I reccomend

The staff are very kind,the apartment is clean and comfort,very well decorated. The only problem is that i didnt get to enjoy the night due to power shedding. although there was an emergency light which i used i didnt expect it to be like that. For the record i know that power shedding is not the owner fault but rather a natinal problem.

One of the very best in Nelspruit

La Roca Guest House is one of the few very best guesthouses in Nelspruit. Clean, comfortable and beautiful rooms. This place is beautiful on inside and outside also. Good location.

Excellent location. Rooms were immaculate and very clean. The reception staff at check in could have provided more details of where the swimming pool/dining room was located. A breakfast menu would be useful but having said that the staff were very flexible in serving up pretty much what you wanted. Evening meal choices are limited but the quality was reasonable for the price. The hostess was delightful.

Perfect night at La Roca Guest House

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at La Roca Guest House. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with all the amenities one could need. The staff was very sweet, professional and attentive. The perfect finishing touch to our stay was the delicious breakfast (included). Our only regret is we did not have more time to spend at this lovely hotel.

Great place to stay on your way to Kruger

This was a great property; wish we could have stayed longer. The pool, breakfast room and grounds were really nice. Breakfast was first class. Staff was great. The only downside, was wifi was a little weak and lights in bathroom were a little dull. But overall, I would highly recommend.

Very friendly host, breakfast is ok nothing special, in my room the coffee mugs were dirty, probably never washed properly just rinsed with water. There’s a club next door we could hear the music going till 4am.

Beautiful view, unclean, large ants, no WIFI

We stayed in house 11. The view was beautiful, the house was not clean. It also was over run with large ants. There is no air conditioning except in the master bedroom so the rest of the house was pretty warm including the second bedroom. There was no WIFI. Neo was lovely during check in and tried to be helpful but there wasn’t much she could do. The staff is not available in the evenings as stated so you have to call for any assistance. Parking is really tricky especially if you are driving and SUV. We checked out early. The hotel was a disappointment. I can’t understand why the reviews are so positive.

B & B in a garden

We had an overnight stay at La Roca and we would have liked to stay longer : the room was great, clean with a private outside patio, the breakfast was served on an outside terrasse overlooking a beautiful garden. The staff was welcoming and helpful. offering a dinner option would be a suggestion to the hotel.

Amazing place, Great People and a Stunning View

Even before I got to the hotel I received a confirmation email from one of the managers and they proved to be kind as they accommodated all requests that I had. Upon my arrival, check in was fast and getting to the room easy. I was pretty happy as the room had a lot of space and it a nice balcony. The place is fantastic because is so quiet so if you are looking for an escape that would be the perfect place. The breakfast is one of the best experiences as the view complements the food (which is delicious). I regret not having experienced the pool, but it certainly looks stunning as well. I strongly recommend the place, not only because is beautiful itself, but also because they are extremely kind, and do go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable.

A pleasant stay

We stayed two days here and it was wonderful. The staff/owner welcomed us. Room was clean and pretty large. The staff made our breakfast for the safari. Breakfast has many selections. Overall, a great place to spend a few days enjoying the weather and scenery.

This is an outstanding place to stay

We have been traveling around S.Africa, staying in B&Bs, which are usually better than any 4 star hotel and this is a 5 star. The bungalow we stayed in at La Roca was unbelievable. It looked as though it was straight out of a glossy magazine. The breakfast in the lovely dining area next to the pool was brilliant. S.African B&Bs are definitely the way to travel.

Quiet weekend getaway

La Roca Guest House is located in a quiet neighborhood of Nelspruit, with a great panoramic view of the rolling landscape within the city. It's a great place to disconnect and relax, a midst the lodge's beautifully tended gardens and the morning bird songs. The rooms are uniquely designed and decorated, very clean and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and made us feel welcomed and 'at home'. The included breakfasts were truly exceptional, and one of the main reasons we will definitely return!

Beautiful Guest house

We stayed in La Roca guest House 1 night prior to going into Kruger, and 1 night on our way out. The little guest house is beautiful! Each room is decorated uniquely and modernly. I loved all the little details, from the art on the walls to the gorgeous pillows and headboards! I would love them to come decorate my house!The first room we stayed in, Room 1, was a little nicer than the 2nd (room 4 i believe), but both nice. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful as well. And one of the best parts is that included in your stay is a really amazing breakfast on the beautiful patio! Each day they have a different, yummy, breakfast offering (eggs Benedict, salmon and cottage cheese egg scramble). The parking lot is little, but sufficient, its all gated and they have a night guard, we never felt unsafe at all. Definitely recommend staying here, and for a great price, and about 20 minutes from the airport. Free Wifi

Comfortable overnight stay

Arriving 5pm & departing 5am the following day did not really allow us to do justice to the pleasant overnight stay we had at La Roca. We had a very nice personal welcome and shown to our double room. In room safe & WiFi supplemented the drinks fridge and ample sized bath. Unable to partake in breakfast due to early flight departure, we received an excellent packed breakfast to take with us. We missed the obvious delights of the pool and terrace which was perfectly placed for sunset drinks. Would certainly recommend this to others & conveniently place for evening eats.

Comfortable Place, Great View

The stay was reasonable. Rates are very reasonable considering the location. Rooms are comfortable, though a bit dated. View is incredible from portions of the estate. The luxury rooms appear a bit dated. However, the Executive Room and House are very reasonable and nice, with an excellent view.

What a lovely family oriented place.....we had a lovely time and the kids loved every bit of our stay. The rooms are spacious and spotless clean and the breakfast divine......never boring and the daily specials truly special!

Amazing place with wonderful views

This was a great end to our holiday. The place was quiet and peaceful. the rooms were spacious and very clean. It was great to have tea/coffee facilities and get luxury product for the bathroom. The breakfast was very good too. I had a swim in the lovely pool and relaxed around the pool which was beautifully done. Overall a brilliant stay.
