Over rated and disappointing.
If you are a smoking, meat eater who loves cold water therapy, get it booked. Good location. Nice gym.
Fantastic staff - Great stay
Great stay and even more fanatstic staff. Hotel has very good facilities, two outdoor pools and spacious rooms. We opted for half-board and I have to stay breakfast and dinner were really worth it. Food felt slightly repetitive after two weeks of stay though. Hotel is very close to a small supermarket and plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. We had a hire car and location was great to explore every corner of the island. Staff deserve special credit for being very kind, friendly and helpful. Keep the prices reasonable and we will definitely return to Los Zocos.
Reception staff is good. All need to focus on Dinning / Food service staff. Dinning staff 80 percent is not welcoming and not looking that people eating they grab plates. We on half board and check for evening snack if available, they told it’s free but later come and charge us. All it’s about if we ask let us know need to pay or not. Rest amazing property. Thanks
Unfortunately I don’t have much good to tell you. We had booked a senior suite at the resort. The first night we found out that the springs in the matresses were coming thru. So due to the poor sleep and backpain we started the vacation not in the best way. The next day the bed was replaced with a new one. We were located on the ground floor which had some unconveniences, which could be expected, however also prevented. For example, We got frequent visits from cockroaches and daily visits from ants. Which were also on the nightstands and sometimes the matras. Also because of the drip system outside, the room smelled like 💩 during the day. The Airconditioning did not work properly and is in desperate need of cleaning. The room itself wasn’t that clean either. Lots of spider rag, dust, bathroom mold and Brown toilet porcelain. The room interior was not what you would expect for a senior suite. Outdated and outlived and total lack of ambience. We had frequent unexpected power outages in the room which could be fixed by switching the breakers back in the up position. Rooms were very noisy and you could hear all adjacent and above rooms shower and flush and more. For a room that costs 200 euros per night you would expect a bit more. Location was convenient. Close to everything. They have lots of pools which unfortunately weren’t heated at all. Although they advertised 1 pool being heated. So the water was really cold.
Perfect!
Absolutely cannot fault this hotel. I have not ate Spanish breakfast for over 10 years but this looked too nice not to try, I tried and it was absolutely amazing! Pools are fantastic and staff are incredible. Your rooms are clean and modern. Cannot moan about a single thing with this hotel. We always visit Tenerife but will definitely visit this place again. Oh and a 1/3 of the price we have just payed for the same 4 star hotel in Tenerife which is no where near as good as this. Hope to visit again very soon!
Fabulous efficient staff, lovely rooms
Really enjoyed our stay. Resort and room very clean. Staff friendly.. excellent for kids/2 activities available through the day.. food really good in the restaurant (always find something to eat) we couldn’t book the Italian restaurant as we had a child under 12….no fighting for sun beds but did go non peak season.. brill location. Would definitely book again.. we booked AI but there was adequate cooking facilities in the apartment to cook simple meals (didn’t use these but would have if not AI)
Great pool, nice location, food good but could do with a bit more variety, entertainment at night not great, apartment could do with a good cleaning but was great size
hotel has seen better days. food is adapted to british customers.
Excellent hotel
We have been before and it an excellent hotel , clean , good selection of food , will definitely be going again
Worth a visit, only at a good price though.
Hotel is a very nice hotel with good facilities suitable for a family holiday. Only downside is the food. Breakfast is great however, lunch and dinner a little difficult to put together a decent meal. Ate out second half of the week in the evenings. As it’s an all inclusive resort would stay again only if a good price was available but would go self catering and eat out next time.
Lovely hotel with a great location!
My husband and I stayed at Los Zocos on our Easter holiday with our two daughters. We really liked the hotel and its facilities. The kids club had a great programme and the pool area was very child friendly. We will visit again for sure!
Great place for families
great kids club
fab staff
Convenient to all amenities in the area
My stay was absolutely fabulous. (Too short) The resort was very clean and well maintained and all the staff were helpful. The only problem was that I had a mobility scooter and found it very difficult to gain access through the entrance to the to the apartments, and there was no socket in hallway to charge the scooter overnight.
Excellent stay!
