Our room was clean, the shower was hot, the breakfast that was included was good (scrambled eggs, warm bun with cheese, fresh juice and instant coffee), the views while eating breakfast on the room top patio were amazing and it was less than 15 minute walk to the Old Town.
TravellerNos hicieron saber el día que llegamos que tenían construcción en el lugar y que a las 8:00am estarían haciendo mucho ruido. Las alfombras súper sucias el area en general demasiado descuidada la habitación para 4 camas súper reducida al alquilar decía que la propiedad completa estaría a nuestra disponibilidad tuvimos que rentar por 3 noches aparte en otro lugar ya que tampoco contaban con calefacción y aire acondicionado. Salimos un día antes de lo planeado ya que al movernos de habitaciones las zonas estában demasiado frías y sin servicio de internet.
TravellerLa Terraza is one of the best economical hostals in the La Alameda area of Quito. The staff goes the extra mile to assist you in any way, and begins to cook your breakfast the moment they see you in the dining room in the morning. The only drawback to this property is that you must climb UP, UP, and UP 172 stairs from Parque La Alameda to arrive at the hostal, unless you take a taxi. The hot water is very hot, and the beds are super comfortable. Definitely I will be a repeat customer.
