The property is great. Problem was my Expedia confirmation was not showing in the system, so I had to pay cash and wait for my Expedia refund.
Nothing good about this hotel. I was a terrible experience .
It was comfy clean place and very quiet as well. good staff
cool for a overnight stay
I like it
Clean
Great stay
Not too bad lol
It was nice, no problems for price
Good
Very Respectful Quick Service
No heat in rooms & bathroom couldn’t stay there
Love it
Loved it very clean and brand new stuff
there was an insect in the fridge & the fridge did not work.
This hotel could qualify as a motel. The room description said that the bedding was Egyptian cotton sheets with a down duvet. Not even close. I contacted Expedia who called the location. The clerk changed the room for supposedly a better room. The new room was exactly the same except two floors higher.
The best
Old towels
In the pictures everything is always very beautiful…. But the reality is like this. There is little lighting in the room. There is not even a glass to drink water from. You have to go to the reception for dishes, and there they give you what you need - a disposable plate and a glass. The exhaust fan in the bathroom is constantly on, it does not turn off and hums all the time. The cabinet under the sink is broken. The elevator is very dirty. The elevator is also covered on the outside with a film that is installed so as not to damage it during installation. This film is torn off in pieces… The hot water takes a long time to heat up, when you open the tap, you have to wait until it gets hot. All the walls behind the air conditioner are damaged, the moldings are torn off. On the plus side - there is a microwave and a refrigerator in the room.
Toilet had pee on it already. and the fridge smelled like something expired in it. other than that the stay was good.
Hair all over the beds. Moldy bathtub. Unprofessional atmosphere. Never again.
Arrived at 7.00pm, we'd booked 2 rooms, 1 room wasn't ready (check in was 3.00pm). The bathrooms were unclean, one shower leaked and the hot water came out of the cold water tap. The bathroom extractor fan made a noise all night, along with the window, felt like we were in a wind tunnel and couldn't sleep and if we were lucky enough to nod off, we were woken with people talking/sneezing in the Reception area. I woke up with a red rash on my shoulder, that I can only put down to something in the bedding. We couldnt wait to leave.
The staff were amazing, the room was clean and comfortable. Shops and restaurants within easy walking distance and we felt safe at all hours. A bit of a hike to the subway, but still manageable. We did not have a car, but there seemed to be ample parking around.
Place smelled like urine. Reservation was made for 4 and there’s only 2 towels available. Too expensive for one night stay.
It’s imposible spent the night there many people making noise it’s really uncomfortable
Nicee place good service very difficult to find a parking spot late at night
Bad
The worst hotel I have ever visited. The towels are old, the maintenance is very neglected and the television has no service. The bathroom smells like vomit and the internet is as slow as the reviewer.
very small but effective
So bed
Cool
Great place and great service
Fine
Short walk to subway, room is quiet and comfortable, friendly staff, will recommend
Cleand and nice
No tv, noise, no toothpaste,toothbrush
The service fee upon check in is not disclosed. They even have a sign saying you must pay it or they wont check you in. How can you not check in if you’ve already paid the room cost? Again, service/additional fee upon check in, not disclosed. Bad business.
Oldest towels, oldest bed sheets, microwave was dirty and smelly
outdated linen, smelly air conditioning, no sound insulation, unfriendly lobby
Clean
Ice machine was out of order... check out time was 11a as opposed to normal 12p... when I asked for late check out, they only alotted check out til 12p. Loud music was being played from another room.
Will definitely be going back.
I found a cockroach in my room and the microwave had more than it. I changed room like two times and none of the rooms were clean. There was a hole in the wall and one of the light wasn't working. I brought it to the workers attention and he apologized, but you can't be renting hotels with dirty rooms like that, especially since my daughter was around.
Everything was good
It was overpriced, the towels and bedding were gross. The shower had mold and mildew and a bad Odor. There were people screaming all times of the night and morning in the halls.
Front disk so Rude
No wash clothes
Extermination needed
I did not have a pleasant experience, very uncomfortable and was Infested with roaches
Over charge me. They charge me extra $200 after I already paid $511 for my stay there. They said because I got there too early. I paid for March 18-22. I got there 3 on the 18th and they still charge me extra smh. I really want my $200 back plus a discount on the room. The beds was like sleeping on the ground. They false advertising on their website. They don’t have complimentary services like they offer. Whole time there the free WiFi didn’t work at all. I want a refund
We were very comfortable in the room that has king sized bed. It would have been very nice if there was another chair so that two could dine in the room.