Was a bit concerned beforehand about the food, given some of the reviews on here. But we had nothing to be worried about. The buffet food is not restaurant quality, but it was always fresh, hot and tasty. The free a la carte dinner at the Italian restaurant on site was a lovely surprise (seemed like you get one night free per all inclusive stay) and the food there was really excellent there. The hotel itself is bright, spacious, clean and modern. The apartment was well equipped and I would not hesitate to go self catering another time. The staff are, as many others have pointed out, extremely helpful and attentive. The pools were all very clean and yes, a little chilly to start with, but why anyone expects them to be heated in such a warm place is beyond me! Suck it up for 2 minutes when you first get in and it's fine! :) My partner used the break as a triathlon training base so the lane swimming (20m lanes) was great, and the staff had no qualms about him keeping his bike in the apartment. The hotel location is great. €25/ 20 minute taxi transfer from the airport. Decent beach close by. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby (5-10 min walk). There is a 'Pluscar' car rental desk at the hotel offering hatchbacks for €30 per day. This was very straightforward - only needed to be booked the day before with passport and drivers license. No hefty deposits or excess insurance. All in all an excellent stay, esp for the money. Would not hesitate to recommend or return!
Great 3* Hotel which exceeded expectations
Well-managed hotel. Rooms and communal areas clean and tidy. Staff all friendly and helpful. Two-bedroom ground floor apartment with balcony was spacious and modern. Kitchen area well equipped with fridge. Shower (over bath) in need of upgrading. Powerful wall mounted hairdryer in bathroom. Towels are provided free of charge (changed regularly). No pool towels. Food is standard all-inclusive – nothing exceptional and even the fussiest of eaters should be able to find something to eat. Two main restaurants but they serve the same food. Can get busy and warm at times. There are no outside seating areas off the main restaurants (only off the pool side bar / snack bar). Everything is self-service incl. drinks and cutlery –can be hard work with children as you are constantly up and down. Choice of a quiet pool area and a livelier pool area, mainly occupied by families, music and activities all day. Inflatables allowed and there is a variety of pool depths. The pools are also lifeguarded. Animation team were brilliant – both fun and energetic. Evening entertainment was varied. Kids mini disco starts at 8.30pm which is great for those parents who don’t want to eat ridiculously early. Kids Club –some activities only available to Thomson clients. Crazy golf, outdoor play area, football and tennis courts all free to use. In-room safes are chargeable. Overall good value hotel and would recommend.
Lovely friendly, safe complex. On site dining facilities fantastic. Bathroom in our apartment in need of an upgrade but the rest of the facilities were top class.
Very family orientated even down to counter in restaurant for child access to self serve food and plenty of high chairs for babies. Always something available to eat even if not highest quality (sometimes bit tasteless)
Ok.
nice hotel food poor
lovely town. beaches nearby. good entertainment. weather great. the real only problem we had was that the food in hotel was always cold. good choices but cold
Great resort for families
My hubby and I and our 2 sons (10 & 12) had a lovely relaxing 8 night stay at Los Zocos. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and a slight problem with our booking was resolved promptly and efficiently (we had booked a 2 bed apartment but there wasn't one available for the first two nights; we were compensated with free wi fi, free access to the safe and free Disney channel for the kids). This did not spoil our stay in any way, the quiet pool area was the nicest by far (away from the noise and bustle of activities, music and entertainment of the other pool area). Short walk to a couple of sandy beaches. Food very varied and plentiful.
Good central position and close to the beach
We would have given the hotel top marks, if it was not for the loud pop music by the pool, from which you could not escape, even in apartment you could hear it. Also one should be warned that there would be many young children, which screamed a lot. The staff were friendly and very helpful, apartment very nice and well equipped.
Smashing Holiday
Staff very helpfull, knowladgable & English Spanish German no problem. Resort & rooms constanmtley being cleaned. Note the resort is closed 2016 Feb to April for refurb, which probabley means air con. We tend to holiday in the Winter so even 25-28oC & 18-20oC at night dont need A/C. Summer might. Great location & excellent bars & resturants. I have not stayed all inclusive, but fellow travelers praised the food & drink. I recomend the Los Zocos to couples or families as the site accomodates for both. Thank you Edmund Goode stayed Nov 16 / 22nd 2016 I will be back
Great Hotel close to all ameneties
An overall great holiday from flights, transfers to hotel booking. Reception staff helpful and friendly. Room was good, fan only in room which was on all night. Had breakfast only option as plenty of excellent restaurant nearby, Free Wi fi area was good but signal not too strong. We tried local bus to Sunday market and that was good, arrived and left on time. The hotel advised and semi booked our trip to Volcanoes and that went well. Lots of small shops within walking distance, We did not realise we needed our own pool towels so bought cheap 5 Euro ones each from one of many nearby shops. The location is right near a good beach, Need to pay to use safe and tv and wi fi in rooms which we did not use. As local supermarket is right next door to hotel just made our own lunch each day as enough self catering items in unit. Had a great time and will be back again soon. Can recommend due to closeness of beach and shops, restaurants etc. Staff willing to help with anything you need as well.
nice hotel, great staff very helpful ................................................................................................................................................................
