The checkout closes at 6.30 pm and they seemed a bit under staffed but we were traveling during holiday period. It was a good stay overall.

This motel was good value for money. Check in was easy, friendly and helpful. It was peaceful and enjoyable to stay here. I was able to park right outside my room which is a bonus. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. It had plenty of amenities that you needed for a great stay. The only suggestion I would make for the room is sheer curtains. I closed the blinds but then had to turn on lights. To save power and have privacy I think sheer curtains would do the trick. The bathroom looked like it had recently been renovated. It was spacious, extremely clean and a great hot shower. The motel has laundry facilities and a large open grassed area for entertainment. If they had the money, I would put a pool in this area :) The area around the motel was peaceful at the time I stayed. I would estimate about 5-10 min walk into the main shops. I would highly recommend this motel if you wanted something simple with home comforts. I will definitely stay here again if the chance arises.

The property manager, Michael, is really funny and friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure you feel at home. Nothing is too much trouble for him. I left an item in the motel room and he made a special trip to the Post office to make sure I got it back. So awesome! Our room was on the lakeside and it was lovely to look out at all the boats. Beautiful fragrant rose bushes everywhere and some awesome Pride of Madeira bushes out the front. Really lovely, we’ll be back!

Nice wee place for a stopover on the way to Melbourne. All we needed was in this older but tidy and clean motel. Front office Staff are just lovely!!!

Good motel.

An older style motel that is clean and comfortable and perfect for our overnight stay. Comfy bed with good linen. We had a tyre issue when we arrived and the manager was very helpful in allowing us to park on his lawn and telling us where the nearest tyre dealer was. He’s a very jovial chap telling jokes all the time! Location is good - lovely walk across the road and walking distance to eateries

The room was clean, but would recommend a better lounge, it was quiet uncomfortable and a bigger TV. Otherwise very clean and tidy.

Overpriced for the accommodation we were given.

Unfortunately, this room was not at all up to the standard I would expect for how VERY expensive it was. I stayed for one night over Easter so new it would be a premium, but for almost 400 for the night it was in terrible condition. The room had a broken blind where they had just put some material on the window outside, there was a hole in the back of the bathroom door where it had slammed on the bench at some point. I would expect a much cheaper price for this quality of accommodation. If we were staying more than one night and not in peak we would have moved hotels.

Good place to stay

I had a wonderful experience with the service provided by Michael. He was extremely helpful and accommodating throughout my stay. The rooms were decent and well-maintained, although I must admit that we had to pay a premium due to the holiday season. Nonetheless, the overall experience was great.

I liked the privacy of having our own court yard. I would have liked more ventilation or fly screen on the door. The leaking shower was an issue. Very comfy bed and had everything we needed.

We were caught in a power, internet and NBN shutdown - total - could not be avoided. But no power all night - so no coffee tea etc. otherwise would have been very good facilities and management most helpful under the circumstances. Would highly recommend, Michael was exceptional.

Clean and convenient, but no views

Clean room, nice location but no views from the room. Rooms are lined up facing each other with a narrow gap in between. One night the noise from other rooms echoed between the rooms and was hard to bear. Family room has the queen bed in the common area, so no privacy, while the two single beds are in a separate room.

A nice place to stay, Well equipped room and handy location, lots of restaurants for choice. The owner Michael is very friendly and helpful for providing information of hotspots of sightseeing around the lakes entrance. We spotted lots of dolphins at the entrance where Michael recommended.

The area was good. The room was ok. What let the stay down was the bed. It had a broken bed base and a very uncomfortable mattress that made you role into the middle if you moved Should be replaced.
