet was a sold 6/10, hotel accommodations were a 7/10, Guest services were a solid 4/10, Location and proximity of property to important landmarks in the city was a 9/10. We will pass on this property considering the cost and value for the stay.