It's ok
Good for a weekend stay.
This is a lovely new hotel. I'm giving it only 4 stars because THERE IS NO COFFEE AVAILABLE IN-ROOM OR IN THE LOBBY. This is stupidly short-sighted on the part of management. COFFEE is expected in American hotels for $100 bucks a night. Actually at any price.
Staff don’t acconadate, there wasn’t any soap or towels
Unhappy early check out
There was young kids who were from the homeless shelter who were camping out in front of the room where I booked They were noisy and loitering the hallways I ended up leaving 2am it was disturbing and loud, do I qualify for a refund?? They ice machine was broken and the room didn’t have what was listed as in toiletries and comfort, there was a small odor in the room.
Awful. Cockroaches, one towel, cigarette burns in sheets. Very unfriendly staff. Just bad.
Small and Basic room. No wow behind it. If you plan to just sleep there and spend all day doing activities, it's a great spot. Only 4 parking spots and limited side street parking. You will be driving around a bit looking for parking.
Seems like really good people at the counter there.
Wi-Fi service atrocious. No TV. Wouldn’t recommend
Simple and clean
Modern, clean, and nice room and property. Bring earplugs for normal city noises, but also for doors to hotel rooms that aren't soundproof at all.
Pillows were too small, room was a little dirty
Vieze dunne dekens met gaten, lakens waren wel schoon, veel lawaai op de gang, kinderen en sexende mensen. Shampoo en zeep was op, we kregen geen nieuwe, het was koud, we kregen geen extra deken. Verder wel oké
They towels has rips in it they need new ones
The hotel itself was cool. I had no problems with it especially staying thr for my gf bday.. parking is limited that's about the only problem I had with the establishment. I would stay again
Parking was not available at night
Check the bed
Overall ots not thw worst hotel, looked nice. The walls are SUPER tjon so i heard a lot of stuff ar night from the hallway and other rooms. My biggesr complain is the bed sheets. Eavh layer was stained and one even had cigarette burns. It was very hard to feel clean and sleep.
LOVE THEM!!!
the hotel was great, it even has some parking spaces in the front if you are crazy enough(as us) to drive to NY!! One plus is that I mistakenly booked the day before our trip so I called them and they agreed to give me credit for the next day, The room was well designed, modern and clean, the bed was comfortable, the only minus is that it did not have darkening curtains. After further inspection I saw that it did have them before but they were removed. The room was spacious by NY standards!
There’s nothing unique or nice about this hotel, it’s dirty and the towels are hard and old looking. Had to go out and buy towels. The shower had mold in it. And this hotel house migrants. Loud music and felt unsafe. The money that I spent to stay here was not worth it. Will not recommend or ever go back. The cover on the bed had a burnt hole in it. Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!
Okay place. TV did not work, it was in Spanish and didn't connect to wifi. Sink dirty. No shampoo.
Room was smaller than advertised and employee was of no help when trying to check in. Went out later in the day and came back to my door locked. I had to pay another surcharge before I could enter my room again. Why would I need to pay to get in my room that I already pay for??? Would never go again and never recommend going here. Spend a little more and get a better hotel in Manhattan
A very basic hotel, but had a great time here. There’s a ton of restaurants within walking distance and sunset park is a very diverse neighborhood and had a cool vibe. There’s a couple train stops a few blocks away and make getting anywhere in the city easy. I’d stay here again for sure. It’s almost a mix between an apartment and a hotel
Pictures looked way better then reality. Small rooms, very uncomfortable beds, super tiny pillows (literally like a toddler pillow). Our bathroom door wouldn’t close, the curtain wouldn’t come down in our room, hallways were super smelly. Location was fine, close to 5th ave and a lot of stores and places for food, but we drove everywhere we went because we went to nicer neighborhoods to walk around and eat. Wouldn’t stay here again.
So dirty no professionality
Nice and clean
quality of bedding(with holes) old pillows not usable! not even a glass in the bathroom! This hotel should be cheap! not 170$!!
