Beautiful property, friendly staff. Loved my stay!
Not worth the cost of staying and the fees.
Great for my 1 night stay. I wish I would have resort passes to explore some inhouse amenities like indoor waterpark, Gondola ride etc.
Very nice.
Very nice and clean rooms and excellent view where we stayed.
Yes
Very happy with the room.
Good place to stop and stay in northern vt
This is a winter resort. If you are herefor the off season, lots of stuff isclosed. It might nt be a good option for families during the off season.
Bathroom/Bedroom are on Different Floors.
The cottage was spotless. Kitchen was complete. But there was no coffee/tea setup. Had to go up the mountain to the general store (Provisions) but that didn't open til 7:30 am. And when you're awake at 6 am, that doesn't work. Also of note, in the cottage, it's an upstairs bathroom, kitchen, living room. Big bedroom but it's in the basement so during the night, you have to go upstairs to use the bathroom. Tons of storage for anything you want and a washer and dryer.
The check in desk was very efficient and friendly. We went back later to talk to her about hiking/biking trails and had a fun time talking to her then as well
The carpets in the unit were very dirty and stained. The mini blinds were very dirty and the ceiling fans extremely dirty with inches of dust on them. No TVs in the bedrooms. On a positive note: Lots of towels, extra blankets, and toiletries!
Not the best
We stayed in a cottage and it need to be recleaned..the carpets are dirty and need cleaning and it smells musty in the bedrooms...the cottage needs a refresh windows cleaned and property weeded outside
Great place to stay with your family. A lot of things to do. Amazing water park. Great service.
We booked through expedia showing pictures of different resort and we were given a different hotel which was disappointing.
There was some mold outside of the bathroom in the carpet. Looked like a leak from the tub. Other than that good.
Worst Hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The room we booked was not available. The amenities listed were not available. Room was dirty with hair on the bedsheets. Housekeeping is not available during your stay. Dining was very limited only one place open during weekdays.. we booked this hotel and the specific room because of our son with special needs for the staff to tell us sorry but no rooms with those amenities are guaranteed. We demanded refund of the day we checked in but they were reluctant to give us a refund for the booking. We ended up leaving. Do yourself a favor and do not book this hotel.
Great property, even for a quick summer stop.
I enjoyed the restaurants and my grandchildren really enjoyed the water park .
Beautiful property, very clean rooms, lots to do. Fellow guests were very loud, smoking Marijuana by our cottage windows while playing a game that sounded like they were throwing rocks into tin cans until 10pm and then the 2nd night stay (from 10 pm into the wee hours of the morning) there were young teens running around the property, setting off our cars alarm and ringing the door bell scaring our children. They were undeterred by security and absolutely ruined the very expensive getaway we had planned for our 6 year old (who had opted for a vacation instead of a birthday party.) I suggest not to bother spending extra on a cabbin or cottage. Staying in an air-conditioned (the cottages aren't, and it was in the 90's with windows closed due to all the Marijuana smoke) hotel room for a fraction of the price would have been a better stay. Very disappointed.
More signage needed around property. It's a large area with not enough signs. Our room was missing a remote for the TV, the telephone for the shuttle didn't work, and the patio was covered with spiders to the point we couldn't sit out there and enjoy. The unit was clean, the front desk staff was friendly but this resort is missing quite a few amenities and space for groups to enjoy the area.
My stay in the cottages of the golf course was not the greatest experience. There was no air conditioning. They had a fan and a ceiling fan. But it was still too hot. There was too many bugs out there. The rooms were spacious and clean. More for someone who likes nature.
Excellent stay
Lovely property. Good food in restaurants staff friendly and helpful

Double Check where are you going to stay and your check in time (3:00 pm or 7:00 pm) carefully
Good space as advertised and location is convenient for all things Jay Peak. Needs a non-stick fry pan and some more basic cooking spices. Washing machine seemed to get stuck when we tried to do a quick wash. Shower on main floor is at a height that is difficult to make shower enjoyable (too high). A good stay just a few niggly things.
Entire staff did an incredibly outstanding job. Every one of them went out of their way to make each individual’s experience an amazing one. Hats off to the entire staff!
The views were spectacular and inspiring.
I have a great family vacation.
So peaceful!
Would not recommend this in summer if it's hot!
