Lyndsay Guesthouse is in a very good location for Skegness seafront.The breakfast was very good and lots of choices. The bedroom was very roomy and bed was comfortable. Alan & Linda are very friendly hosts and welcomed us to their guesthouse.Would recommend

Saying farewell to departed friend

My visit was 15 to 19 March 2025 , I've chosen this location because to all amenities, bedroom with bathroom spot because i did alot walking along the promenade.

Very friendly hosts, help was there if you needed any, the room was very clean and well presented, We had a television, we had tea, coffee sugar, milk, biscuits, a sanitised toilet, an onsuite shower. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely choosing the same Guest house next year

Perfect stay in Skegness

Our stay was perfect. The breakfast options fantastic, full English delicious. The room comfortable and nice with lots of little extras. Just a short 5 minute walk into Skegness perfect

Fantastic B&B

Excellent stay. Wonderful hosts. Absolutely loved the room, it had everything you could ever need. Lovely smelling clean bed linen. Room and bathroom spotlessly clean. Lots of different beverages and biscuits supplied in room. Very tasty breakfast, not greasy and homemade bread. Will be back and would definitely recommend. Brilliant. location.

The hosts are very friendly and me and my husband feel at home. Very good breakfast. Will surely come back.

Lyndsay Guest House

From the point of stepping through the front door to leaving, Alan and Linda could not have made our stay any better. Absolutely everything was catered for, even those bits and bobs you forget to take with you. It was a lovely stay and i would recommend to other travellers.

Amazing hosts, great location

Loved our stay here. We received a warm welcome from the hosts, the room was lovely with lots of personal touches throughout. The breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious with lots of choice. The hotel is well placed with the town and beach only a couple of minutes walk away. We will absolutely be returning here in the near future.

Fantastic

I stayed at the Lyndsey Guest House for two nights. The room had absolutely everything I could ever need and was one of the most comfortable rooms I’ve had in my many years of travelling. The hosts could not do enough for me and even carried my luggage out to car because I am disabled. The breakfast was delicious. It was a full English breakfast but you could also choose from many different cereals if you wanted as well. The location was perfect. It is within walking distance of the seafront, the shops, the train and bus stations. There are also many lovely restaurants to choose from at either end of the road should you want to go out for dinner. I will definitely be returning. I was made most welcome.

Amazing B&B

I could not fault Lyndsay Guest, the room was very well equipped, lovely food, I could not want for any more. I was made to feel very welcome and would definitely stay again.

The place to stay

Had a fantastic stay in Skegness with Linda and Alan. Lovely couole who really look after their guests. Wonderful breakfast and excellent service. If your going to Skegness, try to book here first. This will be very hard to beat for value and service. Will definitely be staying there again. 5 stars would never be enough to rate it.

Short stay Skegness

Right from arrival we were made most welcome our room was ready so we whent up to make a drink after our journey from Lincoln.The room was absolutely fantastic more like staying with family than a guest house and this continued throughout our stay.The breakfast set us up for the day, well at least till teatime can't recommend this guest house enough and we will return again ps we stayed in room number 2 and if you can thats the room to be in and once again a big thanks to our hosts Linda and Alan for a fantastic stay you made us most welcome and we will return Geoff and Marion Handsley

Breakfast was ok , nice owners, not very clean, bed was very hard and the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on couldn't walk next morning

Needed accommodation at short notice and although we arrived after stated check in time we’re warmly welcomed. Comfortable accommodation convenient to town centre and beach. Great breakfast. Excellent value. Will book if we return to Skegness. Thanks

From start to finish, the service was excellent. The owners were welcoming and paid attention to every detail from memorising our breakfast order to checking out late. If we return to Skegness, we will definitely stay here again. Overall 10/10.

mini break

Enjoyable mini break. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, a bath in the room ( not a shower) bonus. Plenty of free parking on the road outside, though you do have to wait for a spot (the local workers park outside all the hotels, you just have to wait until evening when they go home to get an ideal spot). Lovely cooked breakfast, aswell as cereals etc. Proper cofffee too. Quiet location, 5 minute walk to sea front and 5 mins to pubs and shops.

Fantastic Friendly Hosts!

Just got back from a weekend break. Our hosts made us feel very welcome. Nice cosy B&B and a lovely breakfast. Look forward to coming back on our next trip to Skegness.

Fabulous family run guest house

This family hotel is run by a couple who cannot do enough for you to make your visit a happy one. They were in contact with us before we arrived and helped us book our mobility scooters. The guest house is immaculate and situated in a great spot only minutes from the pier, town and both bus and train station. This is one you will return to so book early before it's gone.

The breakfast was lovely,but the bathroom was a little bit small

We had a really nice overnight stay with a great breakfast. Very comfortable and clean room. Quiet but convenient location within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Would recommend a stay here whether for business or pleasure.

This guest house was close to the sea front and was a very comfortable stay. We were made to feel welcome and our hosts took good care of us.

Home from home, Lyndsey guest house is amazing. It's as if the owners have lived in the room & know what is needed. There are plenty of draw space, wash things, towels & flannels. Hot drinks supplied & kettle, milk & biscuits. Then there are the little extras that make a massive difference, cotton wool, facial wipes, sewing kit, note pad, touch lighting by beds, alarm clock, fan in summer, hair dryer. If there is something you need just ask as Alan & Linda can't do enough for you. Breakfast is included in the price & it's lovely with Linda's home made bread. Alan goes out of his way to help you, he fixed batteries in my son's toy & removed a spider at 11 o clock at night. The only thing we missed was a mini fridge to keep drinks cold, that would have been perfect. The beds are so comfortable & everywhere is spotlessly clean. We have stayed here twice & feel like we are at home. There are sweets & chocolates dotted around downstairs to help yourself (it was like Christmas). Definitely stay again & recommend to anyone. A fantastic stay yet again.

Absolutely loved our stay. Alan,Linda and family were absolutely delightful. They made us feel extremely welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay as stress free as possible, as we have a little one. Breakfast was delicious and our room was very cosy and clean. Can’t wait to book our next stay with them. Would highly recommend!!

Very easy to get to from the station and very close to the beach. Lovely friendly couple and breakfast filled you for the day. Room was adequate for our use with plenty of tea/coffee etc. There is nothing to say against staying here and we would go again.

Great place to stay,central for everywhere

It was just by chance we booked the Lyndsay.It is a lovely place to stay in a quiet area.The owners made us so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The Breakfast was perfect with a good choice.In fact we enjoyed it so much we stayed another night and I am sure we will return again. Thank you very much to them both

Comfy & clean

Friendly hosts, they open up there home to you, it's not like a guest house. Everything you want is there. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean & fresh. Clean towels daily if required. All toiletries left by previous guests are available if you forget anything. Little extras in room like tissues, note pad, cotton wool. A lovely breakfast & homemade bread. Alan sorted out my son's toy when he needed a screw driver & Linda bought us sweets from shopping that we couldn't find. Only downside if you don't like clutter is there are loads of Nik naks around house & garden. Lovely people & a lovely stay, I would definitely go back.