Impressed
Apart from the room not being ready (which didn't matter as it was lunch time) i cannot fault anything. Everyone was really friendly, the room was clean, the food was good and plenty of room and sunbeds around the pool. The only problem I had was nearthe end of the holiday I was informed that I had only paid for a child and my son was over 12. This is more a problem with Expedia as his age had to be entered on the booking. Also when we checked in, we told the receptionist his age before being issued with a wristband. Luckily the hotel did not pursue this request
Excellent hotel would highly recommend
Stayed at the hotel the week beginning the 22nd may 2015 half term week for most children.Although we were told the hotel was full there was plenty of sun beds round the various pools so that meant you didn't have to get up to secure a sun bed.Fantastic childrens entertainment all through the day and disco at night. As we don't have young children we went out in an evening hotel was brilliant location for lovely beach front bars.Take me back
Loved it!!!!
Lovely Large resort. Plenty to do. I have 2 boys. 9 and 8. They were kept busy. Beach is only less than 5 mins away. Staff were all brilliant especially the entertainers throughout the day and night who made great effort with everyone. Especially a guy called Alex. A Very cool nice guy. My son's and partner thought so too. We ate out most nights as we liked trying different places. We WILL be most definitely going back there. We are already looking at prices Etc. There is a lovely guy in the shopping centre a cross the road doing tours etc. We went through him a few times. I recommend the volcanic tour, AMAZING!!!
Winter break at Los Zocos
Good Hotel, very clean, excelent staff. Self catering. Very secure & pleasing hotel. Highley recomended. All rooms have balconeys. Good views internal over pools. Sun shines all afternoon on big arch blocks (two blocks) 90o degree block falls into shade after 15:00.
Zocos good value for money !
Nice stay at Zocos once again must say it is one of my favourite hotels on the island and have been many times which speaks volumes , Good Value and always clean , will be back again soon
Excellent cheap holiday.
Our room was in a quiet sunny spot. Room was basic but fine for our requirements, the fridge was very welcome. Staff very friendly. Excellent location restaurants and beach. As a couple who have had children we could see that it would be ideal for small families.
Nice family resort
Have to say Great for kids lots of things to do . Staff friendly room good. Free wifi in all areas would be ideal . Great location close to beach . 2 pools Would stay again even though we dont have kids
Not for adults!
Big complex, very clean, spacious room had everything we needed, cleaned daily, very happy with the room. we had a kettle, hob, fridge/freezer and toaster. the balcony was big and had table and chairs. free tennis and mini golf was available. and beach volleyball. 5 min walk to the main beach but if you want better beaches get the bus to Peurto del carmen. reception staff very helpful with directions and left luggage etc, but seemed stressed. CONS - full of kids. dont stay here if you are an adult party looking to just relax. the 'adult' pool was full of kids too and there was no restriction on this. There were two main pool areas and they should have made one 16 . there was music blasting out of the pool bar anyway so couldnt relax. The ' no reserving sun bed ' rule was completely ignored, every single day most of the sun beds were empty but had towels on them so made it impossible to sit by the pool if you hadnt raced down at 10am to reserve one. Also the pool shut at 8pm which was a big shame for anyone who wanted a night swim. the pool water was also dirty.
