Learn about life in the campo
This is a great B&B outside Cotacachi in the small town on Tunibamba. Rolando's family was friendly and the food was great. We were served cuy , a national delicacy the first night. If you want to learn and understand more about life in the Sierra, this is the place.
Indigener Bauernhof

Indigenous farm stay: a welcome change of pace
A wonderful indigenous host farm family makes you feel welcome in their home. Guests have their own separate quarters and bath. The farm is small but busy and productive, with cows, food crops, pigs, chickens, guinea pigs, dogs, cats, fruit trees and veggies. The views from above Cotacachi are phenomenal. Volcan Imbabura is on one side of the farm and Volcan Cotacachi on the other.
