Nice quaint place to stay ideally located next to city centre attractions.
The Guest house was great for town location etc & staff i spoke to were very polite.Only Problem i had was no toilet in room but i knew that & there were toilets around my room.
The area was not particularly close to the train but I did find it. Few neighbours exist, but perhaps it was fine when Lost established the property. No actual crime problems in Aberdeen whatsoever.
Ok
Good
Budget friendly property for students and travelers looking to stay in Aberdeen City Centre. Sandra the care taker of the lodging is always smiling and willing to ensure that customers have a comfortable stay.
It was a very quaint and private place for the prize, can be a little loud at night but was very nice to have shower in room and private rooms!!
Very amenable staff in a solid location
Everything you need at a budget friendly price. Only criticism would be lack of sweeteners in the beverage bowl, other than that this is a place I will definitely use again and I will bring my own sweeteners next time.
Excellent budget hotel
This is based on the price, it was only about £35 a night so didn't expect much. The staff were all very friendly the room was comfortable and the breakfast was lovely, for the price I can't fault it
Great area. Can't go in back door where car was parked was a bit annoying. Area behindguest house needs a tidy up. Bit of rubbish lay in ng around but it didn't affect our stay
Great
Place was dirty seen one staff member the whole stay and that was to check in
reasonable value hotel free parking in the road outside overnight £5 pounds for car park but good value as I was able to leave my car there while I was in Aberdeen.
Fantastic value for money, clean and spacious would recommend
It wasn't clear until i arrived that parking was an additional £5 and that breakfast was not included
The staff couldn't have been any nicer kids loved having the TV would come back again thankyou x
I couldn’t sleep In morning because of lot of Knocks at my door, I don’t know for what reason. I don’t like it isn’t proper.
One night in Aberdeen
Our stay was fine, not excellent, not bad. The room did what we expected.
Staff were friendly. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Access to the property is difficult. It requires an intercom call. I had to wait a few minutes outside before checking in. Front door keys are issued but the door is hard to push open and will be impossible for very young or disabled people. Room had no toilet but had access to a shared one at end of corridor. Breakfast was basic but good enough. I chose this accommodation due to large unavailability of hotels at the time of an European oil & gas event.
Having read the reviews was maybe a bit better than expected but was noisy with people walking around in rooms above and doors banging from 330 am onwards. Would be good idea if they put signs on doors asking people to be quiet over night. Shared bathroom was ok cleanliness was good. Was that expensive I guess due to oil week. Grateful they had room as everywhere else was booked up!
Good
Safe & comfy. I had a room with shared bathroom, great value and all clean. Staff were nice & very helpful, but no dedicated reception staff. They're doing other jobs around the hotel, so need to ring bell and wait. Late checkout available at just £5.
Great location, friendly staff, excellent value for money, I’d stay again.
I have stayed here before. was pleased with my stay so booked again. But this time the shower in my room would go ice cold then scalding hot and water dribbled out. Wasn’t able to shower
Good
In the city center
Great comfy place clean toilets in the center
Good stay, but people slamming doors or the doors having no shut slow hinges which would be better, but overall a good place to stay……
Small but nice place to stay
It was a nice place to stay while looking for a flat. Bed was comfortable and nice to have my own shower. Good size room for a single. Convenient to downtown Aberdeen.
Great Little Place
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The cooked breakfast was delicious.
The front door key as a 24 hour option was the main attraction and is still very useful. The walls are very thin so people were audible in the next room
Not Again
Room had no table for stting at - So for business trip really awkward set for Laptop perched on bed side cabinet. £5.00 parking charge per night at rear Car Park - do not mind paying as Aberdeen is notorius for street parking meters - not informed until arrival, look on Booking Info not listed on there either.
AWFUL!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
No services what so ever, room smaller than advertised! AWFUL custumer service from hotel.com and the guest house
Stayed over for 1 night (working away) this was perfect for our needs. Staff were very helpful. All amenities that we required were included.
The bed was very comfortable. Better than Travelodge, so were the pillows. Very useful microwave and paper plates, and iron and ironing board. Very helpful staff, especially in this time of coronavirus.
Booked the hotel because it said free parking here on hotels.com. When we arrived we were told that there was none. Rundown small room. It was cheap but still not worth the money compared to the other places we visited during our two weeks in Scotland.
We stayed in room 23 which was on the ground floor, we had really noisy guests above us so we constantly heard foot steps.
Decent
Advertised as having free parking, upon arrival was told there was a £5 parking charge. Breakfast was advertised as £7 but was only £6 so that was something. Overall decent stay, nothing to complain about.
Well done
Friendly, clean and very welcoming
Large comfortable rooms, very friendly service. So close to Union street...would come again ..
Room wasn’t clean when I arrived and not cleaned during my stay, carpet needed hoovered
Work stay
The place was spotlessly clean, and the owner was very friendly. Breakfast was good too , this is 2 mins from bars and restaurant
Good location 2 mins from main Union Street . Peaceful area Aberdeen good bus/train links
There was a disruptive guest and the host knew I was affected. Even though I didn’t complain she automatically relocated me to another room. The only Inconvenience was the locations of the toilets...far away on middle floor.
The staff so nice, the locstion is so central but quiet so thats good too. The rooms a good size and perfect for a stay. The breakfast lovely so well presented and tasty, the place was clean i couldn't fault thanks for having us
right downtown
right downtown, on a somewhat busy side street, and thus very conveniently located; our room was spacious and quiet, with two single beds; WC was a short distance from the room; breakfast was nice, with both hot and cold food; some steps to negotiate, both inside and outside; parking on the street only (payable during the day); nice reception people.
Hidden gem
I had a very pleasant stay nice clean room hot shower and lovely breakfast
Everything you need except luxury.
Staff was amazing. Just really nice. Great breakfast. The price was so reasonable that all the little "not luxury" type stuff makes sense. If you want a huge television or the upscale life, than skip this hotel. If you want nice, decent, cheerful, close to Union Street, bus station, train and more, than this I see a great choice.
Stay was okay
odd having shower in the room itself and electrical connections were a bit suspect
Good location
Good. Location near to train station, centre.
Really good value for the centre of town. Well laid out with all essential facilities available - loved it. Will go back there next time I'm in Aberdeen
