Lovely Seville hotel
Very clean. A unique hotel, great room, excellent location. Our hair dryer didn't work and they quickly brought us a replacement. Breakfast was very good. Front desk was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Very nice stay. Very accommodating and caring staff. We got in very late. They waited for us and walked us to our room in the middle of the night. Small shower but workable.
The most remarkable hotel. A series of tunnels, squares and courtyards. Really quirky and very centrally situated. The piano bar was lovely. Rooms were more ordinary but pleasant enough.
Most unique hotel we have ever stayed at. Everything within walking distance. We only stayed two nights in Seville but wish we had booked longer, so we could have explored a bit more. So much to see!
Hotel consists of many old homes now connected by courtyards and walkways. Very unique.
This place is a very neat and unique experience. The tunnels and courtyards are magical.
This hotel is a portal to another era, whispering tales of a glamorous past. The Spanish Renaissance architecture transports you back in time, while the network of tunnels hint at forgotten secrets. Every detail, from the ornate tilework to the arched doorways, speaks of a rich history. A stay here is not just a vacation, but an immersive experience. The breathtaking beauty of this hotel will linger long after you've checked out. The breakfast is worth the try. Service is amazing from the staff. Highly recommended. Close to all the shops and restaurants. 10 - 15 walk. Close to train station.
Great location with easy walk to cathedral and historic district. Charming and well kept collection of historic houses grouped in to a hotel. Service was excellent and the piano bar is a great place to end your day. Be prepared for some stairs as you can not roll your luggage in to a lot of the rooms.I would definitely go back there.
Loved our stay in this unique place - everyone was helpful and warm, the rooms and bathrooms were very large and comfortable and Everton functioned as it should
Very quaint, lovely staff and in a great location.
Coming into hotel is like stepping back in time. The rooms are located through a walkway of ancient relic. You can get lost trying to navigate your way from the reception to the room. Better signs and lighting would be helpful. The experience imitates Ancient Roman moorish times. The customer service was impeccable. Rooms were clean.
Staff were extremely helpful and the hotel was full of character reminiscent of its historical era.
Great location
This was my 4th stay here, I do like it but some rooms are nicer than others and a long walk from the reception area,
Wonderful hotel. Beautiful tile work in the lobby. Spacious room with many windows. Very walkable with many restaurants. Nice to hear the church bells ringing from our room.
Challenging historical hotel with modern amenities
Historical hotel with good maintenance over the years. Quite clean and everything works well. Getting around the hotel was a challenge and was quite confusing. Got lost a few times
Very unique hotel with lots of lovely rooms and the hotel staff very accommodating
This is the most fun hotel I have ever stayed in. The physical beauty is phenomenal. The pool too was excellent. This was our favorite hotel from any of our trips
Very nice
Truly one of a kind complex of 27 houses all connected thru breezeways and passageways to create this amazing hotel. Great breakfast Buffett! They handle your luggage and park your car with ease.
This hotel is a true treasure. The winding paths and hidden nooks and crannies give you plenty to explore during your stay. The courtyards are beautiful and the third floor pool is an absolute dream with its many different relaxation areas. Oh, and did I mention the piano bar? This place is not to be missed and it places you at the heart of one of the most beautiful spots in the city.
Awesome property. Great location. Friendly staff.
A great hotel near parking and the historic sites.
A fantastic place to stay. It was even fun getting lost in the maze of tunnels
A beautiful maze,
It was so attractive with courtyard gardens. The breakfast was fabulous The rooftop pool was a bonus in the heat
A charming an historic hotel created from 27 buildings linked by paths and patios. The location is wonderful; about 10 minutes stroll through the delightful Santa Cruz district to the historic heart of the city. The hotel is closed to many quality bars and restaurants. Our room was quirky yet comfortable and well maintained. Hotel facilities include a rooftop pool and bar and a beautiful indoor piano bar. I highly recommend this hotel
We really enjoy the stay. We were driving to the hotel. To get by your car to the hotel's front door is little challenging. I would follow the street signs that indicates the hotel's directions vs. your phone directions. Parking while you check in may be challenging. The hotel is unique but we find it fits the vibe for the city. It has that old charm with different garden walkways through the hotel. Each time you have to think how to get to the room. Great location! Great check in service. Special Thanks to their Bellmen Pedro! He was the best bellmen I have had while traveling.
Best place I’ve ever stayed!
Beautiful, quirky, interesting and fun. The only thing I didn’t like was that there were no hooks in the bathroom to hang anything, and the lightning wasn’t great.
Very good sized room. Comfortable. Great shower. Enjoyed the swimming pool
We stayed in room no. 19 on the ground floor (due to my mobility issues). It was very good, clean etc, my only gripe would be the bathroom was a little short on space! However, this is a beautiful centuries old hotel and they can only use the space accordingly.
