Weekend break
Lovely hotel and very friendly staff. Definetly 5 stars.
Not a 5 star hotel in my opinion over price for what we paid. The gym is one small room almost like the size of a hotel room. There was some spots and stains on the bed sheets in my kids room. There was a daycare right outside my window so every morning at 7AM it was very loud. Also, the fridge in my room made a humming noise which made it hard to sleep. My room wasn’t cleaned one day I had to call them and ask them to clean it I was disappointed After being exhausted from a long day. No one from the hotel followed up not even an apology. The staff never asked how my stay was even though I was disappointed in the gym and my room and they knew.
Amazing continental breakfast
Nice
Two species of cockroaches ran across breakfast table, they had been hiding under napkin. One was very large (several in length). Hotel hotel staff didn’t seem surprised, just came with a hand held vacuum to suck it up. Doors to dry store and pot washing area open and dirty floors seen. Brown stain on mattress. Family of four in one room for two nights, only supplied with two toilet rolls. None supplied in The morning or at turn down at night.
Unfortunately our room had no heating overnight and no warm water in the room to shower. Freezing marble bathroom and construction all around the hotel
This is a beautiful hotel that has gone over and above to make the guests fell important and welcome , the appearance , and the quality of the material that has been used to build this hotel are the best. Our room on the sixth floor had a partial view of the Eifel Tower , and the room was large and absolutely beautiful. I can not say enough about this place.
Still trying to find the stars, this hotel is no more than 3 stats
The Hotel is really nice, the beds were comfortable and if I were a 1st time traveler to Paris this hotel would have been perfect. We love coming to Paris and we enjoy a more "French" experience. Overall, the hotel was very comfortable and walking distance from The Arc and other shopping. I would recommend.
Great hotel. Beautiful!
We asked and paid for early checking. Not only we did not get it but our room was not available at 4PM. They told us they can provide us with wheelchair but it was broken. Service was not as good as we expected for price we paid.
The hotel pays attention to every detail of your stay with perfection. The hotel is also in a great location.
Great central place to stay in Paris.
Excellent hotel, great breakfast and very friendly
Hot room
We could not sleep the first night at the Hotel since even that it was winter, temperature inside the room was very hot. We complained about and after two hours of complaining they change us room, the excuse was that they didn’t have a technician available but not a well trained stuff either
Beautiful hotel, 10 minute walk from the Ark and 5 minutes walk from champ elyses street! Close to attractions and tourist areas
Friendly staff, lovely room, great location.
Great find!
Great location (a bit out of the craziness, which was wonderful)! A very nice staff. The rooms were comfortable and had everything that we needed. The room service was great. The bar service was incredibly slow. The holiday decor was beautiful. We would definitely return.
All was good
We loved our stay. Breakfast options on point. Wake early to get good seats for breakfast Rooms cleaning staff does an amazing job. Check in staff Fariba exceptional. I will stay here again. Stayed with family of 4.
Great location, staff issues
Cleaning services staff are evidently underpaid and/or undertrained. Most speak neither French nor English and numerous confusions occurred concerning making up rooms, supplying towels, etc. The quite nice bar in the ground floor also solvers from staff issues, here though they are inattentive, arrogant, and insulting. Senior staff seem to be aware of these problems, yet they persist.
Beautiful and well kept. We appreciated the excellent customer.
Great staff, clean safe property.
.
Excellent service, Tom the concierge was great
Family Paris Getaway
Family stay, used the city train to get around, was walking distance to the train. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Has a "high class" atmosphere, the bar serves food as we had to eat within the hotel one night due to excess activities and the food was on good. Not like most of the Paris restaurants we ate at, but acceptable. Prices were lower than most of the Paris restaurants we ate at though.
Very good location.
Room service was great.
It was a beautiful property and the staff was great!
Beautiful property with great staff and beautiful rooms!
Great stay
Beautiful view of Eiffel Tower. The service was beyond our expectations!!
Stayed in this hotel many times. Always a pleasure!
Not a 5 star hotel
Great bar, nice rooms, convenient location
Excellent Hotel with premium rooms.
5 star hotel
Lovely hotel, excellent room & professional staff
Been to many hotels in paris & La Contesse Is On The Top List Of My Best Favourable Hotels...
The AC was broken and required multiple repairs. There was a cockroach in the room.
Amazing concierge services. Made out trip - dinner recommendations, tour bookings etc
Nice
Beautiful hotel
Very nice and clean hotel. Also the staff very friendly. Lovely property!
The only place to stay in Paris!
