Wouldn’t recommend, clean but hotel needs work
Excellent staff and very nice hotel (very beautiful). Will definitely come back here again.
Good value hotel
This hotel is predominantly used by groups on tours, treks, etc, and as such has a high turn around and is at its busiest mornings and evenings, indeed we chose this hotel waiting for someone returning from one such event. Therefore during the day the hotel is quiet, but most hotels in the area are from what we saw. We really enjoyed our stay here because we liked the atmosphere and energy the groups injected, the staff were very helpful, as was the general manager, who advised us they plan to refurb next year and attract more long term guests. The rooms are clean, but will benefit from the intended refurb. We had a suite which was large and roomy, there are 4 in the hotel. The view from the outside is amazing and the sunsets from here too. We hired a car and this is a good base to visit the local attractions from as well as drive further on the well maintained roads to places such as Dades Gorges and Fint Oasis. The food is buffet style to cater for the groups, which is OK, there is plenty of it and its good value. There are some amazing restaurants locally if you prefer something more, such as La Kasha des Sables, and just down the road there is the Full Sun Restaurant, which was amazing value. All in all we would return this is a pleasant hotel, which is very very good value.
compared with other morocco riads this is the best
Stay was OK Biggest issue was with Wi-Fi
Superbe ville, mais hôtel vieillot
Superbe ville, mais hôtel vieillot
Noisy at night, food poor. Staff very slow to respond. They took the towels out of our room even though we hadn’t checked out and it took ages to get new towels so we could swim. Rooms look nothing like website
Good hotel for the price, nice location. Breakfast could be better organized.
Nice hotel with everything you might need, including a bar and swimming pool with an excellent view of the Ouarzazate countryside. The WiFi is dodgy but other than that facilities were excellent.
Broken hair dryers and dirty towels
For what this hotel charges - you would expect they could afford to upgrade the 80’s era attached to the wall hairdryers. It would overheat after a minute of use and shut down. You have to wait for it to cool before it would come on again. This can’t be safe. Towels had stains and were frayed. Breakfast offerings were minimal with very little fresh food. The only thing good was the woman making the pancakes. She was a delight. The porter carrying the bags was also very effiecient and dedicated.
Nice location but old facility
Simple and yet in a good location but it's an older facility staff is really nice breakfast was all simple fresh and good tasting.
quick and easy for an overnight stay.
This is great little oasis in the city hilltop.. nice meals but you cant be late.. they do not really refill the dinner or breakfast.. the serving ladies are too quick to clean your plates, when you leave the table for just a minute! nice rooms.. They washed our car.. thank you.. also location close to the local markets! nice to see the local culture.
A one night stay
This is a good place for a one night stay. You are here to see that scenery, not be in a luxury hotel. The room was clean but definitely old. The facilities are Kasbah like with a nice view of the city.
Good hotel with a lot of character
Fine hotel for the area. Good breakfast. The building is a bit rundown.
Comfortable and modern
Although the sheets were dirty when I first checked in, I told the font desk and they had someone come to change them immediately. The AC worked great, the shower was hot, and the bed was comfortable. Oh, and there were a few good English channels to choose from on the tv. Also, breakfast was decent, and the rooftop view was gorgeous.
Nice hotel, close to downtown, museum and Kasbah
One night only but fantastic trip, we visit museum, kasbah, we tool a ride on Atv quad in forest through river and desert
Good location but fair condition...
The hotel have a strong potential but needs to work hard.
Immaculately clean. Staff very courteous, helpful and friendly. Let us use phone at no cost or problem. Helped us for info. Very nice sized room for 2 adults and 1 11 year old. Only poor point was tv reception was extremely poor. No electric kettle.
Disappointing
Such great potential - this hotel has an amazing panoramic terrace and great location. But the rooms are small and the air con non-existent. Breakfast was a true disappointment with little to choose from. Kitchen staff were friendly but front desk staff not so much . They've missed the mark , but with a little effort this site could beSt out the chains in the area
Convenient location, good parking
Nice terrace and pool. Bathroom not in good state of repair. Quality of food mediocre. How to find room difficult as number of our room was missing from some signs.
Good hotel overall
Good service and good hotel overall, can recommend it for future visitors
The only thing valued about this hotel is the view from the pool and proximity to the town square. Central air-conditioning did not work or was turned off until later in the day as we were told. Most disappointing.
Great hotel in the middle of nowhere
Good hotel located not far from downtown area. Two big pluses - swimming pool and large backyard.
convenient for desert excursion
The hotel was ok but not worth its 4* rating. The airconditioning didnt work properly and the water in the bathroom came out a rusty orange colour. I got this hotel with over 50% off its original price so would of been v disappointed had I paid that. The breakfast was good and one of the reception girls was so lovely to me.
Central and close to CTM Bus Stop/Office
Ouarzazate is full of hotels that were built for the expected influx of tourists. This is one of those hotels and is a very old hotel. However, it has recently been renovated so the rooms/ carpets etc. are now quite nice. In other areas you will notice it is an old hotel. However, for the rate we got from hotels.com it was good value.
Great place to stay in while the lovely Marrakesh
Great place to stay in. Lovely staff. Great food. Not far from the Medina and in frount of the Pesha Club. In my room I couldn't get a Wi Fi connection, but it was easy to get in the lovely & very welcoming reception. A*
Kenzi Azghor
Good comfortable hotel in the centre of Ouarzazate. Rooms are fairly standard but everything works and they are clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Very pleasant public areas.
Good pool and Garden, but bad Hotel
I traveled with kids and booked 2 Non-Smoking rooms. But on time of my arrival, only Smoking Rooms were available and we suffered from cigarets smeld for all time. Hotel is working on all-inclusive base for French turists. Quality of breakfast is very poor-it looks like administration is trying severe to econome on everithing, what is already prepaid. Hotel as it is, old and not very good. Pool side and Garden-is not bad, especialy because of a contrast with dusty Marrakech streets.
Great place to stay in a lovely area.
We greatly enjoyed our stay here. The best for the price in the area. Lovely visit of a fascinating place too
A fuir !
Wasn't a nice hotel. Had to pay taxes double. Room was super cold and they couldn't find the remote for the airco.
Majestic Stay at Kenzi Azghor – The Best in Ouarza
Kenzi Azghor Hotel in Ouarzazate was hands down our best stay in Morocco! The hotel exudes a majestic charm, perfectly blending luxury with authentic Moroccan vibes. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The highlight has to be the breathtaking swimming pool and terrace, offering stunning views of the Atlas Mountains and the surrounding landscapes. It's the perfect place to relax and take in the beauty of Ouarzazate. We were also blown away by the restaurant—both the buffet dinner and breakfast were incredible, with a wide variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. Our room was fantastic—spacious, comfortable, and equipped with all the modern amenities. The bed was plush, and the bathroom was large and immaculate.
