We had a wonderful 9th Anniversary Valentines Day weekend at the Manor. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Our host, America, was so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our morning chats over a healthy breakfast. We will definitely be back!
This is a family business They are so warm, and welcoming Great healthy breakfast. Get the vegetable omelette Fresh abundant trays of fruit Great coffee Beautiful grounds The rooms are warm, comfortable and large. Will definitely come back again Close to Woodstock
Nice hosts, big rooms. Wonderful breakfast! Definitely would stay again!
Friendly and quiet
Was very welcoming, the staff here are great. They make the experience that much better. The room was large with basic necessities. Really felt at home. Will be back soon.
Lovely property and grounds! Will stay there again the next time we're in the area.
Second time and definitely coming back They made sure I have hot coffee at 4:30 in the morning
What a lovely find. Whether you’re planning a seasonal visit for outdoorsy activities or looking for a comfortable place to stay for an event (Bethel Woods is 15 mins away) this is a delightful and charming retreat. Well priced, and extremely welcoming. Looking forward to staying there again when we are in the area.
Friendly staff.
Get away
We had a perfect time at the hotel. Very relaxing with no hassles. Wonderful staff.
The place is quiet and clean
Great place with very nice owners
The property was private and out of the way. We werent sure what to expect but it was such a beautiful little place to stay. staff was so welcoming and hospitable. The rooms were huge! Would definitely stay here again
The women who owns it is lovely. The property needs a lot of updating.
Nic place but it’s only a guesthouse. Don’t expect a refrigerator in your room or a restaurant on site. Beautiful location and the grounds are beautiful. The yelping turkey in the morning was funny
My girlfriend thought it was the cutiest place ever! We had a wonderful stay. We would love to come back!
.
Great Spot Highly Recommend
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Jordan that worked the front desk was beyond accommodating, he gave us a ride to and back from the concert we went to. He also saved me as i was locked out of my room after 1am. If I am ever back in town, this will be where I stay!
Very nice Inn close to Bethel Woods
Jordan was wonderful for our weekend stay! We came up for a concert at Bethel Woods, but we would go back just for a relaxing weekend trip here!
Do NOT be fooled by old ratings and pictures!!!
I chose this manor for an overnight stay when seeing a show. Pictures nice online, seemed to be a place that was well preserved, old-time feel. Existing ratings were what sold me to book. Upon arriving, we realized this was NOT the case. The exterior is a bit rundown, to be expected for an older building. The lobby was okay. When we arrived to our room, we immediately noticed the room itself was legitimately lopsided. It was disorienting that the floor was slanted. Wasn’t sure if we were just imagining it so we did a test and sure enough things rolled down the slant. The bathroom seemed like it had only been cleaned at the surface, there was a lot of dust, hard water buildup and stains. It looks like they rarely deep clean on these rooms. Of course, no one expects a full deep clean between EVERY guest, but I didn’t think it was appropriate to deem the buildup and grime as fit for a stay at price I paid. Toilet didn’t flush. We let them know and they came up to “fix” it, later the same night, the same thing. Shower was leaking, we figured it was old and we had just ran it so hopefully it’d stop by the morning but it only got worse. And not just a small trickle, it was quite a bit leaking out of it… plumbing does not seem to be their strong suit. Beds are uncomfortable, SO MUCH DUST. If you want to make a noise complaint, get your shoes on because walls are PAPER thin and no phone in room. We were hoping the breakfast would redeem them Just warm juice, yogurt, and OK muffins.
What an absolutely lovely spot! The hosts are wonderful and very appreciative of all the guests. They really embraced their location near the Bethel Woods venue. Highly recommended!
A nice adults only inn for a quiet night of relaxation.
The Kenoza Lake View Manor was gorgeous, quaint, clean and the staff was so friendly. I will definitely be recommending this property to all my friends and family if they’re in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Another great stay for our trip…thank you!!!