This condo was perfect for what we needed as two couples traveling space-wise and everything was great from the staff as far as check-in and getting to the unit. We will likely not be returning to Jay to stay overnight as they do not allow dogs even when the property especially in the summer, is perfect for leashed walking. The main issue we had with the unit was there was not AC in any part of the condo. Maybe I missed that or just assumed it would have AC. I live here in VT and understand our summers are very short, but it was uncomfortably hot the entire stay. When we checked in the thermostat showed 83 degrees, and I was unable to sleep due to being too hot and uncomfortable. The unit did not get below 79 degrees even after the temperature dropped to 68 for the night and after we opened all of the windows. The resort is gorgeous and I'll be back to Jay for day trips to ski, but likely not renting a condo out due to not allowing dogs and the lack of AC in the summer.
There was a VERY bad smell downstairs!! So much so I stayed on the couch and my daughter stayed upstairs with her dad. No one could sleep down there.. stains all over the carpets.. the smell has to be fixed and we need to be compensated. This room was 250 a night!! NOT GOOD
Jay Peak
I thought I had a room at the hotel. Was put into a condo furnished with amenities I was not prepared for: coffee maker but no coffee, washer/dryer but no soap. Bedroom of condo was downstairs but only bath was upstairs. Carpets stained. Only hotel that did not contact me prior to check in on trip. This is a huge resort but I was disappointed.
Loved our stay will be back!
We didn’t have hot water in our cottage. When we called cottage service no one answered.
We had a wonderful stay. The weather was rainy but we had plenty to do at the indoor swim park. The restaurants were right on campus and the pizza was especially good and reasonably priced.
Wished the waterpark tickets were included or at least an option to add on Expedia
Awesome place for the family
Staff was great. Having the dinning area on site was a plus
Disappointed
Bed was full of someone else's hair, ick. Bathroom was missing toilet paper holder rod and they couldn't find one to fit. You would think at the price they charge for a room they could have found a solution to that. Food was good but pricey. Water park was average and should have been included for the price of the room.
Water park small
Great great great
Love j peak great place!
Well maintained and beautiful winter resort. Friendly staff and shuttle service was convenient.
Everything was excellent. only suggestion is more tables in the pool area.
All around out stay was excellent. The staff were helpful, and the hotel is located right on the mountain so it’s ski in and out. The onsite restaurants are also quite good. One issue one of the nights with noise around and above our floor (basically noise proofing is not great and we had really loud neighbours) but it wasn’t bad enough to wreck our stay.
Great food at Howie’s and great service from employees at the Pump House, Shuttle service, and hotel.
The room was not cleaned for 5 days. Just disappointed: reason they stopped cleaning since Covid.
The best to visit in the winter months.
👍
Place was awesome
Overall very good stay and accommodations. Could use a coat of paint though. Resort is great, which is needed as it’s really in the middle of nowhere.
Our trip to Jay Peak was awesome! Our kids (7 and 10 years old) loved it just as much as we did. We stayed at the Stateside Hotel. It is right across from Clips & Reels, which I can’t recommend highly enough. As a hotel guest, we got to see The Little Mermaid for free in their theater and another night we went back to climb and do the ropes course. It’s not a huge place, but it was incredibly fun (and challenging) for all 4 of us. We also spent a day at the waterpark - which is a must see if you’re going to Jay Peak. It’s connected to an arcade where we spent lots of time too. Skiing conditions were great. Housekeeping doesn’t come in, so we had to ask for more TP and new towels. While that was surprising, it wasn’t a dealbreaker for us. Will definitely be going back.
We had a great time at the Stateside Lodge. Unfortunately, I woke up with 5 bites that appear to be from bed bugs. I inquired at the front desk if there had been other reports and the gentleman told me that there had not. We wouldn’t stay there again because of it but the ski hills are great.
I like it
Good
It was perfect!! We just wish the resort had more gluten free dining options (literally pizza only) water pressure in shower was awful. But everything else was 10/10!!!!
Nice family weekend getaway with something for everyone
This was a spectacular resort... enjoyed very much .. Definitely will come back
Ski Stay
Nice 1-bedroom condo. Would like to have a TV in bedroom, but not end of world. Everything is close by and convenient
Very clean and quiet. Just the right space for what we needed.
Conditions of the place don’t match with the money spend
Great location, plenty of room for my 2 small kids, my wife and I. Plan on booking at that location again due to the lower cost, central location, privacy and good parking.
it was great having breakfast included and being right on the hill at stateside, the shower had very bad pressure and the building is old and dated. the staff were very sweet and accommodating. the building and rooms need an upgrade.
