Was decent but had a hard time finding parking spot in that area so I was forced to go somewhere else if u don’t have a car it’s not a problem for the price
Seems like a pretty nice place
Stayed about a year ago n i like it that's why i came back but it was a different experience this time
Property smelled like weed and cigarettes … then the house keeper used our charger to charge her AirPods…. Besides that front office was nice and perfectly near a good subway station
Definitely will re visit
It was impossible to rest as there was a terrible smell of dead rat.
Front desk had an attitude but the other guy was cool & cooperative, room are not up to date shower leaks water all on the floor , the air conditioning is filthy & makes a terrible noise, walls are also filthy & chipped up.. even the toilet had a ash burn never again
There was a couple of cockroaches on the bedding and room floor. One of them bit me that’s how I seen it. The cockroach took a bite out of muhubos eye. The real question… Who sent muhubo here?
Nice place
very expensive hotel, not worth what they charge
Very bad
Thank
If u need a place just to stay for he night then I recommend this spot
Not very clean
The front desk staff were nice and helpful, however the state of the room itself was not very good. There was mold on the curtains of the bathroom, stains on the bed sheets, and also it looked like the floors hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Also a lot of marks on the wall too. Honestly we tried to avoid staying in the room too long. Also they forgot to service our room one night, and we had to ask for clean sheets/towels late at night and change it ourselves.
Not very well kept
The worst hotel I lived in
If you are looking for a more authentic NY experience, this place would be perfect. Not sure if it has anything to do with me being from a rural area but the noise was a bit overwhelming. Phones ringing loudly in the middle of the night and cleaning ladies working late with little to no regard for sleeping guests.
It was honestly a nice little stay, they could however do some very small simple things to improve the rooms. A good deep cleaning, replacing missing or damaged outlet covers, repainting trimming, replacing the cheap glitchy TV with a cheap not glitchy TV. It was nice that there were plenty of USB outlets, that's frankly an issue I've had with several hotels I've stayed at recently, surprising in this day and age. Overall good for a cheap emergency stay.
Rooms not as advertised, rooms were dirty, bathroom had mold
No good
Staff was great and very helpful, comfortable room
The staff provided a great service, but the room was not in the best condition. The bathroom had mold and there were roaches in the room. I could also consistently hear noises from the hallway, while I was inside the room. Location is very convenient since it is near a metro station and has food places nearby.
It was just ok.
Shockingly overpriced, Knights Inn teeters on the edge between urban street chic and flop house. It's obviously being used as "temporary" housing for families with adults and kids who never seem to sleep. The rooms are very down at the heel, furnished with worn out stuff, thread bare linen, and very tired climate control. The staff however is friendly and responsive, and the five car garage with a locking entrance door is a comfort, once you've squeezed in.
Dirty and expensive
Very nice Hotel
DO NOT RESERVE!!!
I booked two rooms, one under my name and the other under my colleague. He went to check in @5pm. They said they don't have the reservations. After showing them the ref # & confirmation email, still can't find. after 20 min, they find under my name but would not let my colleague check in because I'm not there. He leaves, tells them to forget it. I get a call @1am asking if we're still coming, I tell them about the earlier fiasco and they apologize but they have found both reservations. I tell them, it's 1AM, are you kidding me?! STAY AWAY!!! HORRIBLE!!!
Very poor quality
This would b the second time I stay in the king inn and the first time the toilet wast working no ice bucket ! No internet or slow internet. This time there was roches and we could leave food on the desk. Roches everywhere on the bed in bathroom. And I spoke to the front desk to look in to that it’s bad for there review it really not worth 201$ for a night .
They have great stuff and they clean
Felt like a motel 6
Leading up to check in the hotel called me 3xs to ask me what time i was coming. Beginning at 1pm. (Felt like i was being harrassed) I informed them i was on the road and was omw. The pictures make the rooms look much better than they are in real life. Its actually a ran down building and very outdated. The room was very hot and the ac was not properly working. There were no rags and towels in the room. When i notified them it took almost a hour for room service to come. When they finally came they brought 2 towels and 2 rags that were actually towels they were cut and made into rags. That was very tacky. Overall not a good experience.
Convenient
Rooms are tiny. Space is limited unlike in photos. Areas and room were dirty and restroom wasnt cleaned. Only stayed/ kept one night. Checked out early and went across the street to holiday inn instead.
I have no idea how this place could justify the cost for the experience. Horribly small sized rooms, dirty, extremely dated decor, faulty electricity in the bathroom, broken hair dryer, horrible looking garage space, etc. Even in NYC, I’d expect this to be a bottom priced hotel. Front desk people were fine enough.
lovely place , great worker
Disgusting
Roach hotel
I walk into my room with my husband and their was a roach walking up the curtain and when I asked for a refund they told me no I have to contact hotels.com but I paid with the hotel not hotel.com so they eventually gave my money back because I was screaming they have roaches
Oh my god. I have never seen a place like this! It’s so dirty and noisy also. The doesn’t give any tissue paper and handwash. Even no brush! I will never come here again. I am so upset and disappointed.