While the staff was super friendly and helpful, the property has seen better days. It needs a scrub down. STAT! The location to Bethel Woods is convenient, only 15 min away.
The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and very accommodating.
Staff are the best
Staff was amazing and really make the place feel like home. I loved Jordain’s food guide - it was so handy and he knows everything about the place! The staff really make this place a gem out there thank you for everything - Jon and Nancy
Very quant and wonderful people
The proprietors of the manor couldn't have been nicer. They were very professional in all aspects in our deals. They were very helpful in navigating the area. If in the area again, we would definitely stay at the Manor.
Bad hotel stay
From the photos when I booked, it online seemed very nice, but they didn’t show any photos of the room when I got there. It was a lovely place, but the room was dirty. The bed was super uncomfortable, very lumpy and it sunk in the middle and I didn’t feel like we received any decent service.
Older Victorian with piles of charm and quirks. Bed was awesome. Check-in was easy. Very convenient to Bethel Woods and concerts.
nice big room with windows that open--very quiet which is what i needed the most.
Feels like you’re at home. Comfy & cozy
We were greeted very nicely upon arrival. The young man ( Charlie ?) was very friendly, kind, knowledgeable & helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. Felt like we were home. We even saw a family of deer. We would most definitely come back. It’s close to Bethel Wood where we had gone.
The wifi did not work and no hot water! We had to walk up 3 flights if stairs.
perfect place to stay when going to a show at Bethel Woods!
Nice family Inn in country setting near Bethel Woods Amphitheater. Great breakfast.
Great if you want Alice in a Wonderland experience. Place is very very outdated but clean! Hosts are very accommodating. It’s a different place.
A nice getaway!
The owners are wonderful and very accommodating! The location so peaceful. Close Bethel Woods events.
Excellent for what it is
Jordain is a super friendly host, welcoming us at the door. This property is very casual and down to earth, found in a rural town, it’s just what you’d expect, nothing fancy, but great stay!!
5 stars
We had an amazing time!!! Owners were so friendly and accommodating!! I would definitely go back!!
Great family owned hotel
Excellent family owned historic hotel located in a nice secluded area of Jeffersonville. The family makes you feel at home and have a ton of information about the area. Our room was clean and spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast is awesome, and I highly recommend the omelette. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re in the area!
Owner very nice. Comfortable bed. A little run down. Fine for 1 night.
Kenoza is a Wonderful place to stay.
This is a Great place to stay. The Owner was fabulous and very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.
Very beautiful property. The property owners are very kind and friendly. The property is close to Bethel Woods (Woodstock music festival site) and Jeffersonville Village. I was very pleased with the accommodations.
It was a nice quiet overnight stay. And the hosts were very friendly, and courteous. We enjoyed our lovely breakfast before heading back home.
Lovely, caring staff
The room was huge, very well cared for and the bed was awesome! The staff made us breakfast of our choice every morning which was yummy and they were very attentive whatever or whenever we needed. We would definitely recommend!
Stayed over for a concert at Bethel Woods. Close to the venue, staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. We will definitely visit again.
Kenoza Lake View Manor is a charming hotel! It's quaint and it's rare to find places like this. The surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous, and they have walking trails through the woods on their property. The owners are so warm and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here!
Must reach out and give tons of kudos to America. She’s like family. Makes you feel right at home. You get what you paid for. No bells and whistles. Just a very unique weekend getaway from the city. Will be doing this again.
Overall a nice stay. Very friendly people but overpriced.
Nice older property with lots of character. Owners very accommodating
Nice family that operates property however they need make improvements repaint interior/exterior however it was close to to the wedding venue
Wonderful little inn, perfect for weekend getaway
What a wonderful little gem of an inn - located in a beautiful part of NYS! The family that runs the Kenoza Manor are simply the best - so friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Location is perfect for a show at Bethel and they even offer shuttle service to and fro if you ask. Highly recommend this place. Can't wait to return when we can spend more time (we were there for music festival). Can't even imagine how gorgeous it must be in the fall.