Good location
Nice, clean hotel/resort. Staff helpful and friendly. Felt safe, The room was for 4 people 2 of the sleeping areas being the couch which didn't bother the kids. we were on 1st floor and had a view overlooking the sea although many rooms face the pool. We did not stay all inclusive as only there 3 days so had meals out locally at resultants so cannot say if food is ok or not
fantastic service
this is our 2nd time as a family going to los zocos. it is a fantastic place for kids with lots to do in the day time with the hotel reps from football games tennis pool spanish lessons water polo etc. GREAT PLACE AND WILL BE GOING BACK AGAIN IN THE FUTURE
Excellent Holiday
What an excellent holiday, had a great time, I've come home feeling completely revived and refreshed. The Zocos hotel was brilliant, we went all inclusive so I had no cooking to do. Everyone at the hotel seemed to have the wrist band for all inclusive. It is definitely worth going all inclusive as it gives great value for money. There was an abundance of food at all times. I love salads and the variety of salads were excellent with fresh rolls and fruit. My husband is more a meat and potato man and out of the 7 nights there was two nights he wasn't keen what was on offer for evening meals but overall he enjoyed the food. The kids had a great time, the animations team was excellent and the evening entertainment was brilliant in particular the horror show. I would definitely recommend and will be returning again. It's a really child friendly hotel and the staff are so helpful. The hotel itself is well maintained and spotless can't fault it in anyway.
Hotel in good location.
A little disappointed in this hotel. We booked for all inclusive but the food was extremely substandard. The food was cold and served on side plates and very poor quality so therefore we had to eat out for every meal. The pool bar was chaotic and cleanliness appalling. The disco lounge was rowdy and you had to queue for drinks. The complex itself is clean and well kept and it is in a good location near to excellent bars and shops. The reception staff were a little 'short' on arrival, it wasn't a welcome greeting!
Good hotel
Good hotel, lots to do with 2 big swimming pools. Room was good size and nice to have kitchen area. Good shower too. Buffet breakfast was very extensive with plenty of choice and variety. We were B&B so ate out most evenings and lots of good restaurants nearby. Hotel also close to beautiful beach. Very relaxed and family friendly.
only thing i would say was choice of food for evening meal was a bit limited compared to 2009 the last time i stayed at this hotel.
Reasonable hotel in good location
There's good and bad about Los Zocos. The location is very good just a short walk from all amenities, shops restaurants, bars and beach. The rooms are spacious and pretty well equipped in terms of kitchen utensils, cooker, microwave, fridge and nice sizeable balcony but we felt it was in needed a good clean and modernisation. There was a strong damp smell in the bathroom and mould apparent in and around the skylight and shower screen though the shower was actually very good, hot and powerfull. The telly was out of the eighties and tied precariously to a wall bracket with some webbed strapping. There was no remote control and we feared it was likely to fall off the bracket every time we pressed buttons on it to change channels. Channels themselves were hit and miss and poor picture quality even though you haqve to pay 3 euros for the first day and 2.5 euros every other day to get satellite. you also have to pay the same amount for use of the safe and about 10 euro per week for wifi which these days I think is a bit shoddy. We stayed B&B and breakfast was good but can't comment on other meals, drinks etc as we ate and drank outside the resort. For the money and for a week I thought it was decent enough but plenty of room for improvement at this resort.
Four adults and two grandkids (6&2) in two rooms.
Great stay, very clean and both rooms were kept that way. Just off the beach and near shopping so that was good with plenty of cheap cafe's round the corner.
Very nice hotel very clean
Had a great 3weeks staff great only problem no lift to rooms Rooms could do with sweeping brush, Hope to go back in a few weeks time.
seeing the north
Good place to see the north of the island. The kitchen was nice but not the kitchen supplies. No coffee machine. Nice staff .
Brief Break with friends and family
Excellent hotel/complex. Switched to all inclusive having heard good reports about the food, and they were correct - it was really good. I'll definitely stay there again.
Good value for money
The hotel was good value. We went purely self catering,so can't comment on the restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable, although it could have done with a few more cooking utensils. In some ways the room was a little tired but nothing to really worry about. The whole complex is kept well maintained. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the quieter side.On the other side there was music playing which might have been annoying if the balcony faced that way. The hotel is very convenient for the beach, town and buses. It's good to have the option to take a bus into Arrecife,Puerte del Carmen and other places .There's a supermarket next door and opposite, and if you are self catering you might need to visit the large Spar shop to buy fresh meat. The reception staff were very helpful and dealt immediately with any problems. You had to pay 17.5 Euros for TV ,which we didn't bother with and 20 euros for Wi Fi connection. The internet connection was not brilliant at times.