The hotel was absolutely amazing. From excellent, supportive and very polite staff to location, building, lobby interior and the room we slept in, everything was an 11 out of 10. We would happily stay here again. Highly recommend when in Paris!!!
OK.. property
The pictures online definitely don’t represent the actual rooms.. If you’re looking for a property that has a rooftop view of the city this is not the hotel for you because although their pictures online show a rooftop with a gorgeous view that is deceiving. You must book the suite that has the balcony to the rooftop to have a rooftop view. And that is clearly not specified on their website prior to booking you. Just assume that the rooftop is available for everyone. The rooms are just OK. I’m not sure if it was worth the price.
Love the breakfast variety. Good location.
My recent stay at L'Hotel du Collectionneur Arc de Triomphe in Paris was overall an enjoyable experience. I stayed in the Prestige King Vue Eiffel room, which offered a stunning terrace view of the Eiffel Tower—a definite highlight of my trip. The location of the hotel was perfect for upscale shopping along the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, just a short walk away, which added a lot of convenience to my stay. The hotel itself exudes 1930s Art Deco charm, with a beautifully designed restaurant and courtyard, a lavish lounge/bar, and excellent amenities including a gym and spa. The atmosphere was both elegant and inviting, making it a lovely place to retreat after a day out in the city. However, there were a few disappointments. The bathroom in my room was notably small, which made it a bit uncomfortable and there was visible mold along the shower sweep. Additionally, the bed itself felt quite small for what was supposed to be a king-sized bed (my husband is 6'4"), which affected the overall comfort of our stay. On the bright side, the staff were pleasant and very helpful throughout my visit, providing excellent service that made a difference in my experience. In summary, while the hotel has a lot to offer in terms of location and style, there are a few areas where it could improve to truly meet five-star standards. It’s a solid choice for those who appreciate Art Deco design and a prime location in Paris, but be mindful of the room details if you prioritize space and comfort.
Staff wonderful. Beautiful property.
First Class Service.
Very nice hotel facility exactly what I expected
Things did not work we’ll shower we fixed ac did not function well room very hot.
The property is old and unkept. Our room was dirty and with poor lighting. It is very overrated for what it is. An old French hotel.
Property was close to shopping and dinning. Very clean
Excellent hotel, will definitely return!
Horrible hospitality
Rude hotel staff, if your nationality is anything but French they will treat you poorly, arrived early paid for early check in and they still made me wait 5 hours for my basic room and kept telling me the room wasn’t ready even after 4pm check in time still wasn’t ready I didn’t see how it could take 5 hours to clean a 300 square foot room, finally went to another employee to see what else I could get done and of course someone else said they could accommodate me in another room that was ready, same room type and all. Female employees at this hotel will treat a female customer with rudeness, don’t stay here don’t waste your time or money
Not 5 Star Experience
Would not consider this a 5 star experience. A lot of the little details were missing. We also had to move rooms half way through our trip due to a water issue- which we now realized the musty smell in our room was probably due to mold. No one should be staying in that room.
It was a good hotel
Great stay.
Great experience! Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was extremely clean. My only real issue is that there weren't any hooks in the bathroom so there wasn't anywhere to hang your towels and while they made you aware of their effort to be eco conscience it was difficult where there was nowhere to hand the towels. Otherwise everything was fabulous.
Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff and amazing amenities. Close to metro and bus services to get around Paris. Lots of options for dining within the hotel and close by.
For a 5 star hotel, it was very noisy in the lobby, police blocking the entire street and difficult to get food delivered. Ordered champagne for the room and it arrived 3 days later after going to the front desk.
This is the most disappointing 5 star hotel I have ever stayed in. I don't know how this hotel was rated as a 5 star hotel. What surprised me the most, disappointed me, and infuriated me was actually when I went to the bathroom at night, there were two huge cockroaches sprawled on the toilet, and I'm not exaggerating in any way, close to the size of the palm of my hand. So I would like to ask how the hotel is sanitized and disinfected? This is a huge hygiene hazard for customers! I myself am very sensitive to bacteria as well as viruses, and the cockroaches were even likely to have crawled through the cups we used to brush our teeth and drink water. I can't believe this is a 5-star hotel with great reviews! For service wise, there was nothing very amazing about it. The concierge, front desk, and room service were all what a 5 star hotel should be. So I don't think there is anything commendable in terms of service On top of that, the amenities in the hotel room were poorly maintained, the plumbing on the side of the toilet was exposed and you could even see the siding! I seriously doubt that cockroaches are following these pipe cracks into my restroom. The bathroom was poorly designed, the rosette head was old as well as not being able to easily adjust the direction, there was very little water flow, and the bathtub was stained and cracked. I think taller people would have a tough time taking a shower.