This property consists in many different houses connected thru a tunnel and corridors. It was very complicated going from the reception to our room: 3 different elevators and a complex walk. In fact the only way we found our way back was by using streets outside the hotel and even that was complicated. The only signage for our room led to nowhere and so did the exit signs ( a major fire hazard. Also it was impossible to open the fridge in our room. Staff came to check it out and established they needed to send someone to fix it but nobody ever came. Finally the front desk guy while friendly was not very subtle as he explained very loud to me that because I reserved a BASIC (O) room i.e. the first one for this hotel showing up on my travel software it is very far. On the side storing and getting back luggage was very friendly and efficient. In contrast Hotel Casa 1800 in Granada was very nice and I will comment.
This place is amazing. The history of the property is fun, trying to find our rooms in the maze or 'roads, paths' was a fun experience. My kids said that this is the best hotel they have ever stayed in.
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights, the place was magical and exceptional. Well preserved 16th century buildings, clean, beautiful gardens, amazing staff especially José. Nice pool on the roof with bar and cozy sunbathing areas. Great location close to all main attractions. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and we recommended to everyone who likes a nice experience.
Great location and historical property!
This is a beautiful authentic property . However there are not many facilities in the room and due to going in August with the heat it was full of ants ! They were all over the room including in the beds . The staff sent in help and it improved somewhat but still bothered us a little . We also had to move rooms as the AC wasn’t working and it was over 49 degrees ! The bar staff are great and Estelle was fabulous but the pool is tiny . It doesn’t open till 12 noon ( not good if you want an early morning swim ) and there is a sign that it only holds 20 people . That is not on the website and we would def not have booked if we knew this . At one point there were so many people in such a small space if felt like people soup ! Not what you are looking for on a holiday
Character in spades - great choice!
I doubt I’ll ever stay in a place with more character. Just an amazing site. Every room is unique. The piano bar is also a step back in time. Rooftop pool was refreshing. Opt for the breakfast package and you’ll not be sorry. We arrived by car and the friendly (and professional) staff parked it in an underground garage a few blocks away. Centrally located, you just can’t go wrong with this choice.
Casas de la Juderia is a wonderful collection of old houses organized together as a boutique hotel. The set up is beautiful, and the staff is great. Highly recommended.
Unique hotel. Friendly staff and a great location
Amazing hotel in Sevilla
The best stay in Sevilla. Loved everything about this hotel.
If is charming and different
We loved the whole thing.
We loved this hotel...it has a very quirky layout and character formed of a number of buildings/houses...but is completely lovely. The basement breakfast room is wonderful and as for the rooftop pool and bar..well we ended up there every day of our stay...my only slight criticism would be that there never seemed to be enough sunbeds...but that is a function of the rooftop location and i guess is common to lots of hotel pools. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Would very happily stay here again if we visit Seville again and thoroughly recommend to others.
A gorgeously quirky hotel. Loved it
Quirky, charming and unique. Like a little village within the city.
This is one of the most charming places we've ever stayed. We loved the hotel's unique character, good breakfasts, and rooftop pool. Our only recommendation would be adding more sunbeds at the pool. If you came too late, you couldn't get one. Otherwise, a perfect stay. We would stay again.
Great hotel located where you want to be
Amazing hotel in a perfect spot. Short walk to everything you would want to do in Seville. The rooms are comfortable and the a/c worked really well. The hotel itself is unique and really nice, lots of places to sit and enjoy the setting. The pool was so great, enough places to get a chair to lie on and the pool was big enough. The pool bar was perfect, had a great selection of food and drinks. Just loved our stay, it was our 4th time in Seville but first stay at this hotel and it was the best. Will definitely be back soon.
The location of the hotel was definitely PRIME. Close and within walking distance to everything. This was a very unique style hotel. A lot or architecture and history on the walls and hallways. It was like a maze and you definitely need to keep a map of the hotel with you to find your way around. Very clean and the staff was amazing. The only thing that was a challenge was driving through the small alleys to get to the hotel, definitely not suited for bigger cars, and parking is valet.
Beautiful properties (several buildings joined via tunnels). Staff were extremely nice and accommodating. Very convenient to sites.
This is the favourite hotel I've ever stayed at and I can't wait to return. We stayed in an annex building, and I would recommend that option so you can walk through the beautiful gardens, courtyards and the underground Roman style tunnel. It's a fascinating and beautiful experience. The hotel bar and rooftop pool were fantastic facilities and I could easily spend multiple weeks here, just to stay at this hote.
The property is beautiful and the staff was attentive and helpful. A little awkward to get to by car, but the valet staff helped us.