Excellent value for money
Been to Los zocos a number of times for a week mainly in November but thought we would give it a try in January , as always rooms clean , plenty of space and good value for money , we stayed on room 2307 same as last year so we new the location of the room on the complex which got the sun from about 11.00 am til 6.30pm just perfect
Value for money
Good value for money - booked direct via internet. Bed was a little too firm for me but otherwise, room was good. Large hotel spread over a wide area with most rooms it seemed facing inwards towards pools so no road noise or other disturbances at night. Late check out at 12pm was good but 3 disturbances before then by cleaners and management which I took to be a scramble to collect tips rather than a need to get the room cleaned. (Not peak season). Reception staff pleasant and helpful.
Good budget apartment for out of season
We spent 1 week here in mid November 2013. The apartment was perfect for what we needed - a place to chill out and crash at the end of the day, with the option to cook a few basic meals when necessary. It was perfectly tidy and very spacious for 2 people. The resort was not the kind of place that we would want to go during high season - lots of Irish Pubs serving roast dinners and full English breakfasts. That said, there were also some lovely restaurants serving authentic food which stood out.
Nice apartment Costa Teguise is such great value
We had a nice apartment although it was North facing so didn't get any winter sun. It was a pity because the complex wasn't busy and I am sure we could have been given a better aspect apartment. On arrival they asked for confirmation of booking (a piece of paper), I had the cracking Expedia Ap on my IPhone so hadn't thought there was a need to have a paper copy. As it happened there probably wasn't , previous forms were piled in a 12 inch high tower, so it must have been for meaningless bureaucratic reasons. Notwithstanding that the staff were fine. The Expedia transfers were superb, waiting at the airport and then arriving 5 minutes early for the take back. We didn't eat at Zocos, no need, the local Chinese restaurant, over the road, was fabulous and all our meals in town were great value and good quality.
I foubd this to be in a very good location.
Rhis is my return visit to los zocas after 20 years I enjoyed it then & have doon so again I wwould go back again as well with no worries.
Relaxing stay at Los Zocos
1 week self catering-2 adults. Nice hotel.Juan Carlos at reception very helpful. We had an item missing(shelf for the oven) and a broken corkscrew,so these things are not checked before you arrive. However, both were put right within 15 minutes-Good service.
Ideal base for time in sun
Hotel located in easy reach of beach, bars, shops & restaurants- clean hotel, basic facilities could do with some upgrading such as new towels, pillows, bedding etc - although what is provided is clean. Plenty pools, space at pools & loads of beds available during our stay, although as we were leaving on 18 October, influx of children arriving could change atmosphere of being chill out hotel to one like a playground
Excellent location
We stayed at the hotel on a self catering basis so cannot comment on the food. Overall the hotel was very good for the price we paid. The location is excellent with bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. Would definitely stay here again
Not Great !!!
The standard of the rooms was very basic - suitable for very young families or perhaps young couples. It is definately not suitable for older people. It was noisy both during the day and sometimes at night. The household staff were very friendly and helpful One had to be out very early to book a sunbed and one with any shade was almost impossible to be had.
Good hotel with very good size pools
Hotel only 3-5 mins walk to beach - 5-7 mins walk to main resort area ful of restaurant although have local bar 1mins walk - room could do with updating decor wise esp TV! - balcony good size very wide. Bed is comfy with ceiling fan. We stayed in room 2313 good view to poolside with afternoon sun facing the balcony.
Nice Resort for families
Its a very nice resort, especially for families. Quite location; friendly staff; two pools; fun facilities; parking area very close; shops, restaurants and beach very close;
Hotel Made Our Holiday
Well the overall trip was lovely, it was me and a friend getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The rooms were clean and tidy. The hotel was much better than expected and the staff was really friendly and extremely helpful even asking the same question several times. I would like to give recognition to Juan Carols behind the front desk who spent most of Tuesday Morning calling the airport to help us get our delayed luggage.
Los zocos
Rooms were not cleaned properly, staff at reception very adversarial and unhelpful. Food was mediocre.
Lovely family, clean hotel
Really lovely well kept hotel. Very good location, close to shops & beach. Really good kids club. Staff friendly & helpful. Food nice, but sometimes felt a bit the same. Overall had a great family holiday.
Would go back!
Great hotel, helpful staff. Lots to do - had a really good time. Only criticism is that the maid came twice around the time everyone is getting showered and ready to go out of the evening so telling her not to worry would result in no clean towels.
