We gad a great time. Nicolo was very helpful and hospitable. The property is very close to the train station and so you're walking less than three or four minutes to get there. We had an early flight out of Palermo and so we needed to be as close as possible to the train station to catch that flight. This is not a quiet area. But, none of downtown Palermo is quiet. If you are a light sleeper or if you simply do not like street noise, this will not work for you. I'm just giving you a heads up because it is a very noisy area. This has nothing to do with the property, but the area is lively and busy.

Highly recommended b&b. The hosts are very accomodating and very helpful. The location is in the center; walkable distance to important sights. I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Thank you!

B&B pulito e molto carino, la proprietaria è gentilissima e disponibile. Buona la colazione. Fosse più vicino al centro (che comunque è a circa 10min a piedi) sarebbe proprio perfetto. Ottima struttura, sicuramente consigliata!!!

What a great place. Big beautiful rooms with an old elevator/ lift that made it extra special and unique. The hosts are fantastic and very helpful. Wonderful light breakfast each morning ( great coffee and croissants) which you can eat in your room or in the main area. The bed is very comfortable, bathroom is a good size but the pipes make a pretty loud noise when you use any water. My only complaint is that even with the windows and shutters closed it is still noisy. People on the street yelling late ( after 1 am) in the night.

Fabulous few days in Palermo at the Liberty Palace. Great location to explore the city and close to the station fro arrivals from the airport. Well appointed rooms and wonderful hospitality from the whole team. Highly recommended

The B B is in what was a fancy apartment building in the 1920s convenient to the station, bus lines, and easy walking distance to everything. The owner is an engaging woman who grew up in the UK. It's not at all fancy but comfortable, safe, and an excellent value.

We found the hotel to be exceptional, the room was spacious with a good size wardrobe small breakfast table and well all you needed for a short or longer stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. We also liked the lift which though was somewhat elderly worked perfectly and was interesting to say the least. There is nothing at all that we can find to comment on negatively it’s all positive One last comment it is ideally situated between the main station and the old town.

The area around the property is not clean. In fact, we found Palermo to be a very dirty city with garbage everwhere. It was a huge disappointment. The room itself was neat and clean and the staff couldn't have been nicer. For the price we paid, we believe we received value.

The property is clean, in a walkable location to most historic sites, shopping and restaurants. However, it is very noisy at night. We booked at six locations on our trip this was the only one with no safe in the room. Upon arrival we tried to book the shuttle service to the airport which they claimed to provide, this was 3days prior to our departure, one person said that they no longer provide that service the second said that we had to book it months in advance !! Also, the water pipes rattled whenever any one showered or flushed. Air condition only works with a key in place, first night it did not cool the room, it was fixed for our second night, we tried to leave the key in while leaving the room the house keeping will remove it and we would come back to a hot room on a hot day and wait an hour for the room to cool. The shutters will bang against the windows with every wind blow, we had 3 windy nights. This property has to do some work to qualify for the ratings as advertised.

Great stay

The communication with the hotel was excellent. Nicolo was very helpful with check in and super accommodating. Also very helpful with where to eat and places to visit. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. My husband loved the front door to the building and the floors. The hotel has been renovated in an old building. Lots of charm. Very close to everything you would want to see in Palermo. We were able to walk everywhere. We would stay there again.

Only a 5 minute walk from the station. Adriana was a super host, nothing was too much trouble for her, with plenty of recommendations and local information.

We really enjoyed our time in Palermo and staying here was extremely convenient. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was perfect! Thanks

Hotel with antique lift

Short stay in Palermo hotel texted with codes for lobby reception not maned as we arrived at 10 but key waiting. Everything fine with room good shower bed a little soft for me. Didn’t have breakfast guy at reception friendly. Worth staying at hotel for the antique lift alone Close to railway and bus terminal and via Roma Would recommend again

Adriana the host is amazing! The b and b is in the center of town. The accommodations were ideal and suited my needs perfectly! The entire place was professionally run.

The staff was really wonderful and the place is spacious and adorable. The areas felt a bit unsafe.

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at Liberty Palace. It was very close to the train station and all the main places of interest in Palermo. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, especially the pastries which we were asked to choose in advance the day before. Adry was so kind and welcoming and explained some interesting places to go and how to get there. We would definitely go back to Liberty Palace if we stayed in Palermo again.