Charming Inn, great location, & wonderful family Breakfast was delicious & we really appreciated the shuttle to Bethel. We will definitely be back!
Welcoming staff and grounds; enjoyed the visit!
Super friendly staff
Relaxing, safe, quiet location with amazing, service oriented owners.
Wonderful staff/people. Rooms need major updating.
The staff on this site helped make the stay nice by their accommodating nature and friendly service. They made the stay comfortable by going above and beyond. The breakfast was delicious and the shuttle service was an added bonus. While we understand that the building itself is old, the rooms really need some updating. There were electrical safety concerns including the air conditioner being plugged into 2 connecting extension cords and an adapter. The extension cords were not appropriate for operating an AC. The tv was plugged in by running wires into the bathroom and plugging it into the outlet in there. We were seriously worried about plugging any of our own items in due to fear of tripping a breaker or starting a fire. The room was small and basic. A bed, closet, tv, and bathroom. However, the age of this building adds to the charm. The location is beautiful and the grounds are stunning. Upon returning from the concert they had fires lit out side and plenty of seating in the form of chairs, gliders and outdoor swings. The staff appears to genuinely care about the comfort and happiness of their guests. They are incredibly kind, happy and welcoming people.
outstanding
The owners were wonderful. The breakfast choices were either continental style or made to order eggs by the owner’s Mom. This B&B is in a pre-renovation state. We still enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.
The whole staff was so accommodating and friendly. An authentic family-like atmosphere with exceptional service. This is a great place to stay if you are going to a concert, they even have a shuttle service we were offered. My wife and I will definitely go back again to stay for our next concert.
Ok
Top Notch Service at Country Hotel
This country hotel was charming and WELL run by a family that was on point with guest interaction and service to the nearby Bethel Woods concert Amphitheater. All involved from father, mother, and brothers who care about the guest experience.
This is a nice place with a staff that is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The place is dated and walls are thin. I could hear conversations in adjoining rooms. It is a real nice setting and I would stay there again if going to that area.
Fantastic owners! Friendly, helpful, excellent accommodations.
Very tired property with serious need for maintenance.
Beautiful property. Wonderful family run B and B. Will be back. The description on line does not so it justice!
The owner and staff could not be more pleasant and helpful.
Enjoyed the visit
Very hospitable team.
WE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PROPERTY . THE FAMILY RUNNING THE MANOR IS FIRST CLASS . WE HAD SUCH A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE . VERY CLOSE TO BETHEL WOODS ARTS CENTER . WE WILL ABSOLUTELY BEING STAYING THERE AGAIN NEXT SPRING AND SUMMER WHEN THE CONCERT SCHEDULE COMES OUT . JORDAN AND HIS FAMILY WERE INCREDIBLY GRACIOUS HOST . AND THE MANOR IS WELL MAINTAINED AND SUPER CLEAN . CAN'T WAIT TIL NEXT YEAR .
Funky old hotel. Minimal amenities in room such as soap. Great breakfast included and staff are friendly and eager to help.
The family is wonderful and had an excellent stay
Have stayed before. Will stay again
Great stay
vintage hotel with homemade breakfast served, option of an omelet or scrambled eggs, I got the "garden omelet" delicious, warm, friendly environment and staff (family owned and run), if you're looking for something different, this is the place.
This place is very quirky and unique, owned and run by a husband and wife team. Super nice, great homemade breakfast, lovely grounds. Room was very clean, comfy bed. I would def stay again.
Friendly hostess
Hotel is a very pleasant old building -- clean with interesting decor. There is no elevator for the 3 floors, but the young man who checked us in carried my suitcase upstairs. Electricity is not powerful enough in the bedroom to charge a laptop computer, but it can be done in the lobby. Breakfast was delicious with many choices and very pleasant cook and hostess.