Wonderful stay! Loved everything about this
Amazing hotel! Concierge was so helpful! Will definitely be staying here again!
Great Location and Staff
Only thing that I did not like was the showerhead. You could not tighten it to take a proper shower and the tube was sticking out. If you like hot showers, you couldn't as the handle was too hot to hold.
Excellent property, friendly staff, close proximity to top attractions and shopping. Ticks all the boxes
Excellent experience I would definitely stay here again
Love the place , staff very friendly and location was very good
I am very upset with this hôtel terrible customer service Hôtel very old Agent in the desk service very rude I don’t recommend this hotel
Parisian hitel
What a fantastic hotel. The amenities, the rooms, and the service are all exceptional. It is located in an ideal location in the city.
Is a beautiful hotel in a quiet street. Staff very helpful. Concierge lady not so much. Either she didn’t know or didn’t wanted to speak with us. First two days maid service was excellent; after that very careless. Had to ask the front desk to get their attention and still… Other than that the hotel is great!
Outstanding! The best hotel in Paris
Good
Everything was excellent good location
The property was very comfortable and easy access to neighboring areas.
The hotel and service is excellent!!
Advertised with views of the Eiffel Tower however only a few rooms offer this view
Just wonderful, our go to Parisian Hotel
The hotel is outstanding, the location is perfect for walking to all the major attractions, minutes to the Arc de Triomphe & Champs Elysee The area is beautiful & you feel very safe walking around even late at night. The breakfast is superb for a long day sightseeing & then drinks in the elegant bar to relax.
Al around good Hotel, but nothing extraordinary
Great hotel. Stayed there with my family and they loved it.
The front desk gave us an early check in, that was awesome. I really appreciated that.
Terrible service and noisy room.
Excellent property but the breakfast staff were very not flexible with timing (they close exactly at 10) with people waiting at the door.
My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. From the first day, I encountered several issues, including the lack of basic bathroom amenities such as shampoo, soap, and conditioner. Additionally, the phone in the room was not working, and the air conditioning was malfunctioning. Despite requesting compensation from the management, I only received a bottle of water in the room, with no further action taken to address the problems. Even after expressing my dissatisfaction and requesting a complimentary day's stay, the management did not agree to my request. In summary, my stay at this hotel was frustrating and disappointing. For these reasons, I rate it one star and would not recommend this place to other travelers. I do not plan to return in the future.
Amazing experience
Fantastic property
Five stars
Location is great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean place
This location was great. Hotel treated me well and attended to my needs.
An exceptional hotel, very nice staff, nice rooms, beautiful decor
Staff are welcoming, room was enough for four with a view of the tour eiffel. 10 min walk to the champs elysees , location was really good. Hotel is clean.
.
Helpful front desk
The hotel itself is wonderful and the staff was very nice, proper and friendly. The lady that checked us in (Feb 29th @3pm) was lovely and was really trying to help us. It did take very long to check in, we waited about 30 min, and they still could not get us in the room, so we ended up leaving our luggage on the side to go see places and came back in about six hours later to check in and thankfully our room was ready by then. We had an upgrade option but we didn't get the upgrade and as VIP we also had the welcome bottle of wine, which was also not provided. Besides those things the room was just wonderful and I think it's been the best comforter I've ever slept with in my entire life! The hotel itself is in perfect clean condition and is very elegant and the staff is very caring, professional, competent and lively. I also appreciate that they have parking on site which ranges between 30 and €60 per day depending on the form of payment, and the valet people were gentlemen! They also have a bar on site for light snacks, and the place is walkable from other forms of transportation like the subway. I will definitely return to this hotel and I highly recommend it!
The men who handle the luggage are truly the professionals. They are very efficient and courteous. The breakfast is very good too! My toilet had some issues which was an inconvenience at midnight so that was a bummer. The hotel itself is very clean but can always use just a little extra to take it to the next level, We had an issue with a waiter who seemed to not want to do his job. Other than that it was very good. Grade A
My husband and I will recommend that hotel. All the staff are amazing the breakfast is delicious and so much variety. I would book again with them.
good service
We just love it!
There were moths in our bedroom which I was very worried we would take home. Even when I reported this they just apologised. The housekeeping was extremely slow on the two occasions we needed things. We had to call three times each and wait for over an hour to get hot water and towels. The buffet breakfast was lovely. The area is okay. I wouldn’t stay there again.