Loz zOCOS
the hotel was nice to stay in, it was more family orientated with entertainment for young children, the facility for eating and dringing wasn't very good, the food in the restuarant wasn't very appetising and the choice of beer was nil as they only served 1 type of beer. i would recommend it to familys with young children but i dont think i would stay in it again.
Fantastic Hotel
This was our fourth stay here, it's very clean and tidy and well laid out.
great family hotel
hotel sits at the quiet end of town , its very family oriented. its has a mini club for ages 4-8, . junior club 8-15 and adult entertainment. all the clubs are thoughout the day and there is some thing differant every day. the animation team are amazing and work very hard to keep everyone entertained. the staff are very friendly and will go out thier way to help you. the complex is kept very clean and the rooms are cleaned 5 days out of 7. food was sometimes a little cold depending on what time you went to eat . i would gladly go back to los zocos .
nice hotel.
Good for winter break
Hotel is in good condition, rooms are spacious, clean and comfy. There is no air conditioning, but that is not necessary during winter months. Kitchen is well equipped. Only down point is the pools were freezing cold in March, nobody was swimming (this is little weird as temperature is 20+ all the time day and night). Location is great, plenty of local restaurants and shops around. Make sure not to use mini supermarkets next to hotel but walk to bigger ones as these are a lot cheaper. Lanzarote is great for sightseeing, rent a car (best from local companies - works out cheaper than pre-booked from comparison websites overall) and you won't regret. It takes just few hours to drive across whole island and there is plenty to see.
good central location
A very enjoyable stay.Lots to do if you stay on the hotel complex, activities for children and adults on all inclusive,we were only bed and breakfast as like to go exploring and not tied to the one place.excellent breakfast selection.weather was not too hot so didnt use the swimming pools, very cold water!!although I was expecting1of the pools to be heated as I had read on the description, did not seem to be1.Night time entertainment adequate, again mainly for all inclusive guests who had drinks included, we only went1night for our son to see mini disco.but entertainment team were very good and was something to see every night.overall a good place to stay, lots to do,easy walking distance to centre of resort, and Costa Teguise easy to get out and visit other places on the island. My only negatives was the cleanliness in our room, floors quite dusty even after the cleaners been, dirt and dust under the beds and sofa, shelves in kitchen dusty, the dirt seemed to be spread about rather than cleaned up!! But,the towels were changed every day if needed, cleaning 5 days a week. The pillows were lumpy or very flat.Towels small and thin.No cloths or tea towels in kitchen area for those of us that were doing a bit of cooking rather than eating out all the time.A decent amount of things in kitchen, but not enough to prepare a proper meal.Obviously most people that stay here are on all inclusive so dont need it.Staff very pleasant and generally a good family hotel. We would recommend Los Zocos.
would come back
great location, 5 min to walk to the beach happy with everithing
Los Zocos Apartments.
3rd stay in Los Zocos for us. Clean, well kept apartments. Efficient, friendly staff. Central location.
First experience of all inclusive.
Rooms require upgrading, outside grounds and pool great. Food average, wine poor. Pool bar probably the best covering all aspects to entertain children. Hotel requires better entertainment for adults. Would be better if children had an hour of entertainment then adult time!! Aqua marina requires to be revamped and to look less like butlins!!! Regarding all inclusive experience, would not recommend, too much like the school dinner regime!!
Same as any other 3 star all inclusive i have ever stayed in, no better no worse. Food ok, pools ok, short walk to beach, staff grumpy, what do you expect for the price.
Family holiday @ Los Zocos
Los Zocos was good value for money. The kids club and mini disco kept the kids entertained. The facilities were good and location ok. Rooms were decent sizes and kept clean. Beach a few munites walk away. Restaurants and shops nearby. Recommend hiring a car to drive around the island for a few days.
3 star hotel
The hotel is great for children .. It is 3 star so don't expect more ... Overall it's good ... All inclusive drinks good , breakfast good , lunch just ok , evening meal poor ....
Wouldn't go back...
When booking this hotel I had read mixed reviews but decided to give it a go. As a couple looking for a quite relaxed holiday I emailed beforehand and requested a room away from all the families and pool areas if possible. Although I didn't get a reply we were put in a part of the hotel well away from all the noise, which was great. We went self catering as we could think of nothing worse than having 8 days stuck eating the same thing, so the room we got with a little kitchen was great. It was very clean but the bedroom light didn't work and the toilet seat wasn't attached. On our first day round the pool we decided we fancied a drink. We went to the bar and were told we couldn't have one unless we were all inclusive!! So for the rest of the holiday we only slept at the hotel and enjoyed the delights of the local bars and restaurants. In the end it's the hotel that has lost out on customers, which seems rediculus to me! Of course we were told that we could upgrade to all inclusive at any time!