We were in room #4 on the first floor and the door had a window in it with just a curtain over it not blocking out the light from the hallway. I got dressed once at 2AM went out found the switch and shut it off but within 10 minutes someone turned it back on. At 3:30 AM I got up and hung my husbands coat over the window that blocked it a little more but still a lot of light was coming into our room. This was our only negative thing about our stay. We both have said we would stay again just ask for a room without a window in the door.
Very clean, bargain price for the area, close to towns and points of interest!
Cozy Inn
The place is run by a very nice family. It is set up like an old inn and bed and breakfast type. There is a shuttle available and fire pits set up out front with Adirondack chairs. It is a cozy place to stay with a short distance to Bethel woods.
Groovy stay on our trip to Woodstock!
America and her family were very gracious hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will stay again!
Style atmosphere and history. Bring your own wine and charcuterie to enjoy this great place from a bygone era. The rooms are beautiful and the main lobby even more so. The owner has a great backstory if you have the chance to chat. It’s run by a small family so don’t expect a big staff. There’s coffee and small breakfast items in the morning but no restaurant. So very worth it to stay here. Lots of things to do in the area too.
Staff was very accommodating and friendly
America, the host, was warm and gracious. On a chilly evening, the room was warm.
Great location. We went to Bethel Woods to check out the site of the ‘69 concert and the museum. We were pretty close to it. The rooms were clean. But, the rooms could use some updating. Overall, clean bed to sleep in. Breakfast was good. Owner was very nice. I would recommend this place.
Staff was wonderful! Helpful, friendly, and kind. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean and inviting.
pretty run down but clean. There is not much available in the area so by comparison it was the best option.
I declined to stay there- it was going to be me and one other man staying in this 3 floor building- all around are unused/vacent buildings. creepy
I checked in late in the evening and there was a small issue with my room. They had no problem getting me a new room and the new room was lovely!
Very close to the Woodstock museum and stunning White Lake, Kenoza Lake View Manor is perched in a beautiful wooded setting. Inn-keeper America and her family go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The inn is old, true, but comfy. I slept quite well and very much enjoyed my home-made breakfast each morning. I left behind a favorite jacket which they promptly returned to me. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Old hotel speaks for itself so just be ready when you walk in. This meas window air conditioners and small TV with not many options. This hotel option was adequate for us. If considering this location just don't expect all the amenities of a newer hotel. Location was great if you are going to the Bethel Woods Music Center to see a concert. Staff was VERY FRIENDLY and accommodating. Cell service for us was nonexistent, we have Consumer Cellular which uses ATT and T-Mobile network. So be ready if you are traveling here to stay using your cell phone. Just by chance we brought a GARMIN GPS and it was fine right up until the point that you discover there are TWO - Swiss Hill Roads in Kenoza Lake NY. BTW - Expedia has this listed as Jeffersonville NY and that is WRONG. Correct address is:56 Swiss Hill Rd N, Kenoza Lake, NY 12750
The staff were great! Very accommodating. Breakfast was delicious 😋 Overall great stay!
Friendly staff.
So Wonderful
What an absolutely lovely place. The owner is so adorable and sweet and provided us a great home cooked breakfast. The place was clean and beautiful
Great location, comfy bed, pleasant staff
Phenomenal location near Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Surrounded by natural beauty of the Catskills. Older building with charm, but definitely not a modern structure nor plumbing infrastructure. Most rooms require a climb up wooden stairs (but owner offers to take up your suitcases for you).
It was a great old hotel.
Charming place
Eclectic and charming hotel with very friendly service and tasty breakfast! Feeling like home. Quiet, good beds, excellent sitting outside. Lots of privacy, forest and a small pond around We had been meeting friends who have cabin in Catskills, and took two nights there.
Get away
The place was amazing. Ideal for quick getaway from the chaos. I loved the hospitally, service and location. Very quiet and beautiful antique or historic location feel. My husband and I loved it. We will definitely come back. Thanks.