Absolutely loved this hotel! Beautiful, historical and so interesting to wander around the many houses that make up the hotel. Centrally located within walking distance of all points of interest. Highly recommend one of their suites.
beautiful full of annexes and gardens in a lovely location too. Super friendly staff
Unique hotel with maze of beautiful courtyards and tunnels. Surprisingly spacious rooftop poolarea with bar. Excellent location for main attractions and nearby bars/ restaurants but hotel a quiet oasis of calm. First class staff. Highly recommend.
Charming old hotel. Beautiful internal gardens. Rooms could use an update, especially the beds.
3 days in Seville
A quick trip to Seville with friends. The hotel is fabulous ! Great location, very quirky layout, and good rooms. The pool and pool bar were wonderful and very much needed given the hot temperatures. Lovely people and a great breakfast - will definitely be back !
Fabulous hotel in the city centre
Fabulous hotel with excellent facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel public rooms were stunning. A unique experience not to be missed!
Having rated it as an excellent hotel, I must tell the reader that it’s not a hotel for people with mobility issues. We found the hotel beautiful, the architecture, the art, the decor. And lots of character and ambience. One of the most interesting hotels we’ve ever stayed at.
Interesting hotel. Easy to get lost in labyrinthine corridors but very helpful staff. Rooftop swimming pool a major feature. Good breakfasts.
We were entranced by this unique hotel with its many courtyards & covered walkways turning this way & that connecting the different sections, its lush greenery & blooms, outdoor seating in covered nooks for those who need their smokes, even a fountain...yet the way to the different areas of the hotel was clearly indicated. We loved the beautifully furnished areas - the reception, basement breakfast room, the upstairs piano lounge, & our room! Service was warm & impeccable, & buffet breakfast excellent.
Charming rustic but AC only ok and staff unhelpful
Very charming rustic appeal. Convenient location to sites. Cafes. Walkable. AC was just ok. Staff not helpful with getting taxis or directions. Pool was ok. Not a lot of lounge chairs in the sun but water was nice. Had to take tunnels and lifts to get to pool
Very unique moorish design walking underneath through well decorated tunnels to rooms Pillows could be improved. Staff very nice Breakfast is plentiful and good
Interesting historic
Wow! This property is amazing! So fun to wander around the secret hidden spaces. We loved the Piano Bar floor and the breakfast bar and mirrored dining area was amazing. You will love it!
Interesting property. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful while in some cases, we had to ask for the same things to be handled up to 3 times. Convenient and in a walkable area.Room was noisy as you can hear guests above showering and flushing the toilet. Because the more inexpensive rooms all in the annex, it’s difficult to figure out how to get around the hotel as well as the exits to the streets.
This place is a treasure! It was so Seville! Excellent location for walking to our tour spots, amazing cultural environment, and everyone was so nice!
Fun place
A fun place to explore! Unique rooms and unique courtyards. Breakfasts were good, Staff members were very nice and helpful. The pool patio was nice although not enough space for the number of guests wanting to sun bathe or get together with others. Pool was very nice with easy access but pretty cold. If you have mobility issues I would recommend mentioning that upfront as our room was a bit far with some stairs. Most rooms could be accessed by lifts.
It was a lovely hotel, we did get a little disorientated when trying to find our room. It is well situated and we would use it again
It was living in your own quiet little enclave within the larger 'old city' - a suggestion of what having a house there might be like. Very private and quiet and charming with the patios and fountains and alleyways. Very helpful staff. No bathrobes? But a lovely whirlpool tub to relax in after walking all day.
Accommodation, staff and location first class
No free coffee.
A little faded and well in need of some ipgrading of much of the infrastructure.
Easily the most delightful hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The houses are beautiful and the courtyards even more so. The staff were very friendly and helpful
Unique Hotel Experience
This hotel cannot be missed in Seville. It has an excellent history, a phenomenal set of rooms, with an exceptionally professional and attentive staff who go above and beyond. We have stayed their twice and both experiences were unique and amazing!!
If you are in the area, a stay at this hotel is a must. The hotel is so incredibly unique with it’s tunnels and gorgeous patios around every turn. It is an adventure unto itself. We loved our stay here.
Unique property made up of small houses - excellent rooms, staff and facilities
Great
Loved it.
Fabulous hotel, great location.
I like the history of the place.
This is a beautiful old Spanish building with beautiful architecture. The bedrooms are very comfortable and our bathroom was beautiful. Breakfast had a great range of food. However, we were in the furthest annexe from reception and access was either via the alleys around the hotel or through a tunnel underneath it and neither were well sign posted. It would have life much easier if the signage was improved as one courtyard looked much the same as the next. However, I'd definitely go back to this hotel and it's brilliantly situated to walk to the main attractions
The hotel is amazing. It has so much to see. We had booked 3 rooms and they were all spacious and different and lovely. The tunnel connecting the main building to the annexe is brilliant. The staff were exceptionally friendly and nothing was too much trouble Would definitely recommend it friends and family.