Had a blast with our family at the water park during Thanksgiving weekend. Place was very nice. We are coming back for sure.
This property was great, I would go back again, but it could have been cleaner...dishes from previous guest were still in dishwasher, their check in cards still there, there were some dead flys in living area...I get it's off season but still...other than that was perfect for what we needed.
We go there every year but this year the place was just dirty, dirty cups in the kitchen the amount of dirt on the ceiling fan was just horrible. We love the place but this year we were just disappointed.
Worst Stay
The room we stayed in was two floors-this was not what was described when I scheduled my stay. As a disabled person having to walk up and down narrow stairs with a loose handrail was terrifying and also excruciatingly painful. The sheets, blankets, towels all had hair on them from various people-that was disgusting. The bed was so uncomfortable I ended up throwing my back out. The stairs outside our cottage place were uneven and moved when stepped on. They were not secure at all. The bathroom shower had barely any water pressure and the toilet was wobbly when my 9 y/o sat on it. Lastly, there were tons of hidden fees. I was told I’d only be charged $62 for resort fees-I ended up being charged $282.36. I had already paid over $300 for my two night stay. This is ridiculous, and I did not have any perks with my stay such as water park tickets. Overall, this was the worst “hotel” I had ever stayed at. I will not recommend this place to anyone.
Hockey in Jay 11-17/11-19
Had a hockey tournament at the Ice Haus this past weekend. Booked throught Hotel.com and had a great rate. The cottage was very clean and plenty of room. Didn't have time to bring food so ate at the Foundry Pub and Grill. the food was amazing. All the kids had a great time in the Pump house. One thing I did notice in the cottage was there are no updated USB ports any place in througout. Make sure you bring a charging block. Will be back again.
Got a unit for disabled I think… it wasn’t as cozy.
Clean and staff was great- thanks
not much to do in the off seasons
.
Prices are $$$ on the resort. Bring your own goods.
Amazing property close to everything!
The resort is ideally located to enjoy the beautiful New England fall!
Got there after dark.Signage very difficult to see and follow ,need better lighting on signs. All patrons checking in had similar problems.
Things were not far from each other easy to get there
We liked the friendly staff.
Gorgeous property!
A Trip to the Peak
Excellent rooms, excellent food at the restaurants, friendly service. I have mobility problems because of knee injuries. The front desk staff quickly changed my room to one closer accessible to my limitations. Very considerate & swift. Highly recommend this place. Price is reasonable. Make sure to take a trip on the tram up the mountain for magnificent views.
Gorgeous property and beautiful room!!
Good value
.
It was a bit hard to find. Google maps stopped a mile short. Happy with the accommodations though and staff is very nice. A little short staffed so check in took awhile. Great facilities. Way more than we expected.
Everything was perfect.
BEEN THERE A FEW TIME 'S VERY GOOD
Such a beautiful resort! We went away for our anniversary and plan on returning with the kids next summer.
Beautiful place
Lots of amenities, clean and spacious rooms
Large clean rooms, Canadian money at par will definitely bring us back in winter to try the skiing!
requires more walkable dining options
ski resrideort in the summer season ,waterpark tram
We liked the waterpark and tram ride. We stayed at the stateside, but would prefer to be closer to the waterpark. Overall it was great!
There is no restaurant open after 9:00 pm and I didn't know about it, I spent the whole night without eating anything, the hotel has a CLOSED restaurant, in the room there is no water for people, it is disappointing.
Had a great visit, amazing views, great hotel with nice dining options for our family! Only con is the checkout time was 10 am (would have been nice if it was 11am), which was slightly tough getting all of our stuff together with two small children :)
For what we paid, a little more attention to detail would have been helpful, like where things were in the kitchen, where the toilet paper was ( we ran out downstairs and had to go in search of at a most "inconvenient time. More selection of pans and kitchen utensils would have been helpful too. I know most people use this facility for winter vacations, but really, if you are going to rent out a facility in the summer, air conditioning should be an option. Finally, upon check in- our guest that got there first was charged $197 when according to my bill, the only charge that wasn't paid before check in was the Resort fee and that was only $58 or so. Now he has to "talk to" a supervisor to get things straightened out.
I made my reservation with Expedia and it was unnecessarily complicated checking in at the hotel. They couldn’t find my booking, they were charging additional amounts and it took over 1 1/2 hours to check in and the hotel kept blaming Expedia for the troubles

Bathroom and bedroom on 2 different floorscwas a problem.