Excellent hotel in Palermo

Excellent place, location, service and people. I would like to give 10 stars if I can. We arrive at the airport at midnight, took a last train and walked very short distance to the hotel. It was easy to find the hotel and was safe to walk from the central station. It was easy to check in by ourselves. Airline lost my suitcase but Adriana helped me so much. I got my suitcase back while staying there. Room with high ceiling was very spacious, clean and quiet. We could have our big suitcases in the room without any issues. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruits and bread. We highly recommend this hotel!

We really enjoyed staying at this B&B. The property is very clean and refreshed. It is large and comfortable. The staff were accommodating. The continental breakfast was very good. The property is very close to the train station, very walkable. It is also close to all the sites we wanted to visit. It is to one edge of the area we were visiting. We enjoy walking so we were able to see everything without any transportation. It may not be the case for everyone, it is close to a large street with the major bus line. I strongly recommend this B&B especially at their price.

Liberty Palace is a lovely elegant old building on a side street off Via Roma, the main road to/from the railway station, Palermo Centrale, about a 3 min walk away so very convenient if you’re arriving or leaving by train. Unfortunately Google maps couldn’t find it, then when we eventually did, the elevator was stuck on the 4th floor & we were stuck on the ground in the portone. This, after a long day of flight delays from Greece, at around 11pm, was very frustrating. It would’ve really helped if the host had met us at the door. So be warned, arrive in daylight & look for the small side street Via Milano. Also the aircon only works with a key in a lock on the wall. It would’ve helped to have some kind of information sheet advising of this as on arrival our room was hot & stuffy due to the weather. We sorted it next day but it was a hassle at the time. Otherwise the place is fabulous - clean, very comfortable & spacious, tastefully furnished with a cute balcony & the hosts very hospitable, helpful & friendly. Breakfast pastries & fruit are also nice. Guess we just didn’t get off to a good start, but once settled we really enjoyed it. Palermo is a crazy noisy city so be prepared for that.

Nice classy room in an old palazzo-like building with high ceiling. Conveniently located near the station with good restaurants nearby. 15-20 minutes walk to many sights.

Rooms are clean and quite charming. Had a little bistro table in my room to enjoy breakfast (croissant and cappuccino). Staff are friendly and helpful. It is a bit noisy at night though with street noise. The location is very close to the train station. And very convenient to get to main tourist attractions

An interesting and comfortable set of rooms in an old but well maintained and secure building close to the bus and railway station for easy travel. The host, Stefano, was very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was good.

My overall stay was nice. The staff were lovely, the room was very clean and I enjoyed the original touches such as the tall windows and original tile. I really appreciated the nice thick toilet paper. I know it sounds odd but I travel a lot and most places cheap out on the toilet paper. There was two things that could have made my stay better. One was the mattress it had a a bid dip in the middle so it was very uncomfortable to sleep. The other which is no fault of the property, very loud at night. It is downtown property so I guess it should be expected. Otherwise enjoyed my stay.

The place is outstanding -- high ceilings, everything is spotless, nice fixtures, even two bottles of water in the fridge. You get to choose filling in a freshly baked croissant which is served for breakfast. To top it off -- one morning I also got a piece of pie made by owner from freshly harvested lemons. The location is very close to the central railway station -- this is great, especially if you plan to make day trips from Palermo.

A gem near the Palermo train station!

A gem of a find near the train station (after a dismal start with a problematic hotel)! My high-ceilinged single room was spacious, well-appointed (white desk, discreet lamp and minibar), tastefully decorated and had a balcony. Wifi was free and fast. The Smart TV was a good size, and had Netflix and YouTube! Free toiletries in the bathroom. This is a small family-run BB and Adry was a superb hostess. Breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants and tea or coffee. The BB is accessible by elevator. I had a truly enjoyable time in Palermo thanks in part to a comfortable stay in classic surroundings with a gracious family!

Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen, man kann zu Fuß die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichen. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, das Bett sehr bequem und das Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier wohnen!

I had a wonderful week stay. Adriana and Nicolo were so helpful and I enjoyed talkng to them. This is one of the best places I ever had before. I definitely recommend this place if you will stay in Palermo.