Convenient
Everything was great. But my tv didn’t work. And there wasn’t enough toilet tissue in the bathroom
I can’t even stay at the place .
There was nothing to like. It was run down and dingy. Two towels, no blankets.
Great clean quiet place
Smell smoke
Satisfactory
Room was very good. Though the walls were a little chippy, the room was comfortable. Not much room to walk around the bed, but the room was fine for me. The king size bed was nice and very comfortable.
No hot water the first night the morning was luke warm and there’s no stores after 12 tv didn’t work
Really not recommend!
Almosty no place to have dinner od breakfast. They invaded my room when I was out of the hotel. There was sand in the sheets.
The staff and service were really friendly and nice, but the room was somehow dirty, old towels, dirty floor, black hairs all over the bathroom (I’m a blonde) and in general the place needs maintenance, looks really old, when you take a bath the bathroom gets flooded, we ask three times for more soap, toilet paper and two extra towels and we never received any, the location is good the metro station is a few steps away, but the place needs a lot of improvements.
Room to small bed room extremely dirty.
The worst hotel I have ever been. A hotel without lobby, not comfortable, the door of my room doesn't open correctly...everything was bad!
Meh
Small sized room.
Bugs
The only good thing about this inn is the parking. Bed sheets were wet. Bathtub had hair in it. Walls in bathroom have mold. Towels are very old. No safe. Fridge and AC are very noisy!
Not the worst, not the best
For the price I paid for 1 night (on top of paying for safe parking), it was disappointing. Staff was very nice, but the lobby smells like cigarettes, the rooms feel and look dirty; especially the beds. Bathroom is clean though. The comforters are not comforting, I had trouble sleeping on that bed… I didnt want to touch them to be honest… sheets smelled bad and were very thin and worn. A lot of slamming doors throughout the night. I’m glad I brought my brother with me because it would have made the experience a bit more uncomfortable to be there alone. Would not recommend to someone who is looking for comfort.
Staff are always friendly and accomodating, but the rooms are not clean. Of course, the toilet and sink get cleaned, but if u look, there's dirt in all the less obvious spots, plus stains on doors and walls, and roaches every time.
Dirty used sheets!!!
It was dirty and smelly rooms, no coffee or tea maker in room. Sheets had to be changed to be able to sleep. Had an allergic reaction and broke out in rash, to the room.
Bathroom not hood, smell too bad
Great stay for 4 nights - just a 5mins walk to the subway station
For the price I paid for 3 days was not worth it. Rooms small. The connection to the television was horrible couldn’t watch the shows. Never cleaned the room. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay there
The worst place I’ve ever stayed at, avoid at all costs besides the dirtiness, it is attached to a night club, you won’t be able to sleep, and if the night club isn’t enough to make your stay at this place a piece of hell, the random banging on doors and the loud music from the other rooms that stayed on all night, it’s also there to remind you how much of a big mistake this place is for (hotel) to stay at! Run
This place is ok for what it is. There was no security box, so be aware. No tissue paper as well. It is kinda noisy as well. But if you are looking for a place where you want to get some sleep safely, this is not a bad choice at all. The neighborhood is relative safe as well.
The room and hotel was filthy , mold on the curtains the maid only came one time so we had a bu ch of trash and no towels I had to go ask for them and to take the trash out. It smelled like cigarettes even tho it’s a “non smoking” just horrible.
Perfect weekend
There overnight was great so clean staff was kind and very helpful with finding places to eat and places to go.
Great location
Room not cleaned at all for second night stay, staff not willing to compensate
I love the staff here, so friendly and accomodating. TRULY! ...But the rooms are dirty (not blaming the regular housekeepers, but rather management). There are roaches, "stains" on doors (ew), barely painted-over grafitti on walls, cigarette burns on the blankets, and an ice bucket you'd never want to put any consumable ice in it....and no sanitary liner bag. Mold and built-up dirt in corners and bathroom. Lets just say, I always wipe the surfaces down w disinfectant when I get to my room, I'm prepared for the gross-ness. But the staff is great!
No parking! Close to subway.
Housekeeping Went In My Bag & Stole My Money While i Was Away From The Hotel Facility & When i Reported It To The Hotel Front Desk, They Just Brushed Me Off and Told Me Housekeeping didn’t Steal Anything
Great customer
I guess you cannot expect too much for 100$ a night in NYC... but still. No on-site parking available. There are car parks nearby, but it's between 40 and 60$ per day, and I definitely wouldn't street park because of the neighborhood The hotel really needs some renovations and is generally in poor condition. The room was not very clean. No breakfast. Only convenience: the subway (D) is within a few minutes walking distance. Only stayed one day and then moved into the Holiday Inn across the street. More expensive but better comfort and clean rooms.
The place was clean with a comfortable bed. And enough room for my luggage. Thanks.
staff was really kind and the room was really clean and comfy
From 10pm to 3am, loud booming bass music reverberated so we couldn't sleep. No nightclub or bar anywhere. The room had a single towel per person, no hand towel or bath mat. Toilet wouldn't flush properly. No information that there was no room cleaning service. Desk clerk was polite.