Its ok if you like an All inclusive experience
We went to this hotel as room only and the location and the standard is great. The real let down was the all inclusive environment. The hotel was busy and found everyone was in large groups or had 'their' space around the pool...if your towel was not on a bed by 8am then you had no chance of getting one...the day we did manage to get beds, we placed them by the childrens pool under the shade and went for breakfast out of the resort, on our return the beds had been moved to the back.....people seemed to find it easy to walk to the bar by the pool but found it hard to walk to put the empty plastic cup in the bin...if your self catering and just looking purely for a bed to sleep in then I can recommend.......

A bit on a quiet side of Costa Teguise as we learned during Volcano trip, good location for the beach and some restaurants, beutiful snorkelling, white sand bay and beach (Saint Jabillo) just 15 -20 minutes walk from the hotel (try fish feet spa just by this beach - 9.50 Euro for 15 minutes - worth it). Hotel situated almost between two big beaches, Las Charcos (sunbathing only, lots of stones in the water) and las Cucharas (sandy beach and water entry, windsurfing and kayaks available for rental). Two big pools and clean surrounding of the hotel. Great areas for kids! Ask for renovated room when checking in as the non refurbished look like from 70'. Separate bedroom and good size kitchen/ living room area. Beds quite uncomfortable even in the refurbished rooms. Good strengh of shower and good size bathroom. Balcony or quite big tarrace with each room. You have to pay 28 Euro for 13 days internet if you have your own laptop (lots cheaper than using computer in the reception, around 6 Euro per hour). You also have to pay for TV - 4 Euro per single day and 3 Euro if more than 1 day purchased - Only 4 or 5 English speaking channels though. Self service laundry available - you have to purchase your own washing powder. Token for laundry - 4 Euro for washing machine and 4 Euro for the dryer. Small supermarkets just next to the hotel. Receptionists mostly grumpy and not smiling, behaving like they doing you a favour while answering the question. Overall good holidays.
wouldn't recommend
We did 2 weeks self-catering for 2 adults and 3 small children in August. The main issue we had is the hotel is geared for All Inclusive guests. This means the food available is low quality and the drinks range available is limited. For example, one kind of White Wine in the bars. However, if it is All Inclusive you are after, then it did seem to be a popular place for such tourists. On the cleanliness side, and this is something a lot of self catering places suffer from, there is NO SWEEPING BRUSH. So it is very hard to keep the place so you can walk comfortably in bare feet. This was made worse by the fact that they only cleaned the room every second day - although it was supposed to be 5 times a week. On the positive side, there was no 6am hogging of poolside loungers. If you can get out of bed by 11am you should be OK, but most will be gone. The pools themselves are spacious and clean. There is a great sand pit (actually a beach volleyball court) for small kids to play in. The location is close enough to the beach - maybe 5 minutes walk tops. And the beach is worth it, with great waves for the body surfers.
I liked the fitness room for its concept2 rowing machine! The food could have been a bit more local, the pools were nice but pretty cold. Fortunately the Atlantic was near and actually warmer than the pools. Other than that it is a nice place, quiet balconies and sufficient facilities in the apartments to prepare tea and snacks. I’d definitely come back!

Giudizio senz'altro positivo. Ottimo posizionamento della struttura. Ottima e varia cucina.
Bella esperienza
Esperienza positiva. Ambiente pulito e tutti i comfort. Forse le piscine potrebbero rimanere piu a lungo. In ogni caso ci siamo trovati molto bene!
Strände sehr nah - Anreise Flughafen auch sehr nah
Alles bestens gelaufen Transfer vom Flughafen ACE dauert lediglich ca. 20min Schöne Strände in lediglich <5min zu Fuß zu erreichen Animationsmannschaft super drauf
Ontbijt was prima.
Warto wypożyczyć autko i pozwiedzać.

Cheap and cheerful
Clean, food is basic and repetitive but not bad. Air conditioning wasn't available when temperatures were reaching 25 degrees during the day which was uncomfortable.