This hotel is close to the historic district and all its shopping and dining attractions. They have valet parking ($24) to their underground lot and then transport your bags for you. The staff is wonderful! There is no on street parking because of the proximity to attractions. The rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. When is Sevilla we would stay there again.
Wonderfully quirky.
Beautiful hotel in the old Jewish quarter. Had a wonderful rooftop terrace with a pool and bar, cool tunnels connecting the “houses”, amazing piano bar on the second floor, area was very central and convenient with many restaurants and bars, close to all the tourist attractions, very nice staff!
Perfect in every way!!
Very friendly staff
This a quirky hotel that was in a great location to walk to all of the tourist monuments. Our room was quite far from the lobby and difficult to find until we got the hang of it. We kept running into other guests who were trying to find their way around. The piano bar was worth the visit and the breakfast was good.
The hotel is full of charm and history but with that don't expect all mod cons. Rooms are spread over a number of connected properties some reached by a subterranean tunnel - a map is presented on arrival so you recognise where your room is located! Our room was a good size, the bed was high off the floor so if short or with personal limitations that might be an issue getting into bed. The staff were helpful. The piano bar was pleasant but prices high as would be expected. Lots of options within a short walk for dining, from bars, tapas through to restaurants. Also, the main attractions (cathedral, Alcazar, etc.) are within easy walking distance. Avoid driving to the hotel if at all possible / unless essential or you are familiar with driving in Sevilla. The roads around the hotel are very narrow in places with lots being one way traffic. If you want a taste of old world Spain, this is a hotel worth considering.
The hotel is a maze of tunnels and courtyards with some rooms only accessible by leaving the hotel and crossing a narrow street. There is no signage - on getting lost twice the reception staff were very rude yet each time I asked for directions i was shown/ told a different route - underground via tunnels of overground round the streets. I didn’t feel safe going back to my room at night especially as the electronic key cards to the gates and room usually didn’t work. Very unhelpful staff.
.
Absolutely amazing hotel. If you're looking for something unique and not a cookie-cutter hotel, then this would be a great choice. I cannot say enough good things about it. Everything was perfect.
Wonderful except for plumbing! Whenever a neighbour flushed a toilet it sounded like a train through our room
Beds were uncomfirtable. The pillows and matresses need to be replaced.
Good but our room was in need of tlc
We’ve stayed here a few years back and thought it was brilliant. Still lots of great things including the pool. However in our room the interior lock didn’t work and the shower fitting did not allow a hand-free shower. As the hotel was full we didn’t highlight these items as we were only there for 2 nights. As this is a 4 star hotel we didn’t feel that anyone had checked this room. PS we did feed this back after our visit so the room could be adjusted.
Unique historical property with multiple interior courtyards and gardens. Exceptional pianist playing in evenings. Great location. Excellent and diverse breakfast.
I have mixed feelings about this property. The hotel itself is beautiful and different. It is a collection of apartments in a village style in an old Jewish community. However, the first room we got was not sound proof. You could hear every sound from the street. The one window in the entire apartment did not have any sound insulation which meant you could hear everything that happened in the street - absolutely terrible - we were unable to sleep as it was festival time and Spaniards party hard. Plus it has a terrible sewage smell. The second room was better but the toilet did not flush well, it had cockroaches, AND WiFi signal did not work most times. Both rooms were pretty but needed much remodeling. The hotel also says it provides parking but it is not true. It provides valet to a public parking. Coordinating with the hotel staff was challenging because it is hard to drive to the hotel via a one way narrow street which makes it hard for other drivers to wait while you try to alert the hotel staff to take your car. You can drive it yourself to the parking lot but it is deceptive to stay that this hotel offers parking. It does not. Staff was mostly nice and kind but some were okay, if not a bit dismissive. They have a hard job but can do better. To me the measure of a hotel is whether I would stay again or recommend. I can’t do either - will never visit again or recommend, even if it was pretty. It was too expensive for what it offered.
This is an amazing historic property, consisting of a main building and some 40 joined adjacent buildings. Our room was probably the most spacious we ever stayed in Europe. Going from the reception desk to our room took 4 and a half minutes, a tunnel, and 3 separate elevators, needed if you have luggage. Bathroom was newly renovated with a jacuzzi. TV had 5 channels, all in Spanish, not even a single news channel in English, but we were not there to watch TV. I’m sure you will enjoy your stay like we did ours!
Staying in this hotel is adventure on it own! It’s a special experience!
Incredible hotel, unique