Fix there doors to rooms
room not in good condition — holes in the blanket, not clean enough room not soundproof — you could hear other people in the middle of the night
Staff is fabulous! Place needs a refurbish: cigarette holes in the bedspread, mold in bathtub under shelf, stains on walls, etc. Plus the toiletry situation has become dire...used to be you'd get already used little bottles and tubes, now you get ONE small packet of shampoo (no conditioner or lotion)
Excellent, Quiet, & Clean! Very Relaxing Experience. Also able to walk to the mall and target.
Horrible.
No hot water. Nothing was done to help. Was told hot water needed a couple hours to come back but never got hot only cold water. No heat. No wifi. On Christmas day this was the worse hotel experience I ever had.
Stay at Brooklyn NYC
Not so good as it seems from the pictures. We booked for a few nights and stayed only one night before moving to the Holiday Inn Express just opposite. Staff was friendly and we were allowed to move out, thanks.
It was a nicely priced hotel conveniently located around the corner from the 9th avenue station. Scenic surrounding area with diverse culture and lots to explore. A comfortable and safe place to lay you head at night.
The room was too small, the view, what view there wasn't on, the mold in the bathroom especially the bathtub was atrocious. The towels & washcloths were dingy it's so sad that a hotel such as this charge me so much money for a dump & the bedding was so paper thin. The beet & very thin comforter was too small for the beds NEVER EVER AGAIN
One Night Stay
Total Confusion at Check In. after 6 trips to the front desk, wrong room or should I say a Closet!, none working keys, room with strong odor, finally received the room I paid for. T
Two hour wait to checkin and an offer for immediate checkin if I paid direct to hotel vs booking service.
I’m still waiting for my refund since I was told to contact them about it. I only stayed for three hours. My bedding was ripped and had stains on it, immediately I asked for new bedding politely and during those three hours nothing got done. The room was disgusting as well. Their outlets on the nightstands did not work, and when I tried calling the front desk with THEIR phone it was only ringing, I tried calling on my phone before I even got to the hotel and it was only doing the one monotone ring. They haven’t answered their email, and Expedia has been trying hard to call and contact them as well and they are not answering. The hotel across (Holiday Inn) is a much better experience, slightly expensive but I promise it’s worth it, don’t waste your time at this one. :/
The place smelled Like nothing but cigarettes My room looked nothing like the pictures! The bathroom in my room was dirty had long pieces of hair in toilet and around the bathroom floor
The beds are so comfortable
Noisy bad area around the hotel and they charge extra fees when i got there while i paid my reservation with Expedia already I would never stay there again
Dirty and noisy.
Terribly shabby and dirty hotel. Stained sheets, cockroaches, graffiti on walls and broken fixtures and fittings. We had to change room as both the bathroom door handle and shower knob were broken in the original room (they must have known that they were broken). We were then given "the best room in the hotel" but it was just as bad. Also the noise levels were terrible. Also they had live lamp fittings with no bulbs in them, a definite safety hazard. I seriously recommend you do not stay at this hotel.
You get what you pay for!
I just needed a place to lay my head before my next day flight. The room had a bad aroma, the complimentary lotion etc. had already been opened/used, the toilet paper could have been refreshed and the cleanliness overall could have been. The guys at the front desk and the Security guard at the connected club were very nice so that made the experience a pleasant one. Would I stay here again NO but customer service and convenience made the experience bearable.
Well, this is a really rinky dinky hotel. I had to idea it was that bad as I booked it as a package on Orbitz and did not have a chance to review the bad state of affairs. Would never stay there again. Suggest you take off of Orbitz
Literally one of the worst places I've ever stayed in. We booked this as a last minute hotel when we decided that we wanted to stay out and not drive 1.5 hours back to our house the same night. When we got there it was 1 am and too late to really look for anything else, so we tried to sleep for a few hours before getting the hell out of there as fast as we could. There were literally prostitutes in the waiting area and the person in front of us was trying to get the staff to let him rent a room for two hours. The entire place reeked of smoke. At 5 am there was banging on our door and when I opened it thinking it was the staff or something, there was a guy standing there with a cigarette in his mouth asking if I had a lighter. Insanely expensive on top of everything -- DO NOT STAY HERE!
Friendly staff Room for three days not changing bed sheets
Didn’t like the room
The property had no parking and the rooms were very small and no room service was provided on request. I will never stay in here again.
NOTHING LIKE PICTURES!!!! BUGS IN ROOM- REFUSED TO GIVE MY MONEY BACK AFTER WALKING OUT AFTER 5 minutes. ONLY 3RD PARTY PARKING- EXPENSIVE. i’ve never done a negative review for anything but this hotel is absolutely terrible. even had cops involved. 0/10. please save your money- stay at the Holiday Inn right in front of it for WAY BETTER.
I think it's expensive for not being very nice and not having parking
The hotel was a place to sleep for the night.
